i'm not super happy with it, but it's gone from my sketchbook to cardstock to digital so i think i should stop messing with it decloaked sif cuz. i ain't figuring that out. also it emphasizes their similarities or smth idk i HAD to draw smth for twohats i couldn't not uhhh coins i just kinda. guessed. what a coin looks like.no reference whatsoever they're meant to be from their country yeah :D

i like to headcanon that loop isn't "from another timeline" any more than 10th-loop siffrin is from a different timeline than 100th-loop siffrin. siffrin changed, and changed again, and those changes affect the world around them, but it's still the same world.

so lately i've been thinking about post-canon loop. trying so hard to not get attached again, bc it hurts too much, and anyway these are stardust's copies of the party, these people were never loop's. so they stay closed off, even mean, constructing the distance that should be there even as the others try to close it.

and then something happens. a moment remembered, maybe, a seeming-contradiction explained. and loop is forced to realize that these ARE their friends. these people they've been pushing away, lashing out at, rejecting in favor of clinging to memories - these are the exact people from the memories.

and the distance always has been, and is, and maybe at this point forever will be, loop's own fault.

I couldn't decide between making him human or squirl so. Doodles of both :].

I actually have a few thoughts about his human design under the cut. so.

OKAY. I lied a bit, I have ideas about squirrel Ross & human Ross lol. ANYWAY.

- He is wearing a jacket / hoodie with a tail design on the back. Not an actual fake tail, just the design.

- He has a red sun charm. He wears it on his belt / pants.

- He mostly hides his face! Not sure why. I just think it's fun if he does. Also bc I draw scarves so, So big /silly

- His gloves has little paw print designs! They're mostly stained red by the end of the series, like the ends of his scarf, but when they aren't, they're noticable.

- I didn't do it with his jacket, but I think it'd be grey with a white area on front. Like the mentioned tail design would be white. To push forward the squirrel stuff.

- He has cargo pants. To carry notes and items. Simple as that. It's mostly filled with random things he forgets about. I think after a while it's filled with items he took from the others after they visited him.

And much smaller squirrel Ross design notes:

- I think his fur is longer than typically, since he can't care for it. Same with it being matted and more just. a general mess. It is also stained red in several areas, and never really comes out, no matter how hard he tries.

- His scarf! I think since he can't carry the things the was human Ross could, he'd tie things to his scarf. It's also very off with it's length? Like. He fiddles with the short side a lot, and lets the long side drag, since he has little else to occupy himself with besides building. (Also because he has a tail, and felt busy having them at the same length lol.)

- Red sun earring!

I loooove slowed+reverb video game soundtracks on youtube, but so many of them have rain/campfire/etc ambience. and sometimes I like that, but depending on the specific ambience track, it sets off my misophonia and turns into auditory superhell for me (rain especially) so I need to figure out how to make these on my own
