JGP EGNA RECAP
Yes, this past saturday I decided to get in my car right after work destination Egna for the last JGP, it was only an hour and half trip, come on XD
Love the general cheesy and relaxed atmosphere and had great company. We had Zich and Malinin running around and pestering everybody (or generally being busy talking to people waaaay taller and that was hilarious), Shmuratko’s baby brother doing what every annoying baby brother would do XD, ice dancers cheering for everybody.
The competition: reeeally enjoyed junior men in general, Luc Maierhofer floored me: beautiful high jumps that covered so much distance, skating skills, interpretation and he actually got a page from Tessa Virtue’s outfits for his costume, simple but so beautiful live (well, he’s beautiful, I admit it XD). Only thing, that axel. Please, fix the axel boy! Malinin was entertaining, I really liked Selevko and Chen, well done from Adam, he’s recovering, but Brian, please, YOUR HAIIIIRRRR XD
Good fight from Gumennik, the only one who actually looked thiner on youtube than reality XD But I really like him, I’m happy he qualified!
Shmuratko had an....interesting outfit, let’s say! XD Good program, I’d like to see him evolve in the future, plus he can have space in Ukraine right now. And he was so cute outside, you can’t help but cheer for him.
Daniel, yessssssss! You did it my boy! You almost kill me from anxiety but you did it XD Can’t wait to see him in Turin!
Junior ladies, so happy to saw some small federation, I’m always here to new countries to joying the figure skating party, the more the merrier!
Park delivered so well, a pity for her short! Also I hope to see Kiibus grown up in the future. Ruiter won me over with Harry Potter music, I admit XD
Very good job from Sinitsyna, I think Frolova still has a lot of work to do.
And a big YAY for team Italy with all 3 in the top ten! Alessia was stunning and deserved the podium, well done girl, keep up!
Also, now I have a picture with our saviour Ted Barton, my life is complete XD

2021 Austrian Nationals entry #4
Senior men free program
Maurizio Zandron
Thoughts: Because I usually love Alice in Wonderland programs so so much, I have tried to let this one grow on me. But that obnoxious bow tie. I’m sorry, it’s just not happening.
Senior men short program
Luc Maierhofer(how the fuck have I not gushed about him yet?!)
Thoughts: there was a sort of quiet anger to this. Probably the kind that figure skaters are really good at. Anger that says: I want to scream and throw things, but I’ve got to be graceful and shit. Luc, he’s such a dreamboat.
Senior men free program
Luc Maierhofer
Thoughts: my brain sort of checks out when he flips his hair. He is such a pretty thing. His bangs are even starting to curl a little, fun.
2021 German Nationals Entry #1
Senior women short program
Kristina Isaev
Thoughts: I enjoyed this. But I could’ve done without that spin position where she leaned to the side and grabbed her skirt.

World Figure Skating Men’s Short Program Group 3
Lukas Britschgi (SUI)
music: Love is a Bitch by Two Feet
costume: grey/white hombre type shirt.
fall x2. :(
I really hate this song, and he’s not Jason.. this song just is another one that confuses me for programs.. its not fun.. its not slow and emotional.. like it just sits there and no one is going to get invested in it.
score: 54.58
Luc Maierhofer (AUT)
music: Bonga by Paxi Ni Ngongo
Costume: blue jumpsuit with sparkle embellishments on the shoulders.
This is a very percussive song for figure skating. i’m looking around for the drum line on ice.
Score: 65.78
Igor Reznichenko (POL)
music: Give Me Love by Ed Sheeran
Costume: not quite black top, but its very dark. There are sparkles on the collar.
fall. x2 :( plus a popped jump. He is struggling. But hey, a split jump.. I can get behind that! Not a good program.. and mostly just kind of boring.
Score: 50.15
Ivan Shmurtako (UKR)
music: Domani performed by Andrea Boccelli
Costume: white top with grey hombre effect towards the bottom and sleeves.
2 not quite a a falls. :( and a real fall. Rough. Also, he is not into this program.. if you’re going to skate to something slow and lyrical, you have got to be into it.
Score: 62.99
Donovan Carrillo (MEX)
Music: Jazz Machine by Black Machine
Costume: Black and red sparkly top. It’s fabulous. I hope he brings the sass like at 4 continents. :D
Oh yas. Sasss. Popped the axel. :( and a fall. :( But still so much fun to watch!! There are some people who lose all their energy after a fall, he is not one of them.
Score: 54.99
Brendan Kerry (AUS)
Music: Prelude (from “Age of Heroes”) by Havasi
Costume: Blue top with some pleataing and a V neck line.
Brendan is one of my favorites. He didn’t fall!!! :DD Definitely epic music too.
Score: 78.26 (Qualified to free skate!)
People have started to qualify for the free skate.. Brendan was the only one from group three... oi.

