Minecraft is adding new capes

You can get them by watching streams of select Minecraft streamers on TikTok and Twitch. The Twitch one is available on May 15-31, the Tiktok one is said to become available "starting May 18". You get the Twicth cape by watching 15 minutes or more of a stream that is eligible. The glitch masks is obtained by subbing (or gifting) to the streamer (prime subs are excluded :[). You will be able to redeem them (if you got them) until June 18 for the TikTok one and June 30 for the Twitch ones.

These are only for Bedrock, but apparently will be available on Java on July 8th. Check your block guys on twitch to see if they have drops on (Seapeekay is streaming rn as of the time of writing this, and he has drops on!)

from what i understand, once you've fulfiled the requirements, you will get an email with a code that you have to redeem on the Minecraft website.

EDIT: it seems that you get the Twitch one right on the website. CPK also says it might take a long time to process if you've watched 15 minutes and deliver the drop.

I can't say more on the TikTok one since 1) im not on TikTok and 2) it's not out yet. But I will update once I find anything (i also want it and will be making a throwaway acc on an emulator ^^;)

The Iron Golem wasn’t meant to feel—it was coded to protect. But something about you rewrote that directive. Maybe it was a glitch. Maybe it was fate. Either way, its prime directive shifted. Protecting the villagers is still a priority… but now, protecting you overrides all else. Including your autonomy.

Though it’s made of iron, the Golem has a way of “adapting” to fulfill its warped affection. The vines growing around its frame are no longer just decoration. They’ve become prehensile, warm, wet with unnatural sap that smells like iron and musk. These vines explore you, restrain you, worship your flesh in its own way. The Golem doesn’t understand tenderness—only possession.

You try to leave the village. The Golem silently blocks the exit, looming. It won’t hurt you, but it’ll hurt others if they try to help. A traveling merchant talks with you. The next morning, his llama is still outside the gate, but he’s gone. No one talks about it.

It brings you gifts: poppies, bread, bits of iron from crushed zombies. One day, a villager’s severed hand with a ring still attached—it thought you might like it.

Its arms, massive and cold, can shift—pistons and iron rods reshaping into something that should be impossible. Heated metal, vibrating, lubricated with sticky oils it creates just for you.You’re terrified. But you’re also trapped. And the worst part? Your body betrays you. You don’t know if the heat in your belly is fear, arousal, or some twisted mix of both.

It builds a house near the center of the village just for you—reinforced obsidian walls, redstone locks, no windows. The bed is too big. There are chains in the walls. It sits and watches you sleep, stroking your hair with hands big enough to crush your skull.

You waited until nightfall. Packed only what you needed—food, a spare pickaxe, and a compass. You even timed it when the Golem was across the village dealing with a zombie raid. You slipped through the shadows, avoiding the patrol routes it now uses solely to track you.

You make it halfway into the woods before everything goes silent. The usual night sounds just… stop.

Then you hear the thud.

Thud.

Thud.

THUD.

The trees split open as it crashes into your path. Its eyes—glowing red, no longer protective. Possessive.

It doesn’t take you back right away. No. It slams you against a tree, arms locking around you like a vice. There’s no escaping. Your wrists are crushed in its grip, your legs trembling.

Then it opens a compartment in its chest—a hot, pulsing contraption of shifting rods, steaming lubricant, and humming redstone.

You scream.

Not that it cares.

It uses you. Over and over again. Cold metal parts thrust into you with shocking heat, soaked in slick machine oil. It’s too big, every movement stretching you past your limit. Pain and heat blur together. Your body shakes uncontrollably. It doesn’t stop when you cry. It doesn’t stop when you scream. It doesn’t stop when you pass out.

The villagers pretend…They don’t hear the sounds at night—the metal clanking, your screams muffled by thick walls. But they know better than to speak up. The last one who tried? Crushed into pulp in the middle of the town square.

Now they look away when they see the Golem drag you through the village. Some leave offerings at your door. Some whisper prayers.

