(Was talking with @dronebiscuitbat about how I genuinely wasn't sure if Spectre's relationship with Tera and Kiara was healthy or not, since Spectre's acting the way she is right now.

Then I just had a thought. Maybe the reason I think she's so bad is because I'm writing mostly all big impactful moments, and moments that do bring out stressful moments in Spectre.

I'm not writing every time Spectre pops up at the clinic to check on Ai and kiss Kiara, maybe try to fluster her if others are around. I'm not writing every time she dances with Tera in candlelight, or talks and cuddles with her whole Tera's drowsy or Spectre's feeling particularly affectionate.

Over at @shurikensgang, I'm not writing all the times Spectre hangs out with Harlow to talk or maybe spar, or Shuriken to play games with, or Brianna to talk with and maybe do some things with fashion and aesthetics, or J to talk and just spend time with a very close friend. Moments where they just spend time together, because they're friends, and friends can have mundane moments, even if mundane looks different from person to person.

I think by not actively writing and showing these normal daily occurences where things are just kinda boring in a very positive way, my brain has forgotten they happen much if at all. And as a result, I have a bit of a warped view of how much Spectre's rough traits appear compared to her sweeter ones.

Wipdate!

Well. It's been like three years since I've done one of these, hahaha, but I've been missing fandom life so I thought it'd be fun to share an update of where I'm sitting. Toddlers manage to take like 140% of your time and energy, even though they sleep a lot, so I've mostly just been parenting, but I've been getting the writing bug lately, so there's very slow progress, but progress nonetheless.

Basically, I have a list of fics I want to make sure I finish. They're the ones it would break my heart to look back on twenty years from now and realize I put all that time and those words into something that never got shared. I haven't been having new ideas very much, so I'm putting all my creative energy into things I've either promised to other people or to myself.

I'm not going to list everything I've posted since my last wipdate, since that was a looong time ago and you can always sort my works page chronologically! But here's the latest ones...

It's a no-powers Ults AU where Tony is dying of his (canon!) brain cancer and Steve is a security specialist/bodyguard who Tony hires to be around while he dies. Yay for finishing old wips!

This wiplist is basically just going to be my list of "I'll be sad if I never finish them" fics I mentioned above. I have no plans to stop writing fic entirely, but I'm definitely slowing down, and I want to focus on the stuff that will feel really good to have done so I don't ever leave myself or you guys hanging!

1) Held edit (the chaptered repost) and Held Remix (at least S1). @ashes0909 and I are picking away at it, but between three kids, two jobs, and two timezones, it's slow af. But we'll get there.

2) My other 2023 MTH fic, older professor Tony and young flirty student Steve for @sabrecmc pod bid. It's maybe a third done.

3) My contribution to the Stony Dating Sim game from MTH 2024 (I'm doing Ults Tony as a love interest. If you want to know more, check out @stevetonydatingsim).

4) My Stony Twilight AU. I posted a snippet of it here a long time ago and I've been picking at it ever since. It's at 33k and probably about halfway done.

5) Fangbait 3. My Fangbait series was always intended to have three parts. Two are up already. The third was on hiatus for a long time, but I just abruptly wrote 80% of it last night, so once I get the sex scenes (and a title oh no) done, she'll be good to go!

6) Yet I Will Try the Last has been waiting for waaay too long for an update and I feel really bad about it. It was the one time I experimented with posting an unfinished WIP (mostly because it started as a oneshot and then I started adding to it) and I regretti spaghetti every day that I did that lol. I. Have. Not. Given. Up. I have the outline for the rest, I know what I want to do, I just need to do it.

7) Brooklyn is a canon divergence from right after Avengers 2012 where Stony travels on a modified quinjet together, cleaning up the chitauri weapon's market. It's maybe a third to a half done? Another one I started a loooong time ago and never got my steam back with, but I would really like to. I really like that one.

8) A Venom/Eddie fic from right after the first movie. It's not too long and it's probably also about halfway done, so I believe in myself. It's called Parasite.

9) A collab started a few years ago that I'm not going to out here in case my collab partner doesn't want to do it anymore, but we did a fair bit of it so I'd love to get it done.

