A/N: Thanks to the lovely anon who requested this! This is a list I’ve actually wanted to write for a while, but I’d been slightly nervous/unsure about it. But as someone who’s also on the spectrum, I know how much comfort similar posts from other blogs have brought me! I also tried to keep this one a bit lighter, since someone asked for a separate list about meltdowns/shutdowns, but if there’s any specific reactions/hcs like this that you guys want, let me know! (Please note that these are based off my own knowledge/experience, so I’m sorry if they don’t fit for everyone)

Jin:

I feel like he’d be slightly confused and worried at first because he’s not sure what to do/how to help you, but once you explain a bit more, he gets a lot more comfortable, and really is such a good caregiver when he needs to be.

Catches onto your different stims pretty quickly and what each one means.

Like, y’all have whole conversations solely through funny little hums and stim noises.

Really good at reading and matching your mood/energy. You wanna talk about the Mayans nonstop for two hours? Cool! You want to just sit silently and do nothing? Also cool!

I think he would handle it really well. Does his research after you tell him, and asks you about it casually during dates/hangouts.

So fucking respectful of your boundries. If you prefer to have your own space, he’s totally fine letting you do your own thing. If you need more closeness and cuddles, he’s all over that too, letting you sit right next to him while he works.

Not only lets you rant about your special interests, but makes the effort to take interest in them and asks questions. Randomly buys you little things related to them.

He’s so calming and soothing when you’re feeling stressed or overstimulated, understanding whenever you randomly need rest or quiet time(stress nap buddies)

Keeps things like extra sunglasses and headphones in his bag for you, just in case you forget yours.

Would have a lot of fun if you have audio stims, letting you listen to his new songs because your reactions and enthusiasm are so cute to him. Makes you panning audios as gifts.

Always there to look out for you whenever executive dysfunction decides to kick your ass. Washes the dishes, doing the laundry, restocking your safe foods, etc. He would also be really good at body doubling.

I honestly think he would be really good with an S/O on the spectrum. Like, he literally designed Mang, who is soo ND coded like omg😭, so I think he would be able to understand you really well.

(if you haven’t seen the videos of him talking about Mang’s personality and character traits during the re-design process last year, pls go watch them, I almost cried)

Loves buying you new fidgets and stim toys whenever he finds new ones to try(he even has a collection of chewlery that he wears bc he thinks they’re neat).

Is really good reading you and distracting you when you start to get overstimulated or anxious, sometimes noticing before you do.

Lowkey protective over you in spaces and situations he knows are stressful for you, positioning himself next to you whenever he spots things he knows bother you.

You know how Yoongi described him as a vitamin? That’s how it is for you now too.💛

He’s so stimmy himself, so he would find a lot of your stims really relatable and endearing. Like, if you start happy stimming, he can’t help but join right in, bouncing or squealing with you. It makes him so happy that you feel comfortable enough with him to share those parts of yourself with him.

Namjoon:

Instantly super supportive when you told him, making an effort to research on his own, as well as listening to your personal experiences to understand as much as possible.

Happily sits and lets you info-dump about your special interests. He honestly loves seeing you so passionate and animated about whatever you’re talking about and loves getting a glimpse into how your mind works(it was probably during one of these moments that he realized he was in love with you)

Surprisingly good pebbler, he’s always finding cool rocks or shells for your collections.

Doesn’t mind speaking for you on days when you’re nonverbal.

The sweetest when you’re feeling overstimulated. He closes all the curtains to make it dark and cozy and sits with you, talking as softly as needed or not talking at all, tapping your hand gently now and then to let you know he’s still there.

Soo protective over you, almost to a fault at times. Like, you might have to scold him once or twice about babying you, but he really doesn’t mean to, he just wants to make sure you’re safe and happy.

The world feels a lot less scary tho with him next you. You know if you need anything, he’s got your back.

Jimin:

The softest boi🥺 He was honestly a little scared when you first told him, because he didn’t want to do anything wrong and was worried he wouldn’t be ‘good’ at looking after you, but he quickly relaxed and grew more confident as he learned more from you.

The best comforter when you’re feeling overwhelmed or depressed, full of quiet reassurances and long hugs(if you’re okay with those). He’ll gladly cuddle with you under your weighted blanket for however long you need to feel better.