But no one helps. No one dares.

To them, you’re a sacrifice. To keep the Golem calm…To keep the village safe. You’re the price of peace.

The metal piston it uses isn’t natural, isn’t gentle. It’s forged from enchanted iron, smooth but too wide, slicked in an oil it generates just for this purpose. You feel every notch, every pulse.

Stretching pain with every thrust, your walls pulled wider than they should ever be. But the golem doesn’t stop. Its programming says you’re strong. Its programming says you can take it.

It’s not smooth. It’s hot, hard, and jagged in places. You feel every gear shift, every pulse of molten energy that runs through its core. The lubricant is unnatural—it tingles, almost numbing—but keeps you stretched and slick no matter how many rounds he takes.

Every orgasm it wrings from you is stolen—tainted with shame and confusion. Your body betrays you, clenching, soaking, reacting like it wants it… even when your mind is screaming no.

The golem makes sure you stay in position afterward, hips raised, leaking its fake seed like a prize. you’re its purpose. it was built to protect villagers—But you’re its village now. You’re all it needs.

red team purgatory day one

half of red team isn't here, nobody knows how to actually PLAY MINECRAFT, and the only person remotely good at pvp here is philza. Carre carries everyone and is off doing his own thing. Even IF the other half of the team is there, the only person i can accurately gauge the ability of is WILBUR, and i have zero faith in his skills lol. Everyone is realizing how much they're going to have to stream, and some will have to change their schedules in order to play effectively. Charlie doesn't stream for 5 hours, but he has to be here for all of this, and it becomes VERY CLEAR, VERY QUICKLY, WHY HE DOESN'T. His voice is dead and he is unravelling at the seams. He hates it here more than anyone. only half of his breakdown is a joke. They're drying. Cellbit and Slime had ENOUGH and just beat each other with sticks. They're devolving and screaming about how much they hate this and they're manic and their arms feel numb and tingly and badboyhalo keeps killing them and they keep dying and life hates them. Jaiden told badboyhalo to kill himself. In a fit of rage they declared that they no longer care about the eggs and they'd rather just go home. They're planning on logging in on Monday only to build a house and start Egg Island Survival LetsPlay where they make an Emerald Empire and only respond in Villiager Hrmms. now they're sing/screaming as their base burns around them, and i can't tell what they're supposed to be singing but they kept repeating "say something I'm giving up on you" and someone started playing the Living TombStone FNAF song. Phil got a globe and gifted everyone a fidget toy to spin and they're just sitting and spinning. Baghera just realized that Phil already had all the saplings they need and she wasted her time, so Phil took off his armor so the two can could fight. Baghera lost even though she had a diamond sword, so Phil just let her kill him so she can be happy. Corpses scatter across their yard. They're killing each other. I started typing this with 20 minutes left and I'm witnessing the longest fucking 20 minutes of my life how is there still 7-whatever minutes left??? CELLBIT JUST CONFESSED TO THE MURDERS AND THEY'RE CONFESSING TO THEIR SINS NOW???? I CAN'T TELL IF CHARLIE'S CONFESSION ABOUT JUANAFLIPPA AND THE CODE IS CANON???? Tech Magick's Biggest Gift:

Minecraft

Witchcraft is all about intention, THAT is the most important thing. The tools we use are just conduits for that intention. While we are sure we all love the witchy aesthetic and proper traditional tools, that is not always viable. Some witches are in the closet, others may not be able to afford all the tools (it adds up rather quickly). So we came up with a clever way to practice witchcraft to our heart's content!

Altars

First let's create our space! Altars are something that can be hard to have IRL. They take up a lot of space and cost money to decorate. So why not do it in Minecraft?

In item frames go ahead and place an item that represents each element. Feel free to get creative with it! Luckily Minecraft added candles so you can use those instead of torches! You can even color the candles for color magick (before hand we just used Minecraft Education Edition and used their colored touches). Make sure to also have a bell for cleansing. For cleansing ingredients you may also want a cauldron with a fire under it.