Writing comes in little spurts, but I have to pick and choose between my hobbies now, so I just have less time and energy to spend on one thing. I've been trying to read more to fuel the words! I also have OG stuff I'm working on, but that's just as slow as the other stuff lol. I miss you guys! Hope y'all are doing well. (Happy Easter if you celebrate!)

i don't really write angst for angst's sake but 🤔🤔🤔 maybe it matters not (brujay suburban AU) but that is more of a melancholic ending AND it has a happy follow up (and a happy ending if i ever get to writing it). Or, Playing House in Our Loving Home where jason traps himself in a dubcon relationship with the rest of the batfam because of self sacrificial reasons?

yes and it's so cool every time 🥺 off the top of my head, i've had my fics translated to chinese, russian, and spanish. also, have translated a few chinese fics into english myself because they were just sooo good (see them here!!)

yes! i've cowritten Deathbringers’ Guide to Retirement (brujay assassins AU) + Midnight Cravings (sladejay uh, chicken AU) with @salmonellagogo :D also did Best Laid Plans (sladejay cop AU) with @fleet-of-red, and a few chain fics with peeps in the brujay discord server like A Guy Like You Should Wear A Warning and our CYOA Illusion of Choice! all of which were some of the funnest writing experience i've ever done.

just reached a whooping 100!!!!! works for brujay so i think that kinda speaks for itself given that blows all the other pairings i've ever written out of the water in terms of both quantity and longevity of my interest. my first brujay was written in 2018, and well, it's now 2025 🙀🙀🙀

WIPs you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

i have a dickjay incest AU where they are in a relationship and finds out they are actually blood related, i've been working on this since uh, forever...... and it's still in such a mish-mash state that i doubt it will ever be done. big sad on this one because i LOVE the idea and what little parts of it that i've started on.

i've been told i got a very distinctive writing style that is kinda really recognizable. have also been told that my description of food stands out. both of which makes me go :)))) :))) :)))))))

Writing Weaknesses?

terrible with coming up with plot or describing fighting sequence type action, also kinda mediocre with dialogue unless inspiration REALLY hits?? and uh, don't really have the patience to do world building or slow burns either..... this feels like a lot of weakness lmfaao I'm not actually that good at writing, i just really like doing it hahahahaa

Thoughts on mixed language dialogue?

from someone who has gotten really shitty at their mother tongue, I'd say have fun, go for it, as long as you come from a place full of willingness to learn and not like willful ignorance or malice then do it!!! i've seen AO3 script that lets you insert translation directly into fic which is also suuuuper cool so i think there's a lot of room to figure out a happy medium.

this one made me think but i think it could possibly be beyblade??? but i don't even think any of it still exists. which thank god, baby kuro was not good but by god did they try 😂

Favorite fic you've ever written?

this is SUCH a hard question, but given i have the brain of a goldfish, i recently wrote Sympathy for the Devil for the brujay server exchange, it is a brujay noir AU and i worked reallllly hard on crafting the plot and the world building so this one has gotta be my latest favourite imo.

Thanks for tagging me @monbons! I've been working on three snowbaz fics (Space Oddity and my two CORBB collabs). I've also been reading the Green Creek series with Pato and I'm losing it because I love them all so much.

Here's a snippet of one of my WIPs (Baz's POV):

I tell myself that maybe I can push my luck a little.

That maybe no one will notice if I get the smallest of my sketch pads out and hide it in front of my keyboard. Maybe if I move my laptop a little to the left and point it his way, Snow won’t notice that I’m drawing him. I’m not the only person here, after all. There are other customers coming and going. I tell myself that no one will pay attention to me, even though I’m usually much more cautious than this. But I’ve had a shit week, and Father is probably going to bother me even more than usual because one of my cousin’s wedding is coming up, and I’m supposed to bring a plus one.

My heart stutters as I slide my hand inside my work bag and get my drawing kit out. My eyes are fixed on Snow while my fingers move almost seamlessly, so used to doing this covertly. It’s not the first time I sketch him—far from it. But I usually plan this beforehand. I wait until rush hour or pick a moment when he’s busy to sneakily draw him. I have a massive drawer under my bed full to the brim of sketch books. It’s all freckles and moles, blue eyes and bronze curls. That elusive smile, the determined frown and that vulnerable look he has sometimes, when he thinks no one is paying attention to him while he’s torturing his curls.

