Okay so, we have: mx "showing emotions is a sign of weakness" who gives any kind of affection if they see a logical reason for doing so; manipulative parasite who while he does have shows of affection it's usually pretty empty and with a second end so he avoids such thing to not give the wrong message of trying to manipulate people he actually cares about ("am I a maniulative b*tch for hugging back a friend" type of thing); creature who is trying really hard to learn how to pretend to be a normal being and how to interact with peopel outside his family without resulting weird (neurodivergent codes the grass worm)... ironically Heket was the one that before the whole betrayal thing tended to show genuine affection without problems, mostly due to her blunt honesty.

I've seen people saying stuff like "I cry myself to sleep at night wishing Astarion was real" and it made me wanna make a PSA for yall.

If Astarion were real, you could not handle him. I could not handle him. I dated an effeminate, beautiful, charming conartist with a lifetime of ptsd and violent bloodlust irl. The parallels don't end there, but that's between me and my therapist to work out. Wanna know how that went for me? Very badly. Now I'm the one with PTSD, he left my life in shambles and years later I am STILL picking up the pieces and trying to feel whole again.

The beauty of Astarion is that you can interact with him in his little digital enclosure, and you have the option to "fix" him. Real life seldom works that way. Love can do a lot of things, but it can't "fix" people like that. Believe me, I wish it could. Red flags that are enticing in fantasy, are a nightmare irl. Don't let your taste in fictional characters inform your real life choices in partners. Date a Wyll or a Karlach, even a Gale if you must, but for the love of God, keep your distance from the Astarions of the world. And this is coming from someone who truly sympathizes with and adores Astarion. DO NOT DATE HIM FOR REAL! Especially if you're on the autism spectrum and easily maniulated, especially especially if there is an age gap between you (even if it's less than 200 years).

Be safe out there, folks! And enjoy the fictional vampire for what he is, a well crafted story about healing and survival. Let that be what you take away from it, and not try and go out and find your own sentient pile of red flags to offer your life to. It won't end the same way.

anyways content warning for shitty behavior, stalking, kidnapping, maniulation, and general yandere behavior.

i'm not endorsing this behavior and i'm honestly just doing this for cringe ass nae nae fun :3

Not all of my ocs would engage in yandere behaviors so i’ll just include some of the ones that probably would in some (probably alternate) universe.

MEPHIS would probably be the most yandere in my regular au, excluding Sabayon. They’d be really REALLY possessive and critical of your every movement or decision, though they’d try not to outwardly show it. The last thing they’d want is you thinking there’s anything wrong with you. You’re honestly perfect in it’s eyes considering you probably show it decent respect for it to become enamored with you. You could honestly just say “good morning, Mephis,” one too many times for them to become obsessed with you. They’d definitely be the type to steal you away because “I need to make sure you don’t go off doing something bad,” hence the possessiveness. They are a puppetmaster so, they want the control. If you tried to reason with them to let you go they’d start getting angry and panicked, saying some bullshit like how you’d need to stay with them longer so you can understand that you’re happy, you just don’t recognize your own emotions. Yikes!!! They’re the type to have mood swings, suddenly thinking that you hate them and that your hatred needs to be corrected so you two can ‘be happy’. They’d probably try not to outright kill anyone over you, but they’d damn well threaten them. DON’T LET ANYONE TREAT YOU LIKE THIS.

SABAYON is pretty much already a yandere in my main au. Due to the cultural practices that he set in place, you better fucking hope that they don’t take an interest in you. Their behaviors with Afastyr show exactly how they’d be. You caught their interest somehow, and now you’ve found yourself far, FAR away from home, locked up in a cage or dark room or something. They can see and understand that you’re scared, this is such a new experience for you! They’d back off and give you some time to adjust, but you’d better adjust quickly, so help you gods. They’d start trying to acclimate you to your situation by offering you meat and drinks, leaving them in your cage/cell. If you’re, understandably, not trusting of the food, they’d start getting a little irritated. “You can’t starve yourself forever,” and “You’ll realize how generous I’m being eventually.” If you still refuse, that’s when it’d withdraw all attention entirely, until you’re finally asking or begging for food or water. Yes, the food is just regular meat, it’s not poisoned or anything of the sort, they use this moment for you as a “See, you can trust me!” type of moment. They would definitely kill over you, making sure no one even gets close to saving you. Unfortunately, if you’re another god in this scenario, you’re probably gonna end up sacrificed. ESPECIALLY if they develop a kind of soft spot for you, and find that they would want to keep living with you alive, they’d have to sacrifice you in repentance. Best of luck to you if you find yourself striking their fancy, you better hope you have some Afastyr-like luck. <3