Literally set up a little “nest” for you at his place with a like beanbag chair and your favorite types of blankets/pillows, so you have your own place to just ‘be’ and recoup when you need it.

Carries fidget toys and sensory aids like sunglasses and headphones with him at all times, just in case you need them.

Really good at communicating with you on days when you’re nonverbal, whether through texts or little notes(which he always adds little doodles on to make your smile😊)

Makes sure you never feel guilty or like a burden to him for letting him in on those tougher days. If anything, they make him love you even more because of the trust you have in him.

It really makes him feel so proud and happy inside that you find so much comfort in his presence and that he gets to take care of you.💜

Taehyung:

Another that I think would be particularly good with a neurodivergent S/O. Like, everyone jokes about how he’s weird, so I think he’d love that you’re both your kind of own unique kinds of ‘weird’.

Happily rewatches your favorite comfort shows/films with you, and speaks in fluent film quotes with you.

Loves when you fidget and stim with his hands or fingers.

If you like pressure stims, he’s a dream come true. Like, the man’s a living weighted blanket, so when you basically give him a doctor's note for cuddles? He’s never gonna let you go.

As relaxed as he might come across sometimes tho, he’s super observant of your stims and triggers and takes it so seriously whenever you start feeling overwhelmed or stressed.

It doesn’t matter where you are or what you’re doing, if you need a break, he’s getting you to a quiet place where you can sit and just recalibrate.

Rivals Jin and Yoongi for top spot in the acts of service department on your bad days, making sure you eat properly, doing any household chores that need done. He even learned how to wash your weighted blanket so you don’t have to.

Jungkook:

Was definitely a little lost and overwhelmed when you first explained everything to him, but he really takes it in stride and tries to learn as much as possible to help make things easier for you where he can.

The King of comfort squeezes. Like you’ve seen his arms, he gives the best hugs, I just know it(especially on those “the weighted blanket isn't enough, I need a hydraulic press” days)

Loves learning about your special interests. Like, It’s no longer just your special interest, it’s our special interest. He’s even studying and finding things for it on his own to surprise you with.

Honestly plays with some of your fidget toys more than you do, lol! You might even end up giving him a few of his favorites😊

Gets super happy and smiley whenever you get echolalia of his songs.

Vardaros Headcanons

So, with Vardaros, I imagine their people are made up of a lot of people who were native to North America, the Native Indians (or Vardarans in this case) the Mayans, and also African people (I know they weren't apart of North America but yknow, ofc, Africa lmao but I wanted to add them too) Also, everyone who is of direct decent of these the first Vardarans are Native Vardaran

Nowadays in the Vardaros there are very few Native Vardarans left as there has been immigration of course meaning mixes of culture and also, in the times of when the first Vardarans were here many of them started dying off due to diseases they did not know how to combat. The first Vardarans did not know much of medicines or alchemy and that was when they had gotten a few immigrants (these would've been the people based on African culture, the people of Native Imdian and Mayan culture had already been there) they knew quite a bit about alchemy and medicines and were able to help out (this is based on the West African religion Vodun in relation to voodoo)

After about 2-3 centuries of living there more immigrants came (these would be people from European culture except they would not be conquerors however, peaceful people)

Due to so many immigrants they started to run out of resources, the new immigrants had taught them of farming though, which helped as they had only been hunting and looking for food in the wild

Of course, not long after, disaster struck again, more disease and illness killing off more of the first Vardarans leaving mainly the new immigrants that had come (similar to when the Europeans came and purposely brought people with illness to kill off the Natives except in this case, not on purpose)

Years passed and less people with direct lineage to the first Vardarans remained, some of the few people left that were are Vex, Captain Quaid, and Lady Caine (headcanons)

When the Baron and his cronies came it was basically like the European colonizers coming over with the reign of terror he brought, and instead of bringing illnesses to kill people he would kill them himself, he made it very clear that if you tried to defy him you were dead

Lady Caine Backstory (hcs)

Lady Caine had been born in Vardaros (her whole family had also been born in Vardaros, they were some of the people who would be based in Native Indian culture, I also hc Vex to be one of the people based in Native Indian culture) and lived there until she was about four years old and then they moved to Corona for better opportunities

