Rules of the reserve during lockdown

–Hikers must wear masks when entering the reserve and talking to staff members.

–The temperatures of all hikers will be taken on entering MRNR and those found to have an elevated temperature won’t be allowed to enter the reserve.

–Lockdown social distancing rules must be adhered to.

–During the COVID-19 period all hikers will have to sign our logbook prior to entering the reserve. They will need to supply their full names, cellphone and car registration numbers, and indicate that they understand and accept the rules of the reserve during the COVID-19 period.

–MRNR will provide screening and sanitising for all hikers entering the reserve.  

–The Advisory Board of the MRNR and the Stellenbosch Municipality won’t be held liable if a person is diagnosed with COVID-19 at a later stage.

–All hikers will exit the reserve daily by 6pm.

Inggatkah kamu, Mas, tentang percakapan senja pukul lima di teras rumahku waktu dulu? Sekali waktu kau bercerita soal wanitamu, betapa kau bimbang dengan jalan apa yang harus kau tempuh dalam hubunganmu dengannya yang tak jelas dua tahun terakhir, lalu di saat yang sama kau berkata padaku bahwa kau sedang menyukai seorang wanita yang lain. Saat aku mendengarmu bercerita di senja pukul lima itu, ada asa penuh harap bahwa ‘wanita yang lain‘ itu adalah aku, Mas, haha lucu bukan? Aku tau dari mulutmu sendiri soal relationmu dengan wanita itu tapi aku pun berpengharapan menjadi wanita lain yang sedang kau sukai. Wanita macam apa aku ini yang mengharapkan disukai laki-laki wanita lain? Baiklah kembali ke bagian kau bercerita tadi, kau bertanya pendapatku saat itu bukan? Tapi aku hanya berkata singkat padahal banyak yang ingin aku katakan, Mas, hanya saja pantaskah? Tepatkah? Benarkah itu porsiku untuk menjawab? Aku berusaha tidak menunjukkan kesedihanku lewat social media yang biasanya berisi tentangmu, Mas, saya tak ingin membuatmu merasa seistimewa itu lagi walau kenyataanya masih ada sebagian kamu di sini; di hati. Hanya saat itu.  Ah, betapa terkadang (masih) membuat sesak di dada.

Setelah beberapa minggu saya lupa hitungannya ini, Mas, saya mencoba terbiasa dengan ketidakhadiran chat BBM dan Line darimu, argument-argumen yang kau lontarkan padaku saat kita membahas sesuatu, sapaan ‘Senjaku’ dari mu untukku.

Memang tak mudah, sulit bahkan, tapi toh disinilah saya sekarang kan? Bermnggu-minggu melewati masa tanpa mu walau masih dengan kenangan tentangmu.