Say do you have any headcanons about principal nezu? Like aside from him drinking tea and such. Since you know he was seen or mentions a few times and yeah we have a snippet of his somewhat life. (And a fanart of him being a smoker, is it true to manga or just an headcanon? I honestly dunno) Like he was a terrifying creature to mess with. And the world smartest creature around the world. I wanna hear your opinions and interpretations about him. Sorry if this is somewhat annoying it's been a while since i dropped by on this fandom. And man i felt overwhelmed hehehe...

I believe the name spelling comes from a different romanization of the japanese characters, and what the official tag specifies on Ao3. It confuses me, myself, but the Death Note fandom was more egregious about it back when I was in there haha- Romanized versions of Japanese versions of English words, so the different spellings here in the MHA fandom are a little less jarring to me. No worries, feel free to send me fandom asks, I love these! Haha- Most of my personal Nezu headcanons are sort of separate from my more recent works, and come from a friend of mine that I haven't talked to in a while haha- A little more lighthearted- (Actually... Maybe not, depends on where exactly you're looking haha)

Him being a smoker is canon, but I haven't really seen it taken seriously (including by myself) until my recent collab with WordyBirb on this fic! Awesome interpretation, really love how it's handled- In both this work, and their other Nezu one-shot ;)

But what I've written/seen from this other friend of mine myself, has him as a pill-popper rather than a smoker- And more due to an insecurity, and stress over how he appears to the public eye, rather than a more vicious trauma response. Though, of course he does have his own, more unsightly traumas :)

This would be the Nezu you usually see in my drawings with an older Tomura, and if the distinction is needed, with a nick in the left ear ;) He's a lot less keen with the idea of being a father when he first personally meets Tomura, denying how he starts to care about him, when after a deal to keep Tomura hidden instead of shipped off to Tartarus, Tomura uses the codename "Dad" on a whim to disguise his conversations.

And Nezu really does try not to care, it's adorable, but eventually after like five months, he comes to his senses, and decides he probably shouldn't be distancing himself from his feelings by sending Tomura on death-defying missions to do things he personally couldn't. (And Tomura, being the adrenaline junkie he is, doesn't really get why he's not sent on these missions anymore. He thinks they're fun lol.)

Other than current-time headcanons, I do headcanon that he escaped his lab around the time that Tenko had his incident with his quirk, and hopefully I can write more about this scenario where this homeless Nezu has to take care of an also homeless Tenko, just trying to build up motivation, it's a hefty task with my other projects going on haha-

Ohhhhh, that is a tough question, I tend to like the dialogue I write, but it's not always my main focus, and I'm also not necessarily the funniest person, so... also, I couldn't decide, so you can have a sad dialogue, sth spicey and maybe an honourable mention or sth😂

for clarity, I've taken out a few parts of non dialogue for readability. If you want to read the whole thing, feel free to click the links!

"I'm sorry I didn't come with you", he continued when the other two didn't say anything, "I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have said no."

So first, I have this snippet of You're the only one who can:

"I'm sorry for not being able to be honest", he pressed out, getting closer to the bed.

"For not being brave enough..."

"I didn't want this...", he said, his knees finally hitting the mattress, "I didn't want to make you feel like this..."

"I love you, both of you. So much. I didn't want to make you feel like I don't want you, don't need you, because I do. I need you so much that it scares me..."

"I don't want to have to hide you anymore", Jan said lowly, pressing their foreheads together.

This might be more of a monologue since it's mostly Bojan talking, but I honestly really like this, as well as Jan's reply. I liked writing it. It made me tear up, and I think it's showing a lot of the emotional chaos Bojan is going through in that fic and how much he still loves his boyfriends and how much he needs to show them, even though he doesn't wanna go public yet. It's cute and idk, I don't really like going on about my writing that much 😂😂

The other snip of dialogue I have is from chapter two of At your beck and call (I wanna ride):

"Isn't he perfect like that, Janči? Such a good boy for us", Nace says lowly.

"Yeah, he is", Jan presses out through his teeth.

"You know what would make him even more perfect? How he would look even better?" "He'd be even hotter dripping with both our come, fucked out, sloppy and wet, a good little boy, just for us."

