Since you said keykids, I'll take this oppurtunity to talk about my two in-game keykids, Juniper and Ludere!

Juniper is my player keykid- I took her with me throughout that entire game from the moment I got it to the moment it ended. She's around 16-ish, at least by the end. I was 12-13 when I first started playing khux, so we'll say that that's how old she was when she first got her keyblade :D. Juniper, as the player character, has their personality- she doesn't talk a lot, but she's incredibly compassionate and kind. Her years as a wielder have caused her to mature quicker than she might've otherwise, which is either a positive or a negative depending on how you look at it. She's calm and composed, but also deeply awkward when it comes to interacting with other keyblade wielders. To put it simply- she's a nice acquaintance, but no one really knows her beyond what's on the surface. Juniper is constantly on that grind for her Union, until a certain curly-haired scarf wearer comes along.....

Ludere is kind of her opposite, he's 15 and very new to the wielder-scene. He's optimistic and energetic and very "are you telling me a shrimp fried this rice?"-core. He's super friendly but has difficulty reading social cues. He quickly attaches himself to Juniper upon joining the same party, referring to her as his "soul friend" ("it's like a soulmate but like, platonic"- L). At first, Juniper finds him a bit obnoxious, but eventually warms up to him and starts genuinely seeing him as a friend and confidant.

Of course, this happiness does not last, because when War comes around the corner, Ludere is not one of the lucky few to become a Dandelion, and thus looses his life in the Keyblade War. Right in front of Juniper, mind you. He dies in her arms and she uses his keyblade to kill the person who killed him- it's the only time she's ever killed.

When Juniper wakes up in the fake Daybreak Town, she's paradoxically panicking and calm about Ludere's disappearance. She's worried about how he hasn't shown up in days, but it's like the thought is forcefully being repressed....

Juniper and Ludere are both in the Unicornis union (rise up 🦄✊). Juniper's keyblade of choice is Bad Guy Breaker, and Ludere's is Stroke of Midnight :).

why are they acting as if sam's expressions were unwarrantably violent despite lilith and crowley having both been outwardly awful to/trying to kill sam, his peers and/or independent victims, crowley having literally killed sarah in his arms basically a singular episode before sam said that; or as if sam punching dean when dean asked sam to knock him out was also unnecessarily violent and not at all related to their dynamic throughout the past twenty episodes or even WITHIN the episode when dean kept excluding sam because he thinks and keeps expressing that he thinks sam is incapable because of the trials + his own fear of sam's worsening conditions. why don't they think this could at all be related to sam's proving himself when dean asked and then quite literally as dean starts teasing sam for being 'off his game' (implied: from the trials) especially during an arc when sam feels like his independence is at stake.

well i know why but this has to be a kind of willful ignorance, right? there's no way these people aren't following the arc as it happens or their dynamic as it plays out. like there is absolutely, definitely something to be said about dean's ideal of his little brother Sammy, passive and to be protected but literally why would you forgo deconstructing that by simply referring to sam as unnecessarily violent and frequently so. it's like in trying to assert an analysis of sam vs sammy you just apply it twice and tighten the standards of Sammy ie. assert that sam is Actually exhibiting so much more violence than is normal to express as a hunter for simply engaging in (not even) dean-typical activities (because this was asked for at least) instead of actually doing any deconstruction. maddeningly shallow
