Baby Sitter’s Club - Ch 18
A/N: Hello again! I know it has been a while (though not as long as previously.) But I am *trying* to write the rest of this story as quickly as I can. I appreciate all the patience and understanding.
Trigger warnings: none that I can think of…
Pairing: Misha x Reader

It was two days after telling West and Maison about your new relationship with Misha before they started to act differently. Nothing bad, thank goodness, but you noticed that they watched you and Misha more when all four of you were together. They would move seats at the table to have you and Misha sitting next to each other, or they asked for more activities that involved all four of you. The first time Misha had shown any overt affection in front of them had sent them into a fit of giggles.
All four of you had cuddled up on the couch to watch a movie. It was after the time you would normally leave, but you didn’t mind. The kids had begged you to stay and tuck them into bed after the movie. It was an easy ‘yes.’
You sat next to Misha, your legs curled up on the couch, with West between you and him, and Maison in his lap. You hadn’t noticed as Misha’s arm had gone up to rest along the back of the couch until it slunk to rest around your shoulders, pulling you in to rest your head on his shoulder. It was a simple gesture and you smiled at how easy it was. You were also surprised at how comfortable you were with it in front of the kids (not that it was a huge display, but it was more than you’d ever done before.) Oh sure, there had been kisses, more like pecks, here and there when you would arrive or before you would leave. A couple hugs had been thrown in the mix as well, but somehow the kids had either never noticed or been in another room.
West had let out a little giggle as you noticed him watching you and his dad cuddling. You’d resisted the urge to move away. Not because you disliked it or were uncomfortable, just because it was new. You weren’t used to it. You felt Misha’s fingers trail over your arm and shoulder in comforting caress and smiled as you relaxed and gave West a little wink.
The movie and gone quickly and as the credits rolled you noticed that both West and Maison were sound asleep in your laps. With a soft smile and a sigh you and Misha each picked up a sleeping body and carried them to their room.
“I should be heading home, it’s late.” You said softly as Misha closed the kids’ bedroom door. He looked up at you and you already knew what he was going to ask.
“You could stay?” He offered. You smiled at him.
“You have no idea how badly I want to say yes…”
“Then say yes.” He offered, his voice low and husky as he slid his hands around you to clasp behind your back.
“Misha, I can’t.” You stretched up to gently kiss his lips. “I want to, believe me, but I’m not at the comfort level of having a sleep over with the kids here.” He nodded and then rested his forehead against yours. “Soon, just give me a little more time.”
“Of course, Y/N.” He gently kissed the tip of your nose. “I’m not trying to push. It’s just hard when you leave. I like having you around. I like spending time with you.”
“I know. I like spending time with you.” Misha’s arms went slack around you before he reached out and took your hand and started walking for the door.
“Y/N, the kids asked to spend tomorrow night with Vic.” You looked at him, his eyes seeming to glitter at the idea currently bouncing around his head. “Would you want to come over and spend some time-just the two of us-after they leave?” It only took a heartbeat for your answer to come to your lips.
“Absolutely.” The smile that lit up Misha’s face made your heart jump in doubletime. He leaned down and kissed you, his warm lips sliding along yours, begging to taste you completely. You sucked his lip into your mouth, gently nibbling on it before soothing it with your tongue. Misha let out a growl and you stifled a giggle.
“I am ten seconds away from hauling you over my shoulder and carrying you to my room caveman-style.” He growled.
“Mmmm, promises.” You teased and he narrowed his eyes at you. “Alright, alright. I’ll be good.” He kissed you one last time before stepping back.
“I planned to take the kids to the park and then Vicki was going to pick them up from here just before lunch time.” He shoved his hands in his pockets, “If you wanted, you could come with us to the park and then just stay after they leave.”
“As much as I would love to go to the park with you guys, I have to go into the office tomorrow and submit travel receipts and do some routine eval papers.” You pouted a little. “I wont be able to get out of there until at least one, maybe two if my current job has left any negative reviews on my evaluation forms.” You grinned at him.
“Oh no.” He feigned concern. “I heard they left the worst review. Half a star. Terrible service. Late with the food. You name it.” You rolled your eyes and swatted his arm lightly.
“I can be here right after.” Your hopeful eyes met his. “Should I have an overnight bag packed?” The heat that filled his eyes threatened to burn you alive.
“Yes, although, I don’t know that you will actually be using anything inside it.”
“Mmm, promises, promises.” You breathed before stretching up to kiss him one last time. “Alright. I need to go before we get into a situation like the kitchen in Vancouver.” The memory of West almost catching you two was still very fresh and strong in your mind. Misha let out a groan but gently released you. “I’ll call you when I’m on my way over?”
“Sounds perfect.” He agreed with a nod.
“Alright, Mish. I’ll see you tomorrow.”
“See you tomorrow.” He rumbled as you stepped out the front door. You felt him watch you until you were safely in your car (not that his neighborhood was unsafe by any means.) The butterflies in your stomach calmed a touch as you turned the key in the ignition and made your way home.
~~~
“Hey, Sylv.” You said as you entered the front office. Your friend beamed up at you.
“Hey, Y/N! God it’s been forever!” She stood up and wrapped you in a big hug. “How have you been?”
“I’ve been great. Glad the traveling is done for at least right now.” She nodded.
“I can imagine. Must be nice to have some off time coming up. Got any plans?”
“Not really. Misha invited me to an award thing with the cast.” Sylvia’s face morphed a little and it made you pause. “What?”
“He invited you as like a friend?” She asked, a suspicious note in her voice. “Because it’s your off time and you’re not supposed to be working. And he signed that NDA and your privacy clause.”
“It wouldn’t be a working thing.” You answered truthfully.
“Is it like a date?” The tone of her voice made you pause. “Please say it’s not a date, Y/N.” When you didn’t answer she sucked in a breath and looked around to see if anyone was listening. “Y/N, I’m not going to rat on you, but if something is going on with Mr. Hot-Single-Dad-Collins, you need to keep it very quiet. It is an extreme breach in protocol to start anything romantic with a client, and you could get fired.” You blinked a few times letting everything sink in.
“So, theoretically,” you started and gave her a look that told her it definitely wasn’t theoretical at all, “if I were to start a romantic relationship with Misha, I would have to either quit working or keep it completely hidden?”
“Well, theoretically, you wouldn’t have to stop working, just stop working with him.” You gave her a very confused look not understanding.
“Why?”
“Because, again this is all theoretical, think about what that looks like...a woman is sleeping with someone who is paying her...what does that sound like?” Horror dawned on your face. “It may not be exactly like being a call girl, but it’s dangerous nonetheless. What is to stop a girl from entering a romantic relationship and then when things go sour she turns around and accuses him of pressuring her into it because he is paying her salary? What’s to stop clients from expecting that kind of added service.”
“But you know I’m not like that…”
“I know, but Y/N,” her voice dropped low so that only you could hear, “you need to be very careful. I wont say anything because I am your friend, but he is a public figure too. He’s got paparazzi around him all the time. If anything happens...keep it behind closed doors until you have decided to end your contract with him. If the higher ups hear about anything...it will cost you your job.” You nodded vigorously and she stared at you. “Does he make you happy?”
“Like you can’t imagine Sylvia.” You breathed. “He’s so good with his kids, and he treats me like I am his top priority. He’s always made me feel like I’m part of the family. He is so amazing and when I’m with him my stomach is filled with butterflies and my heart is in overtime.”
“Good. You deserve to be happy. I will do everything I can to field and screen social media and stories.”
“Thank you Sylv. You really are the best.” You hugged her again. “Alright, I gotta sit down for my eval paperwork and submit my last round of travel receipts. Do I go to the back conference room?”
“Yeah, Trish should be back there soon. She just got back from maternity last week.” You gave her a nod.
“Thank you Sylvia.” When she waved you off you caught her eye. “No, I mean it. Thank you.”
“Of course, Y/N. You deserve the best.” You smiled at her and she winked before you turned and made your way back to the conference room.
~~~
You sat in your car, in Misha’s driveway, staring at the little bag of clothes in your passenger seat. You were an adult, and knew very well what adults did, but staring at the little bag felt a touch like you were doing something naughty. It was taking your relationship to the next level and it was a heady moment. With one deep breath you grabbed the little bag and exited your car. Misha opened the door and smiled at you as you made your way up to the front door and you couldn’t help but smile back. “Hey,” you said as he watched you approach.
“Hey.” He leaned in to kiss you but you dodged. He cast you a confused and slightly hurt look before shutting the door. “Everything ok?”
“Uhm, yeah. Just got some news at my eval. Nothing to worry about though.” You answered before gently stretching up to give him the kiss he wanted. You felt his hands land on your hips before sliding up and around your back.
“Well, good. I have it on good authority that your employer left a glowing review.” He teased before kissing you and you smiled into the kiss.
“Since I’m amazing at my job I wouldn’t expect anything less.” He let out an agreeing noise before sealing your lips in another kiss. His tongue traced your lips before entering your mouth and tangling with your own. You melted into the kiss, your body going languid and hot in his arms. Somehow without you noticing he’d pressed you back a step or two and you felt the solid wood of his front door behind you. You could feel his hardness pressed against you and it sent a zing of excitement through you. You wanted him so bad.
One of his hands slid down your back to gently grab your thigh and haul it up over his hip, pressing his arousal right where you both wanted it most. You let out a whimper as he ground into you. His lips trailed away from your mouth, down your jaw to the spot where your neck met your shoulder. “I made a reservation for us at that little Italian restaurant down the way that you like.” he rumbled into your skin before nipping and kissing you again.
