Pretty busy over the holidays, but here's a mech design I've done to prove out a project I've been meaning to do :)

um!!!! so I know it's not perfect cause I tried super hard to make the shapes accurate and stuff but my brain has a limit yk....I'm not that smart ahsvsjsjd 😭 and I also definitely made some mistakes, there's stuff I'll edit further down the line, etc etc....but after basically three days straight of working and reworking and more reworking....I've got something im like. really happy with tbh 🥹💕💗✨ im in love with this design lowkey like guys I wish tfp Metalhawk was real and looked like this 😭‼️✨ yes I know about his mention in the Aligned Cont. lore in know he exists but im sure you know what I mean when im saying what im saying

....I will mayhaps expand on this concept in the future....we shall see...anyways......enjoy :]

Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX - Alternate history OYW Mobile Suits

In the alternate history presented in Mobile Suit Gundam GquuuuuuX, the events leading up to September 18th, 0079 were largely identical to the history of the Universal Century as it is conventionally known.

Following the capture of the RX-78-2 Gundam and the Pegasus by Maj. Char Aznable, the course of Mobile Suit design doctrine on both sides of the war changed radically. The capture of the Gundam represented a massive transfer of technology and intelligence from the Federation to the Principality, enabling the development of much more advanced Mobile Suits than they ever could in the One Year War as it historically occurred.

After the capture of the RX-78-2 Gundam and the Pegasus, the Principality of Zeon both made extensive use of the captured units, as well as developing new machines and technologies based on them.

gMS-α "Red Gundam" - The refitted RX-78-2, customized for use by Char Aznable. While its loadout and equipment are largely the same as the "White Gundam", it features a few changes ans upgrades. The machine features six "bits", Psycommu-guided autonomous weapons systems. It was also equipped with the Gundam Hammer, a mobile suit-sized flail. The machine also made use of the Core Block System, and is equipped with the Alpha-type Psycommu system. The idea for this machine likely comes from the Gihren's Greed series of video games. By the time of U.C. 0085(GQx) the machine is in the possession of Shuji Ito, following its disappearance during the Zeknova at the second battle of Solomon.

gMS-01 Gelgoog - A mass-produced mobile suit extrapolated from the captured Gundam. It inherited its name from a cancelled Zeon development project which was radically restructured following the raid on Side 7. Far superior to the Federation's main mass-production unit, the Gelgoog was able to field two beam rifles at once. For melee combat, the Gelgoog was equipped with a beam saber. While its mainline Universal Century counterpart is a descendant of the Zaku, the GquuuuuuX version is the result of Zeon's reverse-engineering of the RX-78 Gundam. It much more closely resembles Federation mass-production mobile suits as a result, namely the RGM-79 GM.

RGM-79 Light-Type Guncannon - The mainstay mass-production unit of the Earth Federation in the late war. Chosen over its alternatives due to the loss of the RX-78 Gundam, the Light-Type Guncannon is a machine made primarily of compromises. With long range capabilities provided by its over-the-shoulder beam cannon, mid range combat ability from its beam rifle, and a melee weapon in the form of a beam saber, the Light-Type Guncannon was a jack of all trades, but a master of none. Federation ace pilot Sayla Mass was also known to make use of the G-Hammer as part of her loadout. The Light-Type Guncannon shares a model number with the RGM-79 GM of the mainline Universal Century. While it has no direct equivalent, it shows influence from the RX-77D Guncannon Mass Production Type, and the RGC-80 GM Cannon.

The above machines were designed by Ikuto Yamashita for the 2025 anime Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, and by Kunio Okawara for the 1979 anime Mobile Suit Gundam.

Meet TB and GB’s greatest invention yet! Their brand new mechs!

“These inventors have had enough, shunned off for so long just for being different, no one understood nor could comprehend their complexion, so for today’s challenge, survive. And face the true, scientific wrath of those two. …But don’t worry, those who survive will gain immunity.”

Tennis Ball (TB) is the “body,” while Golf Ball (GB) is the “head.” Similar to “Brains and Brawns,” in this case TB are the brawn’s, while GB are the brains. So whenever GB “perches” her mech onto TB’s, it makes them into the main mech itself! Like a full body, Which is combination of both of them! But GB mainly is found hovering around the skies for objects to strike!

TB’s mech is heavily armored and supported by many bullets, (or yoyleberries for censorship lol) perfect for front line attacks, basically like a tank! Although, his aim might not be the best. He’s a tad bit.. clumsy. Meanwhile GB’s mech is smaller, but is stubborn to hit her enemies dead on. She’s equipped with guided middles that lock onto targets, although, she tends to go overboard. On both of their mechs, they have radio antennae to communicate when they’re separated, besides, GB might see something that TB might not! Also, because they only have two legs, the left analog stick is used for movement, meanwhile the right is used for aim and firing weapons. Although the controls for GB are a bit different than TB’s.

I’m still choose between either if GB has robotic wings to fly, or uses fire/gas to fly, they are pretty familiar with chemicals so either could work lol Feel free to redesign if you’re better at drawing mechs/robots! But please credit me if you do so! ^_^
