Chapter 6: The Decay of Our Lives (#23a)
Ichiriki is, of course, stomping around the art room tables with enough fury I hope no one thinks there’s a murder going on.
“You would be the guy to assign to the art room.”
“And what is THAT supposed to mean?”
“It means you’re the art guy?”
“Hmph.”
Wow, is he conceding I have a point?
“As if I could POSSIBLY be reduced to TWO WORDS!”
Of course.
He retrieves his electroID, taps the screen a few times, and emits another sound of rage.
“And WHERE are the Monofiles? Doesn’t that THING already KNOW the causes of death?”
“We WATCHED half of them OURSELVES, for Pete’s sake!”
“Not sure why you’re in such a rush, but that’s true.” And those we didn’t watch ourselves, we proved in “court.” Aside from exact times of death, there shouldn’t be much left to debate.
“Guess he’s busy figuring out which rooms we should be allowed inside. Not to mention actually getting them open.”
“I always meant to camp out one night after a trial to see exactly what he has to do...”
...But I’ve never been in the mood to bother after these trials, either.
“UGH! I’m sure it’s NOTHING but NOISE, anyway!”
“Yeah... Probably nothing useful.” The exit door has a whole lot more security than the others, after all.
The exit... Will we finally find our way out after this trial?
Only if we get this right. And if I want to do that, I don’t have time to stand around pondering the future.
Let’s get back to investigating.

sit down at a table.... take a minute to breathe...
Maeda, narrating - …I want to learn more…
Maeda - …
Maeda - But, I can look at Iranami and ponder from over here.
Maeda - At least- I’ll take a break for a second…
~*~
//Maeda sits down at the table one away from Iranami.
Maeda - …
Maeda - It’s just so bizarre…
Maeda - I hope Maki’s thinking about it, in Tsurugi’s dorm- I’m sure she is…
Maeda - Hopefully, it’s just weird to me because I don’t know enough about the human body.
Maeda - …
Maeda - That’s bullshit. Maki was totally thrown by what Tsurugi did. She has no clue what happened.
//Maeda rests his head in his arms.
Maeda - God…
Maeda - …
Maeda - I don’t know who to trust.
Maeda - Hatano isn’t concerned with anything, Maki doesn’t seem to know… I’m not stupid, so I don’t trust Ōtori…
Maeda - Kobashikawa is obviously hiding something, and Tsurugi never helps…
Maeda - Uehara keeps getting on my case, then off it, and touting weird bullshit…
Maeda - I don’t know who to turn to for help.
Maeda - …
Maeda - I guess that’s what I get for being dependent. I should work harder on existing on my own…
Maeda - …But, what would I do? I don’t have any wants, or inclinations. All I want is to be around the people that are important to me.
Maeda - I figured if I got a job that kept me alive, that’d be fine- and then, I got to come here, so I thought I could get a good job, and make enough money to relax, take care of people…
??? - Damn.
Maeda - FUCK-
//Maeda shoots up.
??? - Hi.
??? - This wasn’t the blackened, right? The sutures?
//Someone new is standing near Iranami-
Maeda - T-Taira?!
Taira - …
Taira - …Hi.
Taira - Did the blackened slice and dice Iranami? Do you know?
Maeda - …What the fuck.
Maeda - Hi, Taira!
Maeda - Where have you been? Oh my god. You’ve missed so much.
Taira - Nothing too big, I’d hope?
Maeda - …
Maeda - Like… five minutes ago, Hatano and Tsurugi were actively beating each other up.
Taira - …
Taira - Oh. Yeah, that’s big.
Maeda - Where have you been?
Taira - You first. I want to hear about what happened, and I imagine you have more to say than I do.
//She takes a seat across the table from him, one chair down.
Maeda - …
Maeda - Have you looked at the Monofiles?
//She nods.
Maeda - Okay- I’m not giving you every detail, alright?
Maeda - I’m sure we’ll have to go over everything, again, in the trial… but, to synopsize-
Maeda - I went to the dining hall, where Maki and Ōtori were arguing over if Ōtori could go into the kitchen by himself or not, because Maki was worried about what he’d do on his own.
Maeda - I went with him, and Maki turned out to be right to suspect him- he dumped a pot of coffee down the drain, and when some of it spilled, I tried to clean it, and burned myself.
Maeda - But, it wasn’t a temperature burn, it was a chemical burn- the coffee was made last night, and laced with something or other.
Maeda - Ōtori denied any involvement- a lie, but Maki and I didn’t know this, so we investigated Iranami’s body with him.
Maeda - She bled like crazy, from her eyes, ears, and nose. Most of the blood you’re seeing is from when she died, last night.
Maeda - By the way, Hatano was crying at a different table this whole time.
Maeda - So, I left… I went to Tsurugi’s dorm, where Kobashikawa and Tomori were guarding Higa’s body. They hadn’t really investigated, but Tomori was willing to once I was there.
Maeda - We think he was suffocated, and we found blood on a pillow nearby, but that didn’t help us out much.
Maeda - God…
Maeda - I talked with Kobashikawa and Tomori, I investigated around Tsurugi’s dorm- and I found Iranami’s hair ribbon! Did Hatano tell you about that?
