About Gemini and why he was 'broken'

---- LIES OF P SPOILERS AHEAD ----
So, I was watching a friend play Lies of P for the first time, and right from the beginning, I was reminded of how P first encounters Gemini inside one of the wagons from Geppetto’s workshop.
And the first thing Gemini says is: “Gemini will restart soon.” Which he says in a robotic, broken voice.
To which Sophia replies: “I see they got Gemini too…”
And there are two things I took away from that exchange:
Gemini is broken, like literally broken, just as Sophia later mentions when we see her at Hotel Krat.
When Sophia says “they got him”, she doesn’t mean someone obtained him. She means someone hurt or mistreated him.
So, what I’m trying to say is that when Geppetto got his hands on Gemini, he didn’t treat him well. Sure, it’s possible someone else stole him and tried to dismantle or reset him, but c’mon, given the state of Krat, who would realistically want to mess with Gemini?
We know Gemini belonged to Lea. Even if Neowiz didn’t give him to her in the DLC directly, the sand memory from Arche Abbey beach confirms she had him at some point.
So whether Geppetto took Gemini from Lea or got him through other means, it seems clear he intended to wipe his memory. If Gemini had been present during Lea’s passing, Geppetto would absolutely want to erase those memories. And even if he wasn’t there for that moment, Gemini was still Lea’s guide and companion, and probably knew Carlo too.
But Geppetto didn’t want that Carlo back. He didn’t want stalker Carlo to be back, he wanted a good obedient son. And Gemini could've led him astray from that vision. So Geppetto had to make sure Gemini was restarted.
Of course, he didn’t destroy him completely, because Gemini is still incredibly valuable, especially as an asset to Carlo. But he had to be an asset that Geppetto could control. And Gemini wasn’t cooperating.
That said, I don’t think Gemini could be fully wiped. Surely, those who created him for the Monad family put a lot of love and care into him. And Gemini is special, just like P. He’s more than a power-ergo device. So even with all of Geppetto’s knowledge and effort, he couldn’t completely reset him.
He must have been very rough with him, almost to the point of permanently damaging him. That’s why Gemini sounds so broken when we first meet him. Maybe Geppetto even thought he was had indeed broken him and just discarded him. That’s why we find him lying there on the floor of the wagon, a project that couldn’t be completed, at least not at the moment.
And yet, Gemini survived. His memory was affected, yes, but not completely erased.
There’s still a lot he remembers. As soon as he starts functioning again, he mentions the BRB and how much he hates them.
So there’s still a lot of him in there. But the parts connected to Lea, Sophia, or the Monad family? Those seem to be gone.
He doesn’t seem to recognize Sophia as someone he used to serve. And when speaking about Lea in the DLC, he clearly knows of her, “the Legendary Stalker”, but never refers to her as an old friend. Maybe he still feels the connection, deep down, but the memories are missing.
So yeah. despite being tampered with and roughed up, Gemini survived. And now he’s on a journey alongside P, trying to figure out who he is now, while trying to remember bits of where he came from.
And that’s basically it, me just yapping again about this game because I love it so much and want to untangle every single detail there is to it.

Lies of P Merch I made waiting for the official shop to come out Vol.3
A fully functional Monad's Lamp of Lies and an Adelina Corday statue

For scale
Warning light may be a bit bright
Monad's Lamp was recreated by me in Zbrush/Maya because the actual in-game model only uses a flat texture for all the detail...hard to 3D print that. In retrospect I should've smoothed out the top and cage a bit more, they're too blocky for me but it still came out nice. I'll try it again with a resin printer at some point as well.
It is fully functional with a door that can open and close and a hook you can....hook it to stuff with. The bottom is also removable so I can put it on top of a dimmable IKEA lantern (not too long though) or put some colored LEDs in for effect.
Before Patina

After Patina

Adelina is just straight up the ingame model with gold spray paint. I did a few layers of rosegold inbetween and at the bottom so it's not as flat.

If Gemini remembers this specific day, I feel like he had to have been with Lea? As a lamp??? Because we know she's wearing a Monad's Lamp...but two things:
1. This would negate the Gemini saved Lea from Geppetto theory.
2. If he was active as her lamp, why didn't he ever say anything the whole time?

