I’m here to give you some praise on TAP!!! This will (hopefully) be spoiler free but I feel like I can’t fully make that promise so if anyone out there who hasn’t read it yet sees this who hasn’t read it yet, you might just want to skip this just to be safe.

First of all, I loved being back in this world with these characters, I keep telling people it felt like coming back home in a way.

This book was SO funny I laughed out loud several times and that was one of my favorite parts about the book. Of course I loved hearing from the love of my life Parisa again (also can we talk about the audiobook narrator for her??? The casting is perfect like she sounds exactly how I imagined and even gets like the mannerisms I imagine Parisa having it’s just the best). Speaking of Parisa though, can I just say how fascinating I still find Dalton and mind!Dalton. To me Dalton is actually the most intriguing and interesting character every time we go inside his mind and see mind!Dalton I get so invested. There’s just so many layers to his character and I just want to don’t them all out. I also just live for the dynamic Parisa and mind!Dalton have-it’s just so sexy.

I just also loved learning more about the other characters too! I can’t say you made me LOVE Callum or anything- if you remember from my previous asks and praise he has always been my least favorite and he terrifies me (which is still true) -but I can definitely appreciate his character more after this one which I was not expecting but was a nice surprise! Also okay it might just be me but I loved learning more about Atlas/Ezra. I actually kept texting my friend that I crackshipped them so hard hahah like I wasn’t expecting anything out of it but that betrayal trope and the chemistry hit hahah and I could see them being together back in the day. Idk I just vibed with it. ALSO DUH LIBBY’S CORRUPTION! One of my favorite parts. I definitely can’t wait to see how it also plays out in book 3 (okay spoiler but my nicolibby heart screamed when she said “time to torch this outcome and let the fucker burn”, tbh I think Nico will be very proud of her but that’s to be determined).

THE LAST PARTS PLUS ELILIF AND THE PRINCE LEFT ME SO MANY QUESTIONS LIKE SO MANY 🤯🤯🤯

Okay then ships which I know you probably hate people commenting on at this point but I just need to include it, however I’m lleaving it at the end here so you can skip it if you wish. I loved all the nicolibby crumbs like seeing them missing their other half and how especially Nico couldn’t survive without her and how not only did Nico want nothing else but to find a way to get her back in this book Libby also knew it would be Nico searching for her and ugh I just love them so so so much. Also S/O to Reina for being a secret nicolibby shipper too because she gave us yet another banger quote about them <3 will always be thankful to my girl Reina. Anytime I found a little crumb of theirs I would send it to my friend (who got an ARC) and just scream about it to her-it made reading it so fun. They mean the world to me and I can’t wait to see even more of them in TAC and my heart and soul prays it’s them in the end. But also Novacaine!!! My other loves. Seeing them both lowkey distraught and vengeful towards the other was AMAZING and so angsty. Like I said I love a good betrayal trope and they have an AMAZING one. There’s a page specifically (328) where my Novacaine heart was literally screaming. They just have such a fascinating dynamic and I’m obsessed. Like they might be toxic af but they are SO FUN and why need healthy in fiction anyway???

Anyway just wanted to say I had fun and can’t wait for Jan 2024 (or you know can wait because I’m terrified but you know same thing).

One of these days I’ll actually be able to write a short message (I hope). But I recently finished “The Lovers Grim” so I’ll be hitting up your inbox with more praise soon. Currently doing my AWYITE reread with it’s release and crying! Also currently reading Clara and the Devil and loving it! I can’t believe I only have one more book of yours left to read this year. So bittersweet but I already know I’ll be rereading a bunch of them all the time. ❤️❤️❤️

two things I’m not sure people always grasp about this series are that 1) it’s not taking itself as seriously as some people think it is (I compare it to reality tv for a reason, and I genuinely hope people have the same kind of fun with it that I have with pulpy, addictive media) and 2) there’s technically no such thing as crackshipping, because every relationship that occurs on the page is meaningful and the subject of intense complexity by its mentally ill creator (<3). I have thought a disturbing amount about what exists between every single character on the page, and I do think a wide variety of love stories are being told at the same time. atlas and ezra are a genuinely complicated pairing—it’s the relationship that set this entire plot in motion. this book IS the relationships. all of which is to say: get funky my friend it’s all there for you to play with, as a treat

I love your random questions!! 