Taira - She told me you found it, yes.
Maeda - Okay… well, that brings me to the next part- wait! No, it doesn’t.
Maeda - Tsurugi and Uehara came in at this point, and took over for Kobashikawa on guard duty, and Tsurugi investigated, while I came back to the dining hall.
Maeda - I gave Hatano the ribbon, talked with Ōtori, talked with Maki- she pointed out to me that the discolored skin along Higa’s back was likely from the blood pooling where gravity pulled it to.
Maeda - I went back to Tsurugi’s dorm, Tsurugi left to look for Kobashikawa, since he wasn’t back yet, I talked with Uehara-
Maeda - This is when I realized Ōtori had to have been lying to me earlier. Uehara mentioned to me that he had gone on a snack run last night, which I’d forgotten about.
Maeda - Which- I don’t know if you remember that? But Uehara, Kobashikawa, Ōtori, Iranami, and Higa went to the dining hall for snacks.
Maeda - So, when Kobashikawa was back, I told him what Uehara had told me about, since Uehara didn’t remember too clearly- and, I’d already talked with Kobashikawa, and he hadn’t mentioned.
Maeda - …I can omit what Kobashikawa said about leaving- I’m sure he’ll explain it in the trial. I trust him, and he’s trusting me to not tell.
Maeda - He said he’d forgotten it happened, and I believe him. He had seemed really tired, last night, before he left.
Maeda - But, between his testimony, and Uehara’s, I was pretty confident Ōtori slipped something into some coffee before he left the dining hall last night.
Maeda - Later, when I went back into the dining hall and confronted him about it, he pretty much confirmed it- by freaking out and running off.
Maeda - Which, speaking of running away, Kobashikawa left to go to his room when I started to theorize about what Ōtori had done last night, and I haven’t seen him since…
Maeda - I talked with Tsurugi a bit…
Maeda - Uh…
Maeda - I can’t tell her about him confirming Kobashikawa’s story about going to his room last night, because I’m not telling her about that.
Maeda - …Fuck. Do I tell her what Tsurugi said in the hallway?
Maeda - No.
Maeda - Can’t tell Taira. Taira should NOT know that.
Maeda - …
//His conviction quickly wins over.
Maeda - I didn’t talk with Tsurugi about anything too important- nothing that’s relevant to explaining what you missed, at least.
Maeda - I left with him to go investigate in the dining hall, and that’s when I told Maki what I’d learned about Ōtori. Again, he ran off- and earlier, I’d told Maki she could go investigate Higa’s body, and I’d guard in her place.
Maeda - So, it was just me and Tsurugi, then Tsurugi said he wanted to perform an autopsy to get some more information. He grabbed this medical bag thing, and used a scalpel to make some incisions on Iranami.
Maeda - You can see all of them just looking at her- except for the ones he made in her mouth.
Maeda - I mean- again, there’s information here, but I feel like we’ll have to debate this to hell and back in the trial, so just-
//Maeda makes eye contact with Taira- he knows she’s just waiting for him to go on. She understands.
Maeda - So! Tsurugi finished the autopsy, stitched Iranami up, Uehara came in, Uehara talked with Tsurugi, Tsurugi freaked out because Uehara zeroed in on the stitches, but not that Tsurugi had done them, so he talked about how messed up the blackened must have been…
Maeda - Uehara got Tsurugi to stop freaking out, Hatano came in, Hatano freaked out over Iranami, Tsurugi tried to explain, Hatano got mad at him,
Maeda - Honestly, for just… everything that’s happened, the whole game… Tsurugi tried to go to the kitchen to investigate, Hatano hit him, Uehara pushed her…
Maeda - They yelled, Tsurugi screamed, Hatano hit him again, Uehara pushed her again, she hit her head, Tsurugi tried to check on her, Tsurugi got Hatano and Uehara each a glass of water, Hatano threw her glass at him,
Maeda - Hatano started to hit Tsurugi again, Uehara tried to pull her off him again, Hatano hit him hard enough to get his nose to bleed, Tsurugi slapped her, Uehara told me to go get Maki,
Maeda - I got Maki, Tomori came with, in the… two minutes it took, apparently Hatano hit Uehara again, so his nose was bleeding for three different reasons, but we didn’t know that, so I got back to the dining hall,
Maeda - And Uehara was bleeding everywhere, and it was really fucked up, but Tomori went to check on him, and Maki intervened because Tsurugi and Hatano were still fighting,
Maeda - And she asked, like… who she needed to pull off of who, and I told her to get Hatano, because Tsurugi wouldn’t go after her, and Maki like- pulled Hatano off him by the hair, and it sounded like it really hurt…
Maeda - Hatano yelled at Tsurugi again, because he gave her Iranami’s ribbon, which had fallen out of her hair, then Tsurugi got some rags to clean up Uehara’s blood,
Maeda - While Tsurugi got Uehara cleaned up, Tomori got Hatano to leave the dining hall, so they left together… Maki asked about what we’d been up to before the fight, and I asked Tsurugi and Uehara what happened while I was gone.
Maeda - Maki left to go guard Higa’s body, then Tsurugi and Uehara left to go to to Uehara’s dorm, while I stayed to watch Iranami’s body.