Okokokok just finished overture was not prepared even in the slightest for any of it so here’s my biggest takeaways- spoilers obv
Lea is such a great character, she has a lot of heart. It’s clear from the start how much guilt she holds for Carlos death, and how desperate she is to save Romeo. The flashbacks to her as we journey along add depth to her story.
I believe Lea and Sophia are sisters. That’s fairly obvious from the start but what really gets me is the parallel between the end of overture and the end where Sophia becomes a puppet. Lea cradles Romeo in the same way Sophia cradles P. It’s very sweet, even if I’m not sure on the timeline implications of managing to save Lea and Romeo. Perhaps in the new timeline they manage to rescue Sophia together with P, a callback of sorts to Carlos apprentice days. Wouldn’t that be nice.
Also enjoy the parallels between their petrification disease. Sophia is bound in place, unable to move, but she is prevented from dying. Lea is the opposite- she can move and fight but is actively dying. I wonder what’s worse, being unable to move but also unable to die, or being able to move but able to die.
Lea broke ties with the Monad family- why? Was it because of the Alchemist experiments her father ran? Was it because Sophia was a listener? It’s implied that their mother became a golden coin tree- was it that?
That last cutscene- is that Gepetto trying to turn Romeo into a puppet?? Idk what this means, is he gonna turn him into a puppet anyway or has his plan failed at the first hurdle. Is there truly a new timeline or was everything P did pre ordained.
Aliodoro is a sweetie pie, and he absolutely despised the alchemists. Honestly can relate would 100% drop kick Manus into the abyss.
Lumachio- oh Lumachio. You were always going to betray me because you were voiced by Neil Newbon. His is a voice that belongs in this type of game.
The lion guy who I forgot the name of is very funny. Can’t help but feel like we’ll see him again in a wizard of oz game, but I don’t know Pinocchio very well so idk.
Arlechinno you rat bastard. They got his design RIGHT that was far scarier than any of the other bosses. The uncanny valley feel I got was incredible, the studio really got that serial killer puppet vibe perfect.
The star of the show; GEMINI. I love my cricket lamp, I love him so much. He is an excellent example of how to add agency to a voiceless main character. He is also very funny, but is somber when it’s appropriate. Gemini lightens the room when it’s already got some light in it.
Gameplay wise, Lies of P remains one of the best soulslike in my eyes. The mechanics are easy to understand, hard to master, but you don’t necessarily need to master the mechanics to play through the game. One thing I absolutely adore is the difficulty settings. They haven’t hidden lore behind the harder settings, it’s purely optional.
Anywho, that’s my ramble about overture. Time to go cry about Sophia for an hour