Not long after moving to Corona the baby princess had been kidnapped and times in the kingdom had gotten hard, a lot of people had to result to thievery and crime to live, Caine's father had been able to afford basic necessities but one night they didn't have much, he couldn't even feed Caine so he stole a bit of food and had gotten taken to jail as he got caught, he rotted in there for the rest of his life

Caine had to survive on the streets, keeping clear of royal guards and resulted to thievery herself, she held a deep hatred towards to royal family as they took her father away just for a small crime, she had heard after a few years later some of the prisoners taken (when she was 4) were dead, including her father

She knew she had to avenge her father, she marinated on this for years, getting up to high power and finally being able to carry out her revenge (yall know the rest of the events in TTS)

During her time in jail after her third time getting arrested she thought about all she had done, she realized that this life of crime would not bring honor to her father, she behaved herself and got let out early and decided to travel back to Vardaros where she was simply farming but then decided she could do more, she went to help Quaid and Vex bring justice to Vardaros

She had been a pretty big criminal before so she was sure she could be a good help

Vex didn't trust Caine at first but learned to trust her and even looked up to her as a big sister

When she started working with them she started to see Quaid as a dad, she felt really happy being there and helping them, she hoped it could make up for what she did, she hoped that if her dad were alive that he'd be proud

(I'm a major CassCaine shipper do there's CassCaine stuff ahead too lol)

After Cass decided to travel around with her father she eventually came to Vardaros and saw.. Lady Caine? What was she doing out of jail! (Cass hadn't gotten word of Caine's release)

She was suspicious at first, especially at hearing that Caine turned over a new leaf and was helping Vardaros but after staying for longer she realized Caine had changed, she wanted to help people

She started to fall for Caine and Caine fell for her, Cass asked Caine to come with her on her journey but Caine said she couldn't for now, she wanted to stay and continue helping the people of Vardaros but maybe she would join her one day in the future, but for now she wouldn't

I'm Native myself and there isn't enough Native rep but I love the idea of Vardaros being a Native community, of some of my favorite characters being Native

Also, forgot to state this, not all African people in this world would have immigrated to Vardaros so not every African character would be Native Vardaran

Like for example, Lance, I'm not sure if I'd count him as part of it but if he's ever confirmed to be from Vardaros then yeah

“I don’t believe I caught your name,” the smooth talking man says to you as you’re seated face to face in the security office.

Your eyes flick open after massaging the space in between your brows, “Are you going to turn into a stalker too?”

The buzzed and tatted man scoffs out some laughter, appearing so relaxed against these god-awful chairs, “Nah. I’m big on consent, unlike that fluffy piece of shit in that cheap red suit.”

That made a bubble of laughter appear from your throat, which you covered but the man picked up on it, a smirk appearing on his own lips.

“I guess my partner in crime should know.” You decided with a slight playful sigh, after some time.

The both of you were waiting for the security team to review the footage that took place in the: picture with Santa line!

You got seperated from your mother who had your four year old niece and she gave you the go to wait in the growing line and that she would meet you there.

You were on the phone with your mother as soon as the line started to pick up but you took in the strangeness of the man behind the Santa suit.

First you thought he was just eyeing the line until you would feel his eyes burning into you.

It wasn’t until he ran his tongue over his teeth that you caught a glimpse of the gold grill over his front tooth and scar by the corner of his right, your left, eye that you realized who was under the suit.

It was a stalker that was sent by your ex (he was in jail back in Florida) to keep tabs on you.

You were frozen in your spot and a security guard was just getting ready to tell you to leave the line since there was no child in sight with you.

Shaking it off you wasted no time trying to get away from him, walking towards the security guard.

The stalker in the suit didn’t hesitate getting to his feet, charging over to you to yank you up by the arm, and stumble over the stage.

You yelped, while everyone gasped at what they were seeing, including the scared children.

“You thought you could run from me huh? Why? When I’ve got the right North Pole just for you.”

Which made your body fill with heat while your thigh and hip aches from the impact of colliding with the front of the stage.

After hearing his gruff and sickening voice again, you felt your fist ball up and next thing you knew it was flying connecting right with his nose.

This the stalker in the Santa get up didn’t appreciate as he tried to yank your entire body up on the stage.

The security guard was definitely taking his sweet time but atp it felt like tunnel vision.

He was here to cause more harm.

That’s when another figure bum-rushed him, hands tight on their wrist as he knocked the blade out of their hand.