Maeda - …
Taira - …And that’s everything I’ve missed?
Maeda - …Mhm! I think, at least.
Taira - …
Taira - Do you remember what your question for me was?
Maeda - Yeah!
Maeda - …Uh…
Maeda - It had to do with Hatano, right? That’s the only thing she’s been involved in- NO!
Maeda - What have you been doing!
Taira - …
//She laughs a bit, and looks away.
Taira - I’m surprised…
Taira - Uh- I was by the rec room, mostly…
Maeda - …The whole time?
Taira - Well, mostly.
Maeda - …
Maeda - Did… you go anywhere else?
Taira - …God, Maeda.
Taira - No, I spent 100% of my time in the rec room, except for the time I took walking through hallways and up stairs to get there, then going through those same hallways, down the same stairs, to get back.
Taira - Do you really need me to confirm every little detail?
Maeda - …Just figured I’d ask…
Taira - Not like you have much more to report, you went to two different rooms, on the same floor…
Maeda - Well, yeah…
Maeda - But I went to each multiple times… there was a lot of back and forth…
Taira - God, don’t get all silent on me… it’s not that serious.
Maeda - …Sorry.
Taira - …
Maeda - …
Taira - …
Maeda - …
Taira - …
//She sighs.
Taira - I didn’t find anything worth noting. To be honest, I got distracted thinking about other things-
Taira - But, I wouldn’t say it was a waste of investigation time…
Taira - In fact- there’s a few things I wanted to talk to you about, Maeda.
Maeda - …
Maeda - D…Does she mean…
Maeda - …Now?
Maeda - …
Taira - …First, though- any other questions for me?
Maeda - …
Maeda - Anything to share about Hatano?
Taira - …Prying into her personal life?
Maeda - N-No!
Taira - Joking, again.
Taira - Typically, I’d happily share anything I’d learned about her feelings with you… but she didn’t betray much.
Taira - Said she’d been looking for me, asked what I was doing… I saw the ribbon, commented that I recognized it as Iranami’s, and asked if she’d like me to tie up her hair for her.
Taira - She had some comment to make about my talent… because nothing I ever do can just be, it’s aaaalways because I’m a maid, or they feel so bad, and want me to know they don’t feel entitled,
Taira - But, you know about things like that…
Taira - I asked how she’d like her hair, gave her a nice little bow, and sent her along on her way.
Maeda - Huh…
Maeda - Really didn’t feel like confiding in you?
Taira - No, but it’s alright… nothing I’m worried about.
Maeda - …
Maeda - Doesn’t surprise me- if anything, I was surprised when she talked with me- and I was the one who brought her the ribbon!
Maeda - …
Maeda - I knew it’d open those feelings up for her…
//Maeda sighs.
Maeda - Well, that’s all I really have to ask you…
//…A wave of anxiety rushes over him, cold trepidation flowing from his fingers to his lungs.
Maeda - …What do you want to talk about?
Taira - Hmmm…
//She rests her chin on her hand, and stares idly at the table.
Taira - A few things, honestly…
Taira - I guess I’ll start with this;
Taira - Who do you think is the blackened?
Maeda - …
Maeda - Uhm…
Maeda - …This again?
Maeda - …
//He takes a moment, reviewing every bit of evidence, mentally highlighting any names which keep cropping up, students in places they maybe shouldn’t be…
Maeda - …
//And comes up empty.
Maeda - …Honestly, I don’t have a clue.
Maeda - I… I want to say that it has to be someone from the dining hall trip, and that narrows it down to just three people…
Maeda - Which really, gives me two suspects, because Kobashikawa just doesn’t feel feasible…
Maeda - …But- it’s hard to say that either of them killed Iranami and Higa.
//Taira hums.
Maeda - And then, there’s the chance there’s really no relation… and it was someone else- maybe someone who killed Higa while the snack run was happening!
Maeda - There was people awake- but really, who knows…
Maeda - I mean- because it looks like Higa was strangled, and it looks like Iranami was poisoned.
Maeda - But I don’t fucking know! I don’t know when anyone had the opening for either of those, and I don’t even know how they pulled it off- because Higa was an athlete, and Iranami could’ve just not drank the coffee!
Maeda - It’s- like, I try to apply reasoning to anything here, and it all just… crumbles.
Taira - …Huh…
Taira - Well- have you tried giving up on reasoning?
Maeda - …What.
Taira - I’m not saying you shouldn’t have cause for the things you say- but you’re trying to make sure you can fill in blanks, instead of just… using what you know.
Taira - You don’t know how it happened, but you know Higa and Iranami died, because you can see it.
Taira - Not like you’ll start saying they couldn’t have died, because you don’t get how it happened, yeah?
Taira - And before, you didn’t know Yamaguchi or Inori’s reasons, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t exist, or didn’t factor in what happened-
Taira - There was a reason Tsurugi was attacked, not killed-
Taira - You just didn’t know why, yet. Didn’t change the fact it happened.
Taira - Sometimes, you won’t know things. You still have to act.
Maeda - …?
Taira - …You still have to accept what you’re seeing, and explain it.
Taira - Give up on trying to have sound, bullet-proof logic for everything. All you need is enough to convince the others.
