WIP - Historical City, Circa 1930s-40s

Day #3 of multiple intricate object finding, locating and deleting models and/or recoloring with period appropriate textures to convert San Myshuno into a semi-realistic big city. I'm really excited about it though, especially for the upcoming pack.

I am a perfectionist and of course I cannot play a decades save without full immersion therapy, so the pretty colors and billboards had to go (again, they're gorgeous but not realistic).

‼️ Read below for how I’ll be doing this AND an important note to those of you who submitted a sim:

Nico will be meeting ALL the sims, but will only be going on dates with six of them (sorry 😢 as much as I would want him to go on 12 dates, that’s a lottt). The selection of the six sims will be based on ranking how the first meeting with each sim goes!

He’ll go on an individual date w each of the six sims, developing (or devolving) the relationship.

Second dates with the 3-4 sims he earns the highest relationships with

‼️ Important note to everyone who submitted a sim pls read below!

Some sims probably look a bit different than they did when yall submitted them, but I promise I did not maliciously or intentionally change any features 🥲 (no skin colors were touched. If they appear different, it’s 100% my gshade). Genetics were touched for irises, for example, bc some were very small or huge due to my defaults. I also added skin overlays to some sims that didn't already have one + blush, lashes, and this shadow detail for ALL of the sims for the sake of consistency since I currently give these specific details to literally all my sims lol.

There were a couple sims that looked a little different and I assume it was because of some presets/sliders I didn’t have, so I did my best to make them look as close as I could to your preview pics. I downloaded just about all the cc that was included but I’m sure that I missed some stuff like sliders/presets, which make all the difference. Please please message me if you’re unsatisfied w anything. It’s also possible I accidentally switched traits (when I was in CAS making them pose for pics) so pls also lmk if you notice a mistake with traits. I’m a complete newbie when it comes to interactive things like this so please give me some grace for this first timeejdjsj 😭

Hi All, welcome to the 2025 edition of the annual be_compromised epic summer promptathon!

Been wanting to jump into the fandom but not sure where to start? Now’s the time. Newbie or a lurker? Here’s the perfect opportunity to say hello! Not been active in the fandom for a while? Welcome back. Promptathon is a fun, no-pressure environment where you can post zero to as many prompts as you like, zero to as many fills as you like, and join in the squee or just quietly enjoy the fun.

We’re a Clintasha (Clint Barton/Natasha Romanoff) community that welcomes ALL THINGS MARVEL. We’d like Clint and/or Natasha to show up in prompt fills somewhere, but what that means is up to you - individually or as friends, lovers, spouses, partners, gen fic, ANYTHING. Yes, that means we also welcome other characters and pairings (and threesomes or moresomes.)

Leaving Prompts

Please post each of your prompts in a separate comment to the Dreamwidth post.

You can leave as many prompts as you want. We’re serious. Keep coming back. We want as many prompts as we can possibly get.

Prompts can be anything – simple or elaborate, words or pictures, songs or poems, lyrics or phrases, anything that could inspire a fanwork. Use your imagination. Go wild! You can also re-use prompts from previous events, whether they were filled or not.

There’s no length requirement on fanworks submitted. You can create drabbles and three sentence fics to epics. Had a few newbies join lately (hello and welcome, enjoy your stay!) so thought I'd post a few reminders:

This is an art/ask blog for Sonic and Shadow, who have been together for about 5 years. They're in their mid twenties. They got married last June, but it was a rush event so they're looking forward to Wedding 2.0 on the 12th of July! And you're all invited... Although I haven't quite figured out how I'm gonna do it yet 😅 might make a poll, stay tuned...

My pinned post has useful info like what Sonic media I've consumed, a rough timeline of their relationship, and a frequent tags list. The tags list is a good one to check in case your question has been asked before, but also I don't mind answering again - just bear in mind I might recycle the old art for it!

I have about 50 asks in my inbox so I'm almost always a few days behind answering (eg it's the 7th of June right now and I'm drawing responses to asks from... The 2nd 😅😅😅), so please don't feel disheartened if I haven't answered your ask within a few days! If you want to keep track of when your ask gets answered, but still want to stay anonymous, I suggest giving yourself an anon name/emoji that you can search for on my blog (just make sure you search it first in case it's taken!)

That said, I also sometimes answer asks "right away" (or as right away as they can be considering it takes time to draw), particularly if they're relevant to a current plot or in response to a recently posted ask. When that happens I try to alternate between answering chronologically and answering relevant new asks!

My posts are usually queued to post at America-friendly times, but we also occasionally have events, like tag: glitter attack or tag: mersonic/tag: mershadow. When this happens, I frantically draw as many answers as I can while questions come in on the topic until I go to sleep, queueing some for overnight, and then wrap up any stragglers the next day 😅

I project autism and chronic pain onto Shadow (rip shads) and project my childless fat ass onto Sonic. Pls love them.

