Megalo Box has a special place in my heart, that is why I dig every now and then to find these sort of archive behind the final animation.

Storyboard is one of my favorite parts of production, so it fills my heart with joy to find powerful scenes from the anime during preproduction phase; like Chief's funeral. I love Ignacio, he's a real one.

Megalobox Nomad Thoughts

I'm god awful with titles but yeah finally finished Megalobox.

It was painful, heartbreaking and just an experience to watch. To see Joe, riddled with guilt and addiction and overcoming that with the help of someone else. Going back to his home, to face his family he left behind...genuinely seeking their forgiveness and rebuilding the gym. All the while juggling Mac's story and the exploitation he goes through because of a tech company, using his body to promote their products and his families struggles. To the final face off, where Joe and Mac, each have their last Megalobox match.

Mabuana never misses with his music and helps to make Nomad such an experience, and honestly his music is what made me watch the series. I cannot recommend it enough.
