Udaipur witnessed high tension on Monday as property disputes overshadowed the traditional rituals of anointing Vishvaraj Singh Mewar as the titular head of the historic Mewar dynasty. The scion of Maharana Pratap’s lineage, Vishvaraj Singh, also a BJP MLA, faced resistance from his uncle, Arvind Singh Mewar, and cousin, Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, who allegedly blocked his entry to the City Palace and Eklingnath Ji Temple. Conflict Over Access Vishvaraj Singh, recently anointed at Chittorgarh Fort following the demise of his father, Mahendra Singh Mewar, sought to perform key rituals, including prayers at a sacred fire, or dhuni, within the City Palace premises. However, entry was denied, leading to a standoff that escalated into violent protests outside the palace late at night. In response, the district administration appointed a receiver to oversee the disputed portion of the palace. Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute’s School of Pharmacy inaugurated a 5 days National Pharmacy Week at its premises.

National Pharmacy Week is a 5-day event where reputed Pharma professionals and educationists will share valuable insights with our students.

They will discuss the latest R&D happening in the Pharmacy world.  

On the 1st day, Dr Mata Prasad Chief Guest & CQM Jubilant Chemicals Ltd along with the Dean Dr Mahendra Rana briefed students about the latest R & D happening in the Pharmacy world.

Senior Officials from reputed companies like Ranbaxy, DRL, Cipla etc., along with over a dozen Pharmacy educationists will take part in the 5 day function.

In addition, we will raise awareness about health by organizing a poster making competition, model making activities, and street plays to emphasize the significance of good health and effective treatment.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, Keynote Speaker Dr. Mata Prasad & Dr Mahendra Rana of Kumaun University inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

The VC, Dr Krishna Kant Dave, & the Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey joined them to unveil the 5 day long Pharmacy function.

Dr. Mahendra Rana, a renowned scientist and dean of the School of Biomedical Sciences at Kumaun University Nainital, has announced that Indian pharmaceutical scientists have made significant advancements in research and development.

They have successfully developed cures for Parkinson’s disease, cancer, and many other ailments.

These innovations have brought about revolutionary changes in the global medical field.  

The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, VC Dr Krishna Kant Dave, Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey & the Dean Dr Om Prakash Gosai also addressed the Pharmacy week seminar.

Those present included the Academic Dean Dr Rajesh Singh, Pharmacy Deans Dr Ashwini Saxena & Dr Dheeraj Dubey, Dr Mohit Shrivastava, Dr Aditya Sharma, Dr Pankaj, Nitin, Farman, Ashwini Gupta & Manju Rani.

In a rude shock to many as many as 37 ministers have been dropped from the government in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s third term and these include seven with cabinet rank — prominent among them being Smriti Irani, Anurag Thakur and Narayan Rane.

Parshottam Rupala, Arjun Munda, RK Singh and Mahendra Natha Pandey also held cabinet positions in the second Modi government but were not retained in the council of ministers that took oath on Sunday

While all three ministers with independent charge have been retained, out of 42 ministers of state, 30 have been dropped.

Those who have not been repeated include VK Singh, Faggansingh Kulaste, Ashwini Choubey, Danve Raosaheb Dadarao, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, Sanjeev Balyan, Rajeev Chandrashekhar, Subhas Sarkar, Nisith Pramanik, Rajkumar Ranjan Singh and Pratima Bhoumik.

Meenakshi Lekhi, Munjapara Mahendrabhai, Ajay Kumar Mishra, Kailash Choudhary, Kapil Moreshwar Patil, Bharati Pravin Pawar, Kaushal Kishore, Bhagwanth Khubha and V Muraleedharan have also not been retained.

Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, John Barla, Bishweswar Tudu, Bhagwat Kishanrao Karad, Devusinh Chauhan, Ajay Bhatt, A Narayanaswamy, Som Parkash, Rameswar Teli and Darshana Vikram Jardosh have also not made it to the new council of ministers.

Eighteen of the dropped ministers had lost the elections. L Murugan is the only minister of state from the previous government who lost the election but has been retained. He is already a member of the Rajya Sabha.

Smriti Irani, a cabinet minister in both terms of the Modi government, lost the election from Amethi to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s aide Kishori Lal Sharma by a margin of over 1.69 lakh votes.

Irani was HRD Minister and textiles minister in the first term while she held women and child development and minority affairs portfolios in Modi 2.0.

Shri Venkateshwara University celebrated its 10th Convocation with great enthusiasm and excitement. 

Shri Venkateshwara University organized its 10th Convocation function with full grandeur & fervour.

1631 UG, PG & PhD students received their degrees, while 24 achievers received gold medals, 23 won silver & 2 top performers were felicitated with the Chancellor’s medal.

The UP Govt. Sugarcane & Sugar Industries Minister Mr. Sanjay Singh Gangwar, MP Mr. Kanwar Singh Tanwar, the Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri & the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

Former President AIU Dr DS Chauhan, Chairman HIIMS Acharya Dr Manish, & the VC Dr Krishna Kant Dave joined them to unveil the 10th Convocation function ceremony.

The NCC cadets, along with the 28th battalion recruits of PAC, saluted the dignitaries while the band played the national anthem.  

Mr. Sanjay Singh Gangwar, the Minister of Sugarcane and Sugar Industries in the UP Govt, urged students to bring those who have been left behind into the mainstream of development in order for India to become a world leader.

We can achieve this by spreading the light of education to all.

MP Mr. Karan Singh Tanwar emphasized that education is the backbone of any nation’s development.

Let us ensure that nobody is uneducated in the country.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri congratulated all the brilliant achievers on receiving their degrees.

On this occasion we unveiled the University song & launched the university magazine–Srajan.

We distributed free books to the students of Kasturba Gandhi Primary school & along with district administration gifted kits to 120 Angawadi workers.