Having a best friend means that no matter how much time or distance passes between you, things always pick up right where they left off. Ezra would fit that description.  Listen, you’ve had a shitty week? A shitty month? Year, whatever?.. you suddenly feel the inexplainable need for a change of scenery? Maybe, one day, you decide you've had enough and you don’t like where you are in life anymore? 

Ezra understands. He understands the idea of dropping everything in a heartbeat. Staying in one place too long never did anyone any good. No one ever has good stories to tell by playing it safe. He understands that you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. He understands because he’s done it.

As usual, your overthinking quickly gets in the way and you start to second guess your decision, 

'You think this is a bad idea, Ez?'

'Without a doubt, my cherry blossom.'  

'Then why are you smiling?'

'Because dubious ideas are my favourite kind.' 

Maybe the two of you wander without a specific destination in mind, or maybe you immediately start fresh in a new place, but either way, Ezra would be the one I'd choose. He’d give me the chaotic spontaneity I crave while also being the calming familiar that only best friends could share. He’d spend afternoons reading to me while I drive, keeping score of every old-timey diner we’d stopped at along the way and argue over which one had the best milkshakes. He’d know all the best dive bars and motels to stop for the night because what’s better than sitting elbow to elbow on the floor of a cheap motel room drunk at one in the morning guilty of nothing but living life.

Ok, the romance question was tougher than I thought it would be? I'm so tempted to choose Marcus or Frankie?? Because I love them a completely normal amount. 🥴 Not that I cannot see myself with the others, but let's face it, my personality consists of coffee and procrastination and as much as I'd like to believe it, that would likely never work with Oberyn, Max, whiskey, Javi or Din. 

I’m someone who doesn’t need to talk unless I have something to say. I’m fine with comfortable silence so, I’d vibe with Din and/or Frankie on that principle alone. And to be fair, both of them appear annoyed and 100% done with your shit, on the surface (and rightfully so) but in reality, both of them FEEL SO MUCH, which again, CAN RELATE. So, knowing they’re *soft* underneath all that restrained shyness - soft only for me?  existing inside this intimate space where speaking is not always necessary. Yeah. I vibe with that.  

Hahahah,, that reply kinda got away on me without really giving you a proper answer but, I'll l admit I am not a good judge of romance in the traditional sense, the things I might find sweet and romantic might not mean the same for anyone else. PLL 7x18

ok so this episode gives us a quickie marriage, a guilty Aria and a whole lot of frisky business. sweet 

so they episode starts off with Emily and Ali being all domestic, they decide they wanna get frisky but are interrupted by the game literally on their bed. the police conveniently turn up at the same time and start to take all of their shit in for evidence, but when they got into their bedroom the game is gone (not surprisingly) 

Aria begins to shred the Ezra report after news of the police coming to her door. Spencer wants to rip a new whole into Furey but is interrupted by Tanner who is all “yeah i’m running the show now bitch”

Aria gets her phone taken off of her but AD is all “nah bitch i got you covered” and gives her a phone hidden in the air duct. sweet. Aria is all “I've done all this shit for you and haven't got anything in return” but then AD allows for a quick meet up. 

Mona is still being a creepy fucker with all her gadgets. i still have hope tho, that she isn’t evil. 

