michelle's buddie fic recs: week 10!
and oh, what a week it's been... so, how are we feeling about 8x09?
this is a mix of fics with all ratings, so some include NSFW content. please take a look at both the ratings and the fic tags before reading! some might contain spoilers for season 8.
if you come across something you like in this list, remember to show some love to the author by leaving kudos and a comment!
atomic spiral | ameliahart/@melliehart | 13.3k | E
Eddie starts cockblocking Buck. Things escalate from there. oh crazygirl eddie, how much i love you <3 absolutely loved his characterisation here and i though the bit with chris' "emergency" was super fun!!
blame it on the [painkillers] | OneTrueEmotion/@one-eighteen | 2.7k | GA
Featuring a broken arm, some painkillers, and an accidental love confession. so cute and soft and fun <3 i loved buck being a little loopy!!
brojob | WendigoBaby | 6.8k | E
eddie asks buck to show him a good time and they find joy along the way. loved buck's characterisation here!! and the premium buck 1.0 bit made me giggle <3
broken pieces fit together | foxwatson/@eddiediazes | 2.7k | T
When Buck gets home from the hospital, he stays with the Diazes - and stays in Eddie's bed. Maybe Eddie isn't the only one getting comfort from it. i can't even count how many times i've reread this, that's how much i love this one! such lovely hurt/comfort <3
deep inside a gold mine | marviless/@marviless | 8.5k | T
in which eddie is in love and a bit clingy about it. oh, how i adore clingy eddie <3 he deserves to be clingy!! let him cling!! this is such a gem of a fic for sure <3
everything's growing in our garden | mostardent/@laracrofted | 29.8k | E
Eddie moves to El Paso for the rest of the school year, and Buck grows a garden in his backyard and waits for him to come home. this fic!! i genuinely think this is my favourite eddie goes to el paso fic ever. it's so beautifully written, has some really funny moments too but is mostly just so gorgeous. my green thumb starts and ends with the one succulent i've had for two years, but this makes me want to pick up gardening for real. so, so good <3
feel you forever | semperama/@semperama | 5.8k | E
Buck isn’t hard, not yet, not all the way, but he still can’t help but squirm, like Eddie can see through his clothes, through his skin even, to the heart of him where he’s hiding all these fucked up desires. “Is this…” Eddie meets his eyes again. “Is this new?” SO hot. buck is so real for having a thing for eddie's hands for sure, and i loved reading about it!! so good!!
hold me closer | smilingbuckley/@smilingbuckley | 2.2k | T
Buck has a tough shift when he fills in at the B-shift. He goes to Eddie for comfort. i am a simple person. i see the tag forehead kisses, i click on the fic, i repeat this approximately 27 times. this fic feels like a warm hug after a long day, and i'm sure i'll be back to click on it for the 28th time very soon <3
homophobia in the build-a-bear | paleredheadinascifi | 2.9k | T
Eddie builds a very gay Build-A-Bear. Unless you ask Buck. Then it's just a very rainbow ally bear. this is so fun and cute and so them <3 loved it so much!!
in sickness, in health | earthtolovers/@earthtolovers | 10.9k | E
Eddie gets sick. Buck takes care of him—in more ways than one. domestic and soft and also so hot wow. i love their dynamic in this one!!
let the quiet put things where they are supposed to be | theheartbelieves | 26.7k | E
Eddie and Buck share a bed during their pandemic bubble and things escalate. oh, the glory of freak4freak buddie fics <3 the explicit scenes here are very very good, but i also really enjoyed the moments with hen and chimney!
moving on from him is impossible | playinginthunderstorms/@playinginthunderstorms | 3k | E
Eddie is stressed and has trouble... unwinding, while in El Paso. Buck helps. Like a good friend would. the best buck narration!! and such great dialogue <3 loved loved loved reading this one!!
speaking your (love) language | thelikesofus/@thelikesofus | 11.6k | T
Eddie's love language is acts of service and Buck takes full advantage of this information. this is so soft and full of love <3 i adore it!!
was i even on your way? | rangerdanger/@call-me-medusa | 3k | M
Buck gets reminded of something that happened he'd rather forget. the one thing i'll never forgive this show for is how they treated the dr wells thing, so i'm always so glad when i see fics discussing that further. this was both a really great look at buck's feelings about it, and also has some really lovely buddie <3
you're not saying you're in love with me (but you're going to) | turquoiseviolet/@turquoisevioiet | 29k | T
it takes an attempted home purchase, a holiday trip to texas, and some sisterly meddling for these two idiots to have some realizations. such a stunning fic!! i love the diaz sister so much and this has incredible chris characterisation! the scene on the pullout couch was my favourite <3