“Oh, Misha,” you panted, “that sounds…” you froze as his words penetrated the thick fog of want you were in. “Wait - no!” you cried. Misha jumped in your arms, freezing and looking at you. “We can’t go out in public.” you pleaded.
“What? Y/N, why?” Concern flicked over his face and you sighed.
“I learned something at my eval meeting today.” His hands gently fell away from you as the mood was thoroughly broken. You sighed. “Before you think anything crazy, I want you to know, I want to go out with you in public. I don’t want to hide this. I mean I’m nervous about what others are going to say, but I want this.” you grabbed his hand gently. “If we go public right now I will lose my job.” Misha jerked back and looked at you.
“What?” He stared at you completely and utterly confused. You let out another heavy sigh and tugged on his hand to move away from the door. You wanted to at least sit down while you explained. You sat on his couch and pulled him to sit next to you.
“So, Sylvia, my friend, and I were talking,” you started, “and she knows about ‘us.’ Or rather she knows you and I are leaning towards there being and ‘us.’” He gave a small, slow nod. “And she told me about a company policy that I’d never heard of before. I’d never considered company policy on the matter before, honestly. You’re the only...I’ve never...this isn’t…” you trailed off and watched as a smile touched his eyes, realizing you were admitting that you’d never developed feelings for or started a relationship with a client before. You were so cute when you were flustered. “Anyway, she told me that company policy is that if a nanny and a client are found in this sort of situation the nanny is fired. No warning. No second chances. Done, and basically blacklisted.” You took a steadying breath, “If we want to go public, we need to terminate our contract.”
“Ok,” he started slowly, “so we do that.” he said it so matter of factly it made you want to laugh.
“Misha, that means I wont be able to be here all the time. That means I wont be going to Vancouver with you anymore. I wont get to see and spend time with the kids, or you, like I do now.”
“Why not?”
“I still need to work.” Realization started to dawn in his eyes. “I don’t want to stop working, but if we’re in a relationship that means I can’t work for you. So I would have to be hired on as a nanny with another family, and while I can opt out of traveling, it would still take up a bunch of my time. We told West and Maison that nothing would change right away.” He paused to think about it.
“No, we need you here.” He agreed. “Couldn’t you leave the agency and just work for me while being with me?” Before the sentence even left his mouth he knew that wasn’t going to work.
“Misha, we are so new, and that is basically asking me to be your live-in girlfriend.” You gave him an awkward smile, “Actually it’s more like being a kept woman.” You shrugged a little, trying to keep your emotions in check. “Imagine if we don’t work out. I’m left with nothing. No job. No support. Nothing to fall back on.” A look of hurt crossed Misha’s face.
“You really don’t think we’re going to work out?” You touched his cheek, “Or that I’d leave you ass out like that if we didn’t?”
“No, I don’t think you’d do that.” You had to give him credit. He and Vicki had ended amicably and had made sure each other were taken care of so no one was hurting at the end. It wasn’t bitter, and you had no doubts he’d make sure you were steady on your own two feet rather than leave you out in the cold. “But I’m a planner. I have to plan for the worst and hope for the best. I jump to the worst case scenario so that I’m prepared for everything. It’s part of what makes me so good at my job.” He gave a nod and then let out a slow sigh.
“Alright. So we don’t go public right now.” You nodded. “But we are going to have to figure out what to do about this. I don’t want to have to hide forever.” You nodded again.
“I don’t either. I know it’s going to be an adjustment with you being famous, but I want that. I just have to figure out what to do with my job.” He nodded and then hugged you.
“Alright.” His hands came up to clasp your jaw in his palms and he looked into your eyes. “You’re right. We need to be smart about this. Slow and steady with the public stuff. When we’re both ready we’ll figure it out.” You smiled at him. “I just…” he let out a pent up breath. “I don’t know how to say this without sounding sappy, but you make me happy Y/N and I want to show that off to the world. It’s hard to pretend like there isn’t anything between us when we’re in public. But I will do my best to keep my hands to myself.” He grinned mischievously, “At least in public...at least for now.” You grinned back at him.
“Good.” He pulled you to him to kiss you.
“Well, since dinner plans are changing, lets go see what we have that we can make…” you both stood, “or,” he started his eyes trailing over your body, “we could order in and I could eat take out off your body in my bed.” A laugh escaped your throat. “You’re right, that’s a tad messy.” He wrinkled his nose. “Let’s go scour the kitchen then.”
~~~
Misha’s eyes watched you from across the room. No matter how many times he told you not to, there you were, standing at his sink loading his dishwasher while he packed away the leftovers from dinner. To say your earlier conversation had thrown him a curveball would have been an understatement, but honestly it was just enough of a wake up call to keep his head on straight. Yes you’d both decided to be more than just employer and nanny, but he did lead a very public life and you needed to ease into that. This little hiccup would help him to ease you into the public and see if it was something you even liked. If you decided you wanted to stay behind the scenes he’d gladly do that too, so long as he got to have you. Now that he let himself feel the feelings he’d been trying to push away and hide, he wasn’t going to let you get away.
He was telling the truth when he said you made him happy. Having you around made him feel things he hadn’t felt in a long time. You were easy going and everyone loved having you around. Just a look from you could have his heart thumping and his blood heating. Keeping his hands to himself was tough, but now did he really need to anymore?
With that thought he moved quickly and quietly behind you. As you straightened from loading the last dish into the dishwasher you felt Misha behind you and spun around to look at him. The heat and hunger in his eyes had your blood racing and without a second thought you stretched up to kiss him. Your lips met, and parted, as if in a primal dance for dominance but neither of you really cared who would win. You felt his hands grip your legs and lift you up onto the counter, and you pulled him closer to you, circling and trapping him with your legs.
Gently his fingers traced the skin of your stomach before dragging your shirt up off your body and dropping it to the floor. His lips trailed from yours down your neck to your collar bones before settling on the swell of your breast. His deft hands found the clasp of your bra and soon it was laying in a heap on the floor in his kitchen along with your shirt. Electric shocks shot through you as his tongue swirled around first one then the other nipple. You gripped his shoulders, a soft sigh slipping from your mouth as he explored your body. You felt him shift as he moved lower, dragging his tongue along the hem of your pants. “Misha…” you whined as the button popped and the zipper lowered. He stood, his lips going to yours as his fingers dipped into your pants to touch and tease at your clit. The electricity that flowed through your body at his touch had you weak in the knees and your back arched as you gripped the edge of the counter behind you.
He watched your face as he touched you, mesmerized by the way your features morphed and changed as the pleasure moved through you. You were so beautiful. He wanted you. He wanted to taste you, and hear you, and feel you as you took all the pleasure he could give you until neither of you could move any more.  His lips captured yours as his fingers circled the tender, swollen bundle of nerves, swallowing your groan. “Y/N…” he groaned as he teased you and rocked his body into yours. He slid his hand under your leg, gripping the rim of the sink with his hand, and hiked it up higher as your breath caught in your throat. He slid his hand lower, his longest finger entering you while his thumb rubbed insistent circles.
Your head was foggy and you felt almost drunk of the pleasure assaulting your senses. You weren’t going to last much longer and you wrenched your lips away, sucking in air as you panted towards the sky. “Yes, Misha.” You whimpered. “Don’t stop. Please don’t stop.” You practically begged as you felt your body cresting the mountain of pleasure before you. You leaned back, bracing one hand on the counter and gripping his shirt and shoulder with the other. You watched his hand move in and out of you, the skin of his wrist flexing as the cloth of your panties moved with his hand. You dragged your eyes up to his and the heat and hunger in his eyes was enough to have you falling over the edge. Your back arched as you froze and held your breath through the first waves of pleasure.
“Let me hear you, Y/N.” Misha’s gravelly voice begged into your ear. With the next pulse a moan slipped from your lips and you felt Misha shutter while watching you. Your eyes fluttered closed as your body hummed before relaxing against his chest.
“Misha,” you took a breath, “that was...oh my god.” You looked up at him and marveled at the satisfied grin on his face. You could feel him still hard and insistent, pressed up against you. He pulled his hand from your pants, hungry eyes examining the wet glistening on his fingers. You watched with lust filled eyes as he stuck his finger in his mouth and licked it clean. “My turn…” you panted as you reached for the button on his jeans.
“Wait,” Misha stilled your hands with his, “if you touch me right now I wont be able to last, and I want to be inside you when I finish.  This is not where I want our first time to be.” He took a steadying breath before letting your leg drop down and scooping you close to him again. You captured his lips with yours before gently pushing him away from the counter and hopping down yourself. Your eyes met his and you took his hand before slowly leading him down the hall to his room. There was so much more you wanted to explore...this was only the beginning.
Y/n and I laid in bed. Our bedroom lights flickering, and our TV blurring for a few seconds. Then the lights and our TV went back to normal. I switched the TV to new station wondering what the forecast was, “The forecast for the rest of the night, is thunder and lightning.” An older man said.
The entire day had been sunny, no clouds could even be seen in the day sky. Odd that all the sudden we’d get a rain storm, but I’m no meteorologist. “Are you asleep yet, baby?” I asked Y/n. “No, just watching the news, because you changed the channel.” she said messing with her pillow.
