ALICE DYER, MY ABSOLUTELY BELOVED!!! Kick Sam to the curb, I could treat you right!!! I appreciate your incessant need to joke, especially at inappropriate times!!! I think the way I draw Alice is pretty different from how other people see her, but I had a really clear image of her since episode one and I will stand my ground 💪💪 I tried to capture the look of hair that has been dyed a million times even though the first color never really washed out, but my details are always getting lost in the shadows :[

My commission are opennnnn as always! I do commissions in Medibang because it works better with my laptop and improves my workflow, but I’m open to doing textured stuff like this in Krita is you’re willing to pay like $5 extra. We can work things out 👍

something about how the OIAR is trying to be different/more modern/more put together than the magnus institute they destroyed, even though they’re essentially the same. avatars vs “externals”. named entities vs “powers”. day job vs night job. statements vs cases. archiving vs filing. paper vs computer files. tape recorders vs cctv. tea vs coffee.

the only different is that the institute was trying to stop the Fears while the OIAR is trying to keep them under wraps!! they can try to pretend they’re doing it better and safer and less “involved” than the magnus institute but at the end of the day they’re just as bad!!! if not worse!!!

I've been quietly working in the background on a bunch of these little illustrations to flesh out my sticker catalogue for when I evetually get around to selling them... one day... And the most recent project of these I took on was inspired by The Magnus Protocol! It's a horror/mystery podcast currently airing weekly (and as of today has started the second act of Season 2!!!) The other drawings I've done for this project have been the main cast who are all relatively human, while this guy's been sitting on the end of my to-do list, looking all... bonzo. I've been DYING to finally render him: Mr. Bonzo. Just yearning to get into and draw all his disgusting nooks and crannies.

Haven't been doing any print work as of recent, mostly because I've wanted to be working on stuff like this, as well as my comic project, though the latter has been kinda in the background recently for no particular reason. Maybe just because it's getting increasingly bigger and it's my first time doing something so big and it's getting intimidating. I haven't even finished the first draft! Now that this MAGP stuff is done I hope to dedicate more time to writing it. But even from where I am, it's looking like it'll last for the rest of the year doing everything else... Yay?

at first i thought that sam fusing with the archivist would be a fun idea but would never be canon but now im thinking about it and. guys. the sheer amount of transmutation casements this season. the fact that you come out of the rift starving. transmutation forming the basis of alchemy. "some of him". the fact that the redcanary casement which is clearly supposed to make you think of sam was specifically filed as transmutation (of the eyes, no less). guys it might actually have a chance of happening

This most recent episode of tmp killed me. Alice is probably my favorite character in either series now, and I've been waiting for alt Alice to appear, but WTF!!!! !!! !!

Billie Hindle did an absolutely wonderful job again as alt Alice, that sad " don't go" at the end genuinely broke my heart.

It was genuinely so fucking good, but if I have to hear about a dead version of Alice I'll cry, istg Alex 😭.

10/10 TMP 39, will 1000% be listening again.
