…….so this is an after work thing, which….I’m ok with! I have to go back to work in like…ten-ish minutes but it still sucks.

Anyways, I wanted to at least say that I am thinking of making some changes to the blog! Mainly maybe updating the rules that are a bit outta date and I am also tossing around the idea of adding some OCs!

I have a few Sonic OCs that are slowly starting to act up, a couple of CR OCs and…maybe my Pokémon OC? Need to update her look since she’s definitely post-Scarlet/Teal Mask DLC. …..*and* maybe a…ML AU version of a character I came up with.

And even if I don’t add them, -shrugs- not gonna be the end of the world. Rn….need to get going soon, maaaah.

if i may be real a moment I am struggling to be motivated to write. it has nothing to do with the muse because i can talk about boothill and hsr all day, but when i sit down to write, it doesn't matter what i pick to answer, a thread, an inbox prompt, a headcanon etc. i get hit with bleh feelings of 'what is the point?' and then i shelf the draft that times passes and then i feel 'well its been so long now i think the receiver doesn't care/remember this anymore' and more of the feeling 'what is the point?' grows ya feel me. and it kinda sucks because the anniversary of boothill's debut banner is coming and so is my anniversary of me writing him. and it stinks. like it feels like i'm burning out right as i'm nearing the finish line. like i said, i don't think i could drop hsr or writing boothill because this cowboy has my heart and soul but latetly there is no joy in writing. and it hasn't nothing to do with the rpc or mutuals because i get good enough interactions and ppl willing to plot and listen to my ideas. idk it's like the hobby of writing seems so ... unfulfilling at the moment. so yeah. i think i would appreciate people understanding i am turning into 'writes when the motivation hits' kinda of rp blog and i am no way ignoring them or disregarding them. if we're mutuals, i want to write. but right now, the pace of writing is very ambiguous. and i'm very sorry.

I would love to get back into doing more RPs. I've been sitting here too long just reblogging stuff, reblogging memes, and shitposting.

I have muses for Tron (AU Clu 2 and AU General Tesler), 2001: A Space Odyssey (Hal 9000 and some side muses, Including two OCs), and Atlantis the Lost Empire (Milo and an AU Rourke). I also have a sideblog of my alien OCs over on @the-rovarians.

Aww, when I saw this pop up in my inbox it made my day!

1880/8018 was such a core part of my childhood, and it immediately jumped at me despite how obscure it was. They're very 'in the back' compared to most mainstream ships in the fandom so I totally get most people not even considering them as a pair (until they pick up Yoneda's works, at least)

They've always had really big potential for me because of how compatible their motifs are. They already have a strong, unique, mutual respect with each other where secrets don't need to be kept, and I think that's my main favourite thing about them.

That and Hibari just seems to love sparring with Yamamoto and will immediately bring out 'the big guns'. There's soooo many 'Yamamoto Takeshi Exceptions' he seems to carry I can't help but write my own Hibari with the biggest confusing crush LOLLLL

Super aesthetic Carrds with itty bitty font sizes or difficult navigation.

To my understanding, carrds serve the same purpose for mobile/dash only users that Rules, Muse and Mun pages do for those of us who use desktop themes. Because of that I would think they should be easy to read, easy to navigate, and not super cluttered.

While I definitely don't think my eyesight is super bad (I do need glasses, but that's for seeing things at a distance), if I have to squint or lean closer to my screen to read someone's rules, I fear for those with worse eyesight than I. There are ways to have things be aesthetic while also being accessible. I don't get why "aesthetic" in this instance equals "small."

My only assumption is that this is a resurgence and/or continuation of the Ye Olden RPC days where everyone was strict abt aesthetic, and I dunno how to feel about that. I wasn't around for that time, and I don't really want to experience it LMAO

ooc. just wanted to pop on and say hey with a lil' update!! Work has been especially heckish this week and my extended fam is in town, so I've been taking my small bit of free time to grind out some games and recharge my writing batteries. I'm so, so happy that I have so many interesting and awesome adventures to continue on here and across my other blogs, but I'm waiting until everything settles down irl so I don't overextend myself before diving back in to writing again. I'm super excited to get cracking on these stories, and--as always--I'm also super grateful to my thread partners for their patience. Love it here. 😊

Currently obsessing over Pokemon TCG Live with my friends and cousin--we're trying to see who can climb furthest up the ranked ladder by the time they leave this weekend. I've also been convinced to get back into Showdown on the side...so I guess you could say Dan's Pokemon Summer is in full swing now.