“Okay, okay. I’ll change it.” I said before going back to the hallmark channel. We had been watching a crazy love story for the Valentine special on Hallmark. “Thank god, all of these hallmark movies aren’t the same.” Y/n said before a yawn interrupted her speech.
“Sounds like we should get to sleep.” I said, and Y/n agreed shaking her head. As she rolled over to turn her side table lamp off, I turned off the tv, and then my side table lamp. “Good night, baby.” I said before kissing her softly on her temple. “Good night, honey.” She said, and then grabbed my arm and rolled against my body.
My body heat and her keeping us both very warm.
That was until early in the morning, I woke up to tossing and turning in the bed. Usually this never happened, not unless something had been bothering Y/n and she had elected to not talk about it last night before bed.
I sat up in bed, and waited for only a few minutes. Needing to know if this would stop, or if I needed to wake Y/n up. The clash of thunder and lightning made Y/n shift again in her position. Then she’d let out a huge sigh, and stay still. I only let this repeat twice, seeing as I needed to wake her up.
I shook her and said “Baby, honey wake up.” She murmured something that I couldn’t hear. “Y/n. Wake up.” I said shaking her a little harder. When she fell out of her sleep, she gasped like she’d be holding her breathe. “Make it stop, Misha.” She said trying to catch her breath, “Make what stop? Y/n, just come here.” I spoke.
“Make the storm outside stop, Please.” She said coming closer to my body. “I’m so scared, please make it go away.” She said jumping into my body when the thunder clashed against the night sky. I hadn’t realized that she was so afraid of the thunder and lighting.
We had a few bad rain storms but nothing that was bad like the thunder that was beating down outside. In my arms Y/n shook and cried. “Baby, it can’t hurt you.”  I said softly brushing her hair down with my hand.
“I’m here to protect you.” I said humming. “Can-- Can you keep talking?” she asked tapping her fingers against my chest. “Of course, baby.” Once when I was young, and I cried because of the thunder outside, I’d run to my mother and father’s room. Jumping into their bed, my mother would hold me and cover my ears while humming an old song that her mother had sang to her.
“I'm going to cover your other ear okay, so all you can hear is the humming and not the thunder.” I said placing my hand over her ear. “You know you could have told me that you were afraid of the thunder.” I spoke. “I would have understood.” “I’m going to tell you a story, one about me as a child.” I spoke.
“Where my family and I were living it was un-usual for it to rain at all. But when it did, I was always scared. So, I’d run to my parents' room, my small feet hitting the title floor of our house. By the time I'd make it to my mother’s room, she’d be up waiting for me, with her warm arms open for me to fall into.” I spoke. I stopped to check up on Y/n. Her breathing was better, and her crying had stopped.
“She’d pick me up setting me in her lap, pulling the sheets up and over both of our bodies. My arms wrapping around her waist, and she’d hum one of her songs that she’d learned before coming to America. One hand always covering my ear while the other rubbed small circles into my back. She whispers that she loved me, falling asleep in my mother's arms, and I'd wake up in her arms.” I spoke.
Again, checking on Y/n, her breathe was slow and regular. Telling me at least that she had fallen asleep. “I love you baby,” When I said that, Y/n grabbed onto my t-shirt and squeezed it was almost as if she was saying ‘I love you’ back to me. And here Y/n and I laid in bed in each other arms.
In the morning, we were in the same position, her lite snoring, and long eyelashes covering her cheeks. I had woken up only a few minutes before she did. This was one of my favorite things to do, watch her sleep-in peace. “You’re so beautiful.” I said kissing her temple.
Her eye fluttered open, sleep could be seen in her eyes. “Good morning!” She said slightly stretching out. “You’re so warm. And squishy.” She said giggling a little. “Thanks!” I said rolling my eyes and smiling.
“I’m sorry you had to wake me up last night.” Y/n said keeping her eye contact on her hands. “It’s perfectly fine baby. You were scared and it’s my job to protect you.” I said lifting her chin, so I could look at her.
She nestled her face in to my hand, and said “I love you, and thank you.” And here Y/n and I laid in bed, legs tangled together, and our hearts in each other's hands.
She’s A Beauty, Such A Cutie
Help yourself to a cute drabble based on the song Can’t Take Her Anywhere by Dylan Scott! (377 words) Song 10 from Deluxe Edition
You ever see someone and you don’t know a thing about them except that the single most important reason for their existence is to bring bright rays of sunshine to the ever-darkening world?
That’s my girl. Y/N.
You ain’t ever seen someone so beautiful and funny and darn right perfect as she is.
Now you might think that I’m biased. I suppose I am. I am hopelessly in love with her, after all. That does lend its hand to some kind of bias. But I also know for a fact that I’m not making this up. I’m not the only person who can see her this way.
Everywhere we go, she’s the center of attention. Not on purpose. She doesn’t even notice it. But as soon as we go anywhere, people are drawn to her. They want to get to know her. They see her smile and become addicted instantly. If I ever leave her alone at a bar, even just to grab some drinks, I always return to some guy trying his luck and hoping for her number.
So, you see, I’m not just making this up. She’s special. Everyone can see it.
And I’m the lucky one she goes home with every night. It’s my lap she sits on after turning down the heartbroken bastard at the bar. It’s my hand hers fits in so perfectly when we stroll down the boardwalk. And my lips are the lucky ones that know every inch of her body.
So I can’t really blame anyone who tries to wiggle their way into her life. Hell, I was there. I was the star-struck soul at the bar blinded by her spotlight. And now I can’t take her anywhere without everyone watching. It doesn’t bother me. Maybe if she gave any sort of indication that she didn’t love me, I would mind the way guys’ eyes follow her ass when she walks away. But she’s mine, and there is no question in my mind about that.
So let the fellas at the bar puff out their chests and flash their fancy watches. Let them flirt and fish for her attention. Let them try.
Because at the end of the day it’s my bed that her sunshine bright smile is warming.
October Drabble 30
Drabble 30/365
“Trick or Treat!” hollered a mob of kids as you opened the front door. You smiled at you and held out the basket full of candies.
“Here. But remember only two for each of you. Otherwise, it will not be enough for everyone,” you reminded them playfully. The children giggled and nodded. Each of them grabbed two things from the basket and then made their way to the next house.
You closed the door again and set the candy down on the dresser. The basket was already half empty but you were sure that it would be enough for the rest of the kids that would come to your house. And if not you will plunder Misha’s secret stash. The man was even more of a sweet tooth your daughter.
“Why don’t you let me get the door next time? You must be exhausted.” asked said man as he stood in the doorway to the kitchen.
“Because you will eat all the candy yourself. Don’t even start to deny it!” you interrupted before Misha could even open his mouth. “I know you.”
He smiled. “That you do.” he chuckled and stepped towards you. “Still. You back has to be killing you by know.”
“It’s not that bad,” you responded as you rubbed over your swollen belly. Even heavenly pregnant you would be damned before you let your husband anywhere near the candy.
“At least sit-down. I will do the dishes today.” Misha declared and let you over to the living room.
“Thank you,” you smiled at him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
Father’s Day Surprises
Pairings: Misha x Reader
Word Count: 1.1k
Warnings: It’s just fluff. That’s all. There may be a swear word or two.
A/N: So here’s some fluff... As an apology for all of the angst that is about to come your way. This was supposed to be a drabble, but you know. I wrote this up really quickly and I didn’t have time to edit it, so I apologize. Happy Father’s Day!
“I don’t know why they held a convention on Father’s Day!” Misha exclaimed over the phone.
You sighed, hating to hear your husband’s agitation. “I know, babe, but you’ll be home in a few days, and we can celebrate a late Father’s Day,” you try to reason with him.
Misha sighed on the other line, “Don’t get me wrong, I love the fans, but I would much rather spend my Father’s Day with my family.”
You smiled despite yourself, “I know, Mish. We wish you were here too. Liam has been dying to give you the present he made you.”
“Speaking of the rascal, is he awake?” Misha knew it was highly unlikely, considering the fact that the three year old always fell asleep around this time.
“No,” you looked at the sleeping toddler on your chest. “I’m sorry. You can call after your panel, he’ll be awake then.”
Jensen’s voice sounded from the other line, telling Misha that they had to get on stage, “I love you guys,” he said.
“We love you too.” You hung up the phone, looking around the hotel room.
Misha didn’t know, but you were sat in his hotel room in Phoenix, Arizona, your son napping against your chest.
You knew that Misha wouldn’t be back for another two hours according to Jensen and Jared, so you laid your head back, letting the exhaustion of traveling drag you into sleep.
You were woken up an hour and a half later by a rambunctious three year old jumping around.
“Be careful, baby,” you say as he sends a well aimed kick to your stomach.
“When is daddy going to be here?” Liam asked.
“Soon, I promise.” You sat up, stretching your hands above your head feeling your back crack in multiple places.
“We need to get that new shirt on, okay?” Liam squealed, happy that his many hours of secret keeping have come to an end.
“Okay, mommy. I’ll get it!” He scrambled off the bed, trying to get to his little backpack as quickly as possible. Liam dug around for a moment before victoriously pulling the small blue shirt out.He ran back to you, standing between your legs, “Help me put it on, Mommy!” he yelled at you, trying to wrench his shirt over his head.
You giggled as you helped your rowdy toddler out of his shirt and into the new one, “My, you look mighty handsome,” you said, poking his nose.
He laughed, pulling your finger away form his face. Suddenly, he gasped, “Where’s my picture?”
