Luke’s style seems to gravitate towards stuff like them park dates and county fair dates, so that’s what he does for your first

He picks you up early on a Saturday morning, bright eyed and bushy tailed. You're almost annoyed because no one should be so perky before 10 am in the morning. And he doesn’t need coffee rude

The two of you stop for a quick breakfast before descending on the theme park

After that you run through the usual culprits: twirly rides, house of mirrors, a couple roller coasters (before lunch, not after), pretending to be scared at the haunted house rides

he shows off his aim at some of the game booths winning you exactly what you want

You even manage to convince him to do face painting with you

In all honesty, it feels like being kids again. Except kids don’t hold hands and find secluded areas to make out

In the evening you find a nice little hill--scratch that, the two of you are definitely sitting next to each other on the Farris wheel while you watch the fireworks

Marius

A date with Marius is upscale. You definitely need a fancy dress which he has no problems paying for

It comes in two parts

First he takes you to an art gallery. One he totally rented out for the night

You’re more than happy to watch him smile and talk about his art. He always lights up and sometimes loses that mask of the rich little shit and it is a treat

You spend several hours there, but he’s mindful of your comfort. Heels are a bitch to walk in for long periods of time. 

When you’re ready to leave, Marius takes you to a super fancy restaurant. You went a little pale when you saw where you were going, then reminded you that Marius has the money to volunteer to give you ridiculously expensive dogs. A private reservation overlooking a quiet park is no biggie for Mr. Acting President von Hagen.  

All in all, it’s very nice. You can’t get out of being the object of his teasing and no matter how fancy the joint, he still gets full named. 

Artem

A first date with Artem is classic. Dinner and a movie. 

The two of you ended up going back and forth about who picked the movie and diner, eventually settling on you picking the movie while he picked the diner.

You did your research and picked something that would appeal to both of you. A reshowing of a timeless chick flick: The Titanic (Is the Titanic a classic in 2030?)

Artem makes sure he has plenty of tissues he knows you’re prone to crying at the end

Afterwards, you two have an in depth debate over whether Jack and Rose would have both fit on the door. He tells you that if that ever happens, he’ll make sure both of you survive. 

For diner Artem takes you to a nice Mom-and-Pop restaurant. It turns out he’s been going there since he was a kid and the proprietors are really happy to see that “Artie finally found himself a nice girl. It’s about time.”

Despite their gentle teasing, the food there really is some of the best you’ve ever had

Of course, Artem drives you home himself and walks you to the door

Vyn

And last, but never least Vyn “here are my red flags” Richter

On the scale of fancy to classic to casual, Vyn ends up bringing you on a date that rates somewhere between fancy and classic. It’s classy, it’s upscale, but it’s not oozing “I run a conglomerate” either

He takes you to see a ballet or an Opera. Swan lake, maybe, Something refined, much like your date

Of course, you have very good seats. Vyn wouldn’t have anything else.

After the show, you go to a quiet, but upscale restaurant. It’s one well known for it’s wine, which the guy is an absolute stickler for. 

Vyn is a complete gentleman the entire time. Really, he always is. Treating you with nothing but the utmost respect, despite his concerning manipulative tendencies and you enjoy seeing a glimpse of what Vyn is like when you’re not calling him Dr. Richter.

let's set the scene: someone standing by the corner of a wall, obstructed from the view. another person is coming! quick, get in position to pop out and scare them!

vyn - very unfazed outwardly. did flinch and took a step back, but what are you talking about? he was merely waiting for the person to pop out any moment. afraid, him? why would he be? oiger didn't snap their neck, they're not a threat and he wasn't surprised they were there lol

artem - full on jumps. probably let out a yelp but they're not sure? honestly, they almost missed their queue to scare him bc he's that good at sneaking around. 50% chance you made him drop his coffee. now he's sad, buy him a coffee :C

marius - very very very prolonged scream. a little high-pitched if we're being honest. even after seeing the culprit, he will keep screaming. congrats, you are now the center of attention for making Marius von Hagen scream

luke - one of two: he doesn't jump. he's acutely aware of his surroundings and will force himself to jump just to humor the person scaring him. no one catches luke 'hypervigilance' peace off guard enough to scare him. if, by some miracle, he was actually caught off guard? punch to the face guaranteed. they're gonna walk away feeling something regardless lolol

Losing, breaking, stealing & forgetting

I promised myself I would post this once one of my other works would reach 50 likes/reblogs. Welp, it did! Thank you so much for all the love and support! With this piece, I couldn’t help myself! After my first request, this little drabble stayed in my head. Rent free of course! So, I had to play with it a little, and this funny HC came to life. Still, these are my interpretations of the boys, please do not take offense, but enjoy! It will be the boys, separately, with you, the dear reader. Pretend they are already in a relationship of some sort? (I know we all do anyway!) Enjoy!

