this is more a tiktok hot take rather than a tumblr hot take but i don’t think selfcest is as bad as people make it out to be. i was talking to a friend once and they were talking about cookie run or something and they mentioned how people in the fandom ship a character with a different version of themselves and they were talking about how gross it is and i was like oh well i don’t really think it’s that bad, it’s not darkship territory or anything (because people tend to think of it as such when it is NOT) and they were like ok it’s still gross :/ and i said well imagine shipping 2 miku’s together as an attempt to try and get them to see another perspective and they immediately went “ew” wdym you don’t fw mikucest..🥀