Taira - If they can’t poke a hole in it, it’s probably true.
Maeda - …Huh.
Maeda - Maybe I have gotten too concerned with everything being completely irrefutable…
Taira - Mhm.
Taira - People's refutations don’t matter if they can’t come up with something better.
Maeda - …
Maeda - I don’t… have a suspect yet, though.
Taira - Doesn’t bother me. I was just curious on if you had anywhere I could start…
Taira - …Hm…
Taira - You said you don’t think it could’ve been Kobashikawa- care to elaborate?
Maeda - …I know it’s stupid to say “I know them better” about anyone… but that’s not my reasoning.
Maeda - It’s similar to how I don’t think Hatano couldn’t have done it, because she really doesn’t seem like she’s pretending to be upset-
Maeda - Kobashikawa really seemed like he’d forgotten about the snack trip, and… I don’t know- just, whenever he talked…
Maeda - He felt like he had no clue about any of what happened- not… that he didn’t witness anything… but like he couldn’t have been involved in any of the murders.
Taira - Mhm…
Taira - I understand what you’re talking about.
Taira - But, that still leaves six suspects for you. No ways of narrowing it down?
Maeda - …
Maeda - Ōtori was definitely lying, and Uehara’s been acting strange. The same applies to Tsurugi- he’s been… weird, today.
Maeda - Maki and Tomori don’t seem to have any involvement… but, there’s also no incriminating clues- I wouldn’t write them off just because I don’t see any obvious signs they were involved.
Taira - And?
Maeda - …
Maeda - The same applies to you.
Taira - …Except, for the fact that I was gone for the entire investigation.
Maeda - …And, other than Ōtori, you were the only one who knew the actual time that the dining hall opened and closed.
Taira - Oh- right, and that.
Maeda - Mhm…
Taira - So- there’s some people who stand out to you- but no one who you’re too confident on.
Maeda - …
Maeda - I mean. Ōtori definitely poisoned the coffee. The coffee that was made the night Iranami died, while Iranami was there, in the room attached to the room Iranami died in.
Maeda - Very confident about that.
Maeda - …But, way less confident about Ōtori’s ability to kill Higa.
Taira - Well, no one’s saying they had the same killer.
Maeda - OH- shit, you’re right!
Maeda - …But, in that situation, I don’t even know which murder I need to solve for.
Taira - …Well, we can worry over everything more in the trial-
Taira - For now, though… mind if I complicate things for you more, Maeda?
Maeda - Yeah- what are you thinking about, Taira?
Taira - …
Taira - Y’know, if you say it like that, it makes it sound like you do mind, Maeda…
Maeda - Oh-
Taira - Which, like, if you hate me, that’s fine…
Maeda - I don’t-
Taira - I’m just messing around, I know.
Maeda - …
Maeda - I know she’s joking… I just don’t know how to respond.
Maeda - …Haha…
Taira - …Hm…
Taira - Really, I don’t know how to explain it to you…
Taira - …
Taira - Last night didn’t happen in a void-
Maeda - !...
Taira - -It happened as… say, the tenth night? Of us being in here…
Taira - And that’s the thing- there’s more to this than what you know. People are keeping secrets like crazy- they have to be, or we wouldn’t be wondering who the blackened is, we could just ask and be told.
Taira - Try and think back on what’s happened. Not right now, you can’t tell what’s relevant and what isn’t with where you are in your logic-
Taira - Just… throughout the trial.
Taira - Though- if you could come to understand what you need to be focusing on now, and look at it through that… lens…
Taira - Well, it may speed up the trial enough that we can get out in time for a not-late lunch.
Maeda - Huh…
Maeda - …Anything in particular that’s on your mind?
Taira - …
Taira - You’ve asked everyone for their testimonies last night, yeah?
Maeda - Mhm…
Taira - …
Taira - Everyone?
Maeda - …!
Maeda - Taira! Did you hear anything last night? See something?
//She closes her eyes, and shakes her head.
Taira - Nope. Not a thing.
Maeda - …Oh.
Taira - But. Anyone else you think you should check in with?
Maeda - …
Maeda - Maki, Tomori, Hatano, Uehara, Kobashikawa, Taira, Ōtori, Tsurugi…
Maeda - …
Taira - …
Taira - Maeda.
Taira - Do you have a testimony you want to go ahead and tell me about? To prepare for the trial?
Maeda - ..Oh-
Maeda - No… I didn’t hear anything last night.
Maeda - I mean- not after the snack trip, at least.
Maeda - Even then, I think I was practically asleep by the time they got back…
Maeda - Not sure if you noticed that or not- I saw that… that you… were still up…
Maeda - …But… that, uh… doesn’t mean that… uh…
Maeda - …
Maeda, spoken - Oh, fuck!
~“In the morning, it’ll come back to him in whispered fragments- As the door creaks slightly, swinging open, letting light flood in once more. There’s a soft thump. Then… There’s a light again- the source isn’t as large as when the door to the hallway was open, but this one is closer to Maeda, and it’s brighter.”~
Maeda - …Shit.
~“There was something happening.”~
Maeda - …Ohhh my fucking God.
