His gaze flickered away, his usual stoic mask slipping ever so slightly. He wasn't used to being taken care of—to being vulnerable. But as he felt the steady rhythm of your breathing and the warmth of your embrace, a strange sense of comfort settled over him.

"...Just this once," he murmured, closing his eyes.

You smiled, tightening your hold just a little. "Just this once."
