#mcu endgame

Hey guys, I'm giving a persuasive speech in school next week, and i want to collect some opinions to help, so if you could reblog this to help get it out there, that'd be great

I'm looking at how Avengers: Endgame affected the various character arcs of some of the major characters, including, but not limited to:

-Nat dying so that Clint could go back to his family, implying that her found family (the Avengers) was not as important as biological family

-Tony making the sacrifice play, losing everything he'd worked for, leaving everyone behind, and generally going out the way he always thought he would and never should have had to

-Steve abandoning Bucky and "the end of the line" for a woman he knew for only a short time (i love Peggy, but he’d known Buck his whole life, vs the few months to couple years he knew Peg)

-Bruce combining the brain and the brawn into one person, Professor Hulk, an idea that I'm still not sure about

Please feel free to elaborate or give more information you think would be helpful, I'm looking for all the sources and information I can get. Also feel free to tag/dm me with other stuff you think would be helpful

The invitation for another Iron Man Memorial statue arrives in his inbox at 6 AM. Steve has been to more ceremonies honoring his friend in five years since his return than he cares to count, but he attends them all. And at each one, Steve takes a moment to think about the man. 

Not the genius billionaire playboy philanthropist. 

Not Iron Man. 

Just Tony.

Steve thinks about the last night of Tony’s life, how it was the only time Steve told Tony, “I love you,” and how much Steve regrets that he never said it sooner or will ever again.

Fanfic Search-Need Help!

So I found this fic not long ago on AO3 that was the sweetest thing but now I can find it again. I swear I’ve gone through that site like 6x searching. I’ve even dove into FF.net a few times trying to find this.

it’s a MCU Bucky/Natasha fic. Basically, it’s after Endgame where he remembers her & can’t come to terms with her death so travels back in time with Sam’s help to during the 5yr Snap, to visit her so he can say goodbye and she thinks she’s in a dream talking to his dusted-ghost.

It so sweet & I want to find it again so bad🥲 I’m starting to think I imagined finding it before😂

If anybody could please help me find it, I would be eternally grateful 🥰

funniest thing about the sambucky ship is it’s not even far-fetched we actually have like a lot to work with on the canon front

the therapy scene? rolling down the hill? fixing the boat? the shield training scene? sam spending two years searching for bucky? bucky showing up when sam needed him? the “i love you”?!?!?! good lord we really are well-fed in regards to some of the other mcu ships

I feel weird because there’s so much happening in the MCU rn and the avengers aren’t there anymore. Like what do you mean there’s no more Steve Rogers ? Where’s Natasha ? What’s gonna happen to Clint ? and Bruce ? And Thor who’s gonna be so alone ?

I can’t believe Reed Richards is never gonna meet Tony Stark because he’s dead.

They’re dead and nothing happened.

Like we had two avengers movies before civil war, before they just broke up and everything started falling apart.

Two movies, it’s nothing.

We saw them as friends, as a family, as a team for one movie. A single movie.

It’s not enough. It was nothing. So much potential and they’re just gone.

Don’t get me wrong, I love marvel movies, still do. I love our Captain America, I love Yelena and I think she’s going to be an amazing black widow and ofc I love Riri Williams and I loved her for years but I miss my avengers, I miss how different and fun and sad they were. I miss my team and I wish we had more of them.

I’ll stick to fanfiction and reread comics ofc but it’ll never be the same.

I wish they did more. I wish they were the found family we needed and I’m forever disappointed that they weren’t.

It ended too fast.

I’m watching the Thunderbolts trailer and the tower is empty. There’s no one there anymore as if they were never there before.

It breaks my heart it truly does.

I miss them, they deserved to be a family more than anything ❤️

My favourite part about the scene in endgame where tony says, “Mr. Rogers, I almost forgot, that suit did nothing for your ass,” is the fact that how Steve responds with an unimpressed, “No one asked you to look, Tony,” sounds like they’ve had this conversation before
