This is the Omegatrix version of Malware called upgrade (because I am not creative). He's a lot more friendly and is basically quinns partner due to quinn sacrificing his galvanic mechmorph transformation to make him whole, and in this case he did even more than that.

He is forever grateful and trys to help quinn whenever he can.

This was made by a friend on discord, so hope ya like it, might redo it though

An Au that me and some friends were working on! Alien Scramble! Basically, some characters are born as different species. (Max, Xylene and Rook stay the same in terms of main characters, but for story reasons). @plazmasix @strawberryartgallery

Ben is a second generation Mechamorph who befriends Malware. Malware is begrudging at first, but soon comes to enjoy Ben's company. Ben gets the Omnitrix after sneaking into Azmuth's lab and absorbing it into his body. Gwen is a Petrosapien Anodite hybrid who is training under Tetrax. She travels the universe with Tetrax, as he continues his bounty hunter work. She is still learning how to use mana as a Petrosapien. Kevin (or BlocKev) is a Segmentasapien who was more aggressive on his homeworld. Due to the nature of Segmentasapiens, who hide from enemies by blending into their planet, they found his behavior dangerous and unruly. They kicked him out, and he travels from planet to planet, looking for a quick buck. All three of them cross paths, and all of them become sort of a found family. That's the basic premise, anyways.

#malware #malware ben 10 #aether #oc #ben 10 oc #ben 10 #oc x canon #fanart #i also literally have a headcold #so since i'm plagued with human malware i might as well pay tribute to the character malware as well #also i know i did the same fucking border thing i did with them the last time but shhhh this time i gave it narrative purpose #sent this one to my group chat and as always had to guess if this was ben 10 related (they were right)#immediately clocked as gay don't know if it's just track record or something specifically in the image but #verrry accurate #i like hand emotions they are so fun #i was gonna say 'as always' as if i've more consistently drawn them but 'as i have started doing' is more accurate #as i have started doing (don't know if this is accurate) but i make mal's hand emotions kinda more blatant than aether's #his face or rather optic ring isn't NOT expressive but he defaults to anger a lot- his hands are easier to read #mostly because of the veiled threat of bared claws or when those claws relax- or rn when those claws turn inward #ball into a fist with all the desire TO touch yet filled with the heightened urge to PREVENT touch #terrified that if he clings on to dear bloody life- sticks his claws in with all the want and need for contact mal is starved of #that it'll be his worst mistake #in comparison i made aether's hand emotions less emotive- this is where the 'don't know if that's right' comes in #instead of flinching into a retreat like i made him do in the previous art his hand just flattens into the non-descript surface #mal already having fled from his already loose 'grasp' that he doesn't need to back off much #rather he keeps his hand nearby- not holding out impatiently waiting for their 'moment' to come back #but sitting with mal and still being close enough that if he's still in the mood he can just- place his hand next to his #maybe the touching is over and that's okay- aether isn't 'waiting on the perfect scene'- he's giving him space #and THAT makes it a 'perfect moment' because :P #or whatever that's the intended hand language

Here's the next two pages, I really liked Julie's outfit in OV so I kept that with UAF hair. And honestly my brain chemistry was altered entirely when someone pointed out that Gwen projects a lot of her relationship issues onto Ben, so I have her venting as a precursor to it.

Honestly Ben does get ignored a lot when he thinks something's wrong with the watch in the show, unless the watch is actively fucking shit up for others, and like he's not gonna vent about legitimate fears to anyone.

Nightmare sequence my BELOVED. Easily one of my favorite drawings so far.

Here is some Omegatrix Malware art aka Upgrade, here are some cool facts on him.

He has a assistant called Orbo

He takes care of Galvan-B and is the main person who makes sure Galvan Prime is protected, he passes that job on to Orbo later

He becomes Quinn"s partner and helps him out a lot or as much as he can

He can and has copied many kinds of tech that they encounter, i will make a list later

he is a lot more cheerful and loves to hang out with ship
