"Somebody Help Me!"
Monday 27th April 2020
Good afternoon folks! I hope you're all doing well and have had a good week! Did you all tune in and see the EastEnders cast take part in The Big Night In? It was a brilliant sketch and it felt really nice to see the cast in their own homes. It felt like we're not going through this alone, everyone is in the same boat and everyone is going through the exact same thing right now. It's tough, but we will get through this! There can only be good times ahead, right?! Anyhow, I'm aware that this post is late, due to work I'll be posting the review about last night's episode right now and there will be a follow up post later tonight reviewing tonight's episode! I know we have a lot to get through, so I'll jump right into it!
So today was Sheree's birthday!! I know Sheree has been in the soap for some time now, what do you guys think of her character? I was sceptical of her when she first arrived but, over the past few months she has really blossomed into the Walford community. Denise didn't like her at first and believed she was having an affair, but in the end, Denise realised that Sheree was a lovely person and she gelled really well into the Trueman family. It's lovely to see the friendship that has slowly grown between to the women, and now that Isaac has arrived, there's another one to add to the family. So, Patrick bought his wife tickets to Trinidad, did anyone see what Isaac bought his Mum? I made out a photograph of Sheree, his Dad and Patrick? Am I right in thinking that Patrick could've been or had been a best friend of the other gentleman? The man who Isaac believes is his father? Sheree has longed for Isaac to get to know Patrick better since he arrived. It was nice to see them laugh and have a drink together, especially when Habiba claimed that they were both so a-like, I felt like saying "YES!" ... Could you guys see it? I certainly could! It was a close call though, when they were getting tipsy in Ian's restaurant and Patrick nearly let slip that he was his biological father. Isaac knew he was hiding something ... he's going to be looking for answers now, will he confront Sheree or Patrick and will he demand them to tell him what they know?!
Awww so Linda has now made the step of joining a proper AA meeting and as the brave woman that she is, she decided to go alone, without Mick or Denise taking her. She went on her own out of her own free will. It's a huge step she has decided to take and it's a brave one for her to be facing on her own. However, little did she know that the group she joined, just happened to be the one Phil goes to. It's been a long time since Phil has been on the booze, but as viewers will know, he has battled with alcohol a lot over the years. There have been a few times where he has fallen off the wagon and reached for the bottle. Linda looked completely shocked and incredibly awkward. I did feel for her, but in a way, the words Phil spoke to her were absolutely true! "It's not a social club! If you're not ready to speak in front of someone you already know, then maybe you're not ready for this!" ... Linda is going to have to get used to Phil being there, perhaps he could offer her some support in someway? They could support each other? Sharon has left for a while and Phil has been trying to come to terms with the fact that his son could potentially lose his hearing, and he's also still grieving for his, technically, other son. It was clear Linda felt awkward during Sheree's party, firstly due to not being invited, and then secondly being surrounded by all the alcohol, it was good she could confide in Denise about her nerves. I'm intrigued as to whether she'll carry on going to her meetings, maybe what Phil said to her will stick and she'll start to open up in front of people, including people she already knows! I hope there will be a scene where she is back at her meeting and Phil will be sat right opposite her, listening to her every word, and then they'll realise how much they need each other's support!
Can I just mention the friendship between Lola and Callum right now? They both have such a lovely friendship. Lola was there for Callum when he was coming out, and now Callum is being there for Lola while she's going through this ordeal with Peter. Callum finally passed his police assessment and Lola was there to congratulate him. However, Callum could tell that something was bothering her, after seeing Peter and Jay arrange to hang out, she was floored at the idea of them being together. She confided in Callum that she slept with Peter last month, after a brief split with Jay. She made it perfectly clear that Jay is the one she still wants to be with, but how is she going to be able to keep things quiet? There is always the risk of Jay finding out from Peter ... BUT Peter is now beginning to show signs of interest for Dotty, so maybe there may be no need for Lola to worry. But then again, this is EastEnders and secrets always come out in the end, right? I just hope if and when Jay finds out, they can work it out. Jay and Lola are a brilliant couple and have been a firm favourite for a very long time! It's as if they were meant to be together! Don't you agree?