You stood up and walked over to his backpack, pulling out the white sheet of printer paper with three stick figures scribbled across it, “Don’t worry. I wouldn’t let you forget it.”
“Do you think Daddy will like it?”
“I think he’ll love it, baby.” Liam took it from your hands before climbing back onto the bed, anxiously anticipating the arrival of his father.
Your son didn’t have to wait long; as soon as you sat next to him, you heard noises on the other side of the door. Voices to be exact, before you heard the sound of a key card being inserted in the lock and the door swung open.
Misha’s attention was on his phone, so when his three year old son called out to him, he nearly jumped out of his skin. “Liam! What are you doing here?” Misha wrapped his arms around his son, lifting him up to settle on his hip.
“We wanted to surprise you,” you said, getting up and walking over to your husband.
Misha’s free arm wrapped around your waist, “Well consider me surprised.”
You laughed and wrapped your arms around his neck. It had only been a few days away from him, but it felt like an eternity to you. “I missed you,” you whispered in his neck.
Misha leaned back, kissing you firmly, "Ew! Daddy!" Liam protested to your right. You and Misha pulled back with a laugh. "Look at what I did, Daddy!" Liam squealed, shoving the piece of paper in Misha's face.
Misha leaned back all the way to avoid getting paper cuts on his face, and took the piece of paper from the young boy. "You did this?" Misha asked.
Liam nodded enthusiastically, nearly bursting with pride.
"This should be in a museum, buddy," an excessive amount of real enthusiasm in Misha's voice.
Misha took a minute, looking over the picture, "That's you," Liam said, pointing to the stick figure on the far left, "And that's mommy," he pointed to the figure on the far right, "And that's me," he pointed to the significantly smaller figure in the middle.
"It's amazing, buddy," Misha said, kissing Liam's temple, "Thank you."
Liam wrapped his arms around Misha's neck, "Happy Father's Day, Daddy."
Misha chuckled, "Thank you, Liam." Misha sat down on the bed with Liam still pressed against his chest.
You felt your nerves increase exponentially.
Misha was so close to reading it. So fucking close.
Liam sat up, still in Misha's lap and started to animatedly tell his father about his days at school.
Misha kept eye contact with his son, helping him with the harder words and encouraging him to get through the entire story.
All he has to do is look down. Literally all he has to do. You tried not to let your nerves show as you waited impatiently for Misha to read the shirt.
Finally, Liam finished his story, and Misha's eyes took in his appearance. Your stomach twisted into knots. You were so nervous. Misha read it once, then twice, then thrice.
He slowly turned his head towards you. Tears started to well up in your eyes. "You’re?" Was all Misha could get out before tears were pouring down your face and you were nodding vigorously.
You thought your husband's face would split in two with how wide his grin was.
He set Liam next to him and tackled you to the bed, burying his face in your neck. You could feel his tears on your neck, "I love you so much," he said.
"I love you more.”
"I’m going to be a big brother!” Liam exclaimed, causing the two of you to laugh.
“Yes you are, buddy,” Misha said, laying a kiss on the top of his head.
“Thank you for doing this for me,” Misha said that night. Your head was laid on his chest, his left arm around your waist, his right arm around Liam.
“It was just  a much for me as it was for you,” you said, kissing his neck.
“No, I mean giving me a family.”
You sat up on your elbow, “There is no reason to thank me, love. You deserve so much more than I can give you.”
Misha scoffed lightly, “I love you.”
You kissed his lips, “I love you more.”
happy father’s day!
“Have you seen Misha?!” you demanded, out of breath from running around the entire damn hotel trying to find the one man you were responsible for.
SPN AU Bingo
You were adopted by Misha and Vicki when you were a baby.
During the summer, instead of playing outside like a normal kid, you’d spend time with Misha while he worked at his flower shop.  He taught you everything there was to know about flowers.  If you weren’t glued to his side while he was working, you were wandering around the shop.
“When you grow up, my little cherry blossom, you can be anything you want.”  He would always tell you that before he kissed the crown of your head and you would always smile up at him.
Over the years, Misha’s flower shop expanded.  They bought the building next door and turned it into a small cafe and bookshop.  That was the reason you wanted to major in business when you went to college.
There was one secret you kept from your parents though.  It all started with a graduation party your best friend was throwing.
Drinks were flowing, and music was blaring.  You on the other hand, were watching him from across the room.  He was in one of your core classes.  You always thought he was handsome but you could never work up the courage to talk to him.  With encouragement from one of your friends, you finally talked to him and that night, you went home with him.  The next morning, you woke up alone, so you slipped on what clothes you could find and got the hell out of there.  Little did you know that nine months later, you’d give birth to your one and only son.  “Welcome to the world, Wren Collins.”
It had been a long night and all you wanted to do was get some sleep.  You picked up your cell and your finger hovered over Misha’s name.  What if your parents were disappointed in you for not telling them about Wren?  You didn’t regret that night all.  “Just call him, Y/N.”  You pressed the phone icon beside his name and put the phone up to your ear as it rang and rang.  You sighed as it went to voicemail.  "Hey dad. I know I've been too busy to visit these last few months and I'm sorry, but I'll be home in a few days. There's something we need to talk about."  You hung up and went to check on Wren who was wiggling around in his crib.
--
“Mom! Dad! I’m home!”  You called out as you unlocked the front door and smiled down at the little bundle in your arms. “I wonder where everyone is.”  You turned on the television and made sure to turn the volume down so that it didn’t wake up Wren from his nap.
You must’ve fallen asleep yourself because you woke up to tiny feet kicking you in the thigh and Wren crying.  “Well hello there mister, I see we’re awake now.”  You cracked a smile before getting a good whiff of him.  “Someone needs a butt change, doesn’t he?  His sniffles were all you needed as an answer before pulling your diaper bag closer and taking a seat in front of the couch.
You were in the middle of changing Wren’s diaper when you heard the front slam open and two small bodies practically tackled you onto the floor.  “Whoa guys, I’m excited to see you too but you need to be careful.  Now where’s mom?”
Maison and West both pointed behind you as Vicki closed the front door.  “West, Maison, what do you want for -”  You were button up his onesie when Maison took a seat next to you on the floor.
“Is dat your baby, sissy?”  You nodded as Maison leaned forward and kissed Wren on the forehead.  “Hi baby, I’m Maison.  I’m your aunt.”
“Does that make me an uncle?  I’m too young to take care of a baby.  I can barely take care of myself.”  You chuckled as Wren started to fuss.
“Mom, why aren’t you saying anything?”
“I’m just surprised, baby.”  You stood up with Wren in your arms and your way over to where she was standing.  He reached his hand out and wrapped it around Vicki’s pointer finger.  “We’ll talk about this later once your father gets home.”
“Okay.  Hey mom, you wanna hold him?”   She cooed at him as soon as you placed Wren in her arms.  It was like the three of you didn’t exist.  “What’s his name?”
“Wren.”
“He’s adorable.”
--
Misha was ecstatic that you were coming home to visit.  He practically threw his phone after listening to your message.  In the passenger seat of his car, was a bouquet of flowers he put together for you.  He was tapping his fingers on the steering wheel as he waited for the light to change.
It’s the honking that takes him out of his thoughts.  He presses the gas pedal and the car jolts forward, moving along with traffic.  He drives by your favorite restaurant, the one he's always taken you to to celebrate small things like report cards, dance recitals, broken hearts or whenever you visit from college and he chuckles to himself, knowing exactly what you'd order because it's always the same.
He pulls into the right turning lane, when the car next to him honks its horn at him.  Misha smiles and rolls his window down.
“Hey, Mr. Collins, you look excited.  Is something happening at home?”
“Mr. Collins is my father Jordan, you know that.”  He teased.  “Y/N’s in town visiting.”
“Is her number still the same?”  Jordan lightly blushed as they glanced up at the light.  It was still red luckily.
“I’ll tell her to give you a call, okay?”  Misha winked before he waved goodbye.  The light turned green and he made his way home.  He pulled into the driveway and smiled when he saw your car was parked there.
“DADDY’S HOME!!!”  Maison and West practically darted out of the room when they heard the front door opening.  You heard his chuckling from the next room and smiled before you wiped your palms on your jeans.  You were nervous about what was going to happen.
"Daddy! Daddy, I'm an auntie now~” You were happy that Maison was excited.  It was West’s comment that made you laugh out loud.
“Wait, if mommy's a grandma, does that make you a grandpa?"  All Misha did was smile and nod at West’s comment but he was confused.  He wasn’t old enough to be a grandfather.  The moment he stepped into the living room and saw Vicki holding a baby, he froze.  Misha stood there with a blank expression on his face and you knew something was wrong.  His voice was quiet when he motioned to the flowers he was holding in his hands.
“I brought the wrong bouquet.”
“Dad?”
"Have you been here long? Have you eaten yet? Wait, are you breastfeeding? Because if you're breastfeeding you need to eat more, do you want me to cook something? You know what, I'll cook you something-"
“Dad, will you calm the f-”  You didn't dare finish your sentence.  Not with your two impressionable younger siblings around.  "Please calm down.  I’ll explain everything once Maison and West go to bed.  Also,  I promise you’ll get some bonding time with Wren okay?  Until then, mom is - going to keep sniffing the top of his head?"  Misha gave you a side hug and chuckled as he disappeared into the kitchen.
"Don't you judge me. Those two always smell like dirt, these days. I've missed this." "HEY! I HAD A BATH YESTERDAY.”
