talagang pwedeng asexual or demiromantic yung mc mo pero hindi ko tutukuyin sa loob ng game—para sa imagination mo na lang yun. hindi ko tinutukoy kahit anong sexuality. yung sexuality ni mc ay based lang sa mga choices mo, kung niniromance mo si duma at tala o pareho. optional yung mga future sex scenes tapos hihingi yung mga love interests ng consent bago hahalikan si mc so pwedeng wala para sa mc na asexual.

pero magiging matapat ako—sinusulat ko yung mga romances batay sa mga preferences ko bilang isang bisexual na babae. susubukin ko na maging inclusive hangga't maari pero yung mga experiences at yung mga gusto ko ay ang batayan pa rin nung story. hindi ko pwede icapture lahat na lahat ng mga experiences na hindi sa akin. sana maiintindihan niyo ako!

Hi hi hello hiii! I've been meaning to check out your WIP for a while now, and can I just say? I'm so sooo happy I finally found a fellow IF author writing with children as the main cast! They're not very popular it seems. I also adore your premise a lot because it sounds like the type of of thing I'd write too. Villain wanting to rewrite the ending, the metafictional elements… Mine was a reimagining of my earlier novel too. I guess great minds think alike, huh? (1/2)

And honestly I really look up to you! When I was first deciding if I wanted to make TGOH into a IF or not I looked at other WIP's on the forums to see what was out there, and MWCAPH was one of the games that convinced me to do it! Thank you so much!

Yeah, I noticed that too about stories focused on children - I think oftentimes people want to jump right into the romance, but I'm slow burn ftw. I also wanted to give the tropeyness of the genre time to do it's thing, you know?

And thank you so much! The premise of a story rewrite has always appealed to me - time travel, new fantasy worlds and that sort of thing. Great minds totally think alike, lol! 😜🤣😆

I am also - as Roselyna puts it - fluffy. It just made sense to have the option lmao. And aw - that's so cute! I'm so glad people used that option (to call Astasus brother).

v2.2.10 (Dear Diary Update)

Hello. This is weird. If you missed my last post, I finally changed my story's title from "Mommy, We Created a Plot Hole!" to "Dear Diary, We Created a Plot Hole!"

I updated the demo again to reflect the new changes, and you can find the update log below. The log includes the changes I made from a stealth update I did some days ago. I had to create a new demo so I can change the title, so please report anything weird, such as missing images!

Also, in case you've been out of the loop, I wrote In Auctorem Credimus, a 50k word sidequel story for DDWCaPH! last month! Check out this post for more information!

GENERAL

Have you read/played The Grand Academy for Future Villains? It is similar to MWCAPH. It takes place at a school that teaches kids from various genres (fantasy, horror, thriller, and scifi) how to be villains.

I think I remember reading the demo once? But I didn't like it much. Also the idea of playing as villains usually don't appeal to me, especially since I like to play as either Wayne or Roselyna.

Just curious, i know the mc and even the spouse can be whoever the readers want them to be, but seeing how the story play out... The mc is supposed to be the father of the mwcaph twins, right? (At first i didn't realise that. But then i do but i was still wondering if the mc is supposed to be maggie or the father. But after i read further into the story and i don't think it's maggie because the mc didn't recognize jullie when they met)

Before I fixed the typos there are actually a few instances where you can see that I refer to the MC as the dad and the spouse as the mother.

I've actually had the idea for this side story long before even the jam, although it was originally from Maggie's perspective. Maggie's backstory has changed quite a bit since then, and it made more sense for the twins' father to be the MC in IAC.

I have decided that the twins' father is partially customizable (including their race regardless of genre), but because this is a game jam project, I didn't have much time to consider what variables and story elements will end up being relevant in MWCaPH! It's very much possible that I will change key details in IAC in the future.

While it would be great to have full customization over the twins' family, I don't think it's feasible to do that considering I want to make MWCaPH! into a VN. Maggie's name and other backstory elements might become customizable in some way, but other variables, like changing their genders, or how the twins were conceived, wouldn't really fit the story I've planned.

I don't want to say anything concrete though—I do want to make it possible without creating too much work or compromising my vision too much.

And speaking of Julie, the MC didn't recognize her, but they did think that she's somehow familiar. 😉

not me clowning for @mwcaph-game again but the twins said clown rights! and so i deliver:

They were preemie babies, and that's partly why they need more warmth than others.

Eli thankfully shouldered 0 side effects aside that, but Helene's got partially weaker lungs :')

Catch her racing Wayne out during recess tho, 0 thoughts. just nyoom.

As they didnt know their dad, both grew up as mommy's girl/boy. However, Eli, hurt from Mommy Maggie's abandonment, swears he's not anymore. That's when the Photo incident happens, and Helene and him break one (1) promise.

They love each other ofc, but the hurt and their clashing ideas in regards to Maggie really gives friction between them

but moving on

Helene's favorite snack? Just bring her to the orange cart outside of school and get all the kwek kwek :)

Eli's a little more refined, preferring the siomai & siopao in the karinderia :)

Catch the two sipping on Chuckee and Dutch mill boxes during lunch. Helene is a chocolate aficionado while Eli loves all things strawberry

While both kiddos do love Zest-O, both agree that the orange flavor is big YUCK! (my eyes are closed)

and during the town fiesta, he used to surprise the two with those colored chicks u can win with 5 pesos from a passing peddler (helene gets a green one while eli takes the pink). They were able to raise the chickens, who they named Pechi (...from pechay) and Potchi to adulthood.

"So... kelan natin yan ipiprito?" "Tito?!" "They are friends, not food--"

It's a running gag between their family, since the two still love to eat fried chicken. Nonetheless Pechi and Potchi are their pets, and they take care of them on a small pen by the backyard.

......when they were younger, the two debated whether they'd like to call their tita and tito as mama and papa, but ultimately decide tita and tito is more comfy for them.

(not that julie and robert would mind, i think.)

(and honestly i do have a set of relatives i call as mama and papa instead of tito and tita, but then again. i am already clowning enough lol)
