I don't know why I keep struggling so much with basic life stuff, and keep fighting my brain when some people know exactly what they want, go after it and live happily with social connections, life pursuits and health. Some girl from my batch is already a lawyer . I didn't know that was possible. Some guy is currently on a trip around Manali. My best friend, who is from a family like mine, is a software engineer and is slowly levelling up financially. I don't even know how to describe my job. why

Summit Stories
So this is the story about how I completed my first ever Himalayan trek. The first of many himalayan trek yet to come.
I started planning for this trek only when my cousin asked me to come with her and her friends on 12th May 2024 because I was talking about how I really wanted to go to Manali. I was hesitant at first because it was starting on 26 May only 2 weeks from then. I quickly decided that I was going to the trek and all alone, I did not ask many of my friends because they were still busy in giving silly exams. I knew if I did not seize this chance I would regret it. So, on the day of the start of the trip at the railway station I was very nervous because I am shy and find it hard to make friends with strangers. Then in just a few minutes there I was sitting on the coach of a train with 20 strangers and already started vibing with all of them. The first two days went travelling as we travelled from Pune to Delhi. Spent the day at a waterpark where we had way too much fun and then we truly got to know each other and realised how awesome the next 10 days were going to be because we were already acting like we knew each other all out lives. We took a bus from Delhi to Manali and reached Manali at around 8am. After freshening up and having our dinner we went for a nice walk around the hills, wandering around the main road of Naggar, a small town near main Manali. At night we were served with delicious Pav Bhaji and Gulab Jamuns and we gulped all of it since we were very tired and hungry because of the walking. We packed our bags for the next day as it was the day we were starting our main trek from base camp to camp number 1. The next day we started trekking and for the first time while trekking I wanted to go ahead of everyone else like it was a race even though it was not. That was the time I got some time alone to myself as some people were yet to catch up and I looked down to only see green trees, when I looked up there were only dark clouds hinting for possible pouring down. It was the most beautiful scene I had ever seen, that moment was magical, my heart was pumping fast and I could hear its beats up to my ears.
After reaching the camp we drank some nice orange juice and quickly chose our tents, after putting our bags in the tent we went to collect wood for campfire that was supposed to take place at night. At night after dinner we gathered around the campfire sharing horror stories and gossip about each others' life which we termed "tea". Then we started singing songs and it was an absolutely ethereal moment. The next day was also quite tough as we started trekking to camp 2 this time with rain pouring torrentially. We wore our raincoats and me with 3 of my friends started walking faster to reach there ASAP. On our way there we started revising the periodic table for some reason I still am not aware of (classic Science student moment I guess). This time also with the aim of reaching ahead of everyone I got ahead of the rest of the pack and got engrossed up in my own thoughts. It felt like I was in a different dimension entirely, just a different entity from every other living thing on planet Earth at that particular moment. It felt like after 2 years of constant struggle and frustration I was finally free, able to feel the peace that I manifested of when I was giving my toughest exams. We had to stop because it started raining cats and dogs later on again. Somehow after reaching the camp. We enjoyed a few glasses of orange juice and the climate up there was really cold. The tents were being set up so we were their covered with sleeping bags and stuck to each other's bodies for warmth. After we got into the tents we all slept and woke up after approximately 30 mins. We gathered up to collect woods again. Again, after dinner we played our favourite songs on the speaker and a special song "A sky full of stars" was being played every night, it was better than the entire concert because we had a sky full of stars above our heads and there was no lie. The next 2 days were going to be even tougher as we were going to practice the summit and the summit. The next whole day we spent trekking and after coming back had Maggi and slept ASAP with some fun here and there.