Taira - …
Taira - …Remembered something?
Maeda - Y… Yeah.
Maeda - Oh my god. I totally heard something last night-
Maeda - I can’t believe I didn’t do anything!
Taira - What’d you hear?
Maeda - I…
Maeda - Oh my god…
Maeda - I heard people- what must have been someone leaving Tsurugi’s dorm…
Maeda - And I heard someone accuse someone else of murder!
Maeda - God… and there was all those lights… and those noises, and the voices that I couldn’t hear clearly…
Maeda - And I just… didn’t wake up.
Taira - Well that’s… substantive…
Maeda - Ohhh my goddd…
Taira - I mean, even though it doesn’t seem like you caught much detail, I’m sure we can use this to support whatever theory you come up with-
Taira - Talk about a lens to solve the case under!
Maeda - …
Taira - …
//She’s watching him, waiting… but Maeda’s utterly distraught.
Taira - …
Taira, softly - What?
Maeda - …I…
Maeda - …I could’ve saved them…
Taira - …
Taira - Maybe. But, I don’t think so.
Taira - You could also lose your mind, and set the school ablaze- but you aren’t going to, even though you could.
Taira - You shouldn’t be upset that your capabilities didn’t align with your nature. You stated you were tired before they’d even left for the dining hall-
Taira - You were asleep, just… not enough to be entirely dulled to your surroundings.
Taira - You also could’ve felt ill, and not shown up to orientation, and then none of this would be happening.
Maeda - …
Maeda - It still would- it just wouldn’t be my problem.
Taira - Wouldn’t that be better?
Maeda - …Uh…
Maeda - For me, or… for everyone else?
Taira - …
//She sighs.
Taira - Well, if you’re upset with yourself for not intervening last night, you must think it’s the latter, right?
Maeda - …I mean…
Maeda - It’s not like I feel that me being here is bad… I’m just upset I didn’t do more. I feel guilty… like everything’s my fault.
Maeda - …I get what you mean, Taira. You’re right…
//She smiles
Maeda - …Is everything my fault?
//A song rings out- soft, and familiar… but far from soothing.
Maeda - Oh-
//Taira sits up straight, just in time for the announcement to start.

//The soft hum from the speakers dissipates, confirming that the announcement is over.
Taira - …Well- I was going to ask you to recount what you heard…
Taira - But, I’m sure we’ll go over it in the trial.
Maeda - …
~“Someone in the room is thinking. About the inevitability of death. About the world outside. About how urgently they need an escape to appear.”~
Taira - Shall we?
Maeda - …You can go ahead- I’ll be a second…
Taira - …Alright.
//She stands.
Taira - Five minutes, Maeda. I’ll see you then.
//Maeda nods, and stands as well- but when Taira leaves, he doesn’t follow. He turns to watch her go-
Maeda - !
Maeda - Oh…
//And notices the pairs of bloody footprints on the floor- three of them, all leaving the dining hall. It’s easy to identify who caused which set. All three originate from where Uehara was sitting, and though there wasn’t enough blood to leave traces all the way out the door, one set clearly goes over to where Hatano was, while the other two are closer together, with one deviating away to where Tsurugi left his things.
Maeda - …
//Maeda walks to the door, then turns, facing the dining hall.
Maeda - …
//He wants to say he sees things how they once were- that for a moment, Kurokawa’s in the kitchen, as Mekaru toys with some string for a bracelet. That everyone’s there- Higa, Inori, Yamaguchi… and Iranami isn’t surrounded by her own blood. Hatano is trying to chat with her, while Tsurugi, Uehara, and Tomori stay lost in their own conversation. Kobashikawa’s smile is nothing but fond as Ōtori and Maki snip at each other- without any malice.
Maeda - …But, those are only memories.
Maeda - It’s not like I can really convince myself that’s what I’m seeing.
//He knows he’s seeing Iranami for the last time- that while everyone’s arguing for their lives, the blood will be mopped up, Tsurugi’s dorm rearranged, and the bodies taken away.
Maeda - …
//Maeda leaves the dining hall.
Maeda - Sorry, Satsuki.
~*~
Maeda - …Regardless of how I’m feeling right now- and regardless of what it means for my relationship with my classmates…
Maeda - I’ll work hard to find out what happened. I won’t shy away from it.
{Go to Tsurugi’s Dorm}
{Go to The Elevator}

"Alapvetően harcsázó és nagyobb ragadozókra használt botként is viszonylag lágy felső rész miatt 0,20mm-től felfelé bármilyen monofil vagy fonott zsinór használható. Az érzékeny spicc pedig jól jelzi a kapást vagy éppen a műcsali mozgását. Éppen ezért is használják sokan úszós pontyozásra. A Pilk típusú botok széleskörűen használhatóak. A széles tartományú dobósúly és feszes, erős bottest alkalmassá teszi fenekezésre, harcsázásra, nádi pontyozásra. Az egyetlen olyan bottípus, amely harcsázásra használható fenekezve és pergetve is. A bot alkalmas a nehéz pergetésre is, sőt még közepes méretű harcsákat, nagy méretű pontyokat is nagy biztonsággal tudunk irányítani vele akár szűk, akadós helyeken is. A bot parafa nyele kényelmes biztos fogást biztosít a nagytestű halak fárasztása közben is."
