from the website: "The story behind The Box of Storms is: a hunter was up in the mountains looking for muuwutch (deer) when a great storm rolled in. The man found a cave to hide out the storm, and as he entered, he lit a fire and noticed way at the back of the cave was a box.

As he approached and touched it, it fell from its perch to the ground and when it did, a huge roll of thunder and lightnight shot through the sky. That's when he knew this box controlled the thunder and lightning. So after the storm passed, he took the box back to his village.

Portrayed on the box front and back is the thunderbird. On the sides are lightning snakes.

I started this piece 5 years ago and kept picking away at it between other projects over the years, until recently, when I decided it was time to finish the piece."

"Uh-uh, not like that baby. T's real easy I promise. Lemme show you." Dana slid onto the others lap with a feline ease, straddling the swell of their thighs until she had drawn just close enough for the scent of vanilla to swarm them, sweet, sickly, and laced with the faint ghost of cigarette smoke tangled in silken hair. Acrylics, lacquered and lengthy, ventured to pluck the joint easily from him. Her drag was slow and indulgent, lips wrapping around in a way that bordered on p*rnographic in its purposeful unhurriedness. Smoke slithered lazily from the corner of her glossy mouth, moving now to lift the blunt up to his own as bloodshot eyes, thick with mascara, dragged over his face expectantly. "All's you gotta do is suck, and kinda inhale, too. Can you do that for me?" Pearly front teeth captured the plump swell of her mauve lower lip in a bid to silence any audible breathy laughter, allowing the challenge to sit in the air.

I love listening to Precious Jewel Amor’s full cover of the L’manburg anthem after watching and listening to a whole bunch of Doomsday animatics and fansongs. The fact that it’s the anthem, the minor lyric changes (“a bit blown up,” bringing back “and Eret,” switching the “my” to “our” in the final verse), the sound of her voice by the end — it feels like defiance. It feels like “frick you. the place is destroyed, but the spirit never has to die. our memories sure won’t. and meant to be or not, destroyed or not, it existed and it mattered. it matters.”

A very good find! I found a 2010 Build-A-Bear St. Louis Zoo Bison at the bottom of a bin in a local thrift shop in my town that's nowhere near St. Louis, and I should add that this particular plush is VHTF and general runs up to $90+ ((I've seen pristine ones with tag being over $500!)), and I snapped him up for $3

I've been wanting to get one for my Mom, who collects high quality bison stuff, and he's been in my sights for ages but just out of reach because of how limited this thing is. I just knew going to the thrift store was a good idea that day, I even found some brand new Disney Park shirts and an adorable parrot doll from a kid's meal set in 2005.

Excuse the dusty look, I was about to vaccum him off after he spent a week in the baking soda bath bag to freshen up. You can tell he's an older variant since he has the yellow paw side tag instead of the more modern BAB Paw Patch on the right limb.

Not kidding, these guys are expensive as all heck to get aftermarket, and BAB hasn't reissued them outside of thier exclusive shops.

Ridiculous that they're worth that much apparently, but that's why I like to treat these as treasure hunts and take my chances at digging through piles and piles of dolls to see if there's anything I really want in there.

He's a fantastic addition to Mom's bison collection. 💜🦬

So just today I realized that in one minecraft roleplay SMP I’ve gotten extremely emotionally invested in, drugs were the start of rebellion against the regime, and in another minecraft roleplay SMP I’ve gotten extremely emotionally invested in, drugs are currently being used BY the regime to keep people in line, and now I’m going even insaner than I already was which is saying something
