Today I realised the last time I was in Blackpool was 2004. I took my Dad,Mum and some friends visiting from the Caribbean on a day trip. Both my parents are no longer with me, yesterday would have been my Mums birthday hence why I took our little girls to see the Illuminations. My Mum use to take me as a child, then my older daughter when she was a child. Sadly my Mum never got to take Zara and Maiya.