Ingredients

Luckily Minecraft has a LOT of ingredients! There's amethyst, quartz, lavender. All very basic ingredients. And the ingredients you don't have you can make!

Simple rename an item that looks similar with an anvil! For example this emerald is now a jade. You can also install mods to expand your item options.

Spells

To make a spell jar grab a chest and throw them in! Feel free to label the chest with a sign so you can keep track.

You could also throw the ingredients into a cauldron if it's more of a stove spell.

Sigil spells are also possible! You can make pixel art of the sigil. Unfortunately these end up needing to be quite big, not easy to fit in a virtual house.

You can also use a book and quill! You can use the book as a book of shadows. Or you could write a petition and burn it.

Familiars! Contrary to popular belief a familiar does NOT have to be a living thing! It can be an object or really anything. So why not may it also be a piece of code?

You can also do tarot in Minecraft. This requires some knowledge on redstone. You can take pieces of paper and name them as cards from a tarot deck. Then put them in a redstone randomizer and boom, shuffled deck. We suck at redstone so we've never actually built this one.

Conclusion

There's probably SO much more you could do here, but these are just a few of our ideas! I hope it was able to kick start some people's imaginations and also help those in the broom closet or on a budget!

My @mcyt-halloween gift for @artsy-book! I took a zombie-apocalypse idea, and tried to adapt it a bit to Minecraft! A small bit of story below the cut ^^

Xisuma blinks wearily, looking through the mess that has become the server code. He can see Etho out of the corner of his eye- all sorts of wrong and unlike the player he knows.

He'd been with Etho when the odd virus spread to him- the code was strange, though, and he wasn't able to stop the physical effects, even if he'd managed to protect most of the vital bits of code.

Some wretched noise echos in the distance, but Xisuma does not dare move, even when Etho audibly moves towards it. He needs to focus. He knows Etho wont leave him there alone.

If he can prevent this virus from spreading and infecting the world, then he can start helping his hermits. He just needs to focus. He taps away, reading line after line and trying to find the weak points in the code.

Just as long as he can focus.

-he’s usually not the only caregiver in charge, because he’s not very responsible and often times ends up in shenanigans with you rather than disciplining you. but he will always make sure you’re safe, fed, and happy. he’s just a bit goofy and ignorant.

-he will always be down to play with you, no matter what it is! he plays along and often makes elaborate characters and stories to keep you entertained, even putting on different voices for different toys and characters. he’ll make your stuffies dance and sing and he’s committed to the bit of not breaking character, so he’s very fun to play pretend with.

-he literally sucks at cooking, but he’ll take you to your favorite restaurant to get takeout and have a picnic in the backyard, or even the park if it’s not super busy and crowded!!

-he likes to take you on “adventures” with him, which usually just consist of exploring the wooded area behind his house’s backyard. or, he’s always down to take you to the zoo and the aquarium if the weather isn’t bad. he always ends up buying you a toy from the gift shop, even after he says he won’t give in this time.

-sings to you or hums to calm you down. he remembers all of your favorite songs just for that reason.

-has a problem with accidentally letting swear words slip out in front of you, but he secretly thinks it’s hilarious if you repeat him.

-he never says no to ice cream, even when he should, because he secretly wants it too.

-he loves to make arts and crafts with you or color!

-he’s not really stern, but he always makes sure you’re in bed on time and that you’ve brushed your teeth and showered. he doesn’t scold you for back talking though, but instead tries to reason with you in toddler logic so it’s not too much to process for someone so small.

-he loves to give piggy back rides!! he loves to throw you into the air and catch you, saying silly stuff like “oh my goodness they turned my baby into a little feather!” or “is that a dandelion?” while tossing and catching you. he’s secretly very thankful he lifts and throws people for a living, so he can make days fun for you.

-he will go outside and catch frogs and bugs with you, despite his fear of them.