Now comes the best day, the summit - it all started really rough as we were already 30 minutes late which meant that because of bad weather conditions we would be delayed by almost 2 hour on our return journey. As we started climbing because of the drop in oxygen levels and pressure, it was getting harder to breathe and we were taking longer breaks. Again character-wise I got ahead of the pack and was rushing towards the summit but everytime I felt like I was almost there, a long mountain range would become visible, this time they were of snow, finally, what we were dying to see for a week was visible. It was only after we walking in snow that we realised how difficult it actually was to walk in snow. We were on the verge of giving up and to worsen the situation there were darker clouds hovering over our heads, almost on the top of the snow mountain, there were snow clouds, not rain, but snow, somehow our instructors gathered courage to take a whole batch of 24 people on the top knowing the risk. Reaching the summit I was SHOCKED, I was numb not being able to feel my hands, my nose was red, my ears were covered with cotton balls and my head was spinning, I was the 2nd person to reach the summit only behind a guy who had already done it once. At that moment I hugged my friends who were all crying, for some reason, I was not able to comprehend the emotions I was feeling at that time, my heart felt heavy, reaching the Bhrigu lake we requested the tour guides to let us drink the water, we did drink it, it did not taste any different but it was something I wanted to experience. I have longed to be in that moment again for the better part of a year now, I felt free for the first time in my life then.
Now, the real trouble started as a snow storm started coming in our direction, it was twice as difficult to climb down than it was to climb up. It did not help that we were out of food and water, the only thing keeping us going was adrenaline and some of the food that we had in the morning, we climbed down taking our time and were back by 6:00 pm. We quickly had our dinner and slept as it had been a very hectic day and we had to climb to the base the very next day. The next day was the same we climbed down, visited a temple and came back to our base camp, freshening up and went to have dinner in Naggar's restaurant. After that we finished up our repacking for the bus journey the next day. We did rafting which was the second most fun experience on that trip. After that we only started to get sadder as we were about to be seperated. When we sat in the train from Delhi, we were all very sad as this beautiful trip was coming to an end. It did not help that while we were in the train, it was being delayed slowly and it got delayed by 12 hours!!! We reached at Pune station at 1am night. It was then I finally got to know why we like going on vacations so much, it is not the destination, not the journey either, but the company that we keep, it is always the people. I am glad that I went on that trek alone without any friends but I was coming back with a box full of memories and people to remember for life!!!!

FFXIV Healer Glamour: "The Crimson Scholar"
The way she fights intrigues me. It's not like I was just watching her or anything! Not just, anyway... I think being able to rely on another's physical strength would serve me well. And it's not as though summoning a battle partner is unfamiliar to me, but I need to know more before attempting it with a voidsent. I've returned to Lapis Manalis to— Wait, what's that further in?
Lesser voidsent, but not something I can just brush aside, either. Though the battle becomes rather frantic at times, between Eos and my shields I pull through. Not that I find any sign of a voidgate, or any clues as to the actual methods involved in the voidsent pact. Time for a visit to the library.
I've been looking through these stacks for hours with little to show for it. I shouldn't be surprised. My impression of Idyllshire is that it was chaotic even before the Sharlayans abandoned it. Years of looting and the monsters that overrun Gubal on occasion have done it few favors. I'll have to go further in.
I can feel voidsent from here. Come out, Eos, we have work to do.
Minor voidsent, petty soulkin, and overgrown vilekin. They pose no real threat to me, but that doesn't mean I'll be showing them mercy. What if they damage the books?
Ah, precisely the manner of tome I was looking for. And it has been possessed by a voidsent and expanded to a massive size by the pressure of its æther. Of course. How else would my evening go?
I'm not teleporting back to Ala Mhigo with this thing. Lyse and Naago would make me go to bed and I don't want to put studying this tome off. I'll be making use of Narumi's house in Limsa Lominsa. I don't think she'll mind another book in the attic. Just a moment of rest before I unseal the tome and determine the state of it.
Well, that's better, but...
(Valena does her best to push herself to work through the night to answer her questions about the Garlean Reapers. In the end, she passes out on Narumi's sofa and has to accept defeat and go to bed in the room she still keeps in her friend's house - the very rare event of sleeping in a real bed without one of her girlfriends forcing her.)