Ooo while we're on the subject of Peter, did anyone else notice the speck of flirtation between him and Dotty? And how Bobby attempted to slide himself into the middle so he could invite Dotty round for tea! I'm really looking forward to their love-triangle story-line! I think it's going to be really interesting ... who is Dotty going to fall for, that is if she falls for either of them at all?! Bobby is clearly crushing on Dotty, and it seems only Peter and Ian are aware. What could this mean for Ian also? With Dotty being around, will he feel pressured into telling Sharon the truth about Dennis?
Oooooo have I made it clear how much I hate Suki? No? Then I'll tell you now! I hate Suki! I really don't like the woman! First making a dig at Chantelle for not taking work seriously and asking/making sure she had child-care sorted ... did you see how awkward Chantelle looked?! ... She then gave Jean a really smug grin! I'm glad Jean stood up to her, I hope Suki will get what's coming to her, eventually. I hope her boys will come to see what kind of woman she is! Even Jean was appalled by how Khareet could stand by his mum! I would be too ... who could stand by a woman who lied about having cancer? That's just the lowest of the low! Who else thinks that in time Suki will get her comeuppance?
Okay, it seems as if everyone is wondering where the heck Whitney has gone! We learnt that Whitney was supposed to be having a meeting with Gray and Laura. With Whitney not being seen by anyone, they assumed she was in bed asleep. That was until Jean found the letter, meant for Sonia, that Whitney binned, saying she was going run away, when actual fact Michaela has taken her hostage! We saw at the end there that Whitney is in some kind of apartment room, on her own. I feel so sorry for Whitney ... literally 3 people, all from the same family, have tortured her and made her life hell! How is she going to escape?! With Tiffany and Sonia being her close family, could they get Jack involved in help of the search for Whitney? What does it also mean for Gray? If Whitney doesn't turn up for their meeting on Friday, could it mean he could potentially lose his job too?! Also ... what is in it for Michaela? What is she trying to prove? I get she's out for justice for her husband and her son, but she needs to face facts! Whitney isn't going to say that the whole thing was a lie ... she will fight and she will prove that everything Tony and Leo did was true! The big question is ... with her family believing she's ran away, will they find her in time and will they come to realise that she's actually been taken hostage?! Will Whitney make it to her meeting and will she be able to prove her innocence?! It's a very gripping story-line and i'm really looking forward to seeing it unravel! What do you think is going to happen next for Whitney?!
Thank you for being patient with me, I'll be back again later on this evening reviewing tonight's episode! I have a feeling it's going to be a good one! Enjoy the rest of your day folks! xXx

"Bobby! Can You Hear Me?!"
Tuesday 28th April 2020
Evening everyone! As promised, here is my second post of the day! I hope you all enjoyed my earlier post reviewing last night's episode. To start off though I believe there have been some miner spoilers realised, which I have only been made aware of within the past few hours. I wouldn't necessarily call it spoiler, more speculation. It will appear that Chantelle and Kheerat start to form a strong bond and it's been mentioned that Kheerat could actually be the one that Chantelle opens up to about Gray's abuse.  I'm sure this is something that you're probably all aware of by now, as there as been slight flirtation between the characters, but to some, it may be news ... who knows? It is yet to be seen, but with all the directions the stories are leading to, I think it'll only be a matter of time before Chantelle says something!
Anyway shall we focus on tonight's episode, I felt it was another one full of drama! So many cliffhangers that we have to wait another week for until we see what happens, but it'll all be worth it i'm sure! Let's start off with what's happening with the Trueman family. So, after Isaac let off a bit of steam, he informed Denise about how both Patrick and Sheree have been acting suspiciously in recent weeks since his arrival, and most importantly how Patrick has dropped little hints here and there that he is actually his biological father. Of course, Denise has been completely unaware of the secret that both Sheree and Patrick have been hiding, you could see she was deeply shocked and surprised to figure out that Patrick was Isaac's father. After learning the truth and realising that Isaac has been lied to and not been told anything about his past, she came up with an idea. She called Patrick and told him to meet Sheree at the Vic, and Isaac went to the Salon where Sheree would think she'd be meeting Denise. It seems like the perfect way to finally get one of them to reveal the truth, if not both of them. Isaac can confront his Mum and get her to explain everything to him, even though i'm sure he'll be devastated that he's been lied to for so long. Plus Patrick has only known for a few months, and it's been clearly hard for him to keep to himself, he's been desperate to say something since he found out. I think this will be a huge weight of his shoulders, and hopefully, in time and if Isaac will want to, hopefully they can start to build a father-son relationship. Isaac is going to have a lot of questions for Sheree though before we get to that stage. Why did she lie to him for all those years? Why did she never tell Patrick? Why didn't she want Isaac to know? Whatever the answers may be, there is sure going to be a long road ahead for Isaac when he takes in this new information.