It's the first fic North and I collabed on and it's still one of my favs. This is pure filth and Nace "Mr. Cum Kink" Jordan is running his mouth to get what he wants. Idk what possessed me here, but it felt right having Nace dirty talk like that, cause I think he'd be good at it ngl

Now to some honourable mentions 😂

I really like most of the dialogue I wrote in Intertwined.

Especially the little dialogue in the second chapter between Jan and Kris, where Jan was in front of the door waiting for Kris to buzz open the door for him because he didn't want to get out his key.

Or in chapter four (the big sad as I like to call it) when Bojan met Nace who was on a walk with Oli and they had their little back and forth about whether or not the band would've just taken any bassist as long as they got a dog that then shifted into Bojan talking about Igor being a good kitty.

I also have some dialogue from fics that are not yet published or where the next chapter isn't up yet, so if you want to know more about those, feel free to ask me 😊

G: Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order?

I wish I could just write my scenes out of order, that would make my process much easier and probably faster, but since I'm constantly coming up with things on the go and don't really like having to decide early what I still have to write, I don't really like doing things out of order. This sadly leads me to sometimes being stuck tho, so that's why writing always takes a while for me.

What I do, however, is going back and putting in more details. While I need to write things from start to finish, I love editing and love putting in little touches. I really hate having a blank page, so I hate having to come up with the first sentence of a fic or the beginning. I stall and don't know what to do, so I'm feeling unsure and awkward. The same thing applies if I have a blank page in front of me. That's why I sometimes pre write my dialogue in one go for a scene, just so I have words I can jump between and don't have the dread of the great nothing holding me back.

Also because sometimes dialogue comes easier to me, so I like writing it down and coming up with replies on the go is much easier than anything else.

X: A character you enjoy making suffer.

Oh god... eh... I don't like making my blorbos suffer, I don't enjoy them being sad and I'm not a fan of unnecessary hurt... with what I'm writing in Intertwined, you might be convinced otherwise tho and somtimes I'm not too entirely convinced myself, ngl. But if by suffering, we mean crying, I do absolutely enjoy having Bojan cry (but mostly in a begging, shaking, sobbing way, less the actual real tears because he's sad), so yeah 😂😂😂

💡: How many WIPs do you currently have?

I have this bad boy right above that should get done very soon hopefully, then Vampire fic (my beloved), I have a kinda angsty Simon POV oneshot sitting around in my drafts and then I have tiny, tiny snippets/ideas waiting around in my docs for another 4 possible fics (but some of these are supposed to be collabs and both parties haven't found the time to seriously work on them yet), so uh? 3 very concrete ones and 4 that are somewhere between an idea and some first written words, idk if that counts.

🚦: What sort of endings do you prefer to write: ambiguous, bad, happily ever after, etc.?

Oh gosh... tbh I LOVE the impact of an ambigious/angsty ending, but for the fics where I kinda wanna keep the ending like this I ALSO wanna do like a part 2 that resolves it because I'm weak like that 💀 So I guess happily ever after if I'm being truly honest.

🦈: Which character is the toughest to write?

I haven't done Simon POV before, so that's a bit more difficult for me tbh. I just feel like I can look into Wille's head better, idk?

Was tagged by @chevvy-yates and @drunkchasind, thanks both ♥ But, i don't have a lot of things to talk about. My last rest days, i mostly played and continue my commissions. And as i'm back to office + physical therapy 3x/week after work, really few time ...

Mods / Comms I mostly cleaned my comm list, even i'm late on my schedule because of elbow. Still do finish one, update 2 and doing full one. After that, i hope updating mine, but i really doubt about it x) But just a list in case : - i will update Vanessa (2 more nomads AU, 1 merc, 1 casual at least) - i will continue Enzo Npv + scars (chevvy needs it :P) + redo fully Isao and Virgile And for mod, i worked on the collab with Mel, working on refits but i really don't like that, maybe bc i don't use body mods (and other one dropped never enough of big boobs in this game), so i feel no interest doing this ...