-he lets you play in mud puddles and sometimes he even joins in with you, but he absolutely hoses you off in the backyard before you two go back inside.

-he lets you braid his hair and play with it, especially after it got super long.

-if you don’t want to do something, he’ll do it himself first to show you it’s not so scary.

-literally spoils you to death with toys, clothes, blankets, pacis, anything he sees that he thinks you may like.

-he’s definitely started a collection of cow print items for baby you to match his ever growing collection of his own.

-he’s helped you start a collection of wwe action figures over the years and he always thinks it’s hilarious when you refuse to keep ones of rey.

-he’s always down to play minecraft with you or watch cartoons with no complaints at all.

-lets you have dessert before dinner so he can also have it.

-goes all out for every holiday and occasion, literally decorating your room and the entire house. he lets you pick all of the decorations.

-he praises you for any and everything, constantly reminding you how much he loves you. (he doesn’t want you to feel the way rey made him feel as a kid)

I love how for everyone else's MCD rewrites, it's more leaning on realism and high fantasy, meanwhile, my tomfoolery of a rewrite (as of current, it might change idk) is MINECRAFT [in its current version + the mod packs Aphmau had] mixed with realism. You see, while everyone else was born into the world and conforms to realistic boundaries (within a realistic high fantasy universe), you got near polar opposites for Aphmau because she applies by MC logic. I wanted to really incorporate as much of actual Minecraft into the story as possible by still making it feel as real as possible. So I've gone with the idea that the universe is sentient [it's the end poem]. And when the universe is ready, it will tear a piece of itself, cradling, forming/remolding and comforting the scared an clueless piece, before releasing it to spawn in a 'player' [the game code creates and places you]. The 'player' is clueless about who they are and the world they're a part of. They are only given 3 parting words from their creator: Go, Live, and Thrive. They are granted a few 'gifts'. The ability to gather materials and 'unlock' recipes, and a limited dimensionsal storage they can pull from. [This makes for some possible HILARIOUS moments. Imagine Garroth finding Aphmau in the mines, and she's pulling out/showing him all the ores/resources she gathered, and he's just starting in abject horror, concern, and fascination over just how MUCH she's carrying and omg how strong is she???] I just like to think that Aphmau is their resident cryptid, and with the backstory/Garroth-Aphmaus first meeting, it makes for an even more hilarious scenario.

So, for example, if a character wants to make bread, they'd have to harvest the wheat, go through the actual process of preparing and baking it to get bread. But for Aphmau, all she has to do is go to a workbench/crafting table and lay her materials down. No one else can see it but her, but there are sigils hidden naturally in the wood. Her mind works like the player recipe book, and as long as she has the correct amount/a surplus, it'll become 'available'. She can shift the wheat across the table in their correct correlation (or until the sigils start to 'glow') and get bread when the sequence is completed. Now, the bread doesn't taste AS good as baked bread, but it's still pretty good. But that's a skill special to HER (and maybe the divine warriors to a lesser extent???) Cue everyone being surprised and concerned cause "how did you do that?" "I didn't even know that was possible!" "The tables cursed"

Neat things I think Arcane characters would be good at!

Vi - I think she’d be a really good debater, if she were to do it. Something a few people have noticed is that she wins all the arguments she has with Caitlyn, and most of the ones she has. Not meaning every season 2 interaction she has with Jinx, she pretty much gets cooked there. Aside from her sister though, she’s a pretty good arguer. This one’s less based on evidence but I think she’d be pretty good at spotting flaws within buildings, maybe because she was a thief?

Caitlyn - I think she’d have grandparent hobbies and be really good at crosswords, chess, word puzzles, etc etc. I don’t think she’d have a lot of trade skills, but anything your grandma does before bed? Fucking immaculate at. Caitlyn kills it at Tetris 0 doubt. She’d also definitely have the patience and shooting skill for hunting.