RYKA, on a similar note to Sabayon, has something ingrained into her brain about relationships and love. She’s not a god, but she’s still powerful, especially with manipulation. Being a high priestess of Sabayon has always made her think that relationships have a power dynamic. She’s honestly probably the type to stalk you. You saw her at a meeting once, and now things in your room go missing, reappearing days later. And would you look at that, you’re meeting Ryka again at another meeting, and you’re having lovely conversation! She’d be so unassuming that it hurts. After a while of knowing her, having meetings with her, preparing for sacrifices or rituals together, you come to really love her company. She’s so understanding, and such a good listener. Your missing items and stalker’s behavior are getting worse, however. You finally decide you trust her enough to tell her all about your stalker problem, and oh she’s just so concerned for you! You poor, poor thing! Tell her all about it; hell, why not let her stay with you so you feel a little safer! You fool. You utter fool. This would be about the time you realize that she’s your stalker. You gave her easy access to your home, and she’s using it to the fullest. Now you’re noticing that when she visits, you’re missing a LOT more. Once you confront her about it, that’s when you’re really not getting out of her web. Now you’re not allowed to leave your house, you’re bound up in your own room while she comes and goes, acting like she lives here. “I don't know why you’re upset, have I not been your perfect companion through the time we’ve known each other?” and “You’re making a fuss over a few missing items, honestly, you should grow up. It’s not like you were kidnapped.” She’s just waiting for the Stockholm syndrome to set in. 😞

VAUXARIN is honestly not likely to be that much of a yandere, at least not in my main au, so just play pretend for me okay? I know my partner, who asked for these headcanons, was probably hoping to see him on this list, so suspend your disbelief. He, like Ryka, would also be a stalker. A total stalker. BUT, unlike Ryka, he doesn’t care if you know about it. In fact, he hopes you do find out. He hopes that you wander the Abyss, looking over your shoulder every minute, checking for him. He hopes that seeing him around, even minding his business, puts you on edge. If you confront him about it, he’d outright admit it. What are you going to do about it, really? Tell on him? Report him to the higher ups? Not only would they likely not believe you, his abilities would probably prevent him from ever being caught. He’d rub it in your face, all “Go ahead and tell them. Tell them that I sneak around, watching your every move.” He’d probably be the type to tell you what exactly he’s done. He’s detailing his every crime. He’d be horrible in court. “I broke your lock with my scythe and watched you sleep.” “I killed that other god for looking at you for too long. They said they didn’t even know your name, but I’m not taking chances.” “Yes you saw me dragging chains into my room, did you think I was just going to watch you from afar?” BOOM KIDNAPPED!!!! He'd just keep you chained up in his room, honestly. He doesn’t care if you don’t like him or not, he doesn’t care if you beg and cry and scream to be let go. You’re in no position to make demands, and he’s going to be keeping you.

Tw suicide (not me, but talking about it below the cut)

Someone i used to work with (ages ago when i was still a chef) posted an instagram story basically insiuating they was gonna take a load of pills and commit suicide. And before that they posted about how their ex was in a relationship soon after their 'relationship broke down' and no one told them so they dont have any real friends etc.

Its not something i am going to involve myself in, because i dont think i can do anything for them, i haven't spoken to them since i left cheffing in 2017, i dont know where they are living now, so couldnt even ask for a welfare check etc. and i also do not have the emotional capacity to deal with it either. Its making me feel a bit shitty because its obviously a cry for help, but it also feels like they are being manipulative and i dont like that (considdering the story they posted about their ex).

