It isn't her usual medium. Lacking distance, compressed air, and paint. She's never quite going to master Luis' position in under ten minutes — somehow, the pressure of cop's being around the corner, isn't quite here — so she's doing her best to not cartoon-ise him as a muse, and call it a win.

Laughing — Iz tilts her head as she draws, earning his ire. She isn't used to a moving subject either. She's usually got stencils, and still walls to serve as her substance.

"Fuck no, wait, but —" Levine's shaking her head, because she's given him stubble that's halfway across his cheeks, a nose that's a bit crooked — but his eyes; she's pretty confident in the eyes, maybe spent too many of the short minutes on getting the colour, and the spark right. That she'd completely forgotten to give him eyebrows.

Maybe she's underselling it. It's not that bad.

"If I put a mask on you," She's trying to tilt the canvas at an angle — as if it might improve it... "—and cut off the bottom portion of your face — it's not too bad," they're both chuckling, and she exasperates, picking up her drink beside her as they sit on the carpet, Izara likes to point out: "but I'd have this down if the challenge was like, I don't know, ten minutes more."

Humbling an artist, is easy when out of their element.

MUSE :  for one muse to model for the other’s art project.

It wasn't exactly an art project, in the traditional sense of the words. It was an art project, popularized by the god of the internet — Tiktok. Luis had bought them both an average size blank canvas and a couple of packs of colorful pencils and he had now turned a small area of his apartment into their work space.

"You're not supposed to move, Iz — " he protested. "Shit — I messed up your eyebrow" They were sat down across from each other, and had attempted to draw the other, under ten minutes. It was obvious, that all artistic talent in his family had gone to his baby brother. "Are you ready? Dude — " a series of chuckles erupted from his throat. One of her eyes had turned out smaller than the other; so much smaller, and her mouth was kinda lopsided, like she's had a stroke. " — I'm so sorry you have to see this. I'm buying you shots after this."

Was this a good idea? Probably not. But after seeing her several times and not being able to touch her, Axel just couldn't help himself. He knew that she could easily shove him away if she wanted to and he'd let her. But for now...

He reached towards Izara, his fingers sliding between her belt loop and the fabric of her pants and he yanked her closer to him. "Even though we've kept our space... I have missed you, Iz." Axel's words were soft and quiet as his eyes gazed at her lips. "And with your permission, I would like to kiss you."
