hi hi angel :D now, this is my first time drawing a plus size character so im highkey nervous ^^; i hope i didn't accidentally offend you or anyone ;-;

so my thoughts here was that i didn't think victorian style would do well since it's all about the figure (victorian meaning you need an hourglass figure) so i opted for the edwardian promenade dress instead. it has a softer figure and doesn't restrict or actively strangle the wearer ^^;

on the other hand, the fluffy hair is so fun to work with ^^ the curls and the poofiness remind me of the clouds or a big fluffy pillow :D

She ends up in another era and another time, and pairs up with the local Linkle to find a way back home (though jumping through time will absolutely make a great story for the Lucky Clover!) what happens next will (not) surprise you (they get lost again and find themselves in another era, find the local Linkle and…rinse and repeat lmao)

we all love minecraft but if you want to actually cut ties with it (even if just during the boycott)

i totally suggest Vintage Story. I've been playing it off and on for a lil while now and i like it a lot. its like minecraft, to a degree, as a Blocks Crafty Survival Game, but its more focused on wilderness survival and 'realistic' progression from stone age to modernization. it CAN be a lot more difficult if youre more experienced to a casual type of MC experience, as it is definitely survival heavy. i wouldnt let that deter you tho!!

cool stuff it does, that im aware of from playing atm:

EXTREMELY modding friendly apparently. i heard that the devs used to be modders so theyve intentionally designed the game to be more modding friendly. theres a lot of cute mods, including some really nice realism mods that add irl flora, fauna and fungi based on native biomes

the crafting of certain stuff is more hands on. toolmaking requires knapping by chipping away stone or smithing (i havent done it yet but im p sure its also hands on work), and making pottery is hand built by placing and removing voxels

theres some lore on why the world is empty of civilization, though ive only scratched the surface. it seems cool from what ive seen of it so far

domestication via breeding instead of just 'feed animal the right food'. theres a mod that adds genetics to your crossbreeding but i think its both still early n dev and also i. have only read abt it. it looks cool tho!!

the wilderness generation is extremely pretty imo. watching plants sway is very nice

the 'temporal distortion' stuff (that i think is lore related) looks VERY COOL imo. silent hill otherworld + reality glitching shit. its neat.

i feel like the challenging-ness makes progression more satisfying but your mileage might vary.

if youre familiar w/ MC's 'Chisel' mod, i am pretty sure in later progression its built in. neat!

there is a creative mode! and a LOT of neat clutter and building materials.

imo going full caveman mode and throwing spears at animals is kinda thrilling. unga bunga

You kept a secret stash of weed in your room, in a vent obscured by the vines. One night, when you were sure everybody else was asleep or busy in their own rooms, you slipped outside to have a smoke. You hadn't anticipated finding anyone on the way back, but of course, Satan was up.

The house was dim and silent when you cane back in. Shadows stretched long across the floorboards, disturbed only by the soft creak of your steps and the faint scent that followed you like perfume, an earthy musk that was a little too telling. Your limbs felt warm, loose, a slow hum beneath your skin as you moved past the moonlit windows, hoping no one would notice your red eyes or the faint smell. You’d been careful. The joint had been stubbed out outside, the smoke never even touched the interior of the House of Lamentation. You were sure you’d gotten away with it.

Until you turned the corner and saw him.

Satan was walking down the hall, a book tucked under one arm, his expression unreadable in the low light. He must've been in the study–you didn't account for his presence. He didn’t say anything at first. Just studied you. It was odd for you to be walking around at this hour, and did you come from outside? The stillness in his gaze made your breath catch. You got closer and closer, tried to nonchalantly walk past–and it almost worked, but he caught a whiff of the smell you left in your trail. His head turned back as you tried to walk away and he caught your wrist.

“What did you do?” he asked, quiet but pointed, like a dagger sliding beneath your skin.

You tried to play it off. A shrug. A blink. “Nothing.”

But he wasn’t a fool, and you weren’t sober enough to fake it well.

Satan pulled you closer into the light so he could get a good look at you. His grip was firm, not cruel, but urgent. His eyes swept over you before he sighed “Come with me,” he said lowly, dragging you toward his room before you could protest. “If Lucifer sees you like this…” he couldn't even finish saying it. Lucifer would be furious.

He took you upstairs, your heart thumping like a child whos just been scolded. He opened his door and pushed you inside. The door shut behind him with a soft click, sealing the world out. His room smelled like old books and the faintest trace of mint tea. You wobbled slightly as he let go of your arm, already wandering toward the nearest stack of books with the lazy curiosity that came with your high, fingers grazing the precarious piles, towers that'd fall with the slightest push.

You hummed, picking a volume of the native flora and fauna of the Devildom. You flip through colorful and intricate pictures. “Pretty…” you cooed.

Satan was suddenly beside you again, and this time there was no patience in the way he snatched the book from your hands. “Don’t touch anything,” he snapped, though the irritation in his voice barely masked the undercurrent of concern. “You have no idea what you’re holding. That could’ve turned you into a flowerpot.”

You giggled softly at the idea.

He sighed, grabbing your shoulders he pushed you gently onto the bed. His voice was exasperated “Sit. Down.”

You obeyed, half amused, half sheepish, the plush mattress dipping beneath your weight as you plopped down. The room blurred slightly around the edges, there was a soft hum creeping on the edges of your body. Satan stood over you with a look that could have frozen a lesser demon. He pinched the bridge of his nose, exhaling through clenched teeth.

