Roxanne had been spending more time at rehearsals than she needed to be. She liked to watch her other castmates doing their scenes and was in awe at how much talent was on this stage. Her parents were happy that she was getting out the house so they didn't mind that she wasn't around to help with the farm.

Roxanne was watching a scene with Mim as Rizzo and she couldn't take her eyes away. She was such a good Rizzo and she didn't think anyone else could compare. She hadn't really spoken to Mim since bumping into her that day and still felt awkward about that.

She went to grab her bottle of water from her bag and on her way back, she ended up bumping into Mim who must have been finished with her rehearsal. "Oh, sorry Mim." She looked anywhere but Mim, "Are you alright?"

Kim was trying to forget what had happened between her and curiouslittlecat. She knew she'd said some things she shouldn't have, but there was nothing she could do about it. She had no idea who curiouslittlecat was, and she was likely to never find out.

This is why Kim decided to concentrate on something she could control: getting her daily fix at Hatter's and making a dent in the mountain of essays she had to complete.

Kim had hoped to get her favourite table by the window, but when she arrived at Hatter's, the place was busier than she'd ever seen it. The most logical next step would be to get a coffee to go and return to her room. That was her plan until she noticed an empty seat across from Mim.

She and Mim hadn't talked much since Barn Con, but this might be a good opportunity to catch up. She ordered her coffee and collected it when it was done before heading over to where Mim was sitting. "Hey Mim." She said with a smile before asking, "Is this seat taken?"

"Definitely not a habit I want," she said before realising what that sounded like. "Not that I wouldn't want to to bump into you. Just the bumping into people in general," she rambled on. Oh My God! Could she get any embarrassing.

Roxanne could feel her cheeks warming up from embarrassment, oh, she hated feeling this way. Especially in front of Mim. Someone who knew her well enough. It would have been easier if it was a stranger like if the understudy for Rizzo had gotten the role instead of Mim. Was her name Kim? It was ring a bell.

But then she wasn't trying to say that Mim shouldn't have gotten the role, it just would have been easier for her to be around someone she didn't know.

"You were brilliant in that scene. It looks like you'll be ready for opening night," Roxanne commented.

"I guess that's where we differ. I try so hard not to react to every situation I'm in because it doesn't help."

It was taking everything in Kim's body not to react to that comment because Mim didn't know anything about her life. It was vice versa for her, but she tried not to make opinions about someone else's life when they knew nothing of it.

"Well, I'd disagree because you don't really know what you're talking about. I was fifteen when I started helping people, and the crime fighting happened by accident, and then it stuck. I could have stopped, but I'm not wired that way, so I kept helping people, even if that was stopping an evil scientist from trying to take over the world."

Kim took a deep breath. She hadn't meant to say all that, but she didn't want to take it back either. Plus, she had more to say, and she wasn’t sure that Mim would like her very much after, oh well.

"I just think unless you've experienced what I have, then maybe you shouldn't talk about it like you know or understand. I wouldn't even dream of speaking for the fairies because I'm not a fairy. I'm a gifted Magick who is still figuring out that, but I'm also a human being who still makes mistakes. I didn't ask for these gifts I have but I've learned to live with them and whatever way I do that is my business. The funny thing is that I actually thought we'd get on as friends, but clearly not."