Writing

I finished chapter 4 of Virgile x Eve \o/ ... in french. Time to spend hours of translation, rewrite some parts because finally it's not that good, adding things, removing. But true writing parts is finally done. I have a VP idea, but i really needed to write the scene, because i won't do 75 pics for a story, but there was many things i wanted to tell. How Enzo secretly defied the clan's ban to see his brother Virgile again, how he came up with the idea and how it came to fruition. And it starts with a confrontation with his father, 19yrs brat finally understands things about his papa too ... Just a snippet poorly translate :

Therein lay the crux of the problem. He just understood it. They'd been arguing about it for a week, and Enzo had just put his finger on why. It wasn't a question of pride, of absurd parental authority, but of mourning. Grieving for someone who's still alive, but whom they can no longer see. A son, a brother. A sudden wave of sadness swept over him, his proud face replaced by that of a bewildered young man, almost a little boy. Even his voice softened. "Papa, keeping the car won't bring him back. You've already kept all his memories, I …" The long, dejected sigh stopped him in his sentence. His father crushed his cigarette stub, and he suddenly saw him hunched over, crushed by the weight of sadness, suddenly looking old. "I miss him so much…"

So i will do a 2 or 3 parts story about Enzo finally comes to NC for the first time and find his brother. But for this, i need to update Enzo's npv with a younger version. Was before his accident, and i found the perfect style for a real young brat racer in all his confident (need to think about accessories and his tattoos) Look at this brat, with this stupid idea to bleach hair x)

And i continue to give boys some good clothes ! You already saw Isao, and now it's Virgile's turn ♥ But he's easier, i have him since 2 years 1/2, i know his style and i want for him. But i will split in two saves, with his corpo years. But for now, Blue has many nomads outfits, less city ones, but here 2 with some nice ones ♥

Writing

Current fic: La Traes - This is the sequel to my first fic, Bruno from Before, but you could probably read it on its own. La Traes is the spanish name for the childhood game of tag, but it literally means "You carry it." This fic follows the (fluffy) relationship between Bruno, Mirabel, and Antonio, and is an experiment where I work through how trauma can rob us of childhood, and how we might possibly heal and get a little bit of it back.

Bruno from Before - My first fic! It takes place about 7 months after the movie. An exploration of Mirabel and Bruno's relationship post movie. Mirabel begins to learn more about Bruno from before the walls and is determined to help him find his way back.

Alma, After - I love Alma's character. This is a little dabble I wrote about her grief, and it ended up being a bit of a epilogue to Bruno from Before. Chronologically, it hits somewhere in the middle of La Traes.

right now, you're helping the dogs get comfortable with their players - he catches snippets of you assessing each of their personalities to see which dog would be most like them

"she's cute, eh?" kuroo nudges him on the shoulder, "i know i didn't give you the full brief - she runs a rescue agency and does photoshoots and other projects with the dogs to get them adopted. kind of cool, no?"

he watches you giggle as a golden retriever licks hinata's face, bokuto howls with a husky who has shockingly similar hair colour to him, and atsumu is giving treats to a shiba inu

"ah, kodzuken, right? you're just in time. i watched your honkai stream the other day, actually. i asked kuroo for you personally, y'know?"

he can only nod when you finally approach, blush across his face despite having other people talking about his online work to him. he's saved though, when a small dog with curly white hair toddles up to him.

"oh, udon! y'know, she's actually mine, an older dog who didn't get adopted, so i decided to keep her! she's honestly like a cat, though - smart, 'cause she's part poodle, but clingy because she's also a maltese!"

he leans down to pet the dog, who is cautious but receptive, and you continue gushing,

"she's never actually approached anyone before! she doesn't really like people, and she's pretty lazy. maybe it's 'cause she was watching your stream with me?"

he's always preferred cats-- hell, his friends compare him to one all the time-- but for the rest of the day you've got him following you around like he's one of the puppies you take care of

i hope you like dogs lmao... if not, we can just imagine it's kittens 😅 i didn't get fully into the fluff but i couldn't help but write this concept - ofc you and him get to know each other after this when he musters up the courage to ask for your number! tysm for your request love!! <3

this was a lovely list of questions, and i enjoyed looking back over my works! if nothing else for me, this year was great for fic writing at least :D

i published 13, worked on about 11 other wips. woah

i worked on a chapter of a collab fic, which i've never done before!

probably chicago pd inspired me most this year (it falls perfectly in that area of the characters being brilliant yet trapped in source media that's good but flawed)

8 different fandoms

upstead! i went Through some stuff with this ship this year my lord. (also the sylki obsession + reylo obsession that never seems to die)

julian devorak Captured My Heart. i didn't expect to like his character that much when i started playing the arcana but i absolutely fell for him <3

both of the above were new for me this year!