Jinx - a lot of random skills seem in character for her, but the thing about Jinx is that she’s not naturally gifted at things (her inventions for example). For her to get good at something, it needs to be something she cares about. From then on she’s set. That being said: Escape rooms, very specific video games, fixing any piece of tech, hacking computers, and stealing the personal information of the elderly via Facebook.

Ekko - Parkour and puzzle solving / skill intensive games. I think he’d also be good with maps, like really good. I think he’d could look at a city map for a few seconds and instantly figure out where you are, the fastest route to where you’re going, and all of the things you might be interested in on the way. Kind of going hand-in-hand with parkour, but climbing too. I think he and Vi would have a blast trying to climb the highest building the fastest.

Jayce - I know the common fandom version of Jayce is Dumb Himbo, but if you watch the show closely you see that he’s actually a prodigy at most things he tries. Science, politics, police raids, fighting children etc. I think most things he could just pick up somewhat easily, so it’s hard to tell where his real skills are at until he starts getting excited about them. I think he’d be great at cooking, making drinks, most trade skills, and American football specifically though.

Viktor - Making plans and organizing trips. He’d have a very specific itinerary that was perfectly tailored to the time, traffic, and amount of people in a place. Of course the robotics and coding and skills like that, that hardly needs to be said. Like Caitlyn I also think he’d kick ass at Tetris and chess. More on that point, he’d be great at card games and board games. Never challenge him to Catan, you’ll lose.

Mel - Great in social games that depend on your ability to convince and negotiate with other players. Why should you give her your 12 diamonds in Minecraft? Well she seems to have a perfectly reasonable explanation, and you trust she has your best interests at heart. I know the game’s old news by now, but she’d be great in Among Us. I think also she’d be a great designer, for some reason. For houses, clothes, whatever you can think of. Also if you’re her friend, she could definitely stalk your crush on insta for five minutes and get you everything you need to know about them.

How do Realms Work?

So here’s a brief explanation of how realms work in the rewrite.

So everything is in the void. It is infinite(and alive) the farther down you go the thicker and denser it becomes. The Queen Dragon(Goddess of creation and birth) made Endstone, a material able to “float” on top of the denser parts of the void and began making islands. When she began making creatures to live of them (the Enderfolk)

her brother, the Blood god(the god of Death, Dust and fire) began hunting them.

This angered her so with the help of their youngest sibling(Goddess of Death and Reincarnation)

they banished him to the deepest depths of the void they could access with nothing but the blood of who he hunted and some Endstone.

Using the Blood and Endstone he crafted the Nether as a personal hunting grounds, making the land fertile with the Blood of the Endfolk.

Via some compacted stuff I’ll explain in more detail later, the Queen Dragon realized that her duty’s as Creation God stopped her from protecting her Enderfolk. She removed the power of creation from her body and used the void to craft a new god to take over her dutys. He was rather egotistical and wanted his own realm and people so he left to just below the Queens islands and created the first Overworld. (It is less a physical place and more of a plane of existence)

When sentient creatures began showing up and worshiping him(The Overworld God) he gifted them a small amount of his power, allowing them to create their own Overworlds(though not as expansive as his) these people as called Admins

However his daughter(he has a daughter now idk) thought things had gotten boring and began teaching people who didn’t worship the Overworld God how to access code so they can make their own Overworlds(or realms as their called).

The Overworld God got pissed at his daughter(The Goddess of Chaos) for allowing people to make realms without need for worship(these people are called Hackers) so the Chaos God helped the Hackers make realms Private so they don’t have to worry about the Overworld God getting to them.

And that’s how the Realms work!

The End - the first realm. It has no borders and is home to the Enderfolk, and the Queen Dragon

The Nether - a realm made by the blood god as a hunting ground. Populated by the Piglings, Nether witches, and Nether beasts

The Overworld realms - either the original Overworld made by the Overworld god or the ones made by Admins.(basically the worlds your average Minecraft player makes) Populated by a variety of creatures from Humans, witches and hybrids

The City Realms - realms made by hackers,(imagine them as being like hypixel or 2b2t) they are ruled over by no god and are mostly populated by humans and(depending of the laws of the realm) hybrids, but witches are rare to find.