--
You were trying not to laugh at your parents.  They were currently arguing over who got to hold Wren after you finished feeding him.
“Dad, will you give me a damn minute before you rip this kid off of my nipple.”  Vicki chuckled behind you as she tossed Misha a burp cloth from your diaper bag.  He draped it over his shoulder and was waiting patiently.
“Vicki has been hogging him.  How’s he supposed to know who his grandpa is?”  You shook your head with a smile forming on your face.  As soon as Wren was finished eating, you handed him off to Misha.  “Y/N/N… why didn’t you tell us about him sooner?”
“I-”  You looked away from your parents and wrapped your arms around yourself.  “I was scared that you’d be disappointed in me.”
“We could never be disappointed in you.”
“Wren’s father, did he force himself on you?”
“No.  Everything was 100% consensual.”  You were picking at the skin around your finger when Vicki wrapped an arm around your shoulder.  “I had such a crush on him all semester and George invited him to her graduation party so I figured that was my one chance, you know?”
“Ichigo ichie.”  Misha muttered to himself with a smile as Wren burped.
“Exactly.”
“See, watching all of those Japanese dramas with your old man paid off.”  He bumped your shoulder and you smiled.  “There’s nothing you could do that would make us love you any less - but if you ever murder someone, that’s the final straw.”
“Oh please, you’d help her hide the body and then start a mushroom patch over it.”
“Vic, why would you tell her that! I just had the backyard resodded.  Now what will she do with the body?  You know those two can’t keep a secret.”
“There’s mushrooms growing by the trees, daddy.”  Maison was holding a blue narwhal with a moustache and monocle in her hands as she stood in the doorway.  “Is there really a body buried in the backyard?”
“Of course there is.”  You rolled your eyes as Maison crawled onto Vicki’s lap.
“Can we dig it up?”
“No way.”
You leaned forward so that you were level with Maison’s ear and whisper that the two of you could check it out when your parents were gone.  She smiles with a quiet giggle.  “West is gonna be so jealous.”
Babysitter's Club - Ch 17
A/N: Hello!
Tumblr media
I know I disappeared on you for a while. I'm sorry. My family suffered some loss, and then my husband and I needed to work on us (because we were dangerously close to not being an "us" anymore), and then...I made a thing...
Tumblr media
So I have only *just* gotten back into the swing of writing again. It is slow, and painful, most days, but I am committed to finishing this story for you guys. Hopefully you are willing to come along for the ride.
Pairing: Misha x Reader
Catch up here!
You woke slowly, stretching languidly in your bed. Your body felt super relaxed and it took a moment for your sleep muddled mind to remember exactly why. Last night Misha had driven your body over the edge to crash into waves of pleasure you hadn’t experienced yet in your life. The man was skilled with his fingers, and he had used them on your body many times through out the night before you had slunk off to collapse on your bed in an exhausted (but, oh, so happy) heap. Misha had asked you to stay with him, and sleep in his bed, but you had been way too paranoid about the kids finding you that you had gently declined. You wanted to talk to the kids before they saw anything happen.
With one final stretch you picked up your phone and checked the time before climbing out of bed. It was early. Really early. You knew the others were going to wake up soon, but you wanted to get up and get coffee made. Silently you slipped from your room, eyes landing on Misha’s closed door. You fought the urge to slip into his room for a snuggle.
You slipped into the kitchen and filled the coffee pot with water and grounds. As it brewed you stood, recalling the things that had happened last night. Things had changed so much, so quickly, and while you were still basking in the afterglow of it all you really needed to talk to Misha about what all this meant.
You felt some hands slide over your hips to wrap gently around you in a hug from behind. You jumped lightly as Misha rested his chin on your shoulder before smiling and relaxing into his arms. Your hands came to rest on his circled about your waist. “Good morning.” He rumbled from behind you.
“Good morning. How did you sleep?” you queried.
“I slept ok. Would have been better if you had been there with me.” He offered with a gentle kiss to the crook of your neck.
“I know, I just…” you let out a breath. “I want to tell the kids before they just see something going on.” Misha paused for a moment. He hadn’t considered the effect this would have on the kids if it wasn’t handled right. He knew his kids though. They loved you, just like you loved them, and Misha really had a strong feeling they would be happy to know you were going to be a more permanent fixture in their household.
“I understand.” He agreed. “Would you want to tell them this morning? Before we go to the airport?”
“I don’t think we have enough time. I don’t want to rush through this. I want to do it right. Their world has been changing so much the past year, and I don’t want them to feel like it’s turning topsy turvy again. You know?”
“Absolutely.” He agreed. “We can do it when we get back to California. We’re supposed to get settled in again before that award show in a few weeks. We can approach it with them then. Give them some time to absorb it before going to their mother’s and us going public.” The thought of you two going public made you stiffen against him. It wasn’t that you wanted to hide your relationship, but the thought that so many people would be watching you made you nervous. If that wasn’t handled right either things would get messy and uncomfortable. “Hey…” he coaxed gently, trying to keep you from getting too upset. “Hey, Y/N, it’s going to be ok.” He breathed into your ear. “The kids are going to be excited about it, our friends are excited about it, our family will be excited about it. Anyone else is extra.” Your heart thumped and you smiled.
“You’re right.” you settled back into his arms. “I’m just a worrier.”
“I know. I’d like to do something to take your mind off of it though.” You turned your head to look at him with a question in your eyes. His lips gently came down on yours and you quietly sighed into the kiss.
“Oh, but the kids…” you trailed off, pulling back gently.
“The kids are still sound asleep, and wont wake up for a little while.” his hands flattened on your stomach, gently pushing the bottom of your top up so he could stroke your skin. He kissed the spot where your neck met your shoulder and you swallowed a groan. “Let me take your mind off of it...please?” Heat bloomed in the pit of your stomach and you nodded.
“Alright.” Misha’s eyes darkened as he watched you. One of his hands smoothed up your ribs, under your shirt, to cup your breast and play with your nipple that hardened against his palm. His other hand snaked down. His fingers slipped down until he felt you warm and wet. Your hands gripped his wrists, not pulling him away but holding on as he touched you and stoked your body to life. Your breathing was ragged as pleasure shot through you as his fingers started to lazily circle your clit.
“Put your hands on the counter, Y/N.” It took you a moment to decipher what he was telling you to do. You looked at him and he smirked at you before pulling your body back into his. Your rear end came in contact with his hardness and without thinking you wiggled slightly causing him to hiss. “Y/N,” he said again, his voice raw and husky from need, “put your hands on the counter and don’t move them.” You licked your lips and placed them flat on the counter between you and the coffee pot.
His fingers slid down to tease at your entrance before dragging back up to tease at your swollen bundle of nerves. It was so hard to keep the pants and sighs from slipping out of your mouth. “Misha.” you whispered, still very aware that West and Maison were asleep in a room just down the hall. “I want you.” You whined so only he would be able to hear you.
“I want you too, but I don’t think we’ll have enough time for that.” He supplied as his fingers doubled their efforts between your legs. “I don’t want to rush this, and when it finally happens, I want to have all the time in the world to enjoy it.” He gently rocked into you. “We have waited too long for this to be rushed.” You gasped and reached a hand behind you, intent on touching him. His hand between your legs froze and he chuckled. “Y/N...I said put your hands on the counter.” he nipped at your earlobe. “This is about you.”
“But I want to…”
“I know, and normally I would let you, but today, right now,” he guided your hand back to the counter top “I want to watch you come up apart in my arms so that I can try to keep my hands to myself when we’re in public and with the kids.” The hand between your legs started moving again and you almost sobbed in relief as pleasure coursed through you.
“I’m so close, Misha…” you panted as you rocked against his hand. You bit your lip as his free hand slid your shirt up and over your breast before gently tweaking the hardened peak there. One final circle from his fingers and you were stiffening in his arms, a silent cry stealing your breath.
“Fuck, so sexy…” you heard Misha curse in your ear, but you were too far gone as you rode the waves of pleasure coursing through your body.
“Dad?” West’s voice cut through the fog in your brain as you registered the sound of little feet starting to move down the hallway. Before you could think twice your shirt was pulled back into place, your shorts as well, and Misha turned to poke his head to look down the hallway.
“Good morning West, good morning Maison!” He said in a cheerful voice. You were still breathing heavily and your hands trembled as you reached for a coffee mug (although you weren’t sure if you were trembling from the amazing orgasm you’d just had, or the shock of West and Maison almost walking in on you.) You took a deep breath and poured two cups of coffee and turned to see West enter the kitchen.
“Morning Y/N!” West cried before launching himself at you in a hug.
“Good morning guys!” You smiled and stooped down to hug both of them. You felt Misha’s eyes watching you but couldn’t make yourself look up at him. The man was going to get you in trouble and you knew if you looked at him right now, you’d do something very inappropriate. “You just about ready to eat some breakfast and head to the airport?”
“Yep! Can we have pancakes?” West asked excitedly.
“You know what, pancakes sound amazing.” You answered. “Why don’t I get all the ingredients and we can make some pancakes while your dad goes and gets ready to go, then when we’re all done we can grab our stuff and head out?” You chanced a peek up at Misha and he was watching you with fire in his eyes.
“Sounds good to me. I’ll hop in a quick shower,” he licked his lips as he locked eyes with you, “then after we’re done eating, I’ll clean up dishes while you three get ready.” You nodded dumbly and watched as he left the room. You turned back to the kids standing in front of you.
“Alright helpers, let’s get everything ready!”
