As well as countless of others from the AI generator community. Just talking about how "inaccessible art" is, I decided why not show how wrong these guys are while also helping anyone who actually wants to learn.

Here is the first one ART TEACHERS! There are plenty online and in places like youtube.

Second part BOOKS, I have collected some books that have helped me and might help others.

📚Here is my list:

The "how to draw manga" series produced by Graphic-sha. These are for manga artist but they give great advice and information.

"Creating characters with personality" by Tom Bancroft. A great book that can help not just people who draw cartoons but also realistic ones. As it helps you with facial ques and how to make a character interesting.

"Albinus on anatomy" by Robert Beverly Hale and Terence Coyle. Great book to help someone learn basic anatomy.

"Artistic Anatomy" by Dr. Paul Richer and Robert Beverly Hale. A good book if you want to go further in-depth with anatomy.

"Directing the story" by Francis Glebas. A good book if you want to Story board or make comics.

"Animal Anatomy for Artists" by Eliot Goldfinger. A good book for if you want to draw animals or creatures.

"Constructive Anatomy: with almost 500 illustrations" by George B. Bridgman. A great book to help you block out shadows in your figures and see them in a more 3 diamantine way.

"Dynamic Anatomy: Revised and expand" by Burne Hogarth. A book that shows how to block out shapes and easily understand what you are looking out. When it comes to human subjects.

"An Atlas of animal anatomy for artist" by W. Ellenberger and H. Dittrich and H. Baum. This is another good one for people who want to draw animals or creatures.

Etherington Brothers, they make books and have a free blog with art tips.

📝As for Supplies, I recommend starting out cheap, buying Pencils and art paper at dollar tree or 5 below. If you want to go fancy Michaels is always a good place for traditional supplies. They also get in some good sales and discounts. For digital art, I recommend not starting with a screen art drawing tablet as they are usually more expensive.

For the Best art Tablet I recommend either Xp-pen, Bamboo or Huion. Some can range from about 40$ to the thousands.

💻As for art programs here is a list of Free to pay.

Clip Studio paint ( you can choose to pay once or sub and get updates. Galaxy, Windows, macOS, iPad, iPhone, Android, or Chromebook device. )

Procreate ( pay once for $9.99 usd, IPAD & IPHONE ONLY)

Blender (for 3D modules/sculpting, animation and more. Free)

PaintTool SAI (pay but has a 31 day free trail)

Krita (Free)

mypaint (free)

FireAlpaca (free)

Aseprite ($19.99 usd but has a free trail, for pixel art Windows & macOS)

Drawpile (free and for if you want to draw with others)

IbisPaint (free, phone app ONLY)

Medibang (free, IPAD, Android and PC)

NOTE: Some of these can work on almost any computer like Clip and Sai but others will require a bit stronger computer like Blender. Please check their sites for if your computer is compatible.

So do with this information as you will but as you can tell there are ways to learn how to become an artist, without breaking the bank. The only thing that might be stopping YOU from using any of these things, is YOU.

I have made time to learn to draw and many artist have too. Either in-between working two jobs or taking care of your family and a job or regular school and chores. YOU just have to take the time or use some time management, it really doesn't take long to practice for like an hour or less. YOU also don't have to do it every day, just once or three times a week is fine.

My laptop stands dying (plastic, slowly starting to crack in half), so I'm trying to look for the type I used before, and it's being an... ✨adventure✨ so far.

It's the BRÄDA from Ikea, except Ikea's discontinued it, which fine okay. I'm wanting the same ish shape so that I can both carry it around and lay it on my lap without worrying I'm gonna drop it (which's why I'm not going for those laptop tables with pillow bottoms, they'd be a pain to carry). Which means what I'd like is the same z shape, angles the laptop and has a lip to keep it from sliding off.

Pretty basic, it's already been done once, clearly it's not going to be a new idea.

So I search for things similar to the brada. Not one is the right shape, and the one that's almost good enough is discontinued.

So I go though amazon. Nope.

So I go to Ikea for other things and see if there's anything similar enough. There is! Cook book stands!

They're too small.

Okay, back to amazon. Either the wrong size or the wrong shape (x shape holders mostly?)

Head over to etsy. Same problem for both until gasp! The thing I'm wanting! Almost exactly!

