why you may ask? JUST LOOK AT IT!! its so unorginized and just so messy looking! also i want to redo the intro art and make it better ya know?

like if i try to fish out my old one it looked cleaner BUT to bland but this one is better but to detailed and all over the place so i want to re do it so i can finally make it perfect (to my liking)

So i’ve been tempted to remake my intro post because, ngl kinda hate my first one pf.

Hello! You can call me Ghost, Para or Pollux, and ill probably sign off with either of those names (for the funsies), you can use they/he + any neos for me, also feel free to do pronoun checks! They change a lot :]

My favorite whump tropes are definitely (also warning for whump typical violence ! :])

Captivity (literally my favorite thing, being trapped with a monster with no way to escape? whumperflies,,)

Defiant whumpees who are broken by the end of it (and this can go in two ways!!! Whumpee being shattered, feeling worthless, like they have no place in the world, they flinch and tense, they cry into their pillow at night. They lean into caretakers touch, the first kind touch they’ve felt in years, maybe. 

But on the other hand, whumpees that are Broken, like shards of glass. They never lost their spark nor their defiance, they killed whumper in cold blood and pushed away any horror or regret they felt to it. They escaped into the night with nothing, they fed on garabge and did odd jobs, theyre drunk constantly, they do anything to distract themself. They snap at anyone who looks at them with an ounce of pity, they wipe the blood pouring from their nose and grin with bloodied teeth, “is that all you’ve got?” they taunt, because they’ve been through it all before, they push away the pain because pain is life, and they will not stop, they will not give in)

Sadistic and intimidate whumpers (they make me BLUSH!! God,, the mix of sweet pet names to kicking whumpee in the ribs, or trailing a finger down whumpees cheeks before grabbing whumpees hair and dragging them around)

Following the topic above, manhandling (YES FLING WHUMPEE AROUND, GRAB THEIR HAIR AND SLAM THE BACK OF THEIR HEAD INTO A WALL TIL THEY BLEED)

Failed rescue/escape or being caught in the process of being rescued/escaping (especially when the whumper is only amused by their actions, like?? The amount of people that they Know they have, they dont have to drag whumpee around, they dont have to yell or shout, because whumpee is already wrapped around their finger. The amount of power in whumper sneaking up on whumpee, not even angry, just pleasantly amused, because its a game for whumper!! I will Never be over it)

Hiding injuries (ESPECIALLY WITH WITH DEFIANT WHUMPEES,,, whether they hide their injuries from whumper or caretaker,, hmmmmnnnnpos)

Branding (,,, oh dont make me blush,,, its just?? Theres something about it AND collars that make me sooo,,,,,, mmmmmnn)

Pet whump (im iffy on pet whump sometimes, can make be a bit uncomfy. The dehumanization both makes me lean away and lean in, theres also something about the possessiveness that makes me sfhausdosdsa. Its good usually, and when it isnt i just click away :])

Not exactly new to the whump community, i just thought it’d be cool to make a more up to date intro post!

Also, i will go through periods of inactivity (because i forget tumblr exists and also just lose any motivation sometimes), no i will not be apologizing for that pf

the sad tale of chara and asriel

(undertale spoilers)

In New Home, the monsters tell Frisk what they know of Asriel and Chara's fate, but they only know a fragment of the story. The full story of what happened to Asriel and Chara must be pieced together from clues scattered through multiple playthroughs. Here is a chronological explanation of what happened to Asriel and Chara, from their meeting, to their deaths, to their "reincarnations." It all starts with Chara's fall.

Note: This is a remake of the original “the sad tale of chara and asriel” post.

★ chara’s fall into the underground in 201X

A long time ago, Chara climbed Mt. Ebott for an unhappy reason related to hating humanity. However, Chara tripped, causing them to fall into the underground. Asriel found them injured, so he took Chara back to the castle. This happened on a date at the end of 201X.

★ chara lived with the dreemurrs

Chara lived with the Dreemurrs in New Home and became best friends with Asriel. The two enjoyed playing together, whether it be doing creepy faces or playing tricks.