“What am I going to do with you,” he muttered to himself, not for the first time, you were sure. “Do you realize how lucky you are that I found you instead of Lucifer?.”

He kept talking but you were hardly listening anymore, hands fisted in his soft, silk sheets. It was comfortable, really comfortable, so you kicked you legs up and laid down.

He blinked in disbelief and mild annoyance, but he remembered the state you were in, so he stopped his lecturing. You looked at him, smiling. Your eyes were red and glazed over, but the way you looked at him, vulnerable and real, made his cheeks burn.

He ran a hand through his hair. He hesitated before saying “Do you want me to read you a book?” He finally asked, softly.

You perked up slightly, leaning on your elbows. “Yes, please,”. He smiled at your response, you adjusted yourself and made room for him next to you. He picked out a short novel and joined you. He wrapped an arm around you, you nestled into his side. He opened the book and began reading aloud.

His voice was low and steady, threading through the room, soft, almost too soothing. He didn’t rush, didn’t try to fill the silence with too many words. Just let the story drift from his mouth in that calm, deliberate way of his.

You nestled into his side without hesitation, warm and weightless, cheek pressed lightly against his shirt. Your fingers found the edge and held onto it, more instinct than thought. Satan tensed for a moment, he wasn’t used to this, but when you let out a small sigh, loose and content, he relaxed.

He kept reading, even as your breathing slowed. He could feel it now, the way your body softened with sleep, your grip on him going slack. He glanced down to find your eyes closed, mouth parted slightly, face peaceful in a way it rarely was during the day.

He fell silent.

Closing the book with one hand, he set it aside, careful not to jostle you. The lamp’s glow caught on the curve of your cheek, and for a moment he just looked at you, still, vulnerable, far too trusting.

“You'll be the death of me,” he muttered under his breath, lips quirking faintly. But the words had no bite.

He leaned in, pressed a quiet kiss to your forehead, then shifted just enough to lie down beside you, making sure you were tucked in beneath the blanket.

One last thought crossed your mind before you fully succumb to sleep, maybe getting caught wasn't so bad.

Hornetstar wilts under Crocusstar’s pointed gaze. MoonClan isn’t their enemy, but she can’t risk changing that by angering him. What have you gotten us into, Lotus? she thinks, and sighs. Gathering her wits, she looks to Whimsystar and says, “Right. Whimsystar … this can’t go on. Blood has been spilled needlessly, and I’m not willing to risk my warriors’ lives over a petty argument."

Whimsystar looks down at her with a look of pity that makes Hornetstar’s hackles threaten to raise. Careful, careful—this could break bad. 

“I have to admit, it almost feels wrong to go to war with such a small clan,” Whimsystar says, breaking Hornetstar out of her thoughts—and provoking a growl from below.

“What did you just say?” Lotus says, lashing his tail. He takes a step toward the Howling Rock as if to scale it, but he's stopped by a booming voice.

“Enough!” Stonestar cries, digging her claws into the soft moss beneath her paws. “This gathering was meant to bring peace, Lotus, not make matters worse. And Whimsystar-” she turns to her with a stern look- “for the love of StarClan, try not to agitate them more.”

Whimsystar rolls her eyes, but still, she says, “Sorry, Hornetstar. Sorry, Lotus.”

“You're forgiven,” Hornetstar says quickly, not risking giving Lotus a chance to reject the apology. “Really though, Whimsystar, I just … this was a stupid mistake by someone who doesn't know what she's doing in the slightest. And I…” To her horror, Hornetstar finds her voice cracking. Oh, StarClan, no, not in front of all these cats … Out of the corner of her eye, she sees Whimsystar cock her head, and she looks back up, though she can't bring herself to make eye contact. 

“Well, I don't see any point in drawing it out any longer,” Whimsystar says, sparing her from embarrassment, and Hornetstar breathes a sigh of relief. Turning to the crowd, Whimsystar calls, “The war between SerpentClan and GhostClan is over!”

As cheers rise up from the other cats, Hornetstar says, “Great! Uh, I mean, thank you. No, that's not…”

To her surprise, Whimsystar actually laughs a little at that. “I can't say it's not self-serving. Your deputy there’s done a number on some of our cats.”

Stonestar gives her a warning look. “Whimsystar …”

“Hey now, it's a compliment.”

Hornetstar glances down at Lotus. Moonlight still glints on his claws, and she shudders—but for now, he's calmed down. Small miracles. “Alright. Then, that's … is that all?”

Crocusstar nods. “It should be. I don't have any more to say, at least.”

“Well then, I guess we should all say our goodbyes and go. Right?” She glances at Stonestar, who nods. 

With a soft thud, Hornetstar hops down from the boulder and pads over to where Lotus and Marshpaw are sitting. “I think that went well,” she says with a hesitant little smile. 

Marshpaw breathes a sigh of relief. “Thank StarClan that's over,” she says. “Even with just you two and Fauna, it was a lot of work.”

Hornetstar touches her nose to the top of Marshpaw’s head, and the latter purrs and bunts against her jaw. “No kidding,” she sighs. “Speaking of …”

“I'm here!” Fauna comes trotting up to them, his tail held up in greeting. “I was just getting to know some of the other cats. Did you know MoonClan cats smell like fish?”

“Fauna! Be nice!” Marshpaw shushes him with a flick of her tail, though she's still visibly holding back a laugh. 

Hornetstar smiles a little, but the happiness fades from her face when she turns back to Lotus. Without a word, he'd started off back to camp without them, and rather than being irritated by the rudeness, she finds herself relieved that she doesn't have her back to him.
