Okayy I think when Jax is talking about if pomni thinks gangle can be happy without the comedy mask, i think maybe Jax sorta tried to befriend her but she was never happy and he assumed it was because of her mask and not because of himself?

Idk i hope they explore past relationships more next episode cus everyone seems to be aware of jaxs behaviour more then pomni is? I think there some past stuff that went down..

Also when jax is talking about ragatha seeming manipulative, i think when jax first came ragatha was quick to come on to him and he probably felt like she was taking advantage of new players who were vulnerable to make friends

I think him and ragatha definitely have past beef and i think jaxs irredeemable action is he befriending pomni to get back at ragatha.

Like his apology to pomni seems sarcastic, he looks at ragatha full of mischief and zooble tells pomni to ignore him. Like maybe jax and ragatha go through this song and dance with every new comer.

So in each of the guardian's themes from BOTW you can faintly hear the morse code for S.O.S at different points in their songs, right? (along with other morse code messages that I don't know the meaning of)

I mean u were still amazed like wow i'm in a virtual reality type of reaction. And about what u look like idk that up to yourself but lets say Ur like a type of animal could be a cat or something else. U were always ecstatic to be in the circus and everybody even Caine were surprised. Like it not everyday in this virtual reality u see a person who is more than happy to be there. (also i'm not really gonna add Kaufmo since their is little to no info bout him)

Okay now to the good stuff

So really your weren't stupid to not notice how Jax would occasionally "look ur way to see something else" nor to notice how differently he treated u compared to the others. Either he would go out of his way to be nice or mean to you.

You were chatting bout random nonsense with zooble when she said

"Hey Y/n do you see how much of a dumb### Jax's looks like just looking at you"Looking at you then at Jax then at you.

"no lemme check"You turned around to see jax looking away from you to above you? yea he was doing the "look ur way to see something else" crap again.

You three walk all he way to the room corridors and enter Ragatha's Room and discus how you would get Jax to confess his feelings to you.

"Okay so how should we do this" says Ragatha with some confusion in her face

"Well we know that Jax is a very Um- how should I say this es stupid and lets just say hes like a little puppy who follows you around" Says zooble before you with shook face say

"WAIT what is that supposed to mean I never see him trailing behind me"

"He does he always trails behind you buts ur either dumb or blind since u never see him literary behind u. ALL THE TIME" Says Zooble

"Well um- we should get started with the plan and stop taking bout how Jax is a little twerp" Says Ragatha with a bit of an annoyed face splatted in her face

"Okay okay well first of all since we know Jax is like a little dog with nothing else to do than follow Y/n we should..........."Says Zooble spilling out what the plan would be about.

Well basically the plan is make Jax follow u around Y/n complements Jax every time he does something for her even the smallest of things like letting u have the first of anything picking up flowers for u,him pranking u and much more.

Everything was going according to the plan Jax being Jax follows you around and sneaks up on you with a centepied (which ur scared of) and lands it right besides u trying to get a scared yelp from u but instead u just threw it away and said

"Jax u little bad bunny don't do that again" while pinching his cheek just slightly

"~wait you aren't mad?" Says Jax while becoming a blushing mess

"no of course not bunny boy come on lets go outside"

you two go outside and jax keeps trying to make your way there horrible by trying to trip ur feet over and over again but failing miserably.

Once you both are by the lake you start to look around and see Zooble and Ragatha watching impatiently.

"So what are we doing here again?" says Jax

"nothing much just .. Taking in some fresh air i guess"

"Y/n there is no fresh air here u know that right?" says Jax with a serious face

"Oh um i meant like ..... space apart of everyone"

"ok i guess then what should we do?" says Jax with a sly smile appearing in his face

Both spend 2 hours trying all the rides over and over, Jax never saying crap

As the day ends in the digital realm first comes the digital dinner the classic chicken and veggies.

After the game which took around 30 min like damn these dudes have great hiding spots ,Caine gave everybody the green light to finally have there alone time/sleep

"Hey Y/n did Jax say anything to you?" Says Zooble quickly before she forgets about it

"No ... what should we do?"

"Um okay new plan......." Says zooble making the new plan

Basically make gangle distract Jax long enough for everybody to leave to there rooms then gangle runs away, Then y/n will sneak up on Jax and spill the beans herself.

Everything went accordingly as planed gangle ran away just as she noticed everybody gone. Then Jax shrugs it of and slowly walks up to his room until...

"Hey Jax" "what do you want?" "not much just wanna talk to you...bout something"

He says before being interrupted by a kiss

"does that answer ur question?"

"UM what was that?"... bb-but i guess it does"

"that's great! its official were dating"

I need a fic/AU/or whatever where the TADC cast meets the FNAF characters.

It can be with any characters but I really like to think that Gangle, Puppet and the Mangle would be friends. Puppet would make Gangle custom masks while Mangle would prob teach Gangle how to fix her masks ig? And teach her how to climb the ceiling with her strings lmao.