I don't know about you guys, but I really wanted to see the scene where Phil would sit Linda down and tell her exactly what life is like being an addict! I'm gutted I have to wait a whole week to see what Phil is going to tell her! So, after Linda came home from her meeting she told Mick and Shirley that Phil was there. I loved that little quote she made about it being Phil Collins! Haha! Anyway, neither Shirley or Mick were surprised, but Shirley, of course, stood up for Phil after Linda made a comment about him being there. She is right in the fact that Phil only knows too well what it's like and how hard it can be trying to remain sober and that Linda should listen to him! Eventually Phil actually went to in and put in a offer for the Vic and he's offering Mick the asking price, but he'll only give the asking price so Linda can swap her days at the AA meeting. Mick also informed Linda about Phil had said about her, that it would be for the best if she were to move out of the Vic as soon as possible! Linda, being the feisty woman that she is, went to have it out him, but I believe that she'll come to understand him a lot more after this conversation they're about to have. Phil revealed that he had been sober for almost 4 years, but still if it weren't for him going to those AA meetings, he would still be suffering with alcohol. I think Linda then realised that she's got a long long road ahead until things get easier for her, that is if they do get easier. She needs to realise that she is an addict and there are always going to be temptations in her path, but she needs to realise that she can get through this, it's just going to take time. What better person to tell her all the truths about being an addict than Phil?! He's been right in the gutter with not just alcohol, but with drugs also ... does anyone remember when he was a heroin addict? That was the most fantastic and so real performance that I've ever seen from an actor! I can't applaud Steve McFadden enough, he has and always will be my favourite EastEnders actor! I think the chat that Linda and Phil will have will really be an eye-opener for Linda. I'm really looking forward to seeing that scene unfold, roll on next Monday!
Uh-Oh ... so Chantelle and Kheerat have found themselves trapped after a power cut happened in the Panesar household! Unfortunately, this could mean severe consequences for Chantelle, as just as the power cut happened, she was on the phone to Gray telling her he needed her, as he's come to find out where Whitney is! I mean, he wasn't happy with the news that she had to go and work there in first place, is he going to be even more angry at her now? I mean, it wasn't her fault there was a power cutt, but I bet he will say if her mobile was switched on she wouldn't have been there when it happened! There were spoilers that both Chantelle and Kheerat were going to locked in a room together, does this mean that this could be the time they open up to one another? Will Kheerat tell her about how he feels about his Mum? Could he really be feeling disgusted with his Mum after finding out about her lies and is he just putting on a front? But also, could this be the time that Chantelle finally reveals to someone about how Gray abuses her! It's an interesting situation and again there are so many twists and turns that it can take. I really am gutted tonight's episode ended where it did, there's so much stuff i'm looking forward to finding out! I just hope Chantelle won't get the blame for the power cutt and Gray will understand.
Okay, so everyone now knows where Whitney is, and hopefully Gray and/or the police will be on their way to save her! I felt for Whitney tonight ... she's still being tormented and still having to relive those harrowing ordeals that Tony and Leo put her through. I really felt for her when she had to listen to Michaela talking about Tony and how she thought she was in love with him, and then coming to realise who Leo was, it felt horrible to watch I think. You could see Whitney just thinking things over and over in her head about everything she has been through. However, the big shock was that Michaela knew what Tony was like, she threw him out and that's why he went back to Bianca where he continued to abuse Whitney. All those years, Michaela knew what Tony was doing and she let it happen, even though she thought she was trying to protect Leo, she should've also tried to save/protect Whitney, and she never did. Is she feeling guilty that she never acted? Could this be why she's taken Whitney hostage? Does she want to tell her exactly what she went through? Or could it be a scheming way of getting Whitney to admit to murdering Leo?! It's an interesting cliff hanger ... lets just hope Whitney will be saved or be able to escape, and Michaela will get what's coming to her!
