#my art #art q #cell shading #chibi #misc bg #little nightmares #fanart #in other news i am slowly recovering from the whole like #being possessive of my art and artstyle #after the whole bunsong youtube series of unfortunate events plus dailycelebi #so if you wanted to ask how i do any certain things i am very likely to share now..!#i still say dont heavy ref my art and post it #like u can do that to learn privately #but otherwise idk i am overcoming it #oh and dont heavy reference my commission work ofc thats for the paying customer #anyways this took me like 20 or 30 mins #actually i can check #yeah 21 mins #i should stream little nightmares again #also i recognise my possessiveness of my art was partly cuz like i was not at all used to being seen outside my friends anyways #and my art is a big part of my identity #so seeing someone copy it as best as they could was very unsettling at the time #but after a lot of introspection and breaking down why i felt that way i started to recover after realising that like #people doing that arent stripping me of my identity and wearing it right #they just liked my art #except the users who traced or heavy reffed my shit and didnt credit me nor ask and then sold it those guys dont count #but yeah im still figuring it all out internally #actually making those bases really helped !!

this is something that's either been highly asked or requested:

"xander where do you get your scenepacks?"

the thing this: i do not use any. as in, yes, i sit here and spend hours surfing for footage by watching every episode (some i do memorise and some... i do it all manually) SO!! to give back to the community, i will start making scenepacks for you guys. but here's the thing:

i do not want to make them hours long, so i will either divide by mood or seasons (your pick)

also this does not mean i will add every footage of said character into the scenepack bc lets be real... half of it would be unusable

so please feel free to request any character you want a scenepack for (im guessing a lot of you want skarra so i will get him cleared first) but also THIS TAKES TIME. A LOOOONG TIME. so i appreciate your patience on that as well

If anyone wonders why a lot of webcomics look the same it's because a lot of them use clip studio resources for the environments, items, and even character poses. (That's why you'll see common poses in characters and why some look stiff.) I think some use the art of rotoscoping with the character models, but not all as I've seen resources for eyes and hair.

Just a neat fact I, imo.

#mine #I'm not against it #I think of it as the same as RPG maker #I just think that while people are aware creators use programs for BG and misc. items #they aren't away they use it for people as well #but if you read enough you'll see a pattern in artwork #especially hands and male chests #hell you'll even see the same female background character after a time #It's actually a fun game #manwha #webcomics #clip studio #clip studio paint

Tbh it could be cool to check on every now and again just for art refs!!! You get SOOO few glimpses of what Askr looks like as A Place...... through the occasional battle map that features the castle to MAYBE. MAYBE. The few and far between Cipher art illustrations LMFAO (there IS the Engage DLC too w Veronica's Emblem map!!!! YOU GET. SUCH A GLIMPSE..... more than usual IN A 3D SPACE but it is very much just A Glimpse.............)

I think At.eez really raised the bar for artists known from k.pop and performing at Coa.chella bc girl what is THAT

#misc; ooc #//li.sa's performance had everything that could make it good #//she had the sets had the amazing dancers the stunning outfits the bg visuals #//but when it comes to singing. let's say I wasn't impressed #//the backtrack was so loud and she barely even sang for the most part #//esp with the backtrack it was so painfully obvious when she does sing and when not #//and when the backtrack wasn't so loud on the more slow songs like kiss me I wasn't impressed with the singing either #//like if atz could dance these hard ass dances and sing phenomenally on top of that #//then i expect a singer to be able to sing esp when they are barely dancing #//checking her performance after seeing tyla's (where she did also do some dancing mind you. that was a good perf) it was such a whiplash #//at the end with elastic girl it was much little better but overall it was just meh #//it's giving go girl give us nothing