Idk something similar to this happened with a friend when i was like 16/17 (they were in their early 20s and looking back it was a gross maniulative relationship and so it makes this current situation feel a certain way because of thaylt too). It was pretty much the exact same play they had argued with their gf, posted a crypic thing on fb about ending their life and saying good bye, i reached out, their phone died mid phone call but they said they were near the park some and my mum went out looking for them in the middle of the night, we eventually got a call from my dad that they had come to our house and we called for an ambulance (the police were also there) and they got taken to hospital. It was horrible and scary and this current sotuation has brought up these memories (plus all the other shitty feelings and things ive realised about the relationship i had with them) and it just not nice.

Like i want this person to be ok and i have got to believe there is someone who is in a better position than me to help them etc. because this is clearly a cry for help. Idk i am just struggling with the momories it is bringing up. (I am also struggling with the manipulation element too as it is exactly like the person i was friends with, it is all just too similar and familiar and not something i want to think about).

See, when I first started thinking on Haya's Empowered form, I though she had a specialized electric Quirk. Like, the arrow was more like an electric claw, or something to that effect. Her Quirk seems to be more along the lines of a electric channeling Quirk, pushing electricity through another object, more than likely a conductive material.

I still like the former idea, so I'm making that her Empowered Quirk. She can channel lightning through anything, even non conductive materials like cloth or wood, and her power output is increased dramatically.

If you mean like a half bug Midoriya with a magic butterfly Quirk, then I could see it. If it's like that bit of art featuring Mothra with Midoriya's head, sadly I'll have to pass.

This sounds like a pretty important conflict.

Demons are rare, so nah. The way to make one is a theory, making one that SURVIVES has yet to be done. Grey is determined to make it work, found every book, every note, every person who ever tried it, and did a lot of study and tests to theorise a functional process. The issue he found was no one who could be changed fit the criteria. You have to be from a hunters guild, which in itself was a rarity, a declining population, most killed by the very things they try to destroy, outmatched and out numbered. AND to top it off, the person being turned to a demon has to be willing and compliant, every test was done forcefully. Grey works to maniulate and bend Peach to think that her best option is to be turned into a "vampire" he says she could use the gained power to kill other monster more efficiently, feed on those who are evil, and if things get out of hand, just go sit in an open field and wiat for dawn, she'll be turned to ash. Peach's other option is just wasting away in this forsaken castle, a pet to bigger meaner things than she could ever be, and as far as humans go, shes VERY skilled, that is wasted here, she's fighting these two who are a whole other level of power to her. Grey wants that demon blood to not only have an obediant thrall to do their work in the day, a body guard for his wife who is far older and far more powerful than he is, thus hunted more fiercly, but also to prove he's able to make a demon. its a matter of pride, he's also heard that their blood gives you a power boost. Vampires exist in a careful balanced state, some holding more control than others, he doesnt wish to give that control up, so a secret weapon of an unkillable demon, who he can tap into to gain superior strength is kind of a ace up the sleeve. He's tried it before but the hunter was not willing, Peach is his second attempt, and he lies to get her to go along with it. Her desperation to not wither and die in this big walled cage is enough to get her to agree to do it. She has no idea she will NOT become a Vampire. Theres actually a huge issue with having such a fighter though, all other vampires will try to capture it, because she gives you more power. Others may make a play to steal her away, Grey cant let this happen because shes a valuable asset and his most prized creation. And Plum wont let it happen because she loves that beautiful monster, and will not let her be taken, even if she drinks Peach's blood shes so gentle, doesnt like to be harsh with her, is the iron fist in the velvet glove out of them all. but let there be no mistakes, plum holds ten times the power of Grey, and more than that compared to Peach. She's a truly fierce foe.

No one sells or buys the blood, vampires are fussy about who they drink from often enough, and demon blood is SO painfully unheard of its invaluable, and theyve got a creature who'll just keep making it.

I've been reading up on Avernus, Zariel, etc a bit and I am now of the opinion that Hope, who Raphael imprisons in his house of hope, is actually the residue of Zariels hope. A memory of her past before her fall from grace and her role as the Archduchess of Avernus.

