first attempt at doodling Murderbot!! I’m still figuring it out(as of right now, I’ve just started the second book), so a lot of my design choices are inspired by amazing fanart I’ve seen, as well as what comes to mind when I hear Kevin R. Free. I’m sure some details will change as I progress. these are pretty emotionless doodles; I wanna try more expressions and it’s armor/suit later on. MB uses it/it’s pronouns

We knew about how, starting from Rogue Protocol, Murderbot cannot go five minutes without going "I miss ART so much", and finding that ART was going through the same exact thing is just delightful.

Like, I was sure it did already, but seeing it is the best.

Actually ill over the fact that ART plays it cool like "Well, maybe we'll cross paths again, SecUnit" and then immediately starts designing cute functional outfits to dress it up in the second it steps out of the airlock

Murderbot, a construct that was built and used to do extreme violence it's entire existence : I hate talking to people but I will try to resolve this situation peacefully if I can, threats only make people panic and then they take irrational decisions. Extreme violence is sometimes unavoidable but last resort.

ART, a peaceful research transportation : I love talking to people because I can threaten them with extreme violence right off the bat and it makes them do what I want (ads more totally-not-weapons to it's research equipment)
