RUMBLE ( Core ) Movie Studio Series *Bumblebee Concept Art*

Un altro RUMBLE di classe Core invade la linea Movie Studio Series, ma questa volta non è un Tartar a noi noto, dato che effettivamente NON compare in nessun film, dal vivo o animato che sia, ma, quasi a voler raschiare il fondo del baril… cioè, spremere quella gallina delle uova d'oro che erano le scene su Cybertron del film di Bumblebee, ecco quindi anche i personaggi creati solo a livello di concept design ma poi scartati / tralasciati da quella famosa introduzione allo spin-off dedicato a Maggiolino.

A scanso di cromatici equivoci, il Rumble di quest'ormai sorta di sotto universo dei Tf visti o comunque anche solo pensati per quei pochi ma fondamentali minuti al cinema, è colorato di blu come nei cartoni ( laddove in realtà nei giocattoli era rosso, come sappiamo ), un blu scuro principale con tocchi di azzurro sulle spalle del ROBOT, che citano quindi la colorazione del modellino del 1984 di Frenzy e non quella viola / lilla vista in tv, e grigio scuro su testa, gambe inferiori e … martelli?

Sì perchè un po' pigramente il nostro robottino ha al posto delle braccia gli iconici martelli pneumatici come si vedevano spuntare nei cartoni animati, invece che avere dei moduli aggiuntivi come l'omonimo SS 86, o comunque almeno accennare una sorta di minima trasformazione o perlomeno avere i pugni scolpiti all'interno! ^^'

Certo, capisco che sia un Core class, anzi, META' Core, praticamente, ma il punto è che è venduto come uno intero, quindi anche se giocoforza imitava l'omonimo SS, almeno uno non si sente in colpa a spendere il prezzo pieno per metà giocattolo!

Martelli pneumatici a parte che potevano passare magari come armi per il Soundwave Voyager, un po' come aveva almeno Ravage Core la punta del fucile in stile G1 per questo Memor, invece qui abbiamo due pistoline che in Rumble assumono solo la valenza di decorazione da sistemare dietro la schiena, ma unite diventa ALMENO una pistolina sempre per S.W.

Tornando al robottino, l'aspetto comunque non è male, con tocchi di giallo e rosso decorativi, la faccia con un'inedita mascherina sulla bocca e ben snodato nella media di un Core class, "braccia" permettendo.

La TRASFORMAZIONE non è male, nel suo … piccolo, con le braccia che si ripiegano all'indietro, le gambe che ruotano e si proiettano pure all'indietro per formare una sorta di parallelepipedo anonimo che potrebbe essere qualsiasi cosa, ma cui la funzione principale è quella di potersi inserire ovviamente nel petto di Soundwave, così come già visto con Ravage.

La cosa più interessante di questo "coso" è però quella di inglobare le due pistoline all'interno, così almeno questi accessorini piccini non vanno persi da un alt mode all'altro.

Poco altro da dire sulla modalità alternativa, quindi, ma resta un po' di amaro in bocca per la scarsa massa offerta da questo giocattolo, assai inferiore rispetto agli altri colleghi normali e pure degli altri "cassettebot" SS 86 o no, quando bastavano almeno un paio di accessori in più giusto per non sentirsi in colpa dopo l'acquisto, o comunque al limite da prendere quantomeno scontato.

Ah, vai a sapere se per caso faranno mai una versione rossa e chiamata Frenzy, poi, dato che questo nome nell'universo cinematografico dal vivo dei tf è già stato opzionato per il partner di Bariccade del primo film di Bay, ma ehi, mai dire mai! ^^