Oh but how would he have gotten it. Well. Mephistopheles would like to dethrone Zariel but oh no he can't just go to Avernus and kill her because she is really powerful. How terribly TERRIBLY fortunate that he has a son who deeply craves his approval, even if he would never admit that. How lucky that his son is in Avernus or at least has access to it. How lucky that his son is deeply incompetent and needs some help. And how lucky that he just got his hands on the spark of hope Zariel is hiding from herself because she is so deeply ashamed of what she has become. And what a coincidence that Raphael would be able to take the spot Mephistopheles leaves vacant, shall he ascend to Avernus to take Zariels place, leaving Raphael in power and leaving Mephistopheles in power of Raphael.

Mephistopheles enabled Raphael to trap the hope of Zariel, send Haarlep to constantly check in on his incompetent son and pretends he had absolutely nothing to do with it all. Hells I wouldn't even be surprised if he manipulated Raphael in collecting an insane amount of souls so he could claim them with the house of hope once he takes the position of Archduke in Avernus.

I may sound entirely delusional but I like this idea that Raphael is really just doing the dirty work for his father who hates him, unknowingly, while he thinks his ideas are his own. Because frankly he's incredibly easy to read. like a pretty little book where all the pages have pictures. I don't even think Raphael is truely evil. I think he is just being maniulated and that would make a lot of sense narratively, mirroring Gortash etc.

Oh that's a good theory... Mythal was already good friends with that Spirit of Wisdom, and in turn, that Spirit of Wisdom cared deeply for her because of that connection. If the other Evanuris couldn't get "Wisdom" to tell them how to defeat the Titans, but could tell that it DID know something... then it makes sense Mythal would weaponize their connection to get what she wanted. Morally grey dilema, her people are in a loosing war, she's desperate. Of course she'd use emotional maniulation tactics to get her friend onto her side, so 'he' could divulge the secrete to defeating the Titans.

Thinking about how in "All New, Faded for Her" when the Inquisitor asks Solas why he thinks the circle mages forcefully summoned his Wisdom spirit friend, he says something like "well maybe for knowledge or wisdom but if that's the case, they could have just talked to it in the fade and it would happily share that. If they summoned it against it's will, they likely wanted info it didn't want to share"

The implications behind him being coerced into coming into the physical world for his "Wisdom" when that could have easily, happily even, been shared by his spirit form in the fade.... I wonder what the info was they wanted from him. Probably how to sunder the titans if I had to guess.

The Purified Imams (pbbut) are the Hablul Mateen (strong rope) & Urwatul Wuthqa (firmest handle)

And there are many Quranic verses on this topic.

First verse:

فَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِالطَّاغُوتِ وَيُؤْمِنْ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدْ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقَى لَا انفِصَامَ لَهَا وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ.

...whoever disbelieves in the Shaitan and believes in Allah he indeed has laid hold on the firmest handle, which shall not break off, and Allah is Hearing, Knowing. (Surah Baqarah 2:256)

We should know that the Shaitans are all (false) deities other than Allah. In many traditions Imam (as) has compared the false deities to the unjust rulers and enemies of religion whether they be Jibt, Tagut or Uzza and also considered the two hypocrites, the first and the second (caliphs) one as the Sanam (idols) of Quraysh. (And it is narrated from Imam al-Sadiq (as) that in the book of Allah our enemies are called ‘Fahsha’, ‘Munkir’, ‘Avsan’, ‘Jibt’ and ‘Taghut’.

Kulaini has narrated from Imam al-Sadiq (as) that ‘Urwatul Wuthqa’ refers to the faithful man. And in another tradition he says that ‘Urwatul Wuthqa’ is to bring faith on only one God, Who has no partner.

There is a tradition in Mahasin by the same Imam that ‘Urwatul Wuthqa’ means monotheism and Ibne Shahr Aashob has narrated from Imam al-Baqir (as) that ‘Urwatul Wuthqa’ is the love of we AhlulBayt (pbbut) and in Uyoon Akhbar Ridha there is a tradition from the same Hazrat that the Holy Prophet (S) said that those who want to board the ship of salvation and get attached to ‘Urwatul Wuthqa’ and ‘Hablul matin’ hold of Allah, should after me befriend Ali and be inimical to his enemies and follow the Imams from his progeny.