It's from the Uk. With ~20 additional dollar shipping on a ~20 dollar product.

So, I image search it, trying to find more in the right shape. There's one that's the same thing but for cooling down pizzas (?) and is too small again, but its labeled as z shape. Spoiler alert, that doesn't work either.

But finally. When all hope was thought to be lost.

Angled risers laptop. The keyword I finally needed. Lead me to monitor stands that work close enough. And it's not British! I'm freeeeeeeee! (knock on wood)

It's the weekend and Seph and Zack have a free schedule! How do they spend it?

YESSS!!! The weekend!!!! Oh man oh man, it’s been a decade and a half since the last one! Zack’s eyes are glued to the clock as the seconds tick by, and once their shift is over… HALLELUJAH!! Can we get a kool-aid man OH YEAH?! He is freeeeeeeee!

“Until Monday,” Sephiroth always reminds him. “Please step away from the paper shredder.” (Ofc said through the simmering desire to mutilate his own papers—a completely foreign and corrupted thought that he will not take responsibility for.)

A quick eenie meenie miney mo decides whose apartment they’ll be heading to. If it lands on Seph’s, then Zack just has to make onneeeee pit stop! Seph returns home to shed those bulky pauldrons and Zack comes bouncing in minutes later holding his favorite plushie, Muffin. Seph’s the only one in Midgar who knows that Muffin exists; Seph would never judge him, or laugh at him, or treat him like a baby. He accepts Muffin as the third member of their companionship!

No matter whose place they go, that’s where they’ll settle in for the night. Sephiroth has no interest in partying, or restaurants… or *choke* restaurant parties: putting on a disguise feels like he’s impersonating someone and inevitably encountering hordes of people would mar whatever “normal” experience he was supposed to have. And Zack knows this good and well. He does get Seph outta the base whenever he can, but for small things- small things like getting groceries or going book shopping, staying right by his side and squeezing his hand whenever he gets The Looks (it’s just General Sephiroth with a can of cream cheese calm the heck down).

On Fridays though? Fridays, the happiest day of the week? He just wants his friend to feel safe and sound <3 And besides, he spends so much time during the week out and about with Aerith, Cloud, Kunsel, and 54 of his other friends. There’s nothing better in the world than quality time with his best buddy <3

Work hours also cut evilly close into dinner. Time to order in! Zack insists on letting Seph reward himself after a long week of military miltarying, and there’s always at least oneeeee thing Zack can find on a menu that brings out Seph’s “oooooh” look (that’s slightly dilated kitty eyes and eyebrows rising 2%. Zack understands that not everyone speaks fluent Seph). They grew a habit of eating on the coffee table, Zack mostly dominating the conversation while Sephiroth chimes in with his take on something, orrr engaging in metaphysical debates that thrum the strings of the known universe.

“I was wondering,” Zack says after a bite of bbq chicken pizza, “if cars could drive themselves, would they need windshield wipers? Only people need that to see.”

Sephiroth swallows his own bite of mushroom pizza. “Hmm… but what if the person misses their destination and the rain is too thick to see?”

Sephiroth loves listening to Zack and contributing ideas, no matter how outrageous Zack’s discussions may be. Zack is outrageous. Zack is ridiculous and irreplaceable and always wants him to laugh. Never would he have a conversation as in depth as this in a board meeting.

Dinner time is always followed by a movie! Seph has a toothbrush for Zack to use and sleep clothes he always keeps in an extra drawer, so once they’re all nice and snug, Zack in fuzzy pajamas and Seph in something loose, they spend abt 10 minutes searching for the best thing they can find. (Horror flicks are off limits though, on insistence of Sephiroth. Seeing his friend so shaken by a and wounded by a film one time was enough. It was a miracle the TV was still in once piece from the RAGE he felt at it. Hmph.)

So they watch the movie, Zack always swaddling himself in Seph’s throw blankie that he fell in love with. He usually doesn’t make it through the movie, though, not when he’s as snug as a pug in a rug. The credits always roll with Zack slumped into his best friend’s arms—the place on the entire face of the planet where he feels the safest—Muffin squashed between his arms, his x-uped cheek pressed against his buddy’s heartbeat <3 It’s the silver lining of everything. Seph would always be right there, right on the ground with him when he woke up. And Zack would never ever leave his side.

