Hey, I have a question about your "Manynette Sodium Rich Edition" fic: There's a point where Marinette calls out Chat for comforting Chloe after she nearly caused a train where Marinette and her parents where to crash, but didn't Ladybug also comforted Chloe after she did that?

She did. Because she is someone compelled to give second chances, to have faith in the potential goodness, and as a character, is one to bottle up negative thoughts and feelings and not let them out.

At least, that's my offered in character reason.

Though how realistic that can be is debatable as this is a case of the writers having her do something that they need or want her to do, whether that's in character or not, doesn't matter to them. They wanted Chloe as Queen Bee so she needs Ladybug's ok. So that's why she comforts Chloe. Though I think she comforted her more about stealing a Miraculous than the train. That was Chat, which was not a good move.

Like, can you imagine your close friend comforting someone that nearly caused a train accident that you and your family was on? I don't think you'd be happy with that friend.

Now for the fic itself, Manynette is an akuma where all parts of Marinette is split up into pieces that are personified. They get to exist as they are. They get to do and speak as they are.

So the Manynette that is calling Chat out, Salti I believe, for comforting Chloe? That is the personified piece of negativity that Marinette keeps bottled up, only now she is out. Now she can speak. Now she can say all the things she wants to say. She can be mad. She can call out. She can criticize. She can be frustrated. She can let the hurt she feels out.

Hello! I just really wanted an excuse to draw @bigfatbreak's Feralnette Marinette and Felix! Honestly if you are somehow finding this and have not seen their stuff, please rectify that immediately their art is beautiful and their aus are amazing! They are singlehandedly responsible for dragging me into this fandom kicking and screaming after avoiding it for roughly a decade

I figured this particular version of Mariette would be an interesting contrast to Feralnette as she is on the opposite side of the Marinette trauma spectrum. She doesn't have the responsibility of Ladybug on her shoulders (that is currently a version of Alya in her 30s btw), doesn't have to keep her identity from her team, and has roughly 5 mentor figures older than 20.

It just occurred to me that what Feralnette said comes across as confusing. I'm referencing the Manynette au and how she was the one to go to different universes.

Had a thought slightly based on the Manynette akuma idea, slightly on Inside Out (mainly bc i cant figure out a MultiChloé idea rn): Chloé gets hit by a akuma that splits a person's emotions into separate beings. For Chloé, it's like IO where her emotions are out which are Content(favorite things(Sabrina&Adrien, she loves them)), Sad(vulnerability), Fear(canNOT handle tears(panick)), Anger/Disgust(everything&anything), and Glee(LOVES glitter). She gets hit during school hours after someone ☺️1

I know you haven’t touched it since last year given how much time is going into finishing Copycat, but how were you and nobodyfamousposts planning to write/conclude the last two chapters of Manynette Sodium Rich Edition?

That's a major spoiler I can't share, but @nobodyfamousposts and I do have a plan for the rest of it.

Honestly I'm more curious to see if it even will be wrapped up in 2 chapters. There's so much that can be written out and so much to cover that we wind with another chapter to add to it. And there's a high chance there'll be another chapter to be added, at least. The end is relatively close story wise, it just may not be in two chapters.

Yes! Multitude is indeed going to help out, but more so because of the hive-mind. Of course, nobody knows about the hive mind, but many speculate about how they seem to know things other Nettes should only know. I will say, though, that it is eventually found out!