I imagine Gangle wearing the newly made mask by Puppet(with the rosy cheeks cus yea) and Jax pushing Gangle, trying to break the mask. But the mask isn't as fragile so Jax tries to step on it but instead slips and falls.

Also, Gangle scaring everybody by hanging on her strings and legit crawling on the ceiling lmao.

I also think Circus Baby or Glamrock Freddy would get along with Pomni. I don't really know why. Just thought they would.

Maybe even Ragatha and Ballora.

The characters (that were made at the moment):

Pomni - The newest addition to the digital musical world. For whatever reason, she first popped into the world in a jester costume and stayed like that for probably three days.

- Eventually, Caine changed her appearance to look more princess-like. Since, as far as he’s observed from her behavior, he said that she gives off the vibes of a disney princess; feeling trapped, but sings to pass the time, but still looking for a way out of her imprisonment.

(I wanted to make her wear something on her head, but whether it was a crown or jester hat, it made her head look stupid. So no headwear for Pomni in this AU huhu).

- Not that she ever said it out loud, but it was growing to be very obvious how she actually enjoyed singing. She felt ridiculous at first, but hey? She may think the adventures are awful, but why should she think the same way about the musical numbers? It was the nicest way to pass the time in here, compared to the other shit Caine puts them through.

- Caine was about to give her a more uuhhh…. soft? genre, because of the doll thing. But, Ragatha asked for a more flashy look for her character. (Mainly because, she was getting sick of being compared to the generic doll personality.)

- It wasn’t a bad choice of genre for her character either. She had the voice for it, and knew the moves.

Jax - Doesn’t exactly have a singular genre he specializes at… He just sings “modern” songs, like rock and rapping. He just goes with whatever suits the mood, in Caine’s cued musical numbers. But, when it’s his own will, he’ll do it in however the hell he wants.

- Does he like it? Not really, but he’s pretty confident with his voice. He’s sick of the singing and dancing, but pretending to be a celebrity in his own delusions, makes him feel less frustrated.

Gangle - The only one in the “cast” who’s type of music doesn’t fit with everything else. To her disappointment J-pop and anime songs, aren’t exactly suitable for musicals. So, Caine only allowed regular pop.

- But, not to worry, while she can’t sing it in the musical numbers, she’s still allowed to during karaoke nights and in the comfort of her own room.

- Another way of making it up to her, Caine let Gangle dress up as a J-pop idol anyway.

- (I have no idea for her “solo song” yet, sorry. Maybe you guys can throw in some ideas.)

Kinger - He plays the piano. (Literally the only instrument he knows how to play.) He prefers playing classical music, and singing slowl romance songs, but he will sing in the same style the others are when he’s supposed to.

- He’s usually an unhinged old man. The only time he’s ever calm is when he’s playing on his piano, like he was serenading a ghost of someone he loved. (Ahem…)

- All characters have a preferred genre/taste in music. But, that doesn’t mean that’s the only genre they can sing.

This New NPC was...intreating to say the least. not sure what adventure she stumbled upon. maybe it was meant for Gangle judging from the hybird's aesthetic style. yet Ryuko idea as fun was to... exercise, which confused her cus her rather unfit form.

but even after building up a sweat. the black haired woman suggest hitting the showers her eyes would stare up at the other woman "I..can't really take off the sui-"

something i genuinely adore about tadc is how painfully flawed everyone in the circus is. and not in a small way

everyone does SOMETHING that negatively impacts the others. but it makes the fact that you are supposed to sympathize with and really connect with them all the more potent. because its easy to want to put a bunch of characters in a bad situation together and to just have them all be nice to each other and everyone and never make mistakes because theres no reason to hurt each other, and most of them dont TRY to, but the way they cope is so, so realistic for each of their personalities, and it doesnt always mesh with the others, and sometimes it exceeds self destructive and Just Hurts Others, Too

they still generally care about each other and the mistakes they make and the ways they end up hurting each other dont lose their weight but like. it doesnt take away from their humanity and the fact that they are all trying so hard to manage in an awful situation

and the characters seem to have sooome sort of understanding of this too. not fully, because the characters dont tend to be 100% communicative, but when they hurt each other, it often makes EVERYONE uncomfortable. because these are the only people they have. these are their friends. and theyre all coping. but it doesnt change how much it affects them (best illustrated by ragathas lines at the start of ep 2 or gangles 'i love her, but after a while it gets kinda hard to tell how genuine shes actually being'). its not all like this, theres a good amnt of variety, but characters knowing this but not really knowing what to do about it is very painful in an effective way

