Humble is over 8 feet tall (about 8'4 - tall even for a Roegadyn) and Mimble is 2 feet and 10 inches tall (2'10 - small even for a Lalafell).

There's quite a range of height between Mimble and Humble. Silvaineaux is definitely more on Humble's end of the scale at 7 feet and 3 inches, tall even for an elezen. Thank you for the ask! This was fun.

Does your OC have a large collection of shoes and footwear? Or do they have just one pair of servicable boots? Do they have different footwear for different occasions? Do they have a favourite pair?

What is something that your OCs partner, lover or friends are scheming to get them to wear one day? What is their motivation? Are they likely to succeed?

Johnny does own a lot of footwear, as he owns a lot of clothes in general! It can be separated into two very distinct categories: work boots, of which he always owns two pair at any given time and replaces them only as they wear out, and then the large array of various dress shoes for the outfits Tataru makes. He grew up in a mining town, and so was taught from a young age that good boots were critically important. Were he not married to the head seamstress of Tataru Taru's boutique, the work boots would likely be his only articles of footwear.

Speaking of that head seamstress, she is constantly thinking up new outfits to dress up her husband with! She's able to get him to wear pretty much anything under the guise of experimentation for the boutique, but there definitely are some styles that require scheming on her part if she wants him to wear them out of the house. Johnny usually prefers durable travel clothes that are easy to move around in, so it usually requires a specific occasion if Tataru wants to get him into formal attire. Planning those occasions is never too much trouble though, which is good since she's of the opinion that he cleans up pretty well :)

Does your OC's body language sometimes give away what they might prefer to conceal? Or are they practiced at ensuring that their physical presentation matches their stated positions?

Does it "sometimes" give it away? No, it pretty much always does.

Ehryu is very expressive with her body language, and even when she tries to hide it, at the very least her tail will give her feelings away. she doesn't even always realize it's happening.

FFXIV Ask thing 14!

This is so hard!! You don't understand!! Alliance Raids are my favourite thing!! And I love most of the Normal Raids too!!

Ok, so, I'll go for sets, rather than single duties because I'll never be able to choose that way.

Normal Raids, my faves are probably the Eden and Pandæmonium sets.

Alliance Raids? Here we go! My favourite alliance always ends-up being whatever the latest set is. XD No really, I've been hooked on them ever since the Crystal Tower raids first came along. I miss them. And it makes me so sad that a lot of players have never been able to experience them as they were before we just steam-rolled over everything.

If you ship your OC with a particular canon character, then what was it about that character that drew you to them? Is it that you have a certain "type" when it comes to shipping? Or did you surprise yourself with who you felt drawn towards? If your OC is in a relationship with another OC then did you change any aspects of either of their backstories or personalities to make this work?

For Miyuki/Gojo: I am a messy bitch, and I love symbolism and seeing people grow. So I thought: why not give the guy who was raised to be a weapon and had Issues with being Normal a girlfriend who has PTSD and attitude problems? Also I just felt the more I wrote Miyuki, the better a fit she was for Gojo.

For Brialeth/Karlach: the main reason I wanted to play BG3 in the first place was Mama K. I decided she needed someone quieter and more patient to complement her fiery personality. And it works!

Generally, I try to go with "vibes" and see how the ship will contribute to my character's development.

Do you have a sense of how your OCs relationship will evolve in the future? Or is it quite a fixed in terms of dynamics and story?

I'll talk about a character I have only more recently decided to develop further. Shunbai!

He is polyam and pan and crushes very easily. Too easily, to be honest. But also has a difficult time distinguishing between a physical crush or a romantic interest. So he often tries to take a step back when he realizes he's feeling something, just so he can understand what exactly he's feeling.

Right now, he is testing the waters with two others, one being Bites from @soulshards and the other being Enkh from @midnightmagicks. But with how unsure of himself romantically, I really have no idea what the future holds for him! It's kind of nice to have a character like this because it makes exploring relationship dynamics interesting and challenging as it's not something I've done before!

What do they commonly misinterpret because of their own upbringing / environment / biases? How do they respond when realizing the misunderstanding?

\When Phoebe was first forced to leave her village, the outside world was so foreign to her. She was raised in a setting where everyone living in and around the village depended on one another to live. Every person had a role to fulfill, and while some (including Phoebe herself) did not enjoy this, it was necessary to thrive.

Outside of the forest, people avoided one another. They were independent units that were more often suspicious of the people around them. She was often met with cold glares or people shaking off her pleas for help. Her naivety left her puzzled, why would no one help her?

Once she had integrated herself into her assassin's league, she quickly learned why suspicion and mistrust were the status quo of the everyday Rabanastre citizen. Over time she became bitter and jaded, placing little to no trust in anyone. Betrayal was too big of a risk, and anyone could be waiting to deceive her to get something they wanted.

🌶️ - A bottle shaped like a pepper, which contains gourmet hot sauce. The sauce almost appears to be changing hue as you look at in the light.

Zel wasn't sure she had ever seen hot sauce of that shade before, but something in her knew it was going to be insane. As she was not acquainted with the sender personally, she needed to do a quick, cautionary purification. Always better safe than sorry.

She scouted around for a savory snack that would pair well. First, however, she needed to know what kind of flavor profile she would be working with. She uncapped the bottle and took a sniff, regretting it a few seconds later when her nose was overwhelmed by far too many scents to truly determine what was in it.

But of course, this just made her even more eager to try it. Could this be even spicier than Zero's Custom Made Voidsent Vindaloo? A small morsel of dried meat appeared from seemingly nowhere, once hiding in one of Zel's many secret snack pockets. She dripped a few drops on her piece of jerky, admiring how sparkly it was in the light, dark purple with a shimmery, reddish sheen drizzled onto the most standard and boring piece of dried chicken possible.

Flavor danced on her tongue and she found herself confused, but mostly underwhelmed by the low level of heat in the sauce. That's not to say it was bad, not by a long shot! It was actually a very nice herby concoction that she knew she would be able to use in the future. She smiled as she capped the bottle and put it away, already drafting in her head a nice thank you note for the sender.

Does your OC believe they can assess someone's character upon first meeting them? Or are they inclined to give everyone the benefit of the doubt until they get to know them better? Or even to assume the absolute worst of people until it is conclusively proved that they are not an enemy?

Ehryu is a good judge of character and she knows it. It's definitely something she's honed over the course of the MSQ, going from having a vague inkling of bad vibes that she ignored with Ilberd, to being confident straight off the bat that Asahi couldn't be trusted, to quickly clocking Hermes' mental/emotional state pretty darn accurately.

She does reluctantly try to give people the benefit of the doubt even if she initially mistrusts them. Conversely, when she has a good gut feeling about someone, she doesn't really stop to consider that it might be wrong lol.
