Aerial Powers, Forward/Guard for the Minnesota Lynx / 2022

After Sunday night’s game, during her jersey retirement speech Rebekkah Brunson mentioned Aerial Powers, saying that “A.P. told me she was gonna get me 32 points tonight, and she did!” (the jersey number being retired was #32). That effort set a new career high for points in a single game for Powers.  When asked by a reporter if she scored 32 points on purpose to honor Rebekkah Brunson, Powers left it to the imagination, saying simply “maybe I did, maybe I didn’t.”

That night, the last place Minnesota Lynx beat the first place Las Vegas Aces 102-71. (And there was much rejoicing.)

カメラの交換レンズのはなし

ライカRのレンズを買い足した。

・35mm/f2.8 elmarit-r　3CAM（最初期型） 35mmはぼんやりと眺めている切り取りサイズ。構図を決めて被写界深度深めにしてぱちっ、と。RF機に向いている、と言われなるほどと思う。このレンズの最初期型は、刻印文字が赤白で、フードは初期Summicronと供用。1CAMタイプしかないはずだが、おそらくライカが行っていたユーザーサービスで3CAM化したものと思われる。あるいは米国のリペア屋。線が太目、暖色系が強い印象。赤がきれいに乗る。

撮ってもらった。

・50mm/f1.4 summilux-r　3CAM（type 1？） 50mmが標準の画角、と広く言われている。バルナック型ライカ登場時に50mm/f3.5 elmarがついていたことが初めらしい。人の目の画角に近いというのも標準と言われる所以か。注視した時の切り取りサイズとほぼ同じとのこと。早いレンズが欲しかったこと、汚いと噂のボケを見てみたかったことから購入を決意。開放は甘目だが、f2.8くらいから安定感あるかな。フラットに近い色乗り。

・60mm/f2.8 macro elmarit-r　3CAM 60mm、個人的には眼鏡ユーザーはこれくらいが注視した状態の切り取りサイズなのではないか？と感じる。これも標準と言えるな、言いたいな～と思う。 35～60が標準？そう考えると今回買い足したレンズは全て標準域だ。色乗りはフラットだがこってりめ、線は細い。マクロから遠景まで破たんを感じない。これ凄い使いやすいレンズだな、と思う。

はじめは一眼のレンズを28 /f2.8-50 /f2-90 /f2.8 で揃えたが、どうも合わない。28mmと50mm/f2がどうも遠く感じる。他を試そう、と60mmと35mmを買い足した。

Rレンズはこってり暖色系の色乗りが特徴だと思っているが、28mmは少し寒い印象。カリカリ写る。50mm/f2はマゼンタ寄り、カリカリ。さすがsummicron。 太めなのはレンズ設計が古い35mmと90mmで、コントラストで絵作りする、懐の深いレンズ。90mmは特に人を撮るとすごいのが出たりする。

切り取り感覚は35mmと60mmが良い。近寄る必要も遠のく必要もない。35-60-90、なかなかいい。 やっぱりカメラ、特に一眼て楽しい。フィルムでいっぱい使い倒して、デジタルでも使って遊ぼう。今年はきちんとRAW現像してみたい。今更ではあるが。