Sephiroth knows exactly what to do. He gently lowers Zack onto the couch and tucks in the corners, making sure Muffin is tucked in too (Zack would want him just as warm). Somehow the sight is always so surreal, no matter how many times he sees it. But he’s grateful. Grateful everyday that he’s not alone, and that he’ll never be again. He doesn’t know what he ever did to deserve such a thing… through all the battles and all the bloodshed… but he would always cherish it.

A loving head pat goodnight, and Sephiroth heads off to bed himself <3 He always looks forward to weekends with his best friend, whatever Zack has in store for the next two days. Grocery shopping, book perusing, road trips… all the things that made him feel human. As long as Zack was by his side, he was willing to do them all <3

Daryl:

grew up listening to a lot of country music because of his father and absolutely hates it

only exception: Johnny Cash; mostly because of the principle of it, being a classic and all, but also because he likes the stories the singer tells

when he was a teenager, Merle used to take him to motorcycle clubs and bars where he listened to a lot of punk rock, classic rock and southern rock

he thought it was ok as long as it wasn't too loud or screamy

that's the main point: Daryl's not a big connoisseur of music because he prefers silence

so he doesn't really miss music after the ZA

but sometimes he sings Tom Petty's Free Fallin' while driving his bike

Carol, on the other hand:

Carol fucking loves music

kid Carol used to sing in the church choir, and listened to Elvis and The Supremes without her grandma knowledge

one of her favourite things to do when a teenager was to go to the only diner of her small city after school on friday nights and play her favourites songs on the jukebox

so much that she got a part job as a waitress there just to do it almost on a daily basis

she also really enjoyed call the local station to request songs

Carol liked all types of music, especially the dancing kind

she listened to ABBA and Whitney Houston and Foreigner and Prince

she really loved Marvin Gaye and Bon Jovi and how sexy they were

when she married Ed, she quickly learned to not listen to loud music

few years in and she stopped listening to music at all, and that was a really important part of her that she had to keep hidden and it hurt

years and years later, after ZA and a lot of heartbreak, mending and love confessions, both of them are riding to New Mexico and Daryl starts, really soft

she's a good girl, loves her mama

and before he realizes Carol starts singing with him and she just goes all the way

and to that day forward, when they feel like it, they sing together old songs they will probably never hear again, and Carol stands up and dances to her favourites while teaching the chorus lyrics to Daryl

and when they remember really cheesy songs Carol fully embraces the mood -hands in the heart, suffering expressions and passionate eye contact because she wants to know what love is and wants him to show her - and Daryl gets ashamed and red faced but sings along because she always laughs and kisses him by the end of their perfomance

Enkanomiya is big on loooreeee. Love it. I always finish stuff rather quickly, as in all of my stuff is on 100% and yes even enkanomiya, all my statues are leveled up, got pretty much all chests and all seelies, AR 56 pretty much all the usual 'endgame' stuff, cuz im just too excited for lore crumbs (I'm a big fan of genshin's story) and also so I don't miss good events that give freemogems. But in my defense I do not complain about lack of content cuz even when I'm done with new content I can focus on building characters/weapons or just run around and do dumb shit or help low level players. I kinda don't get why ppl complain if they rush thru it and then there's nothing to do... Like buddy what did u expect? Also I'm so excited for miko tomorrow. Pretty fox lady come home.

i honestly am the opposite i hate lore mostly bc i hate reading LMAOOO but i also find quests rather tedious you'll sit in dialogue for 5 mins and then it'll be like "HEAD OVER TO THE LOCATION" and it's 50m away and then ur sucked into dialogue again for 10 mins and then it just keeps going......and then u do allllll that and u don't even get primos for it 😤😤😤 I JUST WANNA RUN AROUND AND BE FREEEEEEEEE I DONT WANNA BE TRAPPED IN DIALOGUE !!!!!!

i even have places in mondstadt that aren't at 100% even tho i lit spend 99% of my time there. i just finally got around to maxing out my liyue statues and then i didn't even start the nine pillars quest BC I HATE QUESTS 😤 and i too am ar56 yikes

but on the bright side i almost alwayyyysssss have shit to do when i'm in the mood. i've had friends who have NO quests and then they have nothing to do and can't farm for primos that way HEHE

i can't stand it when ppl complain about there not being content like there IS content u just speed ran it. like how long did it take inazuma to finally get finished ? and u finished it in a DAY and expect sumeru to come immediately ? the game ain't rlly meant to be completed that fast the content is supposed to tide u over 😭😭😭😭

I was going back through things I liked recently and read a bunch of your sunday six posts again. Are most of the ones that didn’t make it to ao3 in works still in progress or discarded? Also @raraadsel​ - agree!