Oh Bobby! Poor Bobby! All he wants is to win the girl! That's all he wants! He's trying so hard to impress Dotty .. he dressed really nicely, he bought her a drink, complemented her and she still didn't get the hint! She seems to think that they're just friends ... it's a shame though, as just before it was revealed that Bobby had collapsed, Peter and Dotty shared a moment and were literally about to lean in for a kiss! Was it only me who noticed that?! I sure as hell felt like a kiss was going to happen! Poor Bobby actually resorted to taking drugs to (perhaps) impress a girl! He knew Dotty was selling something, even though she refused to give him some, I guess he just wanted to fit in and maybe not have her see him as "Just a kid!" ... What was it that Bobby took? I hope he'll be okay! How is Peter going to feel, knowing purely that his little brother has feelings for the girl he is flirting with! Even when Peter mentioned to Bobby about using his passport to enter the club and then commenting that he had used tons of his aftershave, I don't think he was acting as the caring older brother. I don't know what it was, but it felt as if he was skitting at him, maybe? Even telling Bobby to prove it to Dotty that he wasn't just a kid, an then later on, trying to lean in for a kiss with her! What is Peter's game?! I'm not sure I 100% trust Peter, I think he's changed. He used to be such a caring character, and now I'm not so sure ... Am I the only one thinking this? I could be completely wrong and I will take back everything I've said if I am, but ... surely, you wouldn't act on flirting with your brother's crush, would you?! I hope Dotty will come to realise that Bobby actually likes her, and maybe she'll give him a chance? It's uncertain what's going to happen with this story-line, I can see it, that both the Beale brothers will be fighting each other for Dotty's affection. What do you think is going to happen? Will Bobby be okay? Will Dotty give him a chance?
Unfortunately, we have a whole week to wait to see what happens. I've lost track on how many weeks it's been since the soap started airing only 2 episodes a week, I'm hoping there'll still be enough for us to see until things get back to some form of normality. I want to thank you all for reading my blog and being patient with me! I hope you're enjoying the soap just as much as I am! I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next and writing up about it! Enjoy the rest of your week folks as much as you can, keep safe and hopefully this will all be over soon! Feel free to message me and share your thoughts and opinions on anything I've posted. I'll always make time to respond! Thanks guys! xXx

"You Scream, It'll Be The Last Sound You Make!"
Tuesday 21st April 2020
Good afternoon everyone! How is everyone feeling? Again I just want to thank you all for being incredibly patient with me doing this blog, yesterday I reviewed Monday night's blog, today I'll be talking about last night's episode. I know it's now another whole week until we got more action from the Square, but all we can do is look forward to what story-lines lie ahead in store for us! I hope you're all keeping well and looking after yourselves.
Right, shall we jump straight into it?! Another episode full of drama, let's start with little Tommy and Kush. So we now have an idea what's troubling Tommy and why he may be struggling at school. Isaac seems to think the young boy may be Dyslexic. I did think he may have been being bullied, but Dyslexia is another reasonable explanation as to why the young lad isn't coping. It's also definitely another issue which hasn't been portrayed for quite a long time. The last Dyslexic story-line I remember was with Keith Miller? Does anyone else remember? It's also a brilliant issue to bring up, it makes a lot of sense also as to why Tommy didn't do his homework and has also been a bit slow in his classes. I'm glad Kush took it upon himself to tell Jean, it's a serious matter which would've been hard for him to keep the information to himself, I'm glad he told Jean and has informed her of what's happening. The only thing now is, how they handle it? Plus without Kat being there and not knowing what's happening with he son, could Kush feel under pressure to give her a call and ask her to come back to support her son? I'm looking forward to seeing more of this story-line play out, although, if Tommy finds out that Kush has confided in Jean, I hope Tommy wont see it as Kush breaking a promise and going behind his back? I hope he'll realise that he did it because he cares for him ... also while we're talking about the Slater family, can we talk about Jean's present from Daniel? For a moment, I'm sure you all had the same thought as I did ... Did Stuart really bring Daniel's corpse to Jean?! Haha! Bloody hell, I was thinking, "That's a bit dark isn't it?! Haha, I was relieved when they cleared that thought from everyone's mind, especially Jean's! But oh, that note that was in the box with the piano ... "Enough moping! Silence isn't golden! Be more Jean!"  ... I love how they're still keeping that phrase even after Daniel has passed away, I hope they'll keep it, every time Jean goes to do something completely different in her life she'll say "I'm being more Jean!" I just love it, I really do!