~~~
Misha took a steadying breath as he shut the bathroom door. He’d been ten second away from bending you over the counter and losing himself inside you, but he wasn’t lying when he said he didn’t want to rush this. Having West interrupt from down the hall (thank God he’d announced himself instead of just walking into the kitchen silently) had been a blessing and a curse. He’d been able to pull himself from the hazy fog of wanting you enough to fix your clothes and close his robe to hide his very evident arousal, but now he was left frustrated and in desperate need of release. He knew exactly what he was going to be doing in the shower. It wasn’t what he wanted, but he knew it would take the edge off while you all traveled.
~~~
“Y/N” Maison whined as you all say at the gate waiting for the plane. “Gotta go potty.” You checked the clock on your phone. You had just enough time to take her to the bathroom and get back before the priority family boarding started.
“Alright. If we hurry we can make it.” You smiled and scooped her up. “Misha I’ll be right back. I’m going to take her to the restroom and be right back.” He smiled at you.
“Perfect.” He checked his watch. “West, do you have to go?” He looked down at the almost six year old. West paused and thought for a moment.
“No, but I should prolly try, huh?” He looked up at you and then to his dad.
“Yeah buddy, let’s all go and then we can get on the plane.” Misha answered before scooping up his and West’s bag. The men’s restroom was on one side of the gate and the women’s was on the other. You all parted to go handle the chore. As you stood in the large stall waiting for Maison to finish going you phone chimed indicating you had a text message. You pulled it out and saw Misha’s name pop up on your screen.
Misha: Have I told you how amazing it is to watch you with the kids?
Y/N: I try. They are amazing kids and make my job easier.
Misha: Would you be willing to stay with me on a night when you’re not on the job? Your heart thumped rapidly. You desperately wanted to stay the night with him any night he wanted you to. Was it moving too fast? You knew if you stayed with him you two would end up sleeping together. Would that make you seem easy? You’d already told him you didn’t want to just be ‘the nanny.’ You wanted more. This was definitely ‘more.’
Y/N: Yes.
You helped Maison do up her pants and then walked her to the sink to wash her hands and lead her out of the bathroom. You saw Misha at the gate waiting for you and you couldn’t help the big smile that came to your lips. You had no idea what you did to deserve him. He was gorgeous, kind, caring, a great father, hilarious. He always worried about you and making sure you were comfortable and taken care of. He spoiled you. If he wasn’t careful he’d have you falling head over heels in love with him before either of you had a moment to realize it. You walked up to him, still beaming at just how happy you were.
Seeing the beautiful smile on your face had Misha’s heart tripping in his chest. Before he could think better of it he held up his phone and snapped a picture of the four of you together. He loaded it to all his social media captioned, “Traveling with these three makes life a lot happier.”
“You ladies ready?” He asked, tucking his phone in his pocket.
“Yep, daddy!” Maison called with a smile. “Y/N am I sitting next to you or next to Daddy?”
“Well, I think this time West starts out next to me. Maybe if you ask really nicely he’ll switch with you halfway through?”
“Awww, but Y/N…” West whined.
“You guys really need to stop being so obvious.” You teased, “Your dad is going to get all upset when he realizes you like me more than him.” Misha let out a snort.
“In your dreams.” He teased back. “I pay them to like you.”
“Do not!” West argued, “We like Y/N all on our own, because she’s nice, and fun, and pretty.” You could feel your cheeks flaming red. “And I’m gonna marry her one day.” He said, puffing out his chest a little in pride. Your eyes went wide and jumped to Misha quickly, who also looked a little perplexed. That was an unexpected declaration.
“Oh really, West. Is that so?” Misha said, laughter hidden in his voice.
“Mmhmm.”
“Ok, West. We’ll see.” He looked to you and gave you a wink. “Let’s go get on the plane now.” West led the way with you following close behind and Misha bringing up the last of your little group. Misha smiled as he watched you walk down the aisle way towards your seat. You looked so concerned about West’s declaration. While it wasn’t something he was expecting, he knew it was nothing serious. West wouldn’t be heartbroken when he found out about the two of you. He thought it was adorable that you were even worried about it. He watched as you settled both Maison and West in their seats before sitting down yourself. You’d taken the aisle seat so West could have the window. Misha followed suit.
He was having a hard time keeping his head out of the clouds. Sitting across the aisle from you felt vaguely couple-y. It wasn’t a far stretch to imagine the two of you traveling together without the kids there. He wondered if you’d still be worried about people taking your picture with him, or if you’d be able to relax and just be present with him. He wanted to hold your hand. He wanted to sit next to you and sling his arm around your shoulders and hold you. He knew he couldn’t right now, but he was excited for the future when he would get to.
But that was still a little ways off. So far, you’d agreed to stay with him on a night when you weren’t working with the kids. That night couldn’t come soon enough.
~~~
You turned the page in one of your very worn books that you had read at least a hundred times, and paused as your phone dinged. You picked it up and saw a message from Misha. Your eyes flicked over to him to see him sitting quietly scrolling through something on his phone. You opened your messages and heat flooded you.
Misha: I want you Y/N. I can’t stop thinking about the sounds you make when I’m touching you.
Y/N: I want you too. You felt naughty. Talking about this through text message with the kids in the seats next to you, granted they were sleeping, but still. I miss the feeling of your hands on my body.
Misha: I wasn’t done with you this morning. There were so many things I wanted to do to you before we got interrupted.
Y/N: Oh I know. There were quite a few things I wanted to do to you as well.
Misha: Oh really? Like what? Care to share?
You cast a sideways glace towards him and noticed he’d set his phone down on the tray table and picked up a magazine. Cocky. He either thought you wouldn’t respond or you’d offer very little information. You grinned to yourself and tapped out your reply achingly slowly. You wanted to make the man blush. You wanted to see him shift in his seat because his pants got a bit too tight. You wanted to work him up just like you were worked up. You sent the message and waited.
Misha heard his phone ding so he picked it up and unlocked it. He let out what sounded like a cross between a cough and a groan and shifted in his seat. His eyes darted to you and you smiled noticing that his cheeks seemed a touch redder then they’d been before. He turned back to his phone and started tapping out a response. It seemed like forever before your phone chimed again.
Misha: You have no idea how badly I want to steal you away to make those things happen. Wanna join the mile high club? ;-)
You giggled and looked at him before playfully shaking your head. “Who would watch the munchkins?” You teased. He let out a soft groan that almost sounded like a whimper.
“If we strap them down and give them lots of candy, they wont even notice we’re gone.” He protested. You let out a laugh and shook your head again. “You are a cruel woman.” He muttered behind a playful pout before winking at you.
“You like it.”
“Oh, I absolutely do.” He responded, sending a shiver down your spine at the huskiness in his voice. You suddenly wished your time off was a lot closer than it actually was.
~~~
Misha stood in his kitchen staring blankly through the window as his mind raced a mile a minute. He could hear you playing with the kids in one of the rooms and it made his heart swell. Everyone had been home for a few days and was settling back into the daily routine. Except for him. He had to admit, while the attraction and easy camaraderie had always been there, now that you had decided you wanted more (just like he did) keeping himself from giving you affection in front of the kids had been tough. It wasn’t like he wanted to rip your clothes off and do naughty things to do all day (which he did, but that was easier to control), but he often found himself wanting to hug you or kiss your cheek, or just general easy affection that felt natural throughout the day.
He turned on his heel and marched over to the playroom where he found you on the floor with the kids building something with a lego set of West’s. You looked up at him with a smile. “I want to tell them.” He said without hesitation or preamble. Your expression morphed into one of shock and you looked at the kids noting they looked confused.
“Right now?”
“Yes.” He almost whined. “They’re settled. We’re settled. We have time.” He watched you stand up. “I’d like to tell them right now.” You looked down at West and Maison quickly and saw them looking between the both of you, waiting for an answer.
“Tell us what?” West asked quickly. “Y/N isn’t leaving, right Dad?”
“No West. I’m not going anywhere.” You offered with a smile. “It’s nothing bad. I promise. Come on, let’s all go into the kitchen and get some lunch while we talk.” West didn’t look convinced but nodded and followed you out of the playroom. “You could have warned me, or maybe said it with a little less ‘doom and gloom’.” You teased as you walked towards the kitchen. Misha shrugged.
“Sorry. It’s been on my mind a lot and I just realized I was done waiting.” You nodded.
“I understand.” Once in the kitchen you turned and grabbed some ingredients to put together some grilled cheese sandwiches. Misha grabbed some fruit from the fridge, washed it, and set it on the table for the kids to munch on while you got the sandwiches ready. It didn’t take long. You dished up everyone’s plate and then sat down at the table. You looked to Misha, not really sure how to start.
“West, Maison,” He hedged, “you two like Y/N, right?” Both kids nodded their heads quickly. “Well I do too.” He stumbled, “I more than like her.” He clarified. This wasn’t as easy as he had thought it would be. “I like her the way I liked your mom for a very, very long time.” Realization started to brew in West’s eyes.
“I like your dad too.” You offered. “Nothing is going to change. I’m still going to be here to be with you. I’m still going to go with you to watch your dad film. I will still be helping out at your mom’s. We wanted to tell you in case you saw us hug, or hold hands, or something like that. We didn’t want you to be confused.”
“Does that mean you’ll be having sleep overs here? Like when we’re in Canada?” West asked.