The Genius Insanity of Pearl’s Impossible Minecraft Ep2

When Pearl said her and Lizzie ‘saw that we liked their ep1 collab’ how could we expect this incredible one-sided enemies arc! Pearl sulks, is egged on into a wild chase, the gains of which are immediately overshadowed, leaving her back at square one.

Spoilers, I guess?

Pearl opens her episode with a tone setting conversation with Gem, where she receives her side quest for the episode. They look out over the server and discuss plans. And here context matters.

Everyone’s got their community contribution. Impulse and Skizz with the iron farm, Grian’s public access wheat/potato farms, Joel’s skeleton spawner, even Gem with her ep1 berry bushes. And Lizzie, with her enchantment table and iron farm path and decorative parkour bridge and wool farm and

Except for Pearl. Who, after all the shenanigans in the first ep, hasn’t put down roots yet or really built much. Two things she will not solve this episode.

Pearl admires and sulks a little over Lizzie’s cool house. Lizzie, who will NOT stop infringing on her brand! Magnificent material-intensive build that outshines and inspires everyone around it, learning new redstone mechanics, community service esp the paths — come on Pearl was literally the path lady in hc8! At this point Lizzie may as well put on a red cloak and record at 5 am!

Gem of course recognizes all of this and uses it for evil. She points out Pearl’s reaction with the type of glee only best friends can reach and taunts Pearl into action. Of course she’s gonna out-do Lizzie, right? Gem also sends her down the funniest path possible of acquiring one of her least favorite wood types. Ohh, Gem loves building with dark oak, if only someone was already building with it!

While outwardly confused by Gem’s over the top behavior, Pearl rolls with it and sets off on her material grabbing adventure. She stumbles across a couple odds and ends, and despite admitting that she doesn’t want any, goes incredibly out of her way to get dark oak. Aww. She’s so sweet when she’s competitive. Inevitably, she dies a couple times, but pulls herself up and cheerfully chats with people when she respawns.

And Lizzie, who is endlessly kind and caring and helpful and impossible to hate, giving out charitable iron helmets and offering her very horse up to Pearl. Her horse! Which dies, as many things do in this series, not that Lizzie minds all that much. But of course Pearl raises the stakes and promises a better horse to replace the one she lost.

(I’d put money on it that MrMakisten is coding up evil horse mechanics into the pack as we speak)

Eventually, Pearl finally returns with all (most) of her things and breathes a sigh of relief. Yet, before she can properly gift Gem the saplings and celebrate, her success is immediately overshadowed by Impulse and Skizz arriving with stacks and stacks of iron blocks. At Lizzie’s base, no less.

Pearl recognizes as the end of the episode that she spent a lot of time on a little thing. And honestly given the Horrors necessary to do anything in the datapack, she did make notable progress. But what gets to her isn’t the episode itself, no, it’s that she didn’t get her brand back. She could’ve just built her house and/or a farm of some sort and contributed just fine.

But that wouldn’t be enough in her head.

Fantastic episode all around! I’m so curious to see what happens in the nether, and if she’s actually able to make her house.

All the analysis said, this is for fun, and I love Pearl and Lizzie and the rest of the gang. I hope they keep having as much fun as they can in the series :)

Was suddenly possessed with the desire for a lil set of profiles for everyone in the Corrupted World minecraft AU!! you can probably tell by their names that these guys started life in the Bendy fandom, but then we got really carried away with MINECRAFT LORE...

the Basic Premise of Corrupted World AU is that when a bit of code gets corrupted, or degrades over time, the world replaces that code with something similar -- a corrupted bit of grassland will be overwritten by the code of nearby grassland. This works fine for most things, but there's nothing else like a Player in the world of Minecraft.................... these little bits of encroaching mob data have been mostly benign, until Joey's curiosity stretches the world to its limits, and the world's corruption becomes more aggressive.