Ehhez képest úgy eltört, mikor bevágtam egy hetvendekás dévérnek, mint a picsa.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Most kíváncsian várom a gyártó/forgalmazó válaszát, hogy egyrészt wtf, másrészt hogy lehet-e külön felső tagot venni?

Talent-swap Havoc [Chapter 1 evidence: May the future shine bright]
youtube
[All evidence is stated in the video and at the end of this post]
After they found his dead body, they soon went the gym after calming down Celestia where everyone else was. Sayaka asked where the body was and who it was before realizing Hifumi wasn't with them, now staying quiet. Monokuma appeared and laughed at they're fear and agony. Junko was going to attack the bear but was stopped by Byakuya who noticed her anger right away.
Monokuma told everyone where he was and handed them a Monofile which had the time of death and his wounds. They all went to the laundry room, the sent that was once clean and dirty clothes became blood and rotten. Sakura suggested that two people should watch over the body and everyone investigate in groups, in case anyone tries to mess with the crime scene. Once everyone agrees groups are formed...
❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁
Investigation groups:
Junko, Byakuya and Makoto
Mondo, Kiyotaka and Chihiro
Kyoko, Celestia and Toko
Leon, Sayaka and Sakura
Aoi and Yasuhiro on watching duty.
❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁
Once the groups were made, everyone split off. Junko doubts the Monofile but Byakuya confirms what was provided in the Monofile was true. Makoto asks how he knows and he states his Alibi. Yasuhiro then points out a broken baseball bat sticking out of one of the laundry bins. It was covered in blood.
After checking the laundry room they check the storage room where Mondo's group is. Kiyotaka explains what happened when he woke up and what he found. Makoto then furthers his statement with his own to. They decide the baseball bat probably came from the spares in here and soon leave to investigate further.
Junko decides on their investigating to check something out while the two wait outside. Junko runs into her dorm and screams as loud as humanly possible and comes out, asking if they heard anything. Byakuya asks what she means and Junko explained that she just screamed loudly in her dorm. They conclude the dorms are soundproof and continue their investigation.
While checking the other rooms and finding nothing, they stop and ask Kyoko's group some questions. Kyoko describes her alibi and Toko grumpily comforts a petrified Celestia. After that, Monokuma announces that their time is up and trial shall begin.
They all head to the elevator, it was time to start the trial... The trial for Hifumi Yamada.

-Monokuma File(Cause of death: Blow to the head. Time of death: 1:00am. Wounds: Small cut on palm.)
-Byakuya's Alibi (Byakuya woke up at the same time as Chihiro but they both ignored eac hother. Later, Byakuya found Hifumi's dead body and began investigating.)
-Baseball bat (Yasuhiro found a broken baseball bat covered in blood in one of the laundry bins.)
-Kiyotaka's account (Kiyotaka was the first to wake up at around 6:23am. On his way to the cafeteria he found a sharpe piece of red plastic on the ground with a smidge of blood.)
-Makoto's account (Makoto woke up at 6:30am and headed to the cafeteria. Mondo and Taka were already there and Chihiro came at about 6:40am. Junko appeared soon at 6:50am.)
-Soundproof rooms (Junko, Makoto and Byakuya tested if the dorms were soundproof, they are.)
-Kyoko's Alibi (Kyoko woke up at 7:00am with Celestia. Celestia had tried waking up Hifumi but lead to no avail so they searched for him. They found Byakuya investigating his dead corpse.)

I'm trying a bunch of writing software and most of them are bad, in very different ways, but all fairly bad
GhostWriter is monofile, is in markdown (you need 2 spaces to jump a line), and zooms in so much a quarter of a page already feels like a lot. It seems like a case of not the intended use, as it could be a great markdown editor.
One, which I will not name because the devs requests not to publicly review without telling them first, is buggy. It's full of bugs, and it's annoying. It boots up in french despite installing it in english (not just the wizard, I selected English language), it breaks projects fairly soon making them unusable as well.
QrollWriter is very nice, except it only exports to 2007 Word files and book reader files (like the Kindle), which are hard to read on PC. It has a lot and really a lot of customization. You can add custom fields to character sheets, it has dark mode available through a button, and a lot of stuff. Still, it feels overshadowed by that lack of export options.
Manuskript seems nice, I will have to try it again. Might be a bit too complex and sidetrack you with the 5ft tall character sheets and synopsis sheets.
Google Docs and LibreOffice (and Office/Office 365) run the issue of priotizing format over writing, and I don't think it would publish nicely to AO3 if wanted (rn I will probably export them as PDF). And GDocs' spellchecker seems egregiously bad, anyway, while Office 365's is limited unless you pay (and my office is old and probably outdated, like 2010...)
#honestly I wonder if I should just uninstall Office 2010 and keep Office 365 as a backup option.#2010 is old and boy do I wrestle with it sometimes.#but 365 seems capricious in capitalistic ways (you must use OneDrive apparently? which I don't want to most of the time.)#well. it's not exactly lost either. it's one fresh install away if needed.#I should install Libresoffice on the other computer though#💡 slime's unoriginals

Chapter 6: The Decay of Our Lives (#25b)
It’s already been involved in one murder case. Why not two?