Spencer gives the girls trendy ass flip phones so that they can all stay in touch. the girls find out that #emsion is a thing and they are all “yeah, sweet” 

AD literally hands the girls and ultimatum on a silver platter and is all “yeah someone has to give themselves in or your all going to jail lmao, oh yeah and i’m also timing you, smd” 

Mona pops up and is all “lmao Aria is in the AD team” ans the girls are like “surely not tho” and Mona is all “nah its true aye” 

Tanner is all “gather round boys and girls, i’m about to arrest these little fuckers” 

Spencer meets up with the survivor version of Toby, they have a quick bonding sesh and she gets some nerve wracking details about the case from Toby, lmao hide bitch. 

Aria is waiting for AD in her black hoodie outfit. she gets a cute text from her AD lover boy complimenting her outfit and then boom! the girls pop up and are all “wtf is this Aria? how could you?” and Aria is all “AD was gonna throw Ezra in jail, stfu!” Spencer is all “my fam is literally falling apart because of you!” (honey take a look at your fam, was it really arias fault? i mean, really?) The girls are super pissed and Spencer has literally had it. shes all “find your own way to the police station bitch!” 

Tanner is all “i literally have so much evidence against you lmao, i’m gonna get you all” and Spencer is all “yeah but can we fucking leave?” and then all the girls leave before Aria can get a word in. hahah, you’ve been outed girl. 

Aria is all “fuck you AD now my friends hate me” she goes to throw the phone out the window and AD is all “nah Aria just wait for tomorrow aye” 

Hannah complains about the investigation and Emily is all “Hannah, keep up, we legit killed a guy, dumb ass” and then all the girls take their turn on blaming it on themselves, Spencer still wont forgive Aria but Emily is all “lets be real, AD would have made anyone of us turn on each other, it just happened to be Aria” 

Spencer tries to forgiver Aria by bonding over a nostalgic pic, but before she can even get the words out Tanner busts in and is all “Aria you sneaky bitch, your off the hook” AD gave Aria an alibi and Spencer is pissed. 

Ezra is all “WTF is going on?” he then reveals that he already knew about the file cause he found it when she was sleeping. Aria is all “dont hate me! i was really angry” and Ezra is all “yeah you should have been, i was creepy as fuck” and then Aria is all “yeah but I've done fucked up shit as well sooo” then shes all “before i tell you what I've done, i’m gonna fuck you because you might run for the hills aye” 

Caleb and Hannah have a quick marriage ceremony at the court so that they dont have to testify against each other during the trial. wow how romantic. i expected more form Hannah tbh, smh 

Emily and Ali talk about dreams before getting frisky in the middle of the woods at the kissing rock. yeah ok

Spencer rocks up at Toby’s for one last bone, shes all “yo remember that kiss, yeah it was a good kiss, lets fuck” and Toby is all “yeah no worries, its not like i just grew this beard to mourn my dead wife or anything”

the timer ends on AD’s gamer phone and in response Spencer decides to smash the fuck out of it. Hannah points out the obvious by stating “why the fuck did we not think of that earlier?” yeah, seriously tho. 

Aria’s guilt is really getting to her and shes all “i’m gonna turn myself in AD fuck you” and then AD is all “nah bitch your to late, you already won lmao” and then for the grand finale; Arias phone goes up in flames. fantastic. 

Ezra and Caleb work together to find the controller of the game and make their way to Mona’s apartment. nah i still have faith. i’m never gonna give up. i believe in you Mona.

Aria makes her way to Spencer’s to try and earn her forgiveness but is interrupted by a thud from her boot, after a quick inspection she finds Rollins decomposing body in the trunk of her car lmao. have fun with that Aria. 

i kinda dont want Mona to be AD, but then i also kinda do because that would be juicy. honestly i’m just hoping to get extremely offended by the AD reveal, if its some distant relative that we’ve never seen before i’m out.

as a general rule i’ll go with yes? writing with other people definitely pushes me to want to be better and write better to be worthy. i think it’s definitely pushed my creativity bc i swear i am the least creative person in the entire world and that’s ... really hard for the life of a writer lmao. but tumblr rp definitely inspires me to be a better..content writer. when it comes to grammar.....that has significantly decreased but that might also just be my laziness hahah 

