I got a Magic of I planner and I’m trying to decide how I want to use it. I really want to get more into astrology so I thought something like this would be a great tool to begin at the very least being mindful of what’s going on astrologically. I don’t plan on using it as a planner since I already got another book for that (I’ll show that beauty off once it arrives!) so I was thinking of using it more like a journal/record keeper. I feel like that would be more beneficial since I can see and track how the cosmos are impacting me. And afterwards the book can be used as reference material in my studies. I might even incorporate my tarot studies into it to create a bigger picture.

I just have to think about what exactly I want to journal about and record? Will it primarily be spiritual or magical? Or will I also include the mundane??? I feel like it’ll be better for me to leave it open to whatever I think is significant at any given time since the mundane and the spiritual not only cross paths frequently, my goal is for them to completely merge. 👍🏻

Set intentions with empathy at the forefront that align with your deepest desires and spiritual aspirations, with a focus on the collective. If we collectively dream of better days in these moments, what impact might that have? What if this new moon was a group prayer? I'm here for that​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ Other ways to honor this new moon would be to embrace your creativity: make time for creative projects. If you need to release emotions: water rituals for cleansing and releasing are optimum. And dream journalling: personally my dreams have been wild and this has been helpful and insightful into the subconscious realm​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ If you have been regularly moon journalling, after reflecting on your intentions for this new moon, it might be interesting to go back and revisit the last moon cycle of last year. Sun enters Taurus ☉♉︎ 19th PST 7:00 / 20th AEST 2:00 The sun enters Taurus as Jupiter and Uranus link up by degree, which seems an auspicious way to start off a season. We have finally cleared the eclipse window, and even as Mercury retrograde lingers, the cosmic dust is beginning to settle. On an aesthetic and energetic level, the Taurus sun is partial to settled dust (Taurus sun natives will tell you that if there is dust to be kicked up, THEY will be doing it THEMSELVES thank you very much), and so we have an opportunity in the month ahead to cultivate deeper presence and peace of mind. With the benefit of hindsight, events of the past few weeks can be examined from a less combative headspace. We need this desperately. We need to slow way down. However, the Taurus sun answers to Venus, which remains in dynamic Aries for the next ten days. Its influence causes our desires to feel especially pressing and makes our impulse to satisfy them seem especially urgent. After Venus enters Taurus on April 30, the sweetness of the season can take over in earnest. We may suddenly become more attuned to our environments, observing spring blooms or animal activity.