Klangnetze is a collaborative sound art project that explores the idea of ecological sound art.
The project is created by a group of artists that build eco-sustainable, open source, autonomous hardware agents that are capable of recording, producing and exchanging sound and data. On five locations across Styria, these sound devices will be placed between July and August 2022, creating site-specific sound installations that live though the exchange with their acoustic environment. The sound installations can be listened on site and online (follow the link). Klangnetze is funded by a special grant for digital art in public space by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Culture. Project lead and creative team: David Pirrò, Daniele Pozzi, Luc Döbereiner, Ina Thomann, Veronika Mayer, Hanns-Holger Rutz, Margarethe Maierhofer-Lischka

It's me, anonymous, again. Actually 'micaelis' is my user-name on the net. I'm wondering if there is any kind of seeding of the order in the short program or is it a totally random sequence? In short, is Stephen's 25th spot a result of his skill or just the luck of the draw?
Hello again micaelis and thanks for your question.
I discussed this a bit an earlier post which you may find helpful. The draws for short programs and rhythm dances at ISU world championship events are done based on world standings. Stephen is ranked 100th right now since this is his first season skating as a junior and he has only competed in three junior international events. The group he’s in, group 5, has skaters ranked close to him: Frangipani is 95th, Oktar is 89th, Litvintsev is 82nd, Gumennik is 78th, and M. Belohradsky is 73rd. The sixth group has skaters who are ranked higher. Luc Maierhofer is 72nd, Danielian is 68th, Gorodnitsky is 67th, etc.
Stephen was a bit fortunate to draw late in his group so he’s closer to the second last group. His PCS might be affected somewhat by skating earlier but we’ll have to see what happens. Junior Worlds for men is always unpredictable.

A második koncert szereplői:
Ajánlott adomány: 500 / 1000 HUF Markus Krispel, Matija Schellander ás Miklós Szilveszter triójának további koncertjei: 2017. május 5., péntek - Ljubljana, Vodnikova Domačija Šiška 2017. május 11., csütörtök - Bécs, Mo.ë A Borderless Dissonance eseménysorozat további budapesti koncertjei: 2017. április 10., hétfő - Budapest, Kék Ló Irene Kepl / Jošt Drašler / Kovács Gergely 2017. május 16., kedd - Budapest, Kék Ló Kováts Gergő / Margarethe Maierhofer-Lischka / Vid Drašler Bővebb info: http://kudmreza.org/borderless-dissonance/ A nemzetközi eseménysorozat támogatói: Alps-Adriatic-Alliance, Avstrijski Kulturni Forum Ljubljana, Osztrák Kulturális Fórum Budapest, KUD Mreža, Šopron Shuffle, JazzaJ

Nice Double Twist. Solid throw Triple Lutz. Forward from her on the sbs Triple Lutz. Looks like their death spiral was not given credit. Lift could have been a bit smoother. Nice step sequence. Nice pairs spin.
Solid skate from Gabriella Izzo and Luc Maierhofer of Austria. A couple of mistakes today, but overall, not a bad job at all.