(i think a subtle example of this is how zooble handles gangles situation in ep 4- they were so genuinely trying to help her because they care. but could tell as the day went on that oh, this is not working at all and its making things worse, and they leave gangle alone- something that very genuinely couldve been the moment she abstracted, because of the mask zooble gave her- and we dont get to have a super blatant explanation of zoobles thoughts on it, but they reach a fairly healthy conclusion about it that helps both of them, and i like that a lot, because on paper zooble could be placed at fault but the narrative doesnt dwell on it excessively, because thats not the point. i dont know if that tangent makes sense but i think about it sometimes. i think zooble wasnt 'to blame' but it was still a mistake, which is a hard balance to strike, and having them help at the end feels extremely effective at rounding it off!!!)

but like. in general its complicated balancing making characters in a bad situation act flawed because it can run the risk of seeming like the story is scolding them or blaming them for the situation theyre in, or like youre expected to not sympathize with them despite it (though the inverse also has complications- if characters in a bad situation never mess up, it feels unrealistic and hard to relate to, and can imply that their innocence is why whats happening to them is bad at all), but the show handles it so well

even the characters who are genuinely trying all try in different ways- some of them have similar outlooks or attitudes towards these thing but theres vital differences for ALL of them- sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. in fact some of the more painful mistakes characters have made in the show have come from them so genuinely trying (like the thing i mentioned w zooble, or basically Everything Ragatha Does, or pomnis first attempt at helping gangle, etc), which hits harder than if every mistake characters made had wholly selfish and cruel goals.

i mean, there is a selfishness to many of the characters' actions but imo not in a way thats not warranted. because all of them are in a horrible setting. its uncomfortable to watch characters be selfish. but it is a natural instinct to survive. its not the foundation of most of their actions, but when it is, its uncomfortable but hard to completely disparage them for in a way that makes you feel kinda conflicted

and like. it hurts to be doing your best and for that to make things worse, but its what happens often in the show. because no one in a bad situation is gonna handle it well. by the very nature of trying to survive something is gonna give, but it makes the themes of the show so much more powerful. that making sure the people around you dont feel unloved, cherishing them and finding meaning with others is no less important just because everyone is fucking up. it complicates things, for sure, but it doesnt make those characters exempt fromt this. theres a reason pomni tells gummigoo that she doesnt want "anyone" to feel like theyre nothing, and that kinger doesnt add ANY quallifiers to making sure people feel wanted and loved (not that i think either of them were thinking SUPER super hard, but it conveys smth from the perspective of the narrative

it gets complicated when you add in jax for sure, since i think on the surface he IS the exception to this concept- none of the characters like him, including pomni or kinger. but i think this is something thats gonna be examined further down the line, bc hes the main complicating factor in this reading of the show, but i feel like thats on purpose. hes universally disliked (and so is caine, in a different way) and his actions arent mistakes. they are him coping. the show has made it clear that he can be a complex person AND also a piece of shit. his actions dont detract from the fact that hes a person and the show reminds us of this. so it makes things so messy, but im genuinely super excited to see how the show examines that. where his character goes is, imo, going to be a massive piece of how this show fleshes out this concept

So anyways im discarding all opinions and posting my tadc au idea for possible feedback and thoughts.

The Amazing Dreamscape Circus!

Basis-Some sort of testing other than yknow, C&A headsets and whatnot. Sends a patient home and they fall asleep and end up in a strange collective dreamscape! Pomni fell asleep and woke up in the circus, slightly calmer cus you know, maybe its a lucid dream? But as Caine and Ragatha try to explain to a growingly frantic pomni whats going on, Jax butts in and just says basically that theres no waking up. You are infact permanently here in the dreamscape circus and you either end up a nightmare or live on in dream hell.

Abstraction- You become a nightmare. Just a large mass of dust and fear. As for the spreading (?) like what happened to ragatha, it kind of just makes you hand dusty and painful.

Extra Notes- Memories work the same! Also, the characters personalities are slightly different! Caine is a tad bit less excited and actually tries to ask the members if hes doing better with keeping them happy! Hes just trying to keep them all from going out of their minds!

Thats all ive got so far regarding generality of it! I have the the character ideas down i just have to actually do the doing of making them!

Random info about my Ribbun au without context (Masterpost ?? maybe)

- Different characters have different amounts of awareness of their past lives

- Gangle being the one who remembers the most (but thinks it’s just fictional scenarios she thought of); Pomni remembers the second most, but it’s significantly less than Gangle

Kinger remembers the least, with Jax following him

- Lacey & Parker (Gangle & Jax in their past lives) went to school together when they were younger & bonded over being extremely troubled in their youth

- Lacey (before putting on the headset) lived with her parents as a college dropout & high support needs autistic person, along with various mental health issues stemming from violent bullying in her past

- Parker… you’ll have to find out

- Gangle & Jax do end up together in the fic, but it doesn’t end well

- Gangle falls in love with the essence of a person Jax doesn’t remember being, & that she doesn’t remember as real

- Jax on the other hand, uses her trust in him to his advantage, for fun

- Entering the digital circus altered his perception of morality in a way; He knows it’s real, but the same kind of “real” as a children’s toy is in our world; he tries to find control in the only way he knows
