CRUSH Cancer by running a marathon! 🥊 🏃🏼My Marathon venture started with the Hamburg, Germany Marathon in April 2012. Now 6 years later I just finished my 12th Marathon , the Route 66 Marathon in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I started running to beat the cancer deamons in my head from stage III Cancer. I still run daily continued health, next book ideas, meditation, endorphins 🤣, business ideas and prepping for all my speaking engagements in my business GREG CHEEK SPEAKS. None of this happens (Beating Cancer) without running and the help of the Marathon Training Academy( MTA). MTA was with me every step of the way for my 1st half marathon and subsequent 12 marathons. The MTA is a lifelong family! I’ve met so many friends from this site. Yes, the picture attached is with medal 🏅 #12. However, without running this Major life event as I described in my book, Three Points of Contact, of walking my daughter down the aisle doesn’t happen. Without running, Cancer would’ve won. I’m convinced! I felt cancer getting whipped in every step in those 1st Marathons in Hamburg, Munich, Paris and Karlsruhe 🥊🏃🏼Running was/is that powerful in my fight against cancer!