(Tomorrow she will conclude the book is of no help, and leave it there for Narumi to deal with, instead planning to make a trip to Ul'dah to visit the Thaumaturges and see if they have any information on this unusual voidsent arrangement. However, a chance encounter in an alley behind Sapphire Avenue will lead her to much more direct answers.)
Went a lot more in depth with this story time. And though this is my headcanon for how Valena was introduced to the Reaper job, leveling Reaper was actually one of the first things I did in Endwalker, and I had the "similar to the reaper arts you wield" lines in my cutscenes.
As for the glam itself, it has gone through multiple versions, and I've worn some variation of it since... around level 65, since my oldest screenshots are from during Azim Steppe MSQ.
And as I said in the EC post, the name was mostly a reference to Maoyū: Maō Yūsha, so even though I do mostly wear it on SCH, it is an all-healer glam.
The prior incarnation of the look.
The oldest clear shot I have of the general look, during a pre-EW Prae run.

TOP 10 TOURIST PLACES TO VISIT IN INDIA

India, renowned for the enormous number of tourist destinations spread over its vast territory, is a melting pot of cultures, natural beauty, adventurous activities, and stunning beaches.
If you are planning a trip to the country, you should not miss the following locations (well, at least not all of them). We have covered all of our favourites, from hill stations to beaches to cities, highlighting the culture and much more in order for you to enjoy the finest of India's tourism.
AGRA
Agra is one of the most visited cities in India due to its abundance of historical sites. The Taj Mahal, one of the world's most renowned structures, is, of course, at the top of this list of Agra attractions.
Along with the Agra Fort, Akbar's Tomb, and Fatehpur Sikri, this marble-clad structure is a stunning example of Mughal architecture. Also a terrific place to feast on delicious Mughlai cuisine.
GOA
With 51 beaches along its coastline, Goa is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India. Its white sand beaches, palm trees, low tax rate, wonderful coastal food, and laid-back demeanour make it a fantastic tourist destination in India.
Winter is the greatest season to visit this location because the weather is ideal (though this is when it can get expensive, too). In addition to the beach, the city's nightlife is not to be missed.
AMRITSAR
Amritsar, founded by Guru Ram Das in 1577, is regarded as the spiritual capital of Sikhism. The Golden Temple, the holiest gurudwara of the Sikh religion, is located in the heart of the old city. Locals refer to it as Harmandir Sahib Gurudwara.
The Akal Takhat and Mata temples are among well-known attractions in this city. Lassi and chicken tikka are two excellent dishes to sample in Amritsar.
SHIMLA
Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, is one of India's most renowned hill stations. With the Town Hall at its centre and a magnificent view of the Himalayas, this location attracts a large number of tourists.
Visit the Viceregal Lodge, Christ Church, and Gorton Castle to discover Shimla's true heritage. The snowy mountains and small lanes are worth watching and exploring throughout the winter months.
MUNNAR
Munnar, located in Kerala's Western Ghats, is one of the most tranquil and picturesque tourist destinations in India. The hill station features exceptional natural beauty in the form of rolling hills, picturesque valleys, virgin forests, waterfalls, streams, national parks, tea and spice plantations, and meandering pathways.
However, it is Munnar's unmistakable colonial beauty that attracts travellers time and time again. There are many churches, English colonial bungalows and cottages, and other structures in the hill station, which was a popular vacation destination for the British.
COORG
Coorg or Kodagu, which is surrounded by gorgeous mountain ranges and boasts a lush green terrain, is yet another clichéd holiday spot that lives up to the reputation. This hill station in the Indian state of Karnataka is a favourite weekend destination for nature enthusiasts and those in search of solitude. Coorg's allure is unparalleled, from its verdant hills and sparkling streams to its quaint villages and expansive coffee and spice farms.
Since Coorg enjoys beautiful weather throughout the year, it is a popular destination for Bangalore residents seeking to escape the chaos of the city.