That’s right, you were about to get stabbed on what was supposed to be a jolly season.

As you scrambled to pull yourself up onto the stage yourself, you heard the security guard calling for backup while trying to keep the rest of the families back from the brawl.

You took this opportunity to kick the blade out of the way and land a few kicks of your own as the tatted stranger held down the man that’s been giving you hell since you moved back to Yuma.

Anger took over and ultimately led to you being dragged away along with the stalker, and the stranger in biker gear.

After being interrogated over what happened, the security team was smart enough to keep the creep away from you two while they reviewed the footage.

Your mother was blowing up your phone now but you knew if you answered, you would take your anger out of her so eventually you just sent her a simple text, knowing that she must have finally shown up with your niece.

“Don’t even worry about it ma, got to protect yourself so I’m not even mad at you.” He says with his hands clasped together in his lap before he leans forward pressing his elbows into his knees, “But as what you declared me as, your partner in crime, you can call me Manny.”

He grins at you, “and I’ll just call you…pretty hook.”

That gets a roll of your eyes but there’s a smile you can’t bite back.

You picked up on his tats and no ring on his finger but there was a dent on one of them that could have held one once upon a time.

Manny was handsome, no doubt about it but you had your share of troubled men before and you were certain that you didn’t want to go back that way.

You really weren’t even open to dating and just focusing on yourself.

Yet here you were seated across the stranger that jumped in to keep you from getting stabbed. That was big.

And your heart may have skipped a beat but you’d never admit it.

Sooner than later, the head of the security team arrived with the verdict:

Stalker Santa broke parole and would be sent right back to jail where your ex boyfriend rotted.

And…you two were suspended from the mall for at least thirty days since, “violence wasn’t their standards but they appreciated that the both of you were basically the targets instead of children.” It’s was backsided a hundred percent and while you were ready to go off, Manny kept his cool, which was something you weren’t used to seeing.

The both of you were kicked out and then escorted from the mall, standing side by side by the steps in Arizona’s winter as you stared out into the parking lot.

“I didn’t even get to stop at miu miu.” You stomped your boots covered feet, childishly but stopped as you felt your knuckles throb at your movement.

Bringing them up to your sight, you flexed your fingers to make sure nothing was broken but they didn’t look the prettiest right now.

Manny snorts, “Somehow I think you’ll live for thirty days but somebodies credit card won’t.”

You sass, “My money my rules, Manny the biker.” As you quickly trail your eyes from staring into his to gaze at his cut.

He raises his hands in surrender but mockingly shudders his shoulders in faux fear, which made you suck your teeth at him.

“Thanks though for all of that back there…when most people—like that sorry security guard witnessing it all—would have just stood there or recorded.”

“Yeah,” he shrugs as if it was nothing, “I saw what he was on the moment you got in line. Didn’t feel right in my gut so I intervened. You’re gonna be alright, right?”

Rolling your shoulders beneath your fur cropped coat you lifted your chin and stared out into the view of Yuma, “Always am.”

Somehow that didn’t feel 100% true and this Manny could tell but he knows it not his place to say anything, considering that he just met you.

He hums and says something more, “Hey pretty hook, I know what you’re gettin’ for Christmas.”

“Oh do you?” You tilt your head, “let it be something worth while.”

Manny chuckles as he turns, shoving his hands into his pockets as he steps back off the sidewalk answering you, “…lumps of coal.”

It’s your turn to scoff at his lame joke just as a old bronco pulls up for him.

“Har-har. I bet your batch is bigger.”

“You’re probably right,” Manny sends a gorgeous smile your way as he pulls open the passenger door, “you take care of yourself alright, partner in crime.”

“I’ll do my best.”

“I won’t doubt you.” He licks his bottom lip and pats the space where the rolled down window is before climbing in, “Hopefully we’ll be seein’ each other around but if we don’t…keep being you.”

You nod, “As long as you keep a helmet on when you’re riding those death traps.”

Manny laughs knowing you’re referring to bikes, “Sure but I prefer classic cars anyway.”

Which felt like a underlining meaning for something and your heart seemed to agree as he gives you a simple wave, and another smile, before signaling to the driver to go as he rolled up his window.

Cradling your bruised and scarred hand, your eyes follow the car up to the point it’s out of your view, turning your gaze back out to the evening skies with a soft exhale, trying to push away the hope that you did run into the buzzed haired man, who seemed to have the everlasting calmness to your storms.

