Magic Chess (before updates)

So I have been doing quite a few Tanks Plays. Mostly Guardian but also Targeman, because Tigreal is real Hacks. 

I also saw someone use Gatokaca with 2 Concentrated Energy and 1 Enchanted Talisman. He was pretty much last man standing with Full HP. Aas soon as he activated his Skill it was 1 jump = dmg + full HP (I can say he used his skill quite many times with that combo of items).

I have a really hard time using Dragons Altar to be honest. I remember I used it in the beginning of Magic Chess, but later on I kept losing with it. Then I see other players rocking with it. So I must be doing something wrong. But it is really cool when you make it works. Your team is full of dmg and shield, pretty undeadly. 

Combo of Empire and Cyborg, is just pushing with the mega tanky heroes on board. Cyborg adding 6k HP is really hacks. But after the updates it is only 2k and 4k hp and 1.5k for other heroes. 

Basically if you decided to go with tanky team, make sure you at least have 1 or 2 strong dmg dealer and place them on a good spot, so they don’t get killed early on. 

The last game, ended up like that because I just couldn’t think anymore and I was half trolling and I wasn’t expecting a win. It became a 5 tanks Team. Ouff for fun facts the rest of the players had mostly Physical Damage, which made me a strong opponent to face. Also only 1 team had Abyss (reduce Pdef.). Is this combo and synergy viable? Probably not. It was pure luck, but it was super fun. Every single face off made me nervous, but it was quite hilarious when you see they only hit your Tanks so I basically only had Zilong to deal damage. 

Guardian - Akai + Minotaur + Belerick (P. def)

Targeman - Tigreal + Baxia (Shield)

Monastery of Light - Rafaela + Alucard (M. def)

Support - Rafaela (P&M Def. + Buff)

Dragons Altar - Akai + Zilong + Baxia (Shield)

Fighter - Zilong + Alucard + Argus (HP Recovery) 

So for Magic opponents you want to get Monastery of Light (raise Mdef. by 80 on all heroes). Anti Physical Damage, you just need to get Guardian or Targemen and Support (sad thing it got removed, it added both 15% damage and 20% P&M Def. and heal by the actual hero). Anyone else miss Kaja from Chess TD? :<

On another note I am back to Epic Tier (solo). It was fun doing Grandmaster Rank. Somehow this rank isn’t as bad as everyone says they are. I mean most of them are real quick to back up on team fight. Or at least they do follow the tank (haha) I mainly used Gatot and Support Roles like Rafa/Nana/Ruby. My friend did Solo Ranking too using only Gord she is also back on Epic again.

MAGIC CHESS

So how is everyone doing in Magic Chess? Although I have grasp a bit on how to build my team fast and I am getting better at it, but most of the time it is still at bumpy ride. The most uncertain factor is you can’t always get what you want to get. I have a favourite set up but I could get trashed over before I get there.

I do win and I do get top 3 fairly often but I still can’t get a 100% Winstreak. It is like I win some and I lose some. 

But  currently my most favourite Synergy is Guardian, which are Diggie, Akai, Belerick and Minotaur. But Minotaur is pretty rare, so I don’t always use him in my set up. 

To pair up with this Synergy I always get Chou to match with Diggie for the Eruditio (coins gain). Due to having Diggie, I would also love to get the remaning for Summoner, Zhask is easy to get while Vexana and Sun is harder. Sometimes I get 4 or sometimes just 2.

To help Zhask I would normally also get Martis to activate Celestial Synergy and very rare for Karrie and Gatot is just hard to get. If I ever get Karrie I wanted to say I would at least get the Marksman line up but I totally didn’t get her in any of the screenshot here (haha).

I also like to complete the Wrestler Synergy by adding 1 more compatible mate for Chou or just get the Synergy item when picking in Fate Box or Creep Round. 

Guardian Synergy is also great if you can mix with a Marksman Synergy or Elemental Synergy, I also tried it with 4 Undead Synergy. 

If you happen to get Minotaur you can match it with the Western Desert, with Claude you can match him with Chou (for Eruditio) and complete with at least 3 or 6 more Marksmen (there are Synergy Item too).

If you have Belerick you can match it with the Elf Synergy. If you have Akai you can do it with Dragon Altar Synergy. You maybe get what I am saying, Guardian gives you a wide selection on how to build your team. Also they are really tanky, and if you give them the right item they can deal quite a bit damage too, although most of them are Tank Heroes. 

But as of right now I really enjoy Guardian + Summoner + Eruditio Synergy. In the beginning you might lost some rounds, due to them being slow in damage. But once you hang onto the early mid or mid game you will get it rolling. The specific heroes I get are Diggie, Akai, Belerick, Zhask, Vexana and Sun, compatible adds are Chou and Martis (8 heroes in total). Now if you happen to get the +1 slot, the remaining 2 heroes are just randomly picked either compatible or non-compatible, it doesn’t really matter.

So basically I hang onto life with not upgrading my Slot, I let it be 4/4 until it upgrade itself to 5/5. So during that time I just try to work with whatever combo I can, also slowly collecting and reselling the heroes. So once after the Fate Box I believe I will start to win some. Also it is great to not be like the number 1 winning Player, due to landing at a better spot for picking a good Item. 

It is also important to get to 20 Coins for the interest. Now if your lineup is good and you can stand a fight just, focus on re-rolling to get yourself 2 stars or 3 stars heroes. Only when you are losing too much start to sacrifice some coins to upgrade your Slot. 

Now I do lose with this combo, it is not a 100% perfect Victory or Winstreak, but it is a great combo.