a Dance in The Dark - P x Reader

It’s late when you reach the puppet’s quarters. Long shadows loom along the walls of the hotel and a draft rustles past you, pajama-clad and disheveled from a night of restlessness. You hadn’t bothered to switch your clothes, knowing your dear puppet wouldn’t pay it any mind. You had half expected to find P dormant at this hour, but instead he’s laid out on the floor with his legs kicked over the side of his bed. A book -which he seems thoroughly engrossed in- is held up above his head, its pages illuminated by the yellow-green light of Monad’s lamp, which casts a soft halo about the edges of his face. You rap your knuckles against the doorframe and his eyes jump to you, startled out of their careful concentration.
“Can’t sleep.” You sigh, gesturing down the hall with a tilt of your head. “Walk with me?”
With a twitch of a smile, Pinocchio tosses his book to the side and rolls haphazardly out of his place on the floor, clumsy with excitement.
Knowing the hotel well enough, the two of you make your rounds of its many chambers in the dark, ever so often bumping elbows to each other’s ribs. Your barefoot steps cast dull echoes through the halls as you dip in and out of doorways, poke behind desks and rummage carelessly through shelves. In the deep blue foreignness of nighttime, you feel exploratory; curious like children let loose in an enormous garden just brimming with unrealized discoveries.
Passing through the entrance hall, you seize the coveted opportunity to act a fool behind the front desk. “Hello, you’ve reached Hotel Krat.” You say, picking up the receiver of the hotel’s long-dead rotary phone. You’re sat on top of the desk now, your legs swinging over the side. Pinocchio glances up at you, his hands preoccupied diligently petting the hotel’s beloved orange tabby. You feign listening to the nonexistent voice on the other end of the phone. “Oh I’m sorry, Mr. Spring is busy at the moment. I’m afraid he’s in a very important meeting.”
After thoroughly nosing about, you find yourselves settling in the piano room, you and Pino curiously flipping through pages and pages of sheet music. P’s interest is especially piqued by one booklet and he takes a seat at the piano, attempting to make sense of its pages. An admirable attempt is made as he plinks slowly and diligently away at the piece, tugging at your sleeve when he gets stuck. You barely know more than he does, and as you sit together at the bench your fingers tangle and trip over each other. The resulting notes are dissonant and clangy and you both fall into ripples of laughter at your duet's messy melody.
The night wears on calmly, P fingering through a box of cobwebbed records, most of which are scratched beyond recognition. He retrieves one with some care and blows a layer of dust from the cover, his nose scrunching as it flutters across his face.
You’re lying on the floor, limbs outstretched like a lazy snow angel as P futzes with the gramophone. There’s a few moments of anticipatory static before the record crackles to life; a somber piano score reverberates through the dim and intimate space. You close your eyes as a woman’s wispy voice floats through the room, cool and calm. Something about the melody, the echo, the timbre of her voice makes your ribs fall heavy around your heart like a slowly but surely shrinking birdcage.
Close your eyes,
Come to me,
Feel alright,
Just dance with me all through the night
“I can’t stand it.” You start, “It’s beautiful… but it makes me so sad.”
You wonder if P is affected differently, maybe even more than you are by the emotional quality of the music. He certainly seems to have a fascination with it. “What about you?” You ask, your head turning to glance at the puppet.
P’s eyes flicker towards the ceiling and his mouth twitches to the side in thoughtful consideration. He lifts a finger at you -hold on- while he rises from his place at the piano stool and arranges himself with precision beside the grand. He stands up tall, shoulders back, one arm held out just-so at hip level, the other outstretched as if resting on the shoulder of a ghost. You beam at the fine mimic work in front of you.
“Really?” you ask, your brows knitting with intrigue. “Makes you want to dance, huh?”
He nods enthusiastically and motions for you to join him. Your mouth hangs open for a moment.
“Oh- no really I don’t know the first thing about it.” You stammer. Before your days at the hotel as Pinocchio’s companion, you had never known such affluent people and knew very little of high society or of their practices. Any formal knowledge of dance was utterly foreign to you.
P assumes a swordsman’s stance and shrugs at you, nonchalant, as if combat training and dance were the most naturally drawn parallels in the world.
“Sparring with you isn’t the same.” You say flatly, but P’s already made up his mind, and before you know it his hand is closing around yours and he’s tugging you up off the floor. You laugh nervously as you rise to your feet. “No, I’m serious! I don’t-” You begin to protest, but you catch a glimpse of his face, wide pleading eyes and creased brows. He smiles with all the calculated charm of a fox, handsome and cunning. You exhale deeply, steeling yourself before meeting his gaze.
“Oh fine.” You relent, much to his chagrin. “Just watch your feet, I mean it.”
P’s smile is annoyingly triumphant as he holds his hands palm-up out to you, seeking your guidance. Always so much concern for your comfort, you feel your cheeks warm just barely and hope the low light of the piano room masks it.
“Right. Um. Let’s see, you’ll put your hands…here.” You say, taking his hands in yours and leading them to the crook between your waist and hips. He steals curious glances at you as you do.
“And then I guess I’ll just…” You trail off, as your hands fold neatly together at the nape of his neck. You stand still for a moment, just looking at each other in the dark, the features of your faces obscured and foreign. This isn’t the way these things are normally done, you think, in pajamas, in the dark, but you can’t imagine it gets any better. If not for the undercurrent of music, you may have forgotten your purpose here entirely. P takes the first step, and you follow his lead with a dull anxiousness. Strangely enough, your movements feel still and mechanical compared to his. You try to loosen up, rolling your shoulders back, allowing yourself to be disarmed. P’s presence has a funny way of setting you at ease.
The two of you move slowly in circles through the room, swaying gently like awkward young lovers. You draw into him as the music carries. Your cheek settles against his shoulder and his arms wrap around the small of your back and you breathe easy. It’s a lovely feeling, the way your bodies fit together like this, like they were made to. As you continue to step and sway, you close your eyes and listen to the gentle whirs and clicks of your companion’s heart…although…
You maneuver slightly and press your ear to his chest. With some surprise you notice a skipping in its usual rhythm, bolder than you’ve ever heard it. You pull your head away and look up at P’s face in awe, a glinting smirk crossing your lips.
“Pino, are you nervous?” You ask, cocking your head to the side. His face contorts and he opens his mouth as if to speak, but nothing comes of it. He actually looks flustered and you almost don’t believe it. “It’s just me.” You say simply. At this, Pinocchio’s face softens, his brows turning up as if he’d taken offense.
“Just you?” He asks, and the timbre of his voice surprises you. You spend so much time together, and yet hardly do you hear him speak. Your smile fades slowly, replaced with an expression of curiosity. You nod hesitantly and hum in reply. P shakes his head at you, deliberate and slow.
“Not just.” He murmurs, his gaze holding yours intently. “Never just you.” You realize you’re holding your breath. A ghost of a whisper slips past your lips.
“Oh.”
Your fingers itch for something you can’t quite name and you find yourself pulling the puppet closer. His head dips to meet you and you feel a stray lock of his hair brush your cheek. His breath is warm.
The song ends.
The needle of the gramophone lifts and the air is stretched thin with a cutting silence. You’re left in the dark together again, frozen in place. It feels terribly long, like you’re both waiting for something.
“The music’s stopped.” You say, shattering the stillness of the moment, and as P moves to retrieve the record you immediately wish you hadn't. Your hand extends to stop him, fingers closing around his wrist. “But- we don’t have to, you know.”
In the dark, you think you see him smile. He holds you like glass, delicate, and picks up again, moving leisurely to the music playing only in his head. He hums the tune softly and you follow suit, the two of you meeting in a duet of somber sounds. You wonder if your chests swell the same, if your breaths and heartbeats synchronize, following each other blindly the way you do now. The motion feels like crashing waves, steady and rhythmic, comfortingly repetitive. You fall into the flow of it all over again, leaning against P, sturdy and secure. You wouldn’t mind doing this all night.
Feels alright, indeed.