Super gentle. Praise kink activated. He'd have his hands on your hips, fingers drawing little comforting circles on your skin. He'd smile up at you with that grin. He'd lay there perfectly still, all the discipline in the world not to thrust up into you. He'd help you lift up and sink back down slowly, telling you how pretty you look and how good of a job you're doing for him. The type to tell you to do whatever feels natural and good for you. A-ok with you grinding back and forth. He'll talk you through it and checks in with you consistently to make sure you're still ok.

He's down for the idea immediately, but not nearly as patient or disciplined as he needs to be for you to be entirely in control the whole time. He'll tell you what he likes and give you the reigns, but that doesn't last long before his hands are moving your body like a toy and thrusting up into you. He has to be reminded multiple times that he's supposed to be guiding you. He'll apologize and be good for a bit before you have to scold him again. Curses like a sailor, tells you how fucking beautiful you are above him. Definitely might need you to hold his arms down by the wrist to ride him once you get the hang of it.

Similar to EZ. Patient and helpful. Compliments you the entire time. His hands help guide you up and down but once you've got the hang of it, they're exploring. He likes to trail his fingertips over your tummy gently and watch the goosebumps follow. Tells you how you're the most beautiful girl in the world. How happy he is that you're comfortable enough with him to be vulnerable and want to learn with him. Even when you lose your rhythm or almost fall off the edge of the bed, he's there with you, love in his eyes.

He loves the idea. Loves that you trust him enough to be vulnerable, yet eager enough that you're willing to learn. He probably puts his hands behind his head or flat to the side to keep himself from dragging you but he fails still. Uses his hands to grind you down on him, thumbs at your clit even when you whine and try to swat his hand away, not wanting it to end too quick. He's having the time of his life and is more than happy to teach you today, tomorrow, and every single day that exists after that.

Perfectly patient and a gentleman. Checks in often, makes sure you're comfortable. Praises you the entire time. Likes to feel your hands on his chest and he holds your hands overtop to help balance you. Also one that has the discipline to not rut up into you even though that's all he wants to do. He wants you to learn and explore. Loves watching your face when you find the perfect angle. If you didn't have a praise kink before, you will now.

Takes every ounce of control he has to let you do your thing. All he wants is to flip you over and pound you into the mattress, but he'll try his best to behave. At least for a little while. Don't put it past him to place a mirror by the bed so you can see how good you look and how you move. my (simple) design for @jotun-design-party ! I couldn’t decide between small choices so I just did them all lol

I based my design off some simple norse AND mayan clothing (I’ve been doing some research into my heritage and I got inspired ig) some of my hcs about jotnar include them being cold (obvs) and they can probably handle the cold BUT wind and water is still a thing so they would want protection from the wind and to not be wet right? also, lighter colors bc it’s easier to blend in, but I feel like loki would still wear dark colors anyway bc why not? I also couldn’t decide if I wanted loki with organic horns or a headpiece, or if I wanted his hair tied up or down, so I did versions with both

kinda simple but I did an oops and tried to do four versions and I’m tired

Uenuku was the hardest to pin down for me. we know so little about him compared to the others!!! we don't even know how he met the team or his interactions with any of them really (except that Och-Kan thought he could have explored the flooded zone under Ochkanatlan easily, so he must have been a good swimmer/diver). i spent like 3 days thinking mostly about him and making shit up and then went from there 😭

Across the board I feel they would all love it for sure!

Juice, Coco, Creeper, Bottles feel slightly embarrassed one because they were snooping around through your personal things while you were in the shower. They should have stopped they know that but now they are transfixed by this sketch of them. Then two seeing themselves through your eyes on paper is hard because you have captured the true them that they hide from the club. Under the hardened shell they present is really just a guy who needs love, comfort and protection from the world.

Chibs and Bishop are so taken aback by the beauty of the sketch they don’t say anything at first. They simply pack it away when you are not looking with some of their things. They hope you won’t miss it but it’s a risk they must take. The next time you are at their house your eyes linger on a new piece of artwork in an ornate frame in the living room. It stops you in your tracks as you recognize it as your own.

