YN: outgoing and something about her makes u instantly notice her wherever she is, it being how loud she is or many of her interesting qualities. well known in school although it wouldn't be considered "popular" yet she isn't rlly aware from balancing everything in her life. while she's pretty good academically in the romance field let's just say she's not the brightest but there's an attempt at least .. has a pretty fun (read: chaotic) friend group but what's better than a dysfunctional (affectionately) group.

KAI: yn randomly befriended him during middle school after overhearing him talking about a junji ito manga. ever since that day they both have been inseparable. has a cookie run addiction and for video games in general. always enables yn in her dumb ideas which just makes everything messier.

YUNA: nobody really knows or understands how her thought process works since she's always saying the most random things. always has something to say and will straight up tell u which is good until it gets her in a lot of trouble for being honest.

SUNOO: met yn when he transferred to their school and she was assigned as his "tour guide" they instantly clicked and he joined her friend group and the rest is history. often mistaken as yn's boyfriend due to the amount of skin-ship they both show but it's just how comfortable they are with each other.

YUJIN: treasurer of the student council and yn's and wonyoung's best friend. ironically enough it still hasn't helped yn be aware of wonyoung. is always frustrated at how dense her friend can be and doesn't understand how the other can like someone so much. also works at the same place with yn and silently laughs at wonyoung doing a terrible job at being subtle whenever she goes to the café.

ISA: the vice president of the student council. honestly give this poor woman a break !! she's stressed and tired 24/7 but is determined to look out for the menaces of the school aka kai, yuna & yn since those three can't be left alone unless u want the school to end up crumbling.

AN: soz for making wonie's part so long but i needed to explain the dynamic 😕

WONYOUNG: popular would be an understatement to describe her. has had a painfully obvious crush on yn throughout all their school years that wasn't so hard to pick up by anyone with those not so discreet glances or so she like to call them , while her friends say the opposite and call her out on the very obvious staring. is part of student council and has the best grades in the whole school. receives daily confessions from guys and girls. very determined to make yn finally notice her since it's their last school year together even if it's doing by questionable things. she goes to yn's workplace everyday and asks for recommendations as small talk because she gets too nervous around yn. despite the place being far from where she lives walking an extra mile or two to see yn is worth it as she says.

JUNGWON: blunt. there's no better way to describe him. met wonyoung because everyone kept mixing up their names since they're pretty similar and is always picking up meaningless fights with her to decide who is better than who just because of that. doesn't hesitate to call anyone out if they're "being incredibly stupid" as he says because of his lack of filter . also part of the student council as the secretary.

SUNGHOON: main source behind wonyoung's headache. they met when they both became part of the morning announcements. pretty popular amongst the students because of his looks and he is definitely aware of it. has a big ego and rarely thinks before he speaks. his friends say he should be thankful he has a pretty face because that brain of his isn't taking him anywhere. loves figure skating !!

JAY: obviously the rich one. his friends call him a sugar daddy as a joke and now there's rumours going around he actually is one. good looks and really smart as well. if u rlly get to know him u will find out he is a sleep deprived mess just like the rest. actually loves anime and plays genshin which is something nobody would expect from him. definitely falls for deez nut jokes all the time too.

REI: transfer student from japan. wonyoung thought she was cute in a platonic way ofc since "nobody can take yn's place" but that image ended when she got comfortable with everyone and became another headache like jungwon and sunghoon. loves her friends and considers them like a second family yet she doesn't say it because feelings are embarrassing !! but she's always there if needed.

JAKE: number one ynwon enthusiast !! definitely never misses the chance to tease yn whenever wonyoung comes to their work place. he met yn because he works at the same dog café that she does. has worked there for longer than anyone simply because he is a dog lover and sometimes acts like one too ... always jokes around and is nice with everyone so he often gets his actions misinterpreted as flirting.

YEONJUN: the oldest of everyone from the shift. he is a full time college student majoring in music and composition with dancing as a side hobby but needed a job to pay for expenses. treats yn like the sister he never had and also joins on the teasing whenever wonyoung is around. along with jake he tries to get yn to understand that maybe the girl comes everyday because she LIKES her and not the stalking nonsense she mentioned.