But even when I dig around the room a little—not literally—nothing new comes up.
“Not a favorite hiding place for our young master, then.”
Can’t say I’m surprised. Let’s keep moving.
As I turn around, something beeps.
“My ID?”
I check my pockets, and sure enough...
“Monofiles 7 through 12.”
That’s how many people the mastermind pulled the plug on, huh?
Victim: Kazusuke Shintsuu Cause of Death: Head trauma Time of Death: 10:06 PM Body discoverers: ??? Notes: ???
Victim: Mary Jane Taima Cause of Death: Blunt force trauma Time of Death: 10:06 PM Body discoverers: ??? Notes: ???
Victim: Kokoro Tanukihara Cause of Death: Gunshot wound Time of Death: 10:07 PM Body discoverers: ??? Notes: ???
Victim: Itsurou Kishaba Cause of Death: Smoke inhalation Time of Death: 10:07 PM Body discoverers: ??? Notes: ???
Victim: Arthur Ford Cause of Death: Asphyxiation Time of Death: 10:08 PM Body discoverers: ??? Notes: ???
Victim: Tamiko Oshio Cause of Death: Gunshot wound Time of Death: 10:08 PM Body discoverers: ??? Notes: ???
I skim, but there are no surprises for cause of death or identity of the victims. Not too hard to guess why the omitted sections might reveal the killer’s identity, either.
Guess Aki’s trial must have ended around 10:00, then the young master came over to finish off everyone but Aidan in rough order. Was anyone in particular unaccounted for around then?
There’s no way I’d remember. I’ll just make a note of the info and keep looking while I can.
KOTODAMA GET
Monofiles: Kazusuke, Mary Jane, Kokoro, Itsurou, Arthur, and Tamiko all died shortly after 10PM. Their causes of death match their past Monofiles or executions. All body discoverer and notes sections were redacted.

ok hold on tomori, let’s use monofile 03-1 against {We know what her cause of death was,}, because unfortunately we do not!! and honestly, i still don’t know if the poisoned coffee could cause bleeding like that -iris
Maeda, narrating - …Oh my god. That’s it.
Maeda - If she died because she was poisoned, then why wouldn’t Monokuma just say that?
~*~
Maeda - Wait!
Maeda - …Are we sure we know what killed Iranami?
Maki - …
Maki - Coffee. Poison coffee.
Maki - The poisoned coffee, which burned the fuck out of your hand.
Maeda - Well- yeah! But-
Maeda - If she died because she was poisoned, wouldn’t the Monofile say that?
Uehara - Oh…
Maki - …We’ve already had this conversation.
Maki - If Ōtori hadn’t spilled the coffee on the floor, there would’ve been nothing to indicate that Iranami was poisoned.
Maki - It wasn’t immediately obvious what had killed her, so it wasn’t listed-
Maki - Besides “poisoned” is a lot vaguer than what the Monofile usually goes for.
Maki - Like how Mekaru died to asphyxiation, not stabbing.
Tomori - …In that case, couldn’t the Monofile have said blood loss, since that’s obvious?
Maki - But maybe she didn’t die to the blood loss specifically, but like… organ failure due to the poison, instead.
Maeda - This is what I mean!
Maeda - There’s still things we’re uncertain about… if things could possibly fall through, we should take the time to discuss more.
Tomori - Alright.
Tomori - What was her cause of death then?
Maeda - That’s… a good question.
Kobashikawa - …
Kobashikawa - The only thing that makes sense would be poison.
Ōtori - …
Kobashikawa - …
Hatano - …We should stop acting like Ōtori has a chance at getting his name cleared.
Ōtori - …
Ōtori - Acting like you’re certain it was me is a bold choice.
Ōtori - If I were you, I’d be more concerned with making sure I had the right culprit- that I was actually finding the person who killed my friend, not just finding someone to pin the blame on, so I’d feel satisfied.
Hatano - …
//Hatano’s eyes widen- the anger in them is indescribable. Ōtori is… trying to act unbothered, but when Kobashikawa starts to write on his whiteboard, his expression shifts.
Kobashikawa - …
//Maeda practically crumples under the withering look he gives Ōtori.
Kobashikawa - Are you seriously acting like you have any right to speak?
Ōtori - …
//Kobashikawa erases his whiteboard- pauses for a moment, then writes something else. When he looks up this time, the strongest thing his face shows is his exhaustion. No anger, no repulsion, and no wrath- nothing but finality.
Kobashikawa - Your dad would be so disappointed.
Ōtori - …
Ōtori - ………
Maeda - …
Ōtori - …Good thing he isn’t here, then.
Kobashikawa - …
//Both students look away.
Maeda - …Jesus christ, what is going on there?
Hatano - …
Tomori - …
Tsurugi - …So, where do you want to go from here?
Maki - …I thi-
Maeda, overlapping - …You need to stand to talk.
Maki - …
Tsurugi - …
Maeda - …
Maki - …Anyways, I don’t think there’s anywhere else we can really go with Iranami’s case-
Maki - If we need to, we’ll prosecute Ōtori for Iranami’s murder. Until then, we should discuss what happened to Higa, and see if we can find anything there that confirms what happened to Iranami.