ooh it's difficult to choose but love languages meant the most to me. (also, honourable mention to the as yet unpublished, unfinished, untitled upstead wip i have on the backburner. that one is really close to my heart.)

bittersweet made me the happiest, i had SO much fun writing it i could not shut up the whole time. i made my irls read the fic, i was that happy with it

this one's easy - ice cube was the most satisfying to finish. it was an idea i had in the wip folder for a long time, and also, it gave me a chance to revisit a ship/fandom i fell off writing for years ago, which was nice

most difficult would probably also be love languages just because of the format. (i wanted it to be a 5 + 1 things fic but ran out of time so 5 things it is.) time period, chapter titles, pov, so many decisions to make! plus it's the longest thing i've written so far.

hmm easiest to write might be dip of every neck. (maybe because it was largely inspired by a scene in another fic that i love)

shortest: my chapter of i <3 u, a collab work where each chapter had a 127 character limit (37 words). longest: love languages (8600 words).

ooh i listened to a bunch of music so if i start listing it'll just turn into spotify wrapped, but i listened to a lot of hozier (ofc), chance peña has good writing songs, and also billie eilish's new album was so good

MAN i went through so many terrible title ideas for balanced dualism

can i get one conversation at least is my favourite title, i mean it's a lyric but i love it. it was inspired by an upstead edit i saw on tiktok with that song, ugh it was great

“Jay watches her silhouette leave. Sweet dreams, he thinks, hoping it’ll at least be true for Hailey.” - penance (wip but that's the last published line)

ooh i mean i never expected to continue writing canon x oc fic this year and yet here i am!

as well as microsoft word, i discovered 4thewords this year (i liked its gamification). i write by hand when i have snippets that pop into my head randomly

i don't do a whole lot to celebrate finishing a fic per se, but after i've published them i always give them about a week to marinate before rereading them

nothing gives you the motivation to write more than reading more! fic and novels both. (also scrolling lists of prompts forever but-)

I've been working on my collab with the wonderful @pato-roldnart for @carryon-reverse-bang, and here's a snippet (Simon's POV):

I fall in love with the way he brushes his teeth, his expression so fucking serious and fingers meticulous as he tortures his gums after one of his evening walks. I’m enamoured with the soft tone his voice takes when he speaks to Viola, crouched down on the floor to stroke her behind the ears while he whispers sweet nothings into her fur. I adore how loose and vulnerable he looks when he’s about to doze off on the sofa, his gaze soft, shoulder pressed to mine while he’s resting his back on my wing. His head lolls back and forward as he makes a disgruntled little sound and moves closer instead of pulling back. And I know I should just tell him to go to bed—he was up studying until late yesterday, and he looks exhausted—but I wrap my wing around his shoulder instead, pulling him closer. Baz rests his head on me, his hand moving while his eyes stay closed. His palm is cold against my chest, to I hold his hand and warm it up with mine.

I don’t move for ages, until Netflix asks if we’re still watching and I can’t remember what the film was about.

How can you fall in love with someone even more, every day that goes by?

“How do you know that I’ve changed, though?” Draco points out, his tone a bit more tense than it was before, even though his voice is soft like a feather. It feels almost intimate to have this conversation on the kitchen floor, whispering to each other while they’re so close. “Maybe I am just the awful bully who made your life a misery throughout school.”

“You’re not anymore,” Harry insists, one hundred percent sure about his own words.

“Potter, I tried to kill you,” Draco says through gritted teeth. “I used my magic to hurt you over and over again.”

“Draco, I came closer to killing you than you ever did,” Harry points out with a raised eyebrow.

“It is not a competition.”

ofc the bp members care about success and stats to some degree but ngl this whole solo chapter has given off more of the vibes that they're just excited to finally some creative freedom. they are finally able to exist outside the yg/teddy formula and they seem so happy. there are exceptions to this ofc, e.g. rca definitely prioritized success over artistry hence the 3 random collabs they shoved onto alter ego at the last minute which lisa did agree to, and yeah rosie did post a lot about apt chart positions but she gets a pass bcs nobody expected that song to be as huge as it is. people forget how genuinely impressive it is for a kpop song to chart so high AND be a song that the general public have *actually* heard (yes this is who shade. i have still to this day never heard even a snippet of that song. how is it charting still?)