Hi. Can you please tell me, I'm a complete newbie and don't understand at all how to update my mods ( I have a cas room too) And how did you update to direct 11? Sorry for asking elementary questions and hoping for a reply or even a tutorial! I will be very grateful

hi there!! no worries! questions are all good :) dx11 is the default rendering api of the game now, so everyone on pc (except those who use intel graphics cards) will have their game automatically run it from now on, with a new in game setting to switch back to dx9.

so, the mods/cc affected are build stuff, buy stuff, and CAS rooms. CAS cc appears to be spared for now, (mostly) which is nice lmao

Most people's build/buy/CAS rooms are perfectly compatible with dx11, and function just as they did on dx9, the only difference is:

dx11 does NOT work for build/buy/CAS rooms mods that include image files (either .dds or .png) that have dimensions that aren't an exact x2 multiple of 128 (so 256, 512, 1024, 2048, etc) and will show that silly question mark with the funky colours.

so if any of your mods/build cc is affected (build cc thumbnails are also affected by this change) all you need to do is change your image files so that the dimensions are x2 multiples of 128, and not x3 multiples, or whatever else. You can do this manually, or use the experimental batch fix that sims 4 studio has, here is more info about that!

Hello, it's me again.

Can I ask you for another story?

And so the reader was Bluecop's mentor when our star guard was young and inexperienced. And between them there was not only a mentoring relationship, but also a father and son. But alas, like everyone else, the reader had to leave his home planet and wander the vast galaxy. But , the reader is lucky and finds the earth, what could go wrong?

During an unsuccessful landing, he gets an injury to his helmet, which is why the old mech's mind is in a disoriented state.

And okay, that's not even half the trouble, the reader begins to pursue those who break the law and see everyone as an enemy. Because of which the news comes out about an aggressive police car, because of which some people were hurt.

Our team goes there to pacify the cardbot.

There is a meeting between the mentor and the student. But the reader is not in a sane state, they seal him, and then undergo a short rehabilitation.

Note:

The reader is quite old, although this does not prevent him from fighting briskly with the youth.

「What Happened to You?」 | Metal Cardbot x Male!Star Guardian!Reader

Before being a known Star Guardian, Blue Cop was mentored by you. You taught the inexperienced candidates, making them grow in skill to be fully accepted into the official ranks. Every Star Guardian's journey started here, you though it would always be like this - they learned from you and later left to do bigger things.

It didn't mean that you were weak or something that you mentored the younger Cardbots. You were an experienced fighter, just with a soft heart. You couldn't muster the courage to make a drastic approach to newbies, yet still taught them the way of fighting and that made you the best candidate for the job. You would patiently explain their mistakes and correct them in a match. At first it was weird that a big Cardbot like you was so gentle, but soon everyone got used to it with time.

When the next wave of candidates arrived, only one managed to catch your optics. He was on the smaller side, didn't look like he could go far, yet something told you he was special. You never picked favourites, but Blue Cop made his way into your heart. You would spend more time with him, telling jokes or giving extra pointers. You were found of him and he returned it. Nearly everyone called you both father and son, your closeness really reminded them of that.

Sadly, all good things have to come to an end. He quickly rised in the ranks and was assigned a different boss, which ment you probably won't see each other often. It made you sad, but you held it in, prising him for his achievement and saying your last goodbyes. As he went you couldn't stop your heart from clenching in your chassis. It made you slowly bring your servo over to try and calm it down, but nothing worked. You were becoming more nervous, having a feeling that something bad is going to happen.

Your predictions were correct - Machina was annihilated and somehow you managed to escape. You were probably one of the last ones to leave so the blast from the explosion threw your ship around, making it head towards asteroids and remains of your home planet. This lead to extensive damages to it and the passenger inside - you. The collision was one of the worst, you practically flew around inside, your frame hit around the interior hard and the worst was your helm, knocking you unconscious after one final hit.

By some miracle your ship managed to auto pilot through the galaxy and travel to Earth. Your crash landing wasn't one of the nicest either, but it got you to wake up from the forced slumber with a few surprises. You dragged yourself from the burning up remains, watching the new surroundings with dazed optics. You shakily stood up and started to look for any kind of fuel. You walked and walked, sometimes even tripping on your own pedes as you neared an old station. It was evident noone was around and so you used this opportunity to fill up your empty tanks. You knew stealing was wrong, but it was a life and death situation, right?

You started to grow accustomed to this new reality, taking an appearance of a police jeep and wanted to wait for other Cardbots to show up. There was only one problem - your duty was important and you wouldn't tolerate any crimes commited in your presence. Though your methods turned more violent, beating up the criminal's cars into the ground or nearly smashing people into pavement. You couldn't understand why it felt correct, but you brought justice and only that mattered. They were bad and needed to be put into their place.