It was not just his head Artem lost this time.

Artem Wing was very professional when it came to work.

But at home, he lost his head many, many times. Mainly because you occupied his mind, there was only room for you now.

His carefully constructed schedule left no room for errors, so he thought.

He knew it was his flaw, and that was why he always planned everything, so he wouldn't lose any documents, keys, his phone or any other things he might need throughout the day.

He didn’t mind that it happened to him, but having you on the receiving end, he could just feel himself dying.

Your apartment keys were in his slacks pocket. He promised to pick up the case files that he left at your place, thinking he didn’t need them at first.

When he reached for his phone, his pinkie finger got stuck in one of the keychain rings.

He pulled out his phone, and before he could react, your keys fell through the cracks of the sewer lid. This kind of losing was purely accidental of course, but still...

He could only stare at the sewer lid in terror for at least a minute, He had one job! Artem.exe stopped working. (I love saying that. Who came up with that, kudos!)

When his mind started forming coherent sentences again, there were swear words coming out of his mouth that I dare not repeat. Wash his mouth with soap! Filthy swear words.

He called in a favour to Captain Morgan. ''Attorney Wing, you know as well as I do, that I can't fix that.'' ''I know! But I have to try something, what else am I supposed to do?'' panic mode was set in.

Then he called Luke, hoping he could (and wanted to) break into your apartment, secretly, of course. Artem had no problem murdering Luke if this ever came out. He was the law, after all.

After retrieving the files, Artem made Luke swear to never talk about this incident, ever.

But the minute he saw you at the end of the chaotic day, he blurted it out like a waterfall. He should have known he could never keep anything from you.

Artem pampered you for at least a month. Fancy dinners, movies, the best home cooking you ever tasted, and unlimited cuddles. The man has never felt more guilty, and he would do anything in his power to make it up to you. -----

A clumsy 6-foot boy named Marius

Marius von Hagen is as clumsy as it gets. (You can fight me on this one)

He would often bump against his easel or his table, sending paint onto the floor, or you, if you're with him.

Paperwork was always scattered everywhere because of him dropping it way too many times. Thus, he hired a special paperwork assistant (oh the boy has way too much money)

Whenever Marius would visit your place, you had to know in advance.

You would have to hide all the valuable/irreplaceable stuff.

Whenever he would visit unannounced, you would grit your teeth so hard they could fall out. Anxiety level 1000, with every step he would take.

One day, you came home frow work and you saw Marius bouncing around in your living room.

The vase you got from the office the other week was standing dangerously close behind him on the coffee table.

When Marius heard you enter, he got beyond excited, and forgot about his surroundings.

At first you heard Marius call you, then, the ear deafening sound of the vase crashing on the floor, shattering in a thousand pieces.

He didn’t know how fast he could grab you in his arms, chanting ''I'm so sorry miss'' over, and over again.

Luckily, he would always clean up his mess, (all the while apologizing) and replace anything replaceable.

The beautiful vase however, was not that easy to replace. He had to beg Celestine and Kiki to make it again. In exchange for a very expensive dinner, and gifts. (Good thing the boy has a lot of money)

Marius took you away for the weekend as his sincerest apology. While the vase was being made again. ----- Finders keepers is a thing, when it comes to Vyn.

Vyn Richter, the mysterious and very private psychiatrist, had many secrets. Dirty secrets as well. And this was one of them.

On your days off, you often found yourself in the most comfortable clothing, underwear not an exception.

''Where are they? I was sure I put them in here after laundry!'' face red, going crazy. How can a pair of panties just disappear? Didn’t that just happen with socks in a dryer? And I don’t even own a dryer...

You called out to your boyfriend Vyn, asking if he misplaced the clean laundry.

You didn’t get an answer. Figuring he was in his study; you went to see him.

A sexy, teasing smile was written all over his face when you entered.

Not only did he get away with his mischief for more than a week, he was surprisingly calm when you walked in on him looking at your underwear with great interest.

Let me repeat that. He stole what? Yes, a pair of your panties! And not the sexy kind, but the ''I should throw these out because they are way to girly for a woman like me, but I didn’t because they fit so nicely.'' kind. This one? Pink with polka dots, and a small ribbon on the front.

''Vyn, why... uh...?'' There were no other words. You tried to choose between getting angry, or laughing at the sight. Your face said it all, and of course Vyn noticed.

''Dear, you know I would never steal; I was just... admiring them for a while.''

Shaking your head, you closed the door and left him alone with his weird, but attractive mind. You could always buy a new pair.

And you will be asking him about the scene you witnessed, after your giggling subsided.