Who else is feeling really happy for Rainie and Stuart? I know I am! I loved the beginning of the episode when they were in bed together, I know it was a little dark but the little joke Rainie made did make me giggle. "I wonder if Pam will sell us the Parlour? Highways To Hell!" Sorry ... it just fitted her personality perfectly, dark but still a little humours ... possibly something you shouldn't find funny, but it was! I'm glad that Max decided to give Rainie the divorce she needed so she could marry Stuart, I mean, it took some words of wisdom from Whitney to help him change his mind, but he did, thankfully, and allowed the divorce. What Whitney said to him really struck home, as long as Abi has people caring for her and looking after her, it doesn't matter who they are, and Stuart made it clear to Max how much he cares for Rainie and little Abi, he's proven he can provide and support them both if/when they become a family. I hope there will be some good times ahead for Stuart and Rainie, I think they are two of the main people who deserve some happiness.
So, Keegan and Tiffany are now going to living with Jack ... why do I feel there's going to be a bit of tension between Jack and Keegan, with Tiffany once again being stuck in the middle to keep the peace. It's interesting how Denise has now become involved too, after hearing the events from Keegan, she's clearly believing Keegan's side of the story ... I don't know whether it comes to the colour of their skin again, as Denise can understand. But will this cause tension between Jack and Denise also? If Jack is trying to do his duty to his job by supporting his colleague, it's going to cause a rift between his job and the people close to him, could he be forced to either leave his job or potentially lose his family? It's going to be interesting to see which direction this story-line will take for all of those involved. I'm sure Keegan will have some closure knowing that Denise believes him, and of course Tiffany will be at his side. I'm looking forward to seeing what's going to happen with this one, what do you guys think is going to happen? Will Keegan be let off and found Not Guilty of all charges, or will Jack end up being stuck and forced to make a really tough decision?
Okay, so Sharon has now learned that Phil has put in an offer for the Vic! Although she doesn't quite seem over the moon, she's planning on going away for a while, it might be best for her to just give her a bit of time away from the Square. But when she comes back, how will she feel? Will she agree to moving to the Vic and possibly having a fresh start for her and Phil? Who knows? There has been a lot of speculation as to who the new owners of the Vic will be, I still believe it will be Sharon. Whether she'll change her mind about leaving and she'll agree to starting a fresh with Phil remains to be seen. But what do you think? Will she take Phil's offer or will she leave to clear her head?
Okay, wow! So let's now focus on Whitney and that ending!! Whitney was planning on running away, she'd written a handful of letters to people she cares about all ready for when she would disappear. Luckily, Max caught on to her plan, and tried to convince her to stay and be strong and face everything head on! I'm glad Max has been the voice of reason for Whitney, he knows exactly what she's going through and only he can probably be the one to convince her to fight for her life and fight for what is right! However, after speaking to Gray, Max realises that Whitney's change of a low sentence is minimal, he then decides that maybe the best thing for Whitney to do would to run, so he takes it upon himself to get her a bit of money so she can make a fresh start for herself. Whitney plans drinks at the Vic, potentially as a final goodbye before she does a disappearing act ... but it's only there the news is broken to hear that Michaela has been arrested for trolling her online and for her harassment, which is the news everyone has been waiting to hear. Everyone is in high spirits and telling Whitney how much they support her and how much they have her back, it's only then she realises that the people she loves are all there by her side supporting her through this tough time and everyone is fighting her corner. She decides to stay and face everything that's coming her way, whether it be positive or negative, she's going to fight! Later on, after the celebrations at the Vic she decides to bin her letters, as she leaves the house ... Michaela comes up behind her with a knife and threaten her! That was a bit dark I have to say ... was she even arrested? Was she out on bail?! You know what's going to happen now don't you ... Michaela is going to kidnap Whitney and Sonia is going to find those letters in the bin and everyone is going to assume that Whitney has pegged it! How is Whitney going to get free from Michaela?! Will anyone find out what's really happened to Whitney? Could Gray be forced to do some more digging and try and find he whereabouts of both Whitney and Michaela! There's definitely going to be some more drama coming up that's for sure!