☄ Has roleplay positively affected your life in some ways?

short answer: absolutely. despite how horrible this website can be at times, tumblr rp has positively impacted me because i’m surrounded by like-minded people bound together by their love of wrting, and i think that’s beautiful. i’ll always be grateful for tumblr bc it’s giving me some of my closest friends from all over the country or world, and there aren’t many people who can casually in conversation say something like “my best friend lives in vegas” or “my friend from new Zealand” and you find a way to make it work even with time zone differences and yeah.

technically already answered but let me rant about my boy bellamy blake now and my girl jessica davis because both are hated and i love them both with all my heart.

anyway bellamy blake deserves the world and really just needs a long ass nap. his entire life from the moment o was born has been dedicated to her ( thanks mom ! ) and he’s taken that role so seriously even when it’s wrong, even when it’s weird. and pretty much every action he does is a direct result of his love for her?? but also he has this fierce loyalty streak and is completely enamored with his people. and that’s really why he means so much to me. bellamy has such a good heart and he loves so fiercely and when it comes down to it: bell is loyal to people not causes. also he’s one of the best shots like..ever?? and that alone is just really impressive like your fave could never. anyway, bellamy blake is really important to me. 

jessica is also really important to me because she’s so imperfect. and it’s almost inspiring because it’s so easy to hate her for these flaws. but she’s such a product of her society and she’s truly embraced this idea that she needs to fit in, which is funny because when we met her, she didn’t want that. she didn’t want attachments or to be popular because she was so used to her dad getting stationed elsewhere and her having to leave an say goodbye to whatever friends she made, and it was hard. and like, i’ve been completely stationary my entire life and can’t even begin to imagine what that is like nor would i try because until college, my biggest move was from one town to the next, a whole whopping 7 minutes. anyway, as i was saying, it’s really easy to jump to conclusions and hate jessica because she’s rash and strong and believes that she’s only as good as what people see her for ( she’s only worth something if she’s popular and liked, she only matters if guys want to have sex with her, it matters that people find her pretty, etc ) and when things start going downhill and she doesn’t know whether to trust her false memories and a girl who used to be her best friend or her boyfriend and what was easier to believe, she was allowed to be angry. she was allowed to be resentful, but more than that, she was allowed to pretty much pull a gun on her abuser and she’s allowed to be angry and resentful and tell justin that she never wants to see him again AND BASICALLY SHE’S ALLOWED TO BE HUMAN AND HAVE FEELINGS AND BE ANGRY AND LOSE IT AND TAKE A DOWNWARD SPIRAL AND SHE’S ALLOWED TO TELL HER EX WHO LIED TO HER FOR MONTHS AND CHOSE HER ABUSER OVER HER OFF. SHE’S JUST ALLOWED TO BE REAL AND STRUGGLE AND PEOPLE BLAME HER FOR HER ACTIONS AND HER RIGHT TO BE ANGRY BUT GOD IT’S SUCH A BLESSING TO SEE AND IT’S SO IMPORTANT FOR ME TO SEE THIS REP? pretty much every ship i write is only possible in rp lmao. the big ones that come to mind are deff like...everything I write with @loveisaviolence love u boo bc like where else am i gonna get bellamy blake and tasha ozera or bellamy blake and rose hathaway? not to mention christian and lissa actually acknowledging that lissa has to kill tasha lmao. not to mention anything with ocs like yours or @coldgirled and i love it?? writing only possible in rp stuff bc it’s one of the best things about this. being turned on to characters you don’t know and creating relationships, not necessarily romantic, with them.

i mean everyone’s general salt toward the pll finale was nice lmao. my fave thing about my pll dash for sure is the fact that everyone would die for spencer hastings and like, i relate. also the anti-ezra dash i have is also pretty amazing because I RELATE. so yeah basically bless you for that <3 deff my favorite thing.