Soon criminal activities increased, luckily you only worked during night and noone really knew you were an alien. One curious soul saw a police jeep driving away from the now smashed car into the asphalt. It quickly became a topic for the news and got to the team rather fast. Jun had guessed it must have been another Cardbot and it would be better if they had more help in defeating Wild Guardy. Blue Cop couldn't stop but think that he saw this jeep before, but was rushed out to find the newcomer.

The previous Cardbots split up to try and widen the search area. It was fortunate you only showed yourself at night. The police car was quietly observing every detail to try and spot you, only to run into you. Slowly and kind of menacingly you transformed, some pieces creaking and screeching as you loomed over the smaller Cardbot. Your expression quickly changed to the one full of relief. You picked him up, spinning around and hugging him into your chassis in full blown happiness.

" Blue Cop! I am so lucky I found you! " You sniffled as your emotions took the best of you for this short moment. The police car's optics lit up, he recognized you! How could he not?

" [Y/N]! - " It was the only thing he could say before his other teammates arrived hearing the commotion. You immediately recognised them as danger and fought back, still trying to keep the only good Cardbot close to you.

It was a truly tiring process - how much stamina did you have?! With Jun's and others teamwork they managed to seal you and brought you to Mega Ambler, who was baffled at the state you were in. Blue Cop was pacing nervously outside the Auto Shop, his first ever mentor was hurt and he didn't notice untill later. His worry was so evident that everyone was intrigued who you were to him. He was caught off guard and during his explanation referred to you as his dad - don't blame him! He really saw you as a father figure and he worried over your poor state.

After some time you were working again and others were shocked, you now looked like you couldn't hurt anyone. You still beat up the younger Cardbots though, there was no excuses for them to slack and you would do your duty and keep them in shape. You were so happy when Blue Cop called you his father by accident, but it made you feel so warm inside and simply accepted him as your son, which got some teasing from others. Though only Black Hook and Heavy Iron got a side eye from you, you still couldn't get yourself to like or even tolerate them.

They liked you and hoped to learn some tricks too. Maybe even fix Mega Trucker's poor performance at the hologram projector training along the way ...

Marimekko Decor & Furniture CC Set

Hello everyone! My name is Ergo. It is so very nice to meet you!I've been a fan of the Sims franchise for over a decade, and I've recently started creating my own custom content for The Sims 4.

As a newbie to CC creation, I've spent the past week getting familiar with Blender and Sims 4 Studio. I'm thrilled to share my first set of custom content, inspired by my love for Marimekko's flower prints. I wanted to bring a bit of my real-life obsession into the Sims world!This set includes new meshes for mugs and plates, along with recolored paintings, rugs, and sofas. All items are Base Game Compatible, except for the sofa, which requires the Growing Together DLC.I couldn't settle on just one color scheme, so each item is available in several different colors!

I've tested everything in-game to ensure functionality.You can find these items in-game by simply searching for "Ergo" and the collection will appear.Since this is my first attempt at making CC, please don't hesitate to give me any feedback or reports of issues, and I'll do my best to address them promptly.

I plan to create more CC and eventually venture into making functional items one day!

Haii new mods welcome to the blog!

What if swap au but it's swap NPCs with phighters. That'd be a very big roster though.. Well, I'll figure it out.

The Hosts of the gameshow are still Valk and Dom, though Valk is a playable character and he does commentary straight from the battlefield.

This makes no sense lore-wise and isn't intended to make sense in lore i just wanna make movesets

Now, for the movesets

I think Rainbeau would get played through plunge attacks. Y'know the thing with Skateboard the faster you go the more damagd you'll do? Rainbeau will have that but with height, from the higher up you start plunging down, the more damage you'll do. Starting from a certain height the plunge will also do splash damage.

Traffic seems like a heavy hitter to me. He looks pretty slow from the fact he's high all the time, I believe fighting with the sign on his back would be most effective. Give him slow hard hitting attacks, a self-buff and self heal(he should ne able to systain himself since he's a hiker) and here we go!

Broker hits fast and hard, but is a very fragile character. He has a fair amount of shield and almost no health, fast and pretty strong attacks. The downsides are that he only has melee attacks(kinda like Jason in Forsaken) and no way to support himself so he requires a lot of backing(minimum 2 healers)

Umbrella is very fast and can do tons of damage to the enemy backlines, but is extremely fragile. Probably has the lowest health roster in the game, if not he's still up there. Intended to take down supports and one hit runners. Probably has an invisibility ability and some sort of trap

Graffiti I think I'll make a newbie friendly character, simple to use, mostly balanced in stats. Prolly has some sort of ability where he sprays paint in the enemy's eyes, blinding them for several seconds. I'll also give him a self speed boost where he unfolds the chair and takes a short nap.. honk shoo mimimimimi

Follow for part 2 where i do ranged movesets and maybe I'll try to fill in NPC roles with phighters