Weeeeeeell... I found a couple of things that were cut from Finale and Rondo so they won’t get posted. The remaining CMBYN snippets are from Allegro and Finale chapters that haven’t posted yet. Three more to go and I’ll be freeeeeeeee!

As for the rest, there is a My Mad Fat Diary fic which I’ve written an insane amount of but put on pause because I couldn’t figure out the NHS (it’s true--I kind of freaked out) but I hope to finish because I really love it. It’s a proper rom com-style story. Then there’s a Star Wars story I abandoned but may pick up again once the last film comes out. Then there are the six in-progress stories I have for Veronica Mars which I’ve had on hold now for nearly three years. EMBARRASSING. A Peggy Carter/Steve Rogers training camp story, I need to finish. Same for a Matt Murdock/Elektra story I got about 1K into. I don’t want any of these to be abandoned, I put in the work, I just have to finish.

One VM story aside that’s short a final chapter, I tend not to post without finishing stories first because I know I have a lot going on that I really need to be present for. The final chapters of Allegro and Finale from Pense-bête are mostly written and will wrap up soon, I just want to step back and look at the picture for a bit so that it all hangs together.

hey, i just wanted to write this down. for months during this quarantine, i had too much existential dread (still on-going). each day is a struggle for me. it puts a pressure on my mind. figuring out what i really want to do. after this quarantine, i just need a booze, smokes, and have people to talk to. have fun with my friends. i fucking miss my friends. my boyfriend especially. sigh. i just want a conversation. free up my mind. look forward to interact with people. learn and learn more history. the news in the philippines especially with all the current events is DRAINING me mentally. i’m tired of this fucking stupid ass government. but, that’s a whole different rant. i miss my old life in manila. free from everything. freeeeeeeee. i’m also looking forward this christmas break. i just want to deactivate my facebook. daming mga tanga at bobo. ewan ko. i want to get my nose pierced. i want to color my hair. i have to donate it first and then color my hair. i want to try getting bald someday. my parents are great. my parents are supportive and i’m grateful for that. i just wish we get to talk more, open up more. my parents are religious. my brother as well. i’m the exact opposite. i was catholic. forcefully. i never really understood how these morals that are being forced upon me, makes me catholic. everything feels like an obligation. church every sunday. church every first friday. church ever last saturday of the month. it burned me out. it was exhausting. but, i am an agnostic. i do believe there is a higher being nor am i removing the idea that there is a God above. i certainly believe there is someone. i still get to pray sometimes. being gentle and at peace with god. maybe i could write anything religious. could be, for now. i am in the middle of doing my thesis rrls. speaking of my thesis, i am having second thoughts on our topics. a comparative study of online vs. offline purchasing on cosmetics. i wanted maybe something social. i guess? political? hmm, i’m fucking dumb so maybe in another life, i would pick that as a thesis topic. probably! LOL. uhhh what else, i want to draw, i want to write, i want to learn french, i want to learn how to drive a car, i want to learn how to cook, i want to own a ps4, i want to continue skating, seems like i have been really rusty lol, i need to learn tricks, please. i want to talk to skater friends.i want to bake, maybe. i want money to give back to my parents. that has always been my mindest. i need to do good in everything. slowly, it could be frustrating to learn all these things & i am not the most patient person i know but i will try. i want to read on philosophy. i want to learn how to take photos in film. people is art. everything is art. i want to learn filipino readings, ricky lee as well. be exposed to filipino films. exposed to governments in other countries. what else! i want to own a record player. i want to listen to more music. the music i have been listening to is when i workout, mostly indie maybe. i want to learn more about politics. be open about everything

I’m just a little too busy to draw something major this month, just some very quick sketches. In mid or late next month, I’ll be freeeeeeeee (well, mostly lol.)