I know we've got another whole week to go through before we find out what happens next, but hopefully you'll be able to find something to keep yourself focus on. Keep yourself safe during this crazy time, I know its hard as we're all missing loved ones! But do your best to stay at home and stay safe! Thank you for being incredibly patient with me again, it means a lot and i'm hoping you're enjoying my blog! I'll be back next week following next Monday's and Tuesday's episodes! Enjoy the rest of your week folks! xXx

"You Don't Know What That Means!"
Monday 4th May 2020
Good evening folks! Another week passed and we're back with another episode tonight! I hope you've all had a good week! I feel as though the past week has flown by, probably due to me being in work the past couple of days! Anyway I hope you're all keeping well and looking after yourselves! I've been looking forward to tonight's episode, so I'll jump straight into it!
Right, quite a bit to focus on,  I'll start with Bobby, as the last episode ended with him lying on the club floor. It was obvious he had taken something. Everyone seemed pretty concerned for him, although the young lad appeared to be okay, it would've been right to have taken him to hospital. However, it seems Bobby didn't want to, would it be because he'd knew it would get Dotty into trouble? He didn't let anyone know that it was Dotty that was selling the drugs, clearly as he has a huge crush on her. Dotty, as you could see, was clearly relieved and maybe thankful to Bobby for not dropping her in it? Could this mean that Dotty may have seen him in a new light? He took the drugs to maybe impress her and then took the blame himself for the drugs ... he protected her! I wonder what will happen if/when Peter finds out it was Dotty that was the one who was giving them out, surely then he'll flip at her that she could've caused Bobby some serious harm. I don't know about anyone else but I'm not liking this new Peter, I feel that something is going to happen or perhaps he's hiding something ... I feel like we're yet to see more of him ... more of why he's back and what happened between him and Lauren. I'm not even keen on the friendship that Peter and Jay are having, were they ever really close? Maybe they were and I don't remember. But I really thought Peter was going to come clean to Jay for a moment, and perhaps admit that he slept with Lola. He's right ... he's not a loyal person, as Jay complimented him as. I'm glad Lola walked in when she did. I do fear as what's going to happen once Jay does find out ... he and Lola make such a lovely couple, it'll be a shame if they were to split up (Again!)
Awww is anyone else feeling sorry for Isaac? He now finally knows that Patrick is his real Dad! It was clear it was a shock to him and he had to take a few moments for it to sink in, especially after Sheree tried to lie to him again. But, she realised she could no longer hide the truth from him. Basically, everything Isaac has ever known to be true, is a lie, of course he's going to find it hard to digest. It was interesting to see them sat together, side by side, and having Sheree talk about Patrick being summer holiday romance. Even though she said Raymond (I believe the name she used) treated Isaac as his own, even though he knew he wasn't his biological Father! It's a shame though, how Isaac spoke of Patrick, I hope he'll be able to maybe accept it and maybe try and get to know Patrick a bit better. Time will only tell now, seeing as Sheree and Patrick have left for a little holiday. Maybe Isaac can find this time to come to terms with the new information he's been given, he could even turn to Denise for a bit of advice? Or even just to talk? Who knows? I hope, in time, Isaac will come to know Patrick and will accept him in his life as his Father, we all Patrick is wanting and waiting for Isaac to come to him, when he's ready.