OOTY
Udhagamandalam, usually referred to as Ooty, is a hill station in Tamil Nadu. The mild climate, the view of India's Western Ghats, and the tranquil environment make this a wonderful vacation spot for families and friends.
It is renowned for its tea plantations, lush gardens, bungalows from the British era, and spicy cuisine. During the summer holidays, when many families spend a week or two here, the area is typically congested. Once a little town, Ooty is now a bustling tourist destination with year-round activity.
MANALI
Manali, located in the Kullu Valley of Himachal Pradesh, attracts visitors with its natural beauty and serenity. The hill station is popular by tourists from across the nation, particularly during the summer months when cities swelter in the searing heat.
The hill station's beauty is enhanced by snow-capped mountains, dense forests, riverine valleys, and beautiful streams, making it one of the most popular holiday destinations in India. Manali also features a magnificent blend of rich cultural past and modernization, which is another of its many endearing characteristics. In addition to enjoying the tranquilly and natural beauty of the area, you can indulge in exhilarating adventure activities.

Throttle Through the Himalayas: Manali Trip from Delhi
If adventure had a destination, it would be Ladakh. And if it had a route, it’d throttle through Manali. The Manali Leh Srinagar bike trip is not just a ride, it's a rite of passage for the wild-hearted. With engines roaring, snow-kissed passes awaiting, and valleys echoing with freedom, this 11-day, 1560-kilometre beast of a journey is a dream woven into the asphalt of the Himalayas.
Srinagar Trip from Delhi: The Final Frontier Begins Here
The journey kicks off from Kashmiri Gate or Majnu Ka Tila in Delhi, where city chaos meets the calm anticipation of adventure. You’ll board an overnight bus headed for Manali with fellow thrill-seekers. While this part of the Srinagar trip from Delhi doesn’t require a throttle, the excitement already hums like a revving engine. Pass through Chandigarh and Kullu Valley under the blanket of a moonlit sky, setting the mood for the mountain madness ahead.
Leh Ladakh Trip from Delhi: Through Snow, Sand, and Soul
Manali greets you like an old friend—cool, scenic, and slightly smug about being your launching pad. After local explorations and altitude adjustments, the real adventure begins. You’ll throttle through the Atal Tunnel to Jispa, kiss the Baralacha Pass, and flirt with the twin lakes—Suraj Tal and Deepak Tal. This part of your Leh Ladakh trip from Delhi is where the terrain gets tough and your spirit gets tested.
The surreal continues as you conquer Tanglang La, one of the highest motorable passes on Earth. By the time you roll into Leh, you’re not just riding a bike anymore—you’re riding history, geography, and poetry combined.
Manali Trip from Delhi: The Heart of the Ride
The thrill of a Manali trip from Delhi isn’t just in reaching Ladakh—it's in how you get there. Take on Khardung La to reach Nubra Valley, cross the Shyok River's arid charm, and explore Turtuk and Thang—the last village before the Indo-Pak border. You’ll sip chai at the Northernmost Café of India and watch the Indian Army stand tall at the edge of our nation.
You’ll ride camels with two humps and snap photos of sand dunes sitting pretty next to snowcaps. Ride to Pangong Lake, where Bollywood met the Himalayas, and let the icy-blue stillness seep into your bones.
Manali Trip Package from Delhi: What You Get for the Grind
Every great journey needs great support, and the Manali trip package from Delhi delivers:

The Road to Soul: Where Throttle Meets Thought
This isn't just a checklist trip—it’s a journey that unravels your very wiring. From Delhi’s din to Srinagar’s serene embrace, this trail transforms riders into warriors of the wind. The Manali Leh Srinagar bike trip from Delhi, from its first honk to its last goodbye, becomes a living story—one that wraps around your heart like a serpentine mountain pass.
If you've ever craved a ride that breaks you down and builds you up—all under the wild skies of the Himalayas—this is it. So zip up that jacket, strap on your helmet, and throttle into your next unforgettable chapter.
Because the mountains are calling—and they speak fluent RPM.