★ the pie incident and beginnings of the plan

Inspired by the pie incident in which Asgore fell ill due to buttercups, Chara came up with a plan to die by eating buttercups (”the flowers”), perhaps to create the illusion of a natural death. Asriel was opposed to the idea, but Chara convinced Asriel. Together, the two would free everyone.

★ one day, chara became ill

Chara fell ill “one day” due to the intentional buttercup poisoning. On their deathbed, they requested to see the flowers from their village (which are not buttercups). Only Asriel knew that it was part of Chara’s plan to become ill in order for the two to leave the underground together and collect six (souls). The request to see Chara’s favorite flowers would serve as a reason to take Chara’s body out of the underground.

★ the next day, chara died

The next day, Chara died in their own bed.

★ asriel absorbed chara’s soul, and chara had control

Asriel absorbed Chara’s soul as part of the plan, becoming a being with incredible power. However, it was actually Chara who picked up their own body and carried it out of the underground.

★ the villagers thought asriel killed chara

Chara’s body was carried onto the golden flowerbed. However, the humans saw Asriel (a horrible beast with unfathomable power) holding Chara’s body. Believing that this monster killed a child, the humans attacked Asriel. Chara wanted to attack the humans with their full power, but Asriel refused to fight back. Asriel had agreed to get six souls, but he had not agreed to kill everyone. Because Asriel resisted, their plan failed.

★ asriel's death and the golden flowers

Asriel took Chara’s body with him back home. Upon reaching the castle garden, he died and turned into dust. Sticky seeds also ended up in the garden, more than likely having stuck to Asriel after he reached the village’s flowerbed. Asriel and Chara’s combined soul is never mentioned.

★ chara’s grave

Chara’s body was placed in a coffin in the castle’s basement. When Asgore declared war on humans, Toriel left him and took Chara’s body with her. She buried Chara’s body in the Ruins, where Asriel had found them. Chara’s favorite flowers grow above their unmarked grave, either because the seeds also stuck to Chara’s body or because Toriel planted them there.

★ the first golden flower

Many years later after the other humans fell down, Asgore asked Alphys to create a power that would free the monsters. She needed a vessel to hold the monster souls she planned to extract from the fallen monsters. She chose the first golden flower from Asgore’s garden, which grew from the sticky seeds that came from the outside world. Alphys injected determination into this flower in an attempt to give it the will to live. The experiment appeared to have failed.

★ asriel’s resurrection as flowey

Alphys’ experiment had not failed. The flower came to life, but it was Asriel. After his dust spread across the garden, Asriel’s essence lived on in the first golden flower. However, he only woke up after Alphys returned the flower to Asgore’s garden.

★ chara is dead... until "you” wake them up

Unlike Asriel, Chara remains dead until the start of the game. “Your” power awakened Chara from death, and they become a part of Frisk. Frisk’s determination, their red soul, Chara’s name being called by Flowey, and the player naming Chara likely contributed to Chara’s revival. Chara begins speaking through Frisk ("It's me, Chara.") only after all the monsters in the Ruins are eliminated.

tl;dr

Chara fell into the underground where they met the monster prince, Asriel. The two soon became best friends. After a buttercup poisoning incident, Chara came up with a plan, which required Asriel to help them acquire human souls. Asriel reluctantly agreed, and when Chara died, he absorbed their soul. 

Using Chara's last wish as a motive, Asriel (controlled by Chara) brought Chara's body to the surface. When attacked by the villagers, Asriel refused to fight, which ended in his death. Asriel's dust spread across the castle garden and presumably onto a golden flower seed he'd unwittingly brought back with him from the surface. This seed grew into the first golden flower, which would later reawaken as Flowey thanks to Alphys' experiments. 

Meanwhile, Chara never reawakens until Frisk, a vessel filled with determination, falls on their grave. Perhaps this along with Flowey calling for Chara (and maybe even the player naming them) is what gets them to wake up.