And he would have a perfectly logical explanation for the scene. (The art of psychology) -----

Where chaos meets Luke's short-term memory

Even though Luke Pearce was the best detective out there, he was still human. And forgetting something was human after all.

Being a chaotic storm, it was a miracle he rarely forgot his keys. Until now, it happened only once!

But for fear he did, you kept a spare key, and gave a copy to Rosa the other NXX boys. On the off chance it would happen, at 5 in the morning. You would not handle that.

Luckily for Marius (let's be honest, he will be the only one awake to help), that was not what he forgot.

But unlucky for you, you were on the receiving end of a major chaos storm meets memory.

Luke actually forgot to turn off the heat, in your apartment. Why would he even turn it on? We will never know. It was early spring, a sunny 16 *C (61 *F) outside.

But when you got home, after a day of running around in the city, leaving you warm and sweaty, the warmth at your place flew at you like a heatwave.

Seeing it was now a high 20 *C (69*F, stop laughing Marius) You could only sprint to all the doors and windows, opening them up all the way in rapid speed.

Even though it was still early spring, you sat in your living room wearing the thinnest summer dress you could find.

Once you confronted Luke, he showed up at your door within an hour, carrying the latest air-conditioning equipment. Along with your favourite snacks, a bouquet of flowers and a whole lot of hugs, kisses and apologies.

You forgave him, on the condition he would never touch your thermostat ever again. -----

I know, these hc’s were slightly (if not very) OOC, Artem would never lose anything. But, I had too much fun with it. And be honest, Vyn would definitely do that. A dirty mind is a joy forever, right?

tot boys in an idol group au

… artem wing

the leader among all four of the boys. this wasn’t much of a surprise to some of you, since his maturity and role as the eldest plays a part in this decision. remember when mc says in his side story he’d make a great dad ? now he’s the dad of three in the group.

the lead rapper. artem has a naturally deep voice, so it fits with the rapper position. he also has quite the large vocabulary ( i’m personally not sure knowing a lot of words helps with rapping, perhaps with the rhymes ? ). either way, he would definitely have some lines where he slowly raps with his low tone.

lead vocalist. i don’t know about you guys, but i firmly believe that this fine man can sing. he’s already perfect enough <3. men with deep voices such as artem would make an amazing vocalist, with deep lines that aren’t as high as the usual tones you’d hear in pop music. take a look at wonwoo from seventeen’s vocals.

the visual. i personally think all four boys would fit to take the visual position, but honestly ? artem seems the most visually appealing to me. the others would have their own charms, such as marius’s trademark smirk, luke’s beady and bright eyes, and vyn’s soft smile — but in artem’s case, he doesn’t particularly have this sort of charm that makes him all the more attractive. he doesn’t need a defining point to make him attractive, and that speaks so loudly how he deserves the visual position.

… vyn richter

the main vocalist. now hear me out — i don’t have a particular reason in why i chose vyn to be the main vocalist. it was most probably a gut feeling for me as to why i picked that decision. but i’m definitely not complaining ; his soft sweet melodic voice i would want to hear over and over, it’s probably no surprise if he actually turns out to have some really good skills in terms of singing.

lead dancer. at this point it’s probably me following my gut when it comes to deciding the rest of the positions as well, but i do headcanon that vyn would definitely be swift whenever he picks up his legs and runs wherever, so i am assuming he’d also make a great dancer. heck, maybe he might be the choreographer of the group because of his seemingly limitless knowledge of how well some series of dance moves go well together.

bonus, i honestly think outside of idol entertainment vyn would definitely be the one most likely to become an actor. he pays attention to how people act and feel whenever they are in different situations, so he himself may eventually pick them up and make an amazing actor in his career.

… luke pearce

the face of the group. he’s on the literal icon of the tears of themis app, so why not make him the fotg ? he’s already the face of the app and one of the most popular among the boys. he’s also talked about a lot to the point his face would come up first to many’s minds whenever the group ( or game ) gets brought up in different conversations.

main dancer. correct me if i’m wrong, but luke probably is the most athletically versed out of the four men ( well, maybe aside from artem but we gotta keep the positions fair yk ). he could probably nail down all of the dance steps in first practice routine.

lead vocalist. luke would be vocally capable as well ! i firmly believe he actually gives that bangchan of stray kids kind of vocals mixed with a hyunjin style of dancing, you know ? i apologize for those non kpop stans since i really don’t know how to describe his skills </3.

i also believe in sub rapper luke supremacy. he isn’t much experienced in rapping as marius is, but he’d be the type to have a high pitched, speedy rap in some of his lines. those lines aren’t so common, but it’s equally a blessing.