Gemini is probably one of the most interesting characters to me. We know very little about him. All we can for certain say in:
Something happened to him (Sophia saying: "I see they got Gemini too...").
He has some connection to the Monads.
I'll talk about who he may be later, but I think this is so interesting.
I've seen a lot of people say they love Gemini and others say they think he's annoying.
Personally, I like him! I think he's pretty charming and helps the world feel a little less lonely. I mostly play soulslikes or games that take place in dark worlds in general, so I tend to latch onto anyone that isn't actively trying to kill me.
I think that him being mildly annoying was, at least, partially intentional.
In the original book written by Carlo Collodi, Pinocchio didn't like Jiminy. Jiminy told him things he didn't want to hear and Pinocchio found him annoying. Pinocchio found him so annoying he accidentally killed him via a thrown hammer.
He acted both as a guide and as an annoyance. This is exactly what Gemini is in Lies of P.
He is a guide puppet who will give P information every now and then, and is also kind of annoying to P.
We only get 1 instance of P explicitly finding Gemini annoying. This is on the ride up the mountain to the chapel. Whether or not P finds him annoying the entire game or not is never stated. So I suppose its up to interpretation!
There wasn't much point to this, I just find my weird little lamp guy funny lol

Lies of P DLC
This is a non-exhaustive list of things I think we'll see in the Lies of P Overture DLC after watching that trailer, and things I wish they'd do because I personally think they'd be cool, and tie the whole thing together. List under the cut because even *I* haven't finished playing the game yet, I just write fanfiction in my spare time too.
Things I would *like* to see/Wish they would do: - I want to see our choices in the base game matter. I want to see subtle hints or dialogue changes based on what ending we ended up with. The fact that I'm 98% sure that was baby Spring makes me wonder if we'd see our favorite fur-child react to any obvious changes or lack thereof in our humanity. - Can the things we do in the past please affect the future? If we're able to save this data and go into NG+, can we actually get a chance to maybe befriend Romeo? That would be awesome. I want to see what our options are there, and why Geppetto said "I'm glad you didn't need my help." What do you mean "help", old man? Were you considering invoking the Covenant's orders? - Speaking of Romeo - is he going to be alive at this point? How far back are we talking? If he's alive before the deal, I wonder if we're going to need to persuade him to take it. That male voice in the trailer (the one talking about Stalkers) I'm pretty sure that's Alidoro. Like. The real Alidoro. I was initially thinking Gemini, but given the lamp in the promo banner I don't think that's correct. It works with his sense of justice.
Things I think we will see:
-I believe that we will be actively participating in the Battle of Workshop Tower, if not seeing the results directly after.
-Possibly the Monad Charity House? That lady with the stringed puppet (which btw I'm almost *certain* is a physical representation of the Blue Fairy that *isn't* Sophia) - I wonder if she's Isabelle. Just a hunch, but for there to be a woman with the power to control a puppet like that, with that particular arm attachment, I'm willing to bet it was the wife of Valentinus. And remember, that boarding school is a training facility. -Given this appears to be before all the Stalkers died, perhaps this is where we meet Medoro's team? Along with other Stalkers we'd either heard of or met previously (looking right at you Black Rabbit Brotherhood. Mischief abound? Yeah that's exactly what you'd get into).