and yes there is nothing embarrassing about him talking about wanting to have statistical/numerical success. as anon said, there's nothing wrong with having ambition. in fact you *should* have ambition and you *should* have the hunger for success. sadly for him and the rest of his group, as always, it's their fans that let them down. if their fans weren't so loud and arrogant about making fun of other artists for wanting to be successful then maybe the og anon would never have sent that ask and none of us would be having this conversation rn

yes, i agree but i think in some ways the pinks are an anomaly! imagine being limited and restricted for years with ur creative output, of course u are gonna be especially excited to create once u get the chance, without worrying too much about how it will perform. plus, the pinks are at a point in their careers where they can be sure that whatever they released is somewhat commercially successful! for instance, ae for sure did not perform as well as they had initially hoped, but (no offence) it would have done even worse had lisa not been already famous and well-known! but still, i know the pinks say they don’t care — and i believe them to some extent, cause i do think they really made these albums for fans and to celebrate their creative freedom — but i don’t think they would have enjoyed it if their albums had each sold zero copies lol

but anw, i agree! it’s okay that he wants to be successful and is willing to put in the work, and if the fans would shut up and stop harassing other idols it would be even better

sometimes non lyric music is nicer for the ears too as we have all been so caught on with whats all current and latest groups to follow. I think you just got to pick someone or maybe handful of songs that you like rather than saying you like every song they ever do.

tiktok do be ruining music for me tho im so uncertain about this whole listening to the same short clip of the same song with same dance moves what do u really get out of it in the long run? then you go on youtube and its still filled with these short clips of idols doing something with another idol blah blah blahhhhhhh.

i rather i like a whole song that i can keep going back to bc it made me feel good listening to it not something i go back too just bc they force a song out to be popular / obnoxious. lowkey tho these groups also seem to pick a member for one part in every song they ever release its getting anoying asf, like felix for example and jongho another example they just give them one small task in the same fashion all the time. i get it felix has deep voice and jongho can sing high notes well but damn im sure they can do other things too?

otherwise it seem like they dont really put the members to their full use. i loved kingdom tho it was refreshing to see them actually collabing and doing fun concepts that they came up with themselves. but these new songs lately i almost know how it going to sound before it been released. i think we just kid ourselves into thinking it a whole new song and its not just kpop alone its all music. thats delusion bruh. hence why kpop is just like regular pop nothing terribly different just slightly altered each time hence why more songs be flopping and groups are less popular mvs dont even reach over 100mil not like before where it was near 300mil years ago. cause no one consuming no full song anymore just snippets of idols real talents and segments of song that make the song more viral than the song itself. im sorry for rambling but nobody talking about this? we just consuming like it normal.

bestie vibes only! I wanted to try and draw their personality differences Cyrus More outgoing while Kei is more (super) shy.

Thinking of their world having mild fantasy/scifi like aliens exist and live among us, so, Cyrus can still be an alien. Anyways, I think Cyrus and Kei "meet" online seeing each other's photos on social media. Cyrus is micro influencer making vlogs on fashion, being an alien on Earth, GRWM, etc. Just youre typical vlogger maybe some slight edge to nerd with some gaming, anime/cosplay, kinda stuff. While not super popular he still has a sizable following. Big enough to get some modeling gigs and invited to influencer meet ups.

Kei started posting faceless pics (like scenery, the game he just bought/beat, tickets to the movie he saw, food, etc). He then started making silent/faceless vlogs and started growing a small following. Even in some of his vlogs he'd show his face (masked) or small voice snippets. As he gets more confidence he shows more, but is usually asked or crops his face out and voice clips are short.

Kei has been following Cyrus for a bit. Cyrus recently found Kei's channel and accounts and started interacting. Liking posts, leaving comments, and even shouting him out in a video(Kei lost his mind and got too nervous to post for a while due to increase in subs). Cyrus ends up reaching out and wanting to meet up due to them in the same internet sphere, overlap in interests, and living in close proximity. Kei gets worried about making content, but Cyrus reassures him its just for fun(but isn't shooting down that they might be filmed).

Kei almost bails but they do end up meeting up and having a good time! They met up at a cafe and did some shopping and walking around town. Each time Cyrus wanted to take pics or film he'd ask and before posting he sent a copy to Kei to make sure he was okay and comfortable with the video/photos(Kei does the same since he did).