… marius von hagen

absolutely the main rapper. marius’s natural voice would make really good rap lines in the group’s title tracks. i honestly really think he’d have those really fast lines ? maybe there could be some slow raps here and there but i think he has mastered rolling his tongue on spitting those verses perfectly.

lead dancer. at this point i’m probably thinking all of them are capable of dancing but hear me out ! marius gives those swag vibes if you know what i’m talking about ? he’d have a dance style more similar to taeyong from nct, which is sort of robot-like in a sense ? he also is one of the members who pick up the dance steps at a quicker learning pace, alongside luke.

maknae / youngest. this is sort of a bonus but to think how marius is the tallest yet the youngest among all four of them is really funny. imagine people who don’t stan the group and being in shock, realizing how marius is the youngest, but he towers over everyone. ( the thought of it makes me giggle a bit ngl ). he also pulls the maknae card whenever he wants something from the older members, that cheeky bastard.

marius: absolutely loves pickles. will eat them straight out of the jar. once giann gifted him a bucket of pickles and he was on cloud nine for so long. his dad probably got him a pickle rick not bc of rick, but because it was a pickle. #1 pickle fanatic.

artem: he's undecided on pickles. habit has him taking out his pickles and giving them to other people (bc neil was a pickle fiend so now he just takes them out instinctually) but he likes the residue flavor they leave behind.

vyn: if you so happen to bring a pickle in his presence he will stop talking to you. absolutely hates pickles with a passion. if his burger has any pickles when he asked for none he will not touch the burger.

luke: does not care. food is food. pickles are food and therefore he will eat them. he is the equivalent of a garbage can just give him all your leftovers or other stuff you don't like he will eat them.

mini character analysis: marius von hagen, facade vs. sincerity, harsh truths vs. persisting hope.

man i am Thinking about Marius von Hagen.

ive played through a bunch of his card stories and am one bit away from finishing his chara story ep2 and im farthest in his lost gold route and just. im kind of obsessed now about the recurring theme of facade vs. sincerity and harsh truths vs. persisting hope.

facade vs. sincerity is the first theme i picked up on, since it’s pretty obvious. thanks to his status and background, he constantly has an Image Of Himself to keep up and establish. in investigations, he tends to put on masks and acts the exact way he needs to to get people to slip up. here, facade and sincerity are at odds.

but then also marius casually has the tendency to “act” a certain way to get things like praise and reassurance, which could arguably interpreted as him using facades (which in this situation i think is actually him just saying theyre facades, theyre actually sincere, but he hides that, says it’s just an act) to acquire the deep seated sincerity he wishes. here, facade is a medium by which to acquire sincerity from others. 

let’s swerve now to harsh truths vs. persisting hope. i saw this first in his chara story ep2 where he had that conversation with that forger painter dude (i forgot his name, sorry). marius had said to that dude something along the lines of like “hey don’t you believe in art, i think you do, deep down.” and that dude laughed at him, called marius naive, said that art in this world is about money because of the harsh realities of capitalism (mood lol). the story then goes onto reveal that marius was right, actually, that dude did believe in art, did have genuine emotionally-driven reasons for doing what he did. here, the persisting hope trumps the harsh truths.

but then in the lost gold event, marius route 02-06, his hope gets himself in danger. he tries to talk bryce out of his search for immortality, he has hope in bryce that he will change. when marius realizes he cant stop bryce, marius still appeals for bryce to be good and honest and answer his questions about the overarching case. bryce responds by pulling out a fucking knife, presumably to stab and kill marius. here, the persisting hope is attacked by the harsh truths. EDIT: preceding sentence may be proven wrong since im not done with the whole lost gold event plot.

but facade vs. sincerity and harsh truths vs. persisting hope aren’t two themes in a vacuum. they converge through marius’ life, through his actions, through his personality. 

like, why does marius crave sincerity? because he has hope. why does marius employ facades? because harsh truths are painful. sincerity is a truth, but truths to marius can be scary. a facade is a wall he ultimately puts up to protect himself in case his hope is wrong. 

these fascinating intersections make it so apparent that marius is the youngest. he’s the youngest in the team, he’s the youngest in his family. im not saying that hope and fear are exclusively young traits, but that it does fit in with how his life has gone so far.

marius was a kid with honest dreams he was allowed to pursue with a father and brother who supported him. then his older brother goes missing. then he’s thrust into a world of corporate snakes and responsibility. then he’s a young guy who was forced to grow up very quickly under the weight of the circumstances he’s in. when that happens to somebody, when they have to grow up in such a short time, they put up walls, they protect themselves, because the light inside of them yearns for something theyre not sure they can get anymore. 

facades, sincerity, harsh truths, persisting hope, all of that comes together in a hodgepodge, creating a character that, at his core, just wants to be okay

maybe marius von hagen’s basic fear is this: he doesnt want to get hurt.