I had a dream last night that there was another area in the dlc, I think it was a branching path from the cliffside after the guardian of the ruins. It was a narrow, twisty forest path, and for some reason, everything there was in greyscale. Even P turned greyscale as soon as he went there. The only thing that wasn't in greyscale was Monad's lamp, which you needed to have switched on unless you wanted to fumble around in the dark, since the area took place in the dead of night. It was so quiet and eerie. Gemini didn't speak at all. There were no enemies, and I was expecting there to be a boss at the end, but there wasn't. It just looped back around to the carnival garden, and I opened a shortcut there before getting absolutely demolished by puppets that swarmed out of the gate. There was probably another boss in the carnival garden, but I woke up before I could see it :(

Since I have a disease of the brain that makes me put Pokemon in everything, here’s the Pokemon I think Lies of P characters would team up with. I’m going back and forth on if this is their normal setting but with Pokemon or a strictly Pokemon setting.
We are here to have fun, people!!
P/The Puppet/Pinocchio- Banette. Not only is Banette the marionette pokemon, Banette is said to be an abandoned doll come to life. *gestures wildly at P* While it’s technically more of a malicious “come back to life” I ask you to put a pin in that until we get to Carlo.
Gemini- Special mention. Being a tiny cricket in a lamp, Gemini would not have a pokemon, but be one. Specifically a Nymble. For obvious reasons.
Sophia- Vivillion, specifically Marine pattern, as it most closely matches her shade of blue. Also, Krat is on the water, so obtaining the pattern makes sense.
Geppetto- If we’re sticking with their usual world but with Pokemon, I was picturing a Mewtwo. Something about forcing this creature with unusual DNA and treating it like a lab experiment. Perhaps using the DNA of this beast would bring Carlo back. If not, he has a powerful weapon.
Lady Antonia- Audino. Not only does it have a lovely singing voice (and we know she loved to dance in her youth) but it can help care for her through her illness. After she passes, Audino disappears, being placed in the care of Polendina.
*A note here, puppets do not typically use Pokemon so Polendina and Pulcinella will not be on this list. In universe, it would be seen as odd, I imagine.
Venigni- Blaziken. Admittedly, this sprung from the thought that “Pulcinella” meant “little chick” or something like that, so having young Lorenzini have a Torchic in his youth was perfect. I’m not sure if this is correct anymore, but the image of Venigni in his red coat standing next to a blazing red Blaziken is too good to pass up. Also, his Blaziken has a timid nature.
Eugénie- It took me a bit to come up with something, but then I remembered there is EXPLICITLY a pokemon known for making weapons: Tinkaton. It can be no other
Spring-Would be a Litten. It is the most cat-shaped. I love Sprigatito, but I think Litten would fit into the environment more. Vibes, basically.
Simon Monad- For some reason, Golurk sprang to mind. Possibly because its creation is wrapped in mystery. But now that I think about it, Basculegion might be pretty good too. Simon’s middle name is Pistris, which means sea monster.
Red Fox and Black Cat- Thievul and Purrloin respectively. I don’t think I need to explain this one
Alidoro- Strange that “The Hound” would have a Chatot… it’s probably nothing.
Giangio- He doesn’t seem to have one, though he does carry around an egg.
Romeo- As a child, Romeo befriended and caught a playful Mudbray. After his passing, it is unknown what happened to it. The King of Puppets does not have a pokemon, but a Mimikyuu can be seen around the Opera house.
Carlo- Shuppet. Carlo didn’t particularly care for Shuppet at first. His father gave it to him since it was “The Puppet Pokemon” in the hopes it would keep him busy. After befriending Romeo and Mudbray, Carlo began warming to Shuppet, eventually considering it a friend. After the Monad Charity House incident, the Shuppet seemingly disappeared.

