watching christopherodd's playthrough of alan wake 2 because my friend got me hooked on it, and i know it eventually goes off the fucking rails and gets really meta and experimental, but damn, until then it's just a really interesting horror game that i'm watching alone in my room at night and i'm SCARED!

I turned on OneDrive like a goddamn fool and while most of what happened, I have already fixed or can fix rather easily, I accidentally somehow wound up moving my Documents folder to my Desktop which is frustrating and also fucking up my video games, since my save files aren't in the directory they're trying to fetch from
and I cannot figure out how to fix it so I guess I'm gonna put my Best Buy membership to use and have the computer experts help me put things back in order
don't turn on OneDrive unless you know exactly what you're doing, folks
#I had a literal breakdown over all this#I run my computer filing system like a fucking ship#everything has its place and can be found easily#so my file locations getting fucked is SO upsetting#esp bc I know just enough about computers to know how fucked it got#but not enough to know how to fix it#for the life of me I do not understand why OneDrive moves stuff out of local folders#and onto a OneDrive folder#surely there has to be a different method#anyways once I get this sorted out I'll just go back to my usual method of backup#manually copying things over onto my portable hard drive#hhhhhhhh I'm not in the right headspace for this#I've been going through a REAL rough time for a while mentally and I cannot handle this#I JUST WANT TO PLAY MY SIMS FUCK YOU ONEDRIVE#speecher speaks