Angel, Jax, Manny,Guero are all puffed chests and cockiness. Finding this sketch only strokes and feeds their egos because they know they are hot and this only solidifies to them you think so too. Why else would you have made a sketch of them? Any chance you had at playing hard to get or pretending you didn’t is out the door. Oh and also they are demanding to know why this masterpiece is not displayed in your home for all to see.

Happy lets a smile play across his face briefly. The ever present toothpick rolling back and forth as he ponders if he should talk to you about his find. Being a man of few words and hating to get into emotional based conversations he simply folds it up and tucks it inside the pocket of his leather with his other valuables. A photo of his mama and then the first photo of the two of you at a fair photo booth from the night you first met. Right over his heart where it rightfully belongs.

Ez, Halfsack and Ratboy are all smiles and light chuckles when it falls out of the stack of books and art supplies on the shelf you had claimed as yours. Glancing at the clock they know they have a few hours before you get off work. Grabbing some supplies they get themselves situated and get to work on a sketch of their own of the most beautiful being they know….you. They shoot you a text right when you get off work with it.

Opie and Gilly the two grizzly bears turned teddies when the are with you are overcome with joy and delight. They are almost kid like with their giddiness of it. How you managed to fir them on paper astounds them. They are like proud parents, making copies and putting them everywhere. They cause enough stir they get you a coveted spot in the local gallery.

Tig and Kozik love it without a doubt, They think you are the best artist in town. Their only problem? Why is only their face and not a nude sketch? They have more impressive features than just their faces.

First of all I LOVE THIS.

secondly I should warn you I'm about to ramble about Stan just now and he is one of my favourite characters of all time, in case your unaware of the pure concentrated beam of autism coming your way:

I have always thought Stan was equally as intelligent as Ford, not just in a 'he's street smart way' or whatever some people say, no bro learnt advanced physics to bring back Ford, bro is genius in his own right but his grades didn't do him justice and I think it boiled down to a) Filbrick putting him down all the time and being a piece of shit b) him being one of those kids who had a lot of potential and was let down by the school system, his passions and interests didn't fit what he was being taught, (also I hc him being on the spectrum) c) it was a identity thing, Ford was the 'smart one' and he was just Stan, he couldn't also be the smart one, that wasn't who he was kinda thing. But honestly in a better timeline, Stan should have had the SAME prospects as Ford leaving high school.

But I love the idea of Stan starting to look into archelogy and Ford expecting him to drop it as soon as he realises that he's going to have to know a lot about history so he can make meaningful links to origins of artifacts he finds, that there is a scientific process involved with how you find and properly handle artifacts. He's sure as soon as Stan opens those old second hand books he 'borrowed' from the store not to far from where they live he's going to get bored.

He doesn't

He spends hours looking through it, drawing his own sketches and notes to go with... just for fun. It's not linked to anything he is doing at school, Filbrick isn't impressed by the facts he tells him about Mayan civilisations' and what he wishes he could find and Filbrick tells him it's a pipe dream and waste of time just like the rest of his life. But that doesn't stop Stan.

Ford begins to realise he's actually serious about this, and tries a lot harder to genuinely help him get through the school, not just by letting him copy off his work but actually helping him understand, Stan still complains about what he isn't as interested in but it's easier with the incentive of 'were going to need this so we can travel the world together solving mysteries' except solving mysteries isn't in the same fantastical ideal they had before, but Ford understanding weirdness and anomalies and the workings of the universe and Stan finding remnants of the past and piecing together a much bigger greater story. They have different interests but they compliment each other.

And yeah I don't know how the science fair of West coast tec would work exactly but I just love the idea of them arriving at gravity falls together and Stan losing his shit about the preserved dinosaurs in the caverns, and Fidds (yes he's still here, no I'm not elaborating on how that works but mystery trio all the way) having to practically restrain both Pines twins from recreating the plot of Jurassic park together, he is super hyped about the alien crash site, because you know he's one those 'ancient aliens types' and dammit he has proof, he's seen the weird shit his brother interacts with day to day, and some of the stuff he's found has GOT TO be made from something out of this world.

And yes Stan would see the big ominous evil looking book and be like 'this is right up sixer's alley'

(It has to deal with my HC that him and Miguel are actually mortal reincarnations of the hero twin gods.) Most of the movie's plot honestly points in this direction, since they reference the myth is various ways around him and Miguel so it just adds up to me.