Adventures of Pinocchio Character References in Lies of P
Ok so this is just copy-pasted from Wikipedia. I left the descriptions for context for those who might not be aware of the book characters. Characters I don't know are represented with "???". If you know any, please let me know and I will edit them onto this list!
P / Carlo
Pinocchio – A marionette who gains wisdom through a series of misadventures that lead him to becoming a real human as reward for his good deeds.
Giuseppe Geppetto and Polendina
Geppetto – An elderly, impoverished woodcarver and the creator and father figure of Pinocchio. He wears a yellow wig that resembles cornmeal mush (or polendina), and because of this the children of the neighborhood and some adults call him "Polendina", which greatly annoys him. "Geppetto" is a syncopated form of Giuseppetto, which in turn is a diminutive of the name Giuseppe (Italian for Joseph).
Romeo (Lampwick)
Candlewick aka "Lucignolo" – A juvenile delinquent who is as tall and thin as a wick. He is Pinocchio's best friend, but also serves as a bad influence for him. His nickname translates to either "Lampwick" or "Candlewick" because of his lanky physique.
Parade Master
The Coachman (l'Omino) – The owner of the Land of Toys, who takes naughty, disobedient, and lazy children there on his stagecoach, which is pulled by twenty-four donkeys with white shoes on their hooves. Once the children who visit turn into donkeys, he sells them for labor.
Fuoco and the appearance of the Parade Master
Mangiafuoco ("Fire-Eater" in English) – The wealthy director of the Great Marionette Theater, who has red eyes and a black beard that reaches to the floor, with his mouth being "as wide as an oven [with] teeth like yellow fangs". Despite his appearance, Mangiafuoco is not evil.
Sophia Monad
The Fairy with Turquoise Hair (la Fata dai capelli turchini) – The spirit of the forest, who rescues Pinocchio and adopts him first as her brother, then as her son.
The Pistris (submarine) and Simon Manus
The Terrible Dogfish (Il terribile Pesce-cane) – A mile-long, five-story-high fish. Pescecane, while literally meaning "dog fish", generally means "shark" in Italian.
Gemini / Monad's Lamp
The Talking Cricket (il Grillo Parlante) – A cricket whom Pinocchio kills after it tries to give him some advice, and later returns as a ghost to continue advising him.
Green Monster of the Swamp
The Green Fisherman (il Pescatore verde) – A green-skinned ogre on the Island of Busy Bees who catches Pinocchio in his fishing net and attempts to eat him.
Red Fox and Black Cat
The Fox and the Cat (la Volpe e il Gatto) – Greedy anthropomorphic animals who pretend to be lame and blind respectively. Throughout the story, they lead Pinocchio astray, rob him, and eventually try to hang him.
Antonia Cerasani
Mastro Antonio ([anˈtɔːnjo] in Italian, /ɑːnˈtoʊnjoʊ/ ahn-TOH-nyoh in English) – An elderly carpenter, who finds the log that eventually becomes Pinocchio, planning to make it into a table leg until it cries out "Please be careful!" The children call Antonio "Mastro Ciliegia (cherry)" because of his red nose.
Arlecchino, Pulcinella, and Rosaura
Arlecchino, Pulcinella, and Signora Rosaura – Marionettes at the theater who embrace Pinocchio as their brother.
???
The Innkeeper (l'Oste) – An employer who is tricked by the Fox and the Cat and unknowingly leads Pinocchio into an ambush.
Stalker Falcon (Noble Knight)
The Falcon (il Falco) – A falcon who helps the Fairy with Turquoise Hair rescue Pinocchio from hanging.
Reporter Medoro
Medoro ([meˈdɔːro] in Italian) – A poodle who is the mice-pulled stagecoach driver for the Fairy with Turquoise Hair. He is described as being dressed in court livery. He wears a tricorn with gold lace over a wig of waist-length white curls, a chocolate-colored velvet coat with diamond buttons and two huge pockets filled with bones, crimson velvet breeches, silk stockings, and silver-buckled slippers.
Owl Doctor and ???
The Owl (la Civetta) and the Crow (il Corvo) – Two famous doctors who diagnose Pinocchio alongside the Talking Cricket.
Parrot ("Alidoro")
The Parrot (il Pappagallo) – A parrot who tells Pinocchio of the Fox and the Cat's trickery and mocks him for being tricked by them.
"The Judge" (gorilla at the zoo)
The Judge (il Giudice) – An old gorilla who works as a judge of Catchfools.
???