I don't know about you lot, but I really enjoyed the scenes between Linda and Phil tonight! Although, I did kinda panic when Linda found the bottle of alcohol in the cupboard. Each moment of that scene, pouring a drink, teasing Phil with it ... I was so hoping Phil would see into her manipulative ways, and he did! I was so happy when he poured it down the sink! Although I felt a part of him was tempted. I also thought Linda was going to have a drink of it also, just to egg him on! So glad Phil saw right through it. It's quite rare we see these two characters in a scene together, so I actually thought it was brilliant. That's the one thing that these two characters have in common now, they are both recovering alcoholics! Phil has made it clear that the temptation for alcohol is always there but he manages to battle it out! It's still a long road Linda has to take, but he's also let her know that he's not judging her, he's there to be sat beside her and support her like  everybody else in that group! He also admits the reason for wanting to buy the Vic is to help Sharon focus on something a make a life for herself after the devastation she has gone through recently, and Linda understood and agreed to let him buy the Vic, only under one condition, to be her sponsor! Does that mean to help her through talking whilst at the group? Or something else? I'm looking forward to seeing what that could mean. Still the big question is, will Sharon accept the pub?!
Another interesting scene tonight, where Chantelle and Kheerat opened up to each other. Kheerat about his past, having to grow up pretty quickly and act like the father-figure, as his Dad went sent to prison during his teenage years. He had to look after his young siblings and he has to look after his Mum, even though she acts as "The Boss!". I kinda guessed the power would be back on before Chantelle got to open up to Kheerat about Gray. I truly believe that Gray does love Chantelle, I believe that Gray does have anger issues and he takes his anger out on Chantelle, which of course is utterly and completely wrong! Gray needs help, but I don't think he sees it ... well, anymore! I truly thought Chantelle was going to tell Kheerat that Gray does hit her, but when the lights came on and kinda interrupted what she was going to say, you could see Kheerat knew there was something she was about to say! We know Gray was trying to get hold of Chantelle while he was on his way to finding Whitney, from the look of Chantelle's phone, he'd tried to call her 15 times! Is Gray going to be angry when he finds out what happened? Even though it couldn't be helped and it wasn't Chantelle's fault?! Will he attack her, yet again, for not answering her phone! I hope Gray will eventually seek help, but I also hope Chantelle will come clean and eventually tell someone, even if it is Kheerat, about the way Gray treats her.
So, we now know more about Michaela and her life with Tony, we know why she didn't try to stop him. She was trying to protect Leo. The amount of times she saw Tony looking at young school girls, and then eventually finding him with a 13 year old, it's awful to think that she couldn't find the strength to stand up to him or confront him. She knew he was a paedophile. Whitney was right though, if she had of confront him, then she wouldn't have suffered all these years and met such horrible, wrong men. First Tony, then Rob, then Leo! Does Michaela feel guilty that she never acted when she could've? She's got to live with the fact that Tony abused Whitney, and possibly other girls, and she could've stopped it, but didn't! She tried to protect her son, which eventually cost him his life! Again, another interesting part of tonight's episode, I feel. Whitney decided not to press charges against her, as quite clearly, she is still grieving for Leo. But is that going to be the last we see of Michaela? Does this mean Whitney's case is over? Or will she still have to go to trial? Oooooo did anyone see the look Whitney gave Gray ... I thought she was going to lean in and kiss him as she was thanking him, I could've sworn she was getting closer and closer to him! Is there going to be an affair on the cards? Gray admitted he was worried about her and he thought she was an amazing woman, is Whitney going to fall for him, while he's trying to save her from going to prison?! Only ... is Chantelle going to confess to her about Gray's beating before anything happens between them ... or, will it mean that Whitney might also see the dark side of Gray in the future? Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing how this one plays out!
Also, can I just mention ... did anyone else notice that Jean called Whitney by the wrong name?! She called her "Stacey!" Sure, Jean is missing Stacey and she's said it's something Stacey has done in the past, but ... what does this mean? Is Jean not taking her meds again? Or is it something else? Maybe I'm flying off the edge her but it seemed like big alarm bells were going off when she said that ... even Whitney and Kush looked a little confused! Is Jean okay? Is Jean's health going to be something else for Kush to deal with, as well as little Tommy?! Oh my lord ... I could go on, the suspicion is endless, but we'll have to wait and see!
Looking forward to what's going to unfold in tomorrow's episode! Thank you guys for reading and I'll be back tomorrow, following up tomorrow's episode! Enjoy the rest of your evening! Goodnight everyone! xXx
