In Rigveda, they're both Devas connected to the Sun but Ancient Brahmana texts also associate them with the two lunar phases.

here i've depicted them as the sun and the moon respectively, and i like to think they meet by the water every night, right when the sun goes down and the moon comes up [yes i know the science doesn't check out just let me have this].

"What did you do now?" Jesper opened the door all the way in response. Kaz peered through the doorway, not sure what he was getting himself into. He certainly wasn’t expecting to see the four remaining crows sitting on the floor, surrounded by far too many puppies.