They become friends hanging out together(for collabs and just as friends). Sometimes Mark, Cyrus' roommate/boyfriend, tags along and later Jay, Kei's future boyfriend, will also tag along.

I drew this to talk about their different behaviors not their initial meeting so heres that now lol

Cyrus is very outgoing and extroverted. You can see that thru his posts and vlogs. Showing his full face and body, speaking on camera, trying new things constantly and showing his mistakes(like failed cooking not being racist/problematic lmao). While, Kei is very shy and introverted. He also has extreme anxiety to the point of him wanting to delete his social media constantly. Part of the reason he hides himself is due to safety (has a huge fear of stalkers) and due to over analyzing himself. Making vlogs has helped him gain confidence tho trying new things and doing things alone. After Cyrus and Kei's first vlog, He had a boost in confidence and started adding more voice clips and face(even included full face). In public Cyrus def takes the lead of planning what they do, where they go, does most of the talking, and so on. In private, Kei starts to open up more with being more chatty, and planning more of the homebody stuff.

These two end up growing very close to the point they seemed childhood friends. Later they even end up in bit of a polycule with their boyfriends.

Once you've confirmed that you've turned off the recording and your computer is shut off, you collapse on your bed. Feeling woozy and sluggish, an arm flops across your closed eyes. This was by no means the first time Soonyoung has been in your thoughts during a livestream. Even now after all that, you feel yourself clench instinctively, the feeling blossoming even more because he had been watching you. Talking to you. Commanding you.

Fuck.

You're afraid that once you get a real taste of him you won't be able to let him go. Ever. You'll want him more than he wants you and you're not sure if you can handle that.

But this collaboration is happening. You might as well get the chance to fuck him once in your life than never at all.

Tears wash away in the shower, disappearing down the drain. For the hundredth time, you push down your feelings and let the warm water soothe away the aches and pains instead. Self-care is a must. Fluffy towels dry away the moisture, lotion to keep your skin smooth, and comfy granny pajamas to curl up under your clean bedsheets. Time for a good wallow in your feels.

That makes you laugh and turn back to Soonyoung with a devious smirk, hand brushing against his bulging cheek. "Wanna tell 'em, tiger boy?"

It's a mocking tone you use, the ball gag still in his mouth obviously preventing the man from uttering anything except incomprehensible sounds at this point. He's not below begging in whatever way desired — rather be drowning in your arousal than his own saliva — and raises his eyebrows pleadingly. Dancer hips hump up pathetically but oh-so-temptingly, another strangled whine thrown in for good measure and shiny eyes threatening to tear up. 

Of course, you concede to finally taking it and helping with his boxers after removing the leash that's left pretty red streaks across his forearms showing where he strained against the binding. Your hands brush tenderly across the marks, a questioning hum while you wait for him to collect himself to respond.

"Guess we should," Soonyoung eventually chokes out in a raspy voice, "ya know…" a little too eager in the way he reaches for your hips, "demonstrate."

You click your tongue and gently yank on the collar before he can touch. His upper body jerks forward, merely inches from your face, nose brushing against his. 

"I don't remember you having the control here, Hoshi."

"Ah, but don't forget to lemme know if I'm doing a good job like before… "

And with that, you respond by pushing against his chest after the saucy wink and smirk sent your way. Urging your best friend to lay down on his back so you can place your knees around his waist, untying one side of your panties with a flourish while he rushes to slide a naughty hand over to assist with the other. Across the room they fly, joining the discarded toys on the floor with the nastiest splat imaginable.

"Anytime," Seokmin leans back with a smug smile despite your sarcasm, "I look forward to seeing the results."

"That's because it won't be your heart that's being broken."

"I was in the exact place a year ago and look what happened — thanks to your encouragement, no less. So, don't think like that. I have a good feeling."

"You say that but it's better to brace myself for the inevitable heartbreak, no?" You stand up and push in your chair. "Either way, I expect to be taken out for ice cream to soothe my dick-whipped woes."

Seokmin opens the door for you and you duck under his arm as he shakes his head with a good-natured smile. "You're whipped for something, that's for sure. Fine, it's a date. Perhaps even a double-date. I look forward to meeting this tiger boy of yours in person."
