Step one

I use the brush from here

It's costs like three dollars but you could probably use the square sketch from nurins pack

Either way the idea is that it's a thin brush with not a lot of taper at the end of the brush stroke and there's not much stabilisation setting on it

Step two

Head is built like an egg

Honestly it doesn't even have to be that elongated it just needs to be an oval

Very stickbug esque make him very lanky

also don't worry about anatomy the idea is that he's very exaggerated

Add details

It's okay to have it messy that's the essence of sticcbug hb he's very messy and very expressive the details don't need to be TOO cohesive

Ofcs it's also okay to erase places where it's TOO messy but all up for personal preference

Step six?

Adjust to how you like

If you noticed the arms were too long in step five but it's okay to have wonky looking bits in the earlier stages cause you can always change it when you finish

Add finishing details like emotive doodles

Hii min!! I would like to say a bit of appreciation for your drawings and stuff, for they look amazing!! I cannot imagine how much time and work you put into them (I could’ve never) I love your art style (especially the Hobie drawings, may I eat them????)

I got a question though. I am drawing myself and I guess they can be pretty decent, but maybe you’ve got some tips? Or how do you draw the characters in your style but that they actually look like the characters?? (Because when I try to draw them, they look like another character or their brother 💀)
