I love giant robot games. In Salvage Union RPG, we get an even more giant robot to carry our mecha around it. Twice the fun! Gotta keep it going, though. There's half the fun! Looking after a group vehicle or a community is becoming a more popular theme in modern roleplaying. This game has it down.

New IndieGoGo Reward: #MechaRPG PDF and Custom SRS

Our mutual friend Chris Perrin has decided to help the TJI IndieGoGo campaign by donating PDF copies of @MechaRPG, his non-stop mecha action roleplaying game. 

The Mecha RPG PDF is now a perk for all contributors at the $50 Supporter of the Show level and higher.

In addition, Chris has volunteered to write a custom Setting Reference Schematic (SRS) as a perk for the contributor at the $500 Patron of the Show level. That's about 10 pages of text plus a couple pieces of art for a mecha setting created to your specifications.

I will probably end up creating my own mecha space opera someday. Part of #RPGaDay2024.

An RPG you’d (I’d) like to see: A new space opera game with mecha. Much like the accessory question, it really boils down to writing it myself. I’m very picky about my space opera/science fantasy gaming. Star Wars and Robotech RPG are very tough shoes to fill. I’m still fairly annoyed and disgusted with Paizo, so not Starfinder. Traveller is old, scientific, non-mecha, and I don’t much care for…