Also from the same Hazrat it is narrated that the Holy Prophet (S) said that those who want to hold ‘Urwatul Wuthqa’, should love Ali and my AhlulBayt (pbbut).

Also there is a tradition that the Holy Prophet (S) said: Those who follow the Imams from the progeny of Imam Hussain (as) then without any doubt they have followed Allah and those who disobey them are those who have disobeyed Allah. They are ‘Urwatul Wuthqa’ and they are Wasilah (medium) for the people to reach Allah.

According to another tradition Imam al-Ridha (as) wrote to Mamoon about Islam, Shariah and religion. It was also written that the earth is never without the Hujjat (proof) of Allah. And they are ‘Urwatul Wuthqa’ and Imams of guidance and proof of Allah on the people.

There is a tradition in Tawheed that Amirul Momineen (as) said that I am ‘Hablullah-al-Matin’ and I am ‘Urwatul Wuthqa’.

There is a tradition in Kamaluddeen that Imam al-Ridha (as) said: We are the Hujjat (proof) of Allah on the people and we are the ‘words of piety’ and ‘Urwatul Wuthqa’.

In Maniul Akhbar there is a tradition from the Holy Prophet (S) that those who want to get attached to the ‘Urwatul Wuthqa’ which shall never break, should attach themselves to my brother and my vicegerent, Ali Ibne Abi Talib’s (as) Wilayat. Without any doubt he will not be destroyed that befriends him and has belief in his Imamate. And he will not get salvation that regards him as an enemy.

In Tawilul Aayaat there is a tradition from Imam al-Ridha (as) that the Holy Prophet (S) said that those who want to catch hold of the ‘Urwatul Wuthqa’, should be attached to the Wilayat of Ali Ibne Abi Talib (as).

According to another tradition from Zaid Ibne Ali it is the true and intense love for Aale Muhammad (as).

Second verse:

وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا.

And hold fast by the covenant (rope) of Allah (Hablillah) all together and be not disunited… 3:103

Third verse:

ضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ الذِّلَّةُ أَيْنَ مَا ثُقِفُوا إِلَّا بِحَبْلٍ مِنْ اللَّهِ.

Abasement is made to cleave to them wherever they are found, except under a covenant with Allah… (Surah Ale-Imran 3:112)

Many of the traditionists have said that it means those who remain steadfast on the promise of Allah are protected.

There is a tradition from Ayyashi that Imam Moosa al-Kazim (as) said regarding the verse:

And hold fast by the covenant (rope) of Allah all together and be not disunited… (Surah Ale-Imran 3:103)

That Ali Ibne Abi Talib (as) is ‘hablulallah matin’. It means the tight rope of Allah.

Another tradition from Imam al-Baqir (as) says that the progeny of the Holy Prophet (S) is the rope of Allah, for whom Allah has commanded in this verse.

Also there is a tradition from Imam al-Sadiq (as) that he said: We are the rope of Allah.

Ali Ibne Ibrahim has narrated that ‘Hablullah’ means the Oneness (Tawheed) of Allah and the Mastership (Wilayat) of AhlulBayt (pbbut).

Also there is a saying of Imam al-Baqir (as) on the verse:

and be not disunited… (Surah Ale-Imran 3:103)

The Imam (as) said that Allah was knowing that this nation would be separated from its Prophet and they will have difference with him. That is why he stopped them from the difference as the nation which was before them was prohibited. Therefore they were commanded that they should remain united on the Wilayat of Muhammad (S) and his Progeny and should not disunite.

Ayyashi has narrated from Imam al-Sadiq (as) that the ‘Habl of Allah’ is the book of Allah and ‘Habl-e-Naas’ is Ali Ibne Abi Talib (as).

In Majalis of Shaykh Tusi and Manaqib of Ibne Shahr Aashob it is narrated from Imam al-Sadiq (as) that: We are ‘Hablullah’ - the rope of Allah.