“Maybe in the future, but not right now.” You answered honestly. You might have a ‘sleep over with Misha in the near future, but the kids weren’t going to be here and it might take you a little while to be comfortable with that.
“Are you going to be our new mommy?” Your eyes widened.
“West, that is really jumping into the future buddy.” Misha answered. It wasn’t that he hadn’t thought about it, but this was still so new and neither one of you wanted to make promises or claims that weren’t guaranteed. No one wanted the kids to get hurt.
“And if that were to happen West, I wouldn’t be your new mommy. Your mom will always, always, always be your mommy. I would be a bonus mom.” You needed him to know you weren’t replacing anyone, even though marriage wasn’t an option even remotely close to being on the table at the moment. “But that is something that wouldn’t happen for a long time and not until we all talked about it first. I promise.” He looked at you and nodded before taking a bite of his sandwich. “Are you guys ok? Do you have any questions?” Maison shook her head as she ate. You didn’t think she really completely understood exactly what was going on, but felt better knowing you were at least including her. “How about you West. Are you ok?”
“Yeah.” he said, “Just sad…” he trailed off.
“Why is that buddy?” Misha asked, suddenly nervous.
“That means I wont be able to marry Y/N when I get grown up.” It took a heartbeat before what he said sunk in and you couldn’t help the big smile and laugh that bubbled up inside you. You leaned over and hugged him.
“Don’t worry West. You’ll always be my number one guy.” He smiled into you and hugged you back.
“Good.”
October Drabble 2
Drabble 2/365:
You were slamming the door when you got home from work.
“Damn this. I hate my life,” you said furiously to yourself. “Damn work and damn my boss. Who does he think he is? Just firing me?”
You put your bag on the table with more force than necessary so that a glass fell over and broke on the floor.
“Shit,” you cursed and bend over to pick up the shards. “Well, at least shards bring good fortune.”
As you discarded the last shards into the bin, your phone began to ring. One look at the caller ID had you smiling despite the bad day you had.
“Misha, hey.” you breathed into the receiver as you picked up.
The End.
The One With A Surprise Puppy
Pairings: Misha x Reader
Word Count: 363
Warnings: None. It’s so fluffy.
A/N: This is my entry for @supernatural-jackles Birthday Challenge! I’m sorry that it’s so short... Unbeta’d too, I was hit with the inspiration stick and wrote this up in under an hour. This was the gif that she gave me:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Misha!” You yelled for your husband as you walked through the door of your Vancouver apartment.
You threw the plastic grocery bags that littered your arms on the floor in the kitchen. You had texted Misha, asking him to help you with the groceries, yet he never arrived, leaving you to lug an entire trunks worth of plastic bags into your seventh level apartment.
Your husband didn’t answer, only making your blood boil even more. “Misha!” You yelled again.
You huffed a sigh and left the kitchen, making your way through the small apartment to the bedroom you and Misha shared.
You burst through the door, ready to go off on Misha for completely abandoning you, but stopped in your tracks as you saw the tiny puppy in the middle of the floor.
You gasped, taking a step closer to the dog. “Hi, baby,” you cooed in a high pitch voice as you took another step closer.
You knelt down on the floor right in front of the dog, “Where did you come from, little guy?”
You flipped over the small tag on his collar, ‘Moscow’ it read.
You gently placed your hands around his rib cage, lifting the puppy to your chest and standing up once he was settled. “Now where’s Misha?”
Someone clearing their throat behind you made you jump and turn around in surprise.
Misha stood in the doorway, “Did you do this?” You ask Misha, pointing to the puppy laid against your chest.
Misha shrugged, a small smirk gracing his features. “I know you’ve wanted a dog for a while, and Jensen had a friend that found him as a stray and couldn’t take care of him anymore, so I thought it would be a good idea to take him in,” Misha rambled on, rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment.
You rushed over to Misha, planting a kiss to his lips, “He’s adorable. Thank you so much.”
Misha breathed a sigh of relief, “I’m glad you’re happy,” he said.
You kissed him again, “Now you get to put all of the groceries away,” you said, skipping out of the bedroom.
Babysitter’s Club - ch 13
A/N: Sorry I missed ‘Misha Saturday’! I had to run our Saturday school yesterday on campus, and the rest of the day just kind of got away from me. I appreciate the understanding, and hope you enjoy this next chapter!
Trigger warnings: none? I mean...there is mentions of alcohol so if that squicks you out...I’m sorry.
Pairing: Misha x Reader
Catch up here!
You smoothed down the front of your dress. It wasn’t very fancy (you hadn’t planned on having to dress up for this trip) but you’d brought it knowing Vicki was going to insist you took some time off. It was a simple dress that followed your curves and landed very respectfully in the middle of your thighs. It was dressier than normal, but nothing too scandalously revealing. The top was why you loved it when you’d bought it. It was an illusion neckline dress and the sheer fabric at the top really sat well against your skin tone.
You heard the knock at the door and took one more look in the mirror with a sigh. You didn’t look like you were going to an interview, but you also didn’t look like you were going to be lounging on the couch...so this was best option you had for a night out with friends. You walked over and opened the door to your room, smiling as you saw Misha waiting. “Just you?” You asked, extremely proud that your voice didn’t waver at your suddenly present nerves.
“Yeah. Jared, Jensen, and a couple other people are going to meet us down stairs.” He responded. You nodded. “You ready to go?”
“Just one second. I need to put on my shoes.” You wrinkled your nose and then held the door wide for him to enter. “Come in for a second while I grab them?” He nodded and walked past you, shoving his hands into his pockets. He stood awkwardly by the wall as he watched you sit on the bed to slip on your shoes. You felt your heart thump, suddenly very self conscious about the way you were dressed, and the fact that you were sitting on your bed only feet away from him.
Misha watched you. He felt his pulse rise as his breathing came a little quicker. You were absolutely stunning dressed up like you were. He liked when you were casual and relaxed with the kids. He liked when you were professional, ready to impress. And he really liked when you were dressed up, ready for a night out with adults. He’d never really seen this side of you, but now that he had, he knew he was done for. He was going to have a tough time keeping his hands to himself, and he knew he wouldn’t be the only one looking at you tonight. The thought made him oddly jealous, but he tamped it down quickly.
You secured your heels to your feet and looked up at Misha. He was watching you and you flashed him a bright smile. He looked amazing in his nice, pressed button up shirt. The long sleeves were rolled up to his elbows giving him a more casual look, but he made you fidget with nerves all the same. “All ready.” You said softly as you stood. You walked towards him and he swung his hand out, motioning for you to lead the way. You ducked your head a little, tucking your hair behind your ear nervously. You moved down the hall and into the elevator quickly, all the while feeling like someone was watching you.
As the metal doors of the elevator closed, you caught a glimpse of Misha watching you in the reflection. Your eyes darted up to his and you could feel your cheeks heating up. “What?” You mumbled.
“Nothing.” He said quickly before dropping his gaze down to the ground.
“No…” you pressed, expecting him to start in on his teasing about how you looked different when you dressed like an adult. “You want to say something...I can feel it.” You smiled at him. “What?”
“I just,” he started before he dragged his eyes up to yours and smiled a small, almost nervous smile, “you look really nice, Y/N.” You rolled your eyes.
“You mean now that I’m dressed like a big kid?” He let out a laugh before shaking his head.
“You’re ridiculous.” You smiled at him. “But I mean it,” he paused and met eyes with you again, “you look really nice.” It wasn’t exactly what he wanted to say, but he knew he couldn’t start spouting off about he thought you were the most beautiful person he’d seen in the longest while. Your cheeks flamed hot under his gaze and you offered him another shy smile.
“Th-thank you, Misha.” You smoothed the front of your dress once more out of nerves, and Misha had to physically grip the railing next to him to keep from reaching out and grabbing your hand. Luckily, he was saved as the elevator dinged and the doors slid open, revealing Jensen, Jared, and a few more of their Supernatural group waiting. Jensen turned first and cast you a blinding smile.
“Damn, Y/N.” He called as you walked towards him. “You clean up really nice.” You would have smiled at him, if you hadn’t been completely shocked at the feeling of Misha’s fingertips on the small of your back as he led you towards the group. You managed a small awkward grin, of which you were proud, because anytime Misha touched you was enough to make your brain short circuit. You startled a little as Jared turned as well and let out a low whistle once you joined their group.
Jared gently took your hand and held it up, “You look beautiful, Y/N.” You heard a few agreeing comments from some of the other members of the party, and couldn’t help the feelings that flowed through you. Part of you was mortified. You hated being ogled, and you were extremely self-conscious, but these were your friends and you knew they were giving you genuine praise and compliments. That fact alone allowed you to bask in the warm glow of appreciation that took over you as you felt Jared sweep you up in a hug.
Jensen followed suit and gave you a hug, before playfully wrapping an arm around your waist. “I have decided something, Y/N.” He said overly loudly. “Since we are the best looking people in this group, we go together.” He gave you a playful grin as you rolled your eyes.
“Wouldn’t Dani be jealous?”
“Are you kidding,” Jared cut in, “seeing you, Dani would completely understand. Want to Facetime her to make sure?” You closed your eyes in mild embarrassment.
“Do you really think the world is ready for all this amazingness? I mean, Jensen, think of all the pictures.” You feigned concern. “The world might explode.” He let out a hearty laugh and gave you a gentle squeeze before leading you towards the front of the hotel.