Hatano - …
Maeda - I don’t think Hatano’s too happy right now… but it’s the best we can offer.
Maeda - Ultimately, as long as I managed to steer us back to Higa’s case, I’m hap-
Ōtori - Maeda’s burns!
Maeda - OH GOD DAMNIT ŌTORI-
Tomori - What about them?
Ōtori - It wasn’t me!
Ōtori - Holy shit- I didn’t kill Iranami!
Maeda - …Huh???
Ōtori - Fuck you! Definitive proof- even if your crazy conjecture was right!
Ōtori - Earlier- Earlier, when Kobashikawa was signing- he told me to confess!
Ōtori - As if I’m confessing to a murder I know I didn’t cause!
Ōtori - Okay. Are you ready, Maeda?
Maeda - Huh? Why me?!
Ōtori - You suck, that’s why.
Maeda - Huh…
Rebuttal Showdown: START!
Truth Bullets:
Monokuma File #3-01 Iranami’s Body Iranami’s Bleeding
Ōtori - What happened when you touched the coffee, Maeda?
Ōtori - You got burned! It was a chemical burn, which, before treatment, was characterized by blotchy patches of inflammation and a burning sensation!
Ōtori - If it hadn’t been treated, the acid likely would have burned through your epidermis, at the least.
Ōtori - Tell me- did you see any sort of burning on Iranami?
Ōtori - And, what about what we did see on her!
Ōtori - Did you feel like your eyes were about to start bleeding?
Ōtori - Two entirely different substances!
BREAK!
Maeda - That’s… a painfully strong point-
Maeda - There’s no saying what the poison could’ve done if it’d been allowed to keep going!
Maeda - M-Maybe all it needed was to reach the blood stream!
Phase Two
Ōtori - Oh, please.
Ōtori - The inner and outer skin is functionally the same- even if we say Iranami drank the coffee without burning her lips, {it’s unreasonable to say the poison wouldn’t have impacted her the way it did you!}
Ōtori - I’ll commend you, you did well- it took me some time to see the fallacy in your logic, obvious as it may be.
Ōtori - Whatever happened last night, I wasn’t involved.
Ōtori - I didn’t suggest we go to the dining hall, so {I wouldn’t have been able to prepare any poison}...
Ōtori - {None of you have anything that implicates me…}
Ōtori - I have the truth on my side- Have I finally been able to prove that to you?
Ōtori - Or, do we need to debate some more on whether or not {we’re jumping to conclusions}?
~*~
Maeda, narrating …Ugh.
Maeda - I know Ōtori’s lying… he has to be.
Maeda - If I can’t catch him on something in the evidence, maybe I can find something in what he’s said? //Note: Remember when I said you can’t absorb statements you disagree with? Nonstop Debate specific. In Rebuttal Showdowns, text which seems contradictory will be colored in bold. Ōtori’s got some inconsistencies- use them to catch him in a lie! (Ultimately, it’s about telling a story… this post has narrative importance to show how argumentative Ōtori is… isn’t it fine if the minigame is a bit… bad?)

Chapter 6: The Decay of Our Lives (#21)
“All right! To avoid any unnecessary delays, I’d like for us to get a few things done right away.”
“When do we expect the Monofiles to be sent out? The rest of you have a few more points of reference for that timeframe than I do.”
“Uhhhh, IDK? Seems like it’s totally taken longer every time, TBH.”
“That may be an exaggeration, but they definitely tend to come in the middle of our investigation. More than the beginning, I mean.”
Aidan nods.
“Then what about access to the currently boarded-off area? If Mister Monochaperone has his hands full with the reports, we may need to strip off some of the boards ourselves.”
“I can sooo do that! Lemme—”
“After ensuring they’re no longer considered off-limits.”
Kanagi deflates a bit.
“Oh. Yeah, sure, kay.”
“So the whole investigation’s on hold until we can talk to Monochap again?”
“You people expect ME to just STAND here? There has to be SOMETHING we can do!”
“Well, I certainly can’t get an operation set up with maximum efficiency without knowing the full scope of what we’ll be investigating, but it likely is best to get started right away.”
“Er...”
Mahavir clears his throat before seeming to remember why he spoke up.
“We are right beside the personal dorms. Perhaps those could be of some use.”
“Yeah, I’d consent to a room search as long as I’m still present.”
Aidan nods.
“Are there any objections to this course of action? It’s possible we may only be able to access our own dorms for the time being, but they ought to be easy for Mister Monochaperone to unlock as well.”
“You think I would allow sinners to enter my sanctum?”
“If you want to convince us stubborn sinners, who don’t know any better, that you’re not the mastermind of this game, yes.”
“Hmph.”
“In any case, it will be most efficient and reasonable, I think, to split by gender for this portion of the investigation.”
“Sounds good.” Be pretty stupid to overlook the clothes drawers and such, after all. And of the boys here...
I wouldn’t want them seeing my underwear, and 2/3 of them might faint at the sight. Definitely not a good use of time.
...This setup also keeps Tsunyasha and Mahavir separate. For the best.