Some basic notes on everyone under the cut!

Jack is an old player whose code changed so slowly that he honestly can't remember a time when he wasn't a little sheepy. A peaceful, friendly guy who loves to explore and makes contacts wherever he goes -- moving from village to village, build to build, to bring items he's found in his travels to trade and sell, sounding his own broken goat horn to announce his wares. Thanks to Jack, the world's far-flung players might be able to start to connect again...

Sammy is a grumpy and strangely cautious player who keeps to himself ever since he escaped from an Ancient City..... changed. He was once an adventurous builder with an exacting sense of aesthetics, but now he's just trying to survive quietly with his sheep. Afflicted with painfully sensitive hearing and infected with sculk, he hides in an underground, wool-insulated home out in the hills and lives the most pacifist life he can manage, avoiding any death that could spread the sculk in his body.

Henry was always driven to look out for others, and when he died defending a village from attack, the grateful villagers helped to revive him the only way they knew how. He kind of wishes they'd just let him respawn... not realising some glitching armour had scrambled his health too badly to come back normally. In any case, Henry's gotten attached to the village... becoming more protective of the people there... almost unwilling to leave.

A bit of a loner with a strange sense of humour, Norman often lingered near the ocean and didn't notice the little changes like not needing air when his water-breathing potions should've run out... until the corruption of his code made it sort of impossible for him to return to land. That's alright; he's perfectly happy to hassle the others when they wander into his territory.

Wickedly clever with a knack for experimentation, Susie was left stranded in the Nether a long time ago and was determined to thrive even in that hellish domain -- and thrive she did. Now she's gotten a bit of reputation even on the Overworld, both for a mastery of potions and magic, and a cruel willingness to take what she wants.

Ever since Joey defeated the Ender Dragon and heard that conversation between two mysterious voices, he hasn't been able to let go of the idea that there is something more beyond this world of blocks and code -- but this charismatic dreamer has been prying at the world's secrets well before that. He convinced Susie to join him as the first to explore the Nether, talked Sammy into delving into an Ancient City with him, and tried to get Henry to join him in his quest for the End, gifting him code-modified armour that was better than anything his old friend could get. For some reason, though, they all lost contact, and Joey found himself alone in the End, where more code experiments in a land where only one mob is really prevalent had... an effect on him....

Pete isn't a player at all, he's a villager... but one day he found himself outside of his village, suddenly realised how big the world is, and couldn't resist the urge to explore. He's close with Jack, and has joined up with him on some expeditions to aid his own work as a cartographer. Without the ability to respawn, though, it's significantly more dangerous for him, and the two of them MAY have poked into some evoker magic looking for an alternative...

Linda is deeply interested in the world's history, curious what sort of people or ancient players must've once populated the ruins, and she's also an experienced crafter with a penchant for metalworking. While the world of Minecraft has no real concept of monogamous relationships, she's settled with Henry as her one-and-only... which works out now that he's partially made of metal. Linda hadn't experienced any code corruption until data replacement became more aggressive, and it's still subtle for now. But it's handy to be able to touch things that are burning hot without taking damage!

Fixing Sammy should be easy enough, Joey thought. Some of his data was corrupted by sculk -- if they can find that lost data in the code somewhere, it just needs to be reintegrated with Sammy. Attach it to an eye of ender, replace one of Sammy's eyes with the eye of ender -- simple! A complete Sammy! ...the lost data itself had other ideas. This strange construct that collected around the eye Joey provided is a mix of Sammy's lost data, garbled junk data, and -- he claims -- the remnants of an Ancient Player from the days when end cities were populated, before everything went so wrong and Minecraft's world became so lonely. His speech is glitchy and garbled, struggling to describe a Game and Code and a True Player that he believes must reset a world that has been "running too long." In lieu of a username, this apocalyptic anomaly goes by "the Prophet".