Misha watched as the boys fawned over you. He wanted to beam with pride, like you were his girl to show off and be excited to be seen with, but checked himself before anyone noticed. When Jensen slung his arm around you and started joking with you, Misha had to swallow the feelings of frustration the welled up inside him. He wanted to be the one to wrap an arm around you. He wanted to be the one that was able to be so familiar and playful and comfortable with you. He wanted to be the one that was with you when the paparazzi snapped pictures and asked questions. Oh, he was in so much trouble. “This might be a bad idea…” he mumbled under his breath.
“You say something, Mish?” Jared asked as everyone made their way outside.
“Nah. Nothing important.” Jared nodded before narrowing his eyes.
“You ok? You look off.” Misha nodded.
“Yeah. Think I might just be tired. It’s been hectic the past few weeks.” He grinned. “Nothing a night out with friends won’t fix.” He offered.
“Yeah. And it’s awesome that Y/N will be here with us.” Misha felt himself nod as he watched you laugh and talk with Jensen and some of the other cast. “We haven’t been able to have a night out, just us adults, in a long time. I think it’ll be good for all of us.” Misha cast a confused look up the Jared. “I just mean, Y/N has been working a good few weeks straight. First in Vancouver, and now down here with Vicki. This is her first night off in a long time. I hope she’s able to unwind and have a little fun.” Misha’s eyes drifted over to you again.
“Yeah...sometimes I feel like we don’t pay her enough for all she does for us.” That feeling settled on his shoulders. That heavy, uncomfortable feeling that stirred every time he remembered that you were only in his life because he paid you to be.  For the millionth time he wondered if you’d even give him the time of day if he wasn’t paying you. Jared watched as Misha’s face seemed to cloud over and instantly he knew what was going on inside his friend’s head.
“Hey, man, don’t do that. Y/N is your friend, and she’d be your friend even if you weren’t paying her to do a job. We’re all friends and we started out being paid to do a job.” Misha nodded. “Think about it man. I mean, she’s here with us, with you, on her only night off in the past how many weeks? She wouldn’t be doing that if she didn’t consider you a genuine friend.” Misha paused as you looked over your shoulder at him and flashed him a bright, dazzling smile. Jared was right, Misha acknowledged. It may have started out as a job, but you were his friend now. That was all that mattered.
You reached out to Misha, “Help, Misha!” You called playfully. “Jensen is trying to recruit me! Save me!” Jensen cast you an affronted look.
“Hands off, Jensen.” Misha teased, grabbing your hand and playfully pulling you to him. You let out a giggle. “Get your own.” He felt you slide your arm around his neck and casually rested his hand on your side, pulling you ever closer to him. You weren’t looking at him, and he took the moment to just revel in the sound of your laugh. Jensen tossed up his hands in surrender.
“My knight in shining armor. Saved me from the nanny-napper.” You giggled as you turned at looked at Misha. The look on his face made you pause. He was smiling so brightly, and looking at you, that your breath caught in your throat.
“Always.” He rumbled before winking at you. Your heart tumbled in your chest and you moved to let him go. You watched as the others piled into the vans, silently soaking in the feeling of Misha holding you (he hadn’t let you go yet) and trying desperately to control your emotions. Being around Misha without the kids was a completely different experience, and you weren’t sure your poor little heart was going to survive, but you were going to enjoy every single second of it.
~~~
Everyone was laughing around the table as Jared told a story about the getting up to some mischief. The food had been amazing, and everyone was sipping drinks, enjoying the low buzz the alcohol seemed to add to the atmosphere. It wasn’t late and no one had any plans to return to the hotel right away, so you felt content to just enjoy the evening. Your phone buzzed and you seemed to stiffen at the name on the caller ID. Vicki was calling. Your heart thumped but you quickly picked it up.
“Hello? Vicki? Is everything alright?” You couldn’t help the worry in your voice. You were supposed to be off the clock tonight, and Vicki made it a point not to call unless it was an absolute emergency when it was your time off. You felt Misha stiffen next to you, and vaguely recognized that Jared paused in his story to focus on you.
“Hello Y/N. Got a minute?” Vicki asked cheerfully on the other end.
“Y-yes. Of course. What’s up?”
“West and Maison are refusing to go down without saying good night to you.” You let out a sigh, relaxing into your seat next to Misha, who still looked pensive.
“Of course they can say good night.” You supplied, smiling as Misha relaxed at hearing it wasn’t an emergency. You started to get up. “Sorry, I’ll be right back.”
“Don’t worry about it.” Jared said, holding his hand up to stay you from getting up. “You don’t have to leave. It’s alright.” He grinned at you. You nodded before settling once more as West’s voice sounded on the other end.
“Y/N?”
“Yes, West. I’m here. You getting ready for bed, buddy?”
“My kids call her to say good night. I feel so replaced.” Misha teased from his spot next to you.
“Is that my dad?” West asked and you smiled.
“Yes it is, West. Want me to put you on speaker? You can say good night to Uncle Jensen, Uncle Jared, your dad, and me all at once.”
“Yes please!” You laughed and turned the phone on speaker before setting it down in the middle of the table.
“Hello Westy!” Misha said, followed by a chorus of hellos from everyone around the table. “Getting ready for bed little man?”
“Mhm. Just finished brushing my teeth. Maison too. Mom let us stay up a little extra late ‘cause we were watching a movie.”
“You two are so lucky.” You supplied to the phone.
“Yeah, but now we gotta go to bed.”
“Yeah. It’s getting really late, but we’re gonna do breakfast together tomorrow, right Mr. West?” You asked, not paying attention to how everyone had fallen silent to listen to the exchange between you and West.
“Of course, Y/N!” He let out a yawn into the phone. “I’m sleepy, and mom says I gotta go climb into bed. So g’night dad!”
“Good night bud.”
“G’night Uncle Jared and Uncle Jensen.”
“Sleep well sport.” They called.
“Good night Y/N. To the moon and back.” he mumbled, very clearly getting really tired.
“Good night, West. To the moon and back.” Everyone heard a small ‘to the moon and back’ chirped from the background. “To the moon and back to you too Miss Maison.” You smiled, staring at the phone, not feeling how all eyes on the table were watching you. The phone rustled as Vicki picked it up.
“Thank you, Y/N. They wouldn’t go down without it.” You grinned.
“No problem.”
“Now, enjoy your night and sleep in tomorrow. Text me when you wake up and we’ll all go do breakfast before we head back.” You nodded.
“Sounds good. I’ll text you tomorrow. Good night.” And with that the phone clicked off. You reached out and scooped up your phone before your eyes floated up to notice everyone watching you. Suddenly you were nervous and self-conscious. “What?” Your eyes danced from person to person before landing on Misha.
“You’re just really good with kids.” Jared supplied. You gave a nod and smiled. “It’s touching.”
“Thank you.” You smiled.
“She’s been a godsend.” Misha responded. “I couldn’t imagine life without her.” You beamed at him.
“To Y/N.” Jensen said and held up his drink. You blushed as everyone held up their glass, toasting you, and then took a sip of your own drink. You felt Misha take your hand gently and give it a squeeze.
“I mean it, Y/N. You really are an irreplaceable part of all of our lives.” You smiled and squeezed his hand back.
“I couldn’t imagine life without all of you either.”
~~~
Your head was fuzzy and you were overly warm as you sat in the van next to Misha. You’d had far too much, and now all you wanted to do was curl up and go to sleep. Misha had his arm slung along the bench seat back, and it nestled you firmly against his side. You knew, somewhere in your fuzzy brain, that you normally would have fluttery butterflies filling your tummy, but right now all you wanted to do was bury your face in his shoulder and enjoy the feeling.
Misha resisted the urge, for the thousandth time just this car right, to turn and press his nose into your hair. You smelled amazing, and felt amazing, and he knew the main reason you were allowing yourself to be so comfortable with him right now was the alcohol you had consumed. Somewhere throughout the night, both of you had had more than you planned, but you were responsible adults, and it wasn’t like you were on the clock or driving, so what would it hurt? He felt your head loll to the side and gently rest on his shoulder. He looked down to make sure you were still awake, and noticed your eyes were open as you watched the scenery pass by.
“You still with us, Y/N?” Jensen asked tiredly from the front seat.
“Barely.” You breathed. “So ready to go to sleep.” You mumbled.
“We’re almost back to the hotel. You can sleep when you get there.” Misha said somewhere close to your head. You groaned and then shifted to sit up as the van pulled into the hotel driveway. You climbed out, vaguely registering Misha’s hand on the small of your back as he led you inside to the elevator and then to your door. You pulled your key card out and slid it into the lock and opened your door before turning back to Misha. “You steady?” He asked as you leaned against the door frame.
“No, but I’ll kick off my heels when I get inside and be fine.”
“Drink water.” He instructed and you smiled.
“I will. I promise.” He smiled at you. “Will I get to see you tomorrow?”
“Maybe, I don’t have a panel until later in the morning. I’ll try to swing by breakfast so I can see the kids too.”
“I think that would be great.” You smiled up at him. “I’m going to head to bed Misha. I’ll see you tomorrow.” You stretched up to hug him and sighed when he wrapped his arms around you. “To the moon and back.” You breathed without thinking. He pulled back to look at you with a smirk on his face.
“Are you ever going to tell me what that means?” You just grinned at him and turned to walk into your room.
“Good night, Misha.”
“Good night, Y/N.” He watched as your door clicked shut and let out a breath. “Good night.” He turned to make his way to his own room. He had to find out what it meant, because he knew it meant something important.