Good metas are beautiful and wonderful but MOST of the enjoyment I get from metas are comparing/contrasting my personal view with op's point. Metas shouldn't supplant reading the source material and forming conclusions for yourself. Some metas are incredibly good and don't 100% agree with my personal view, and that's the fun of different perspectives! But it's usually worth reading the material metas are based off of, because all metas are inevitably influenced by the op's point of view.
#not to say you CAN'T have your perspective changed by a meta because excellent metas are meant to do just that#but even if a person has read more than you that doesn't mean they're always correct OR that you have to agree with them#some of my own metas are probably really ignorant 😭#and that's fine! to be wrong is to be human#but just like we have to critically engage with comics we should also critically engage with the metas we read/reblog#idk i just feel like blindly believing metas/panels (even by people who do read comics) leads to misconceptions spreading about#even if the op is correct from one perspective doesn't mean there aren't equally valid alternative interpretations as well#this applies to comic recs too. what one person hates might be a comic you end up loving!!!

I fell down a Beatles-Jimi Hendrix rabbit hole (Jimi and his manager living in Ringo’s flat! Linda being Jimi’s favourite photographer!) and I’m charmed by what a cheerleader Paul was for Jimi, right from the beginning.
He first saw him on 25 October 1966, when the Jimi Hendrix Experience played the Scotch of St James club. Chas Chandler, Jimi’s manager, was trying to get him noticed in London. So he set up this private showcase at a very hip club, and invited agent Dick Katz to come along. Chas remembered:
Paul McCartney was also sitting at our table and leant over to say he hoped Dick had Jimi signed up as he would be a giant.”
A month later, Experience played the Bag o’Nails club. Word had got around: as rock musician Terry Reid remembered, “We were all hanging out in Carnaby Street, at the Bag O’Nails - Keith, Mick Jagger, Brian (Jones) comes skipping through, like, all happy about something. Paul McCartney walks in. Jeff Beck walks in. Jimmy Page. I thought, ‘What’s this? A bloody convention or something?’”
The performance was overwhelming - for the band as well as the audience. Noel Redding, the Jimi Hendrix Experience bass player, remembered: “Afterwards, in the dressing room, Lennon walked in, which freaked me out. He was saying, ‘Fuckin grand.’ He loved it, but I was like 20 years old, John Lennon had walked into our dressing room and said ‘That’s grand, lads.’ And then McCartney walked in and that freaked me out even more.”
John was a fan, too.Mike Nesmith of The Monkees remembers: “I was having dinner in London with John Lennon, Eric Clapton and a group of people. In the middle of dinner John produced this portable tape player and requested that the restaurant turn down the piped-in music. He then proceeded to play ‘Hey Joe’ on his recorder saying, ‘You guys gotta check this out.’ Everyone was reverential…” (The Monkees became big Hendrix fans, and later booked him as a support act on tour. It didn’t go well.)
On 25 February 1967, Paul reviewed Jimi for the Melody Maker’s “Blind Date” column, where pop stars reviewed singles without being told who the artist was:

The Jimi Hendrix Experience went on to play the Saville Theatre, run by Brian Epstein, who also hosted a first night party for them. (Noel Redding remembers Paul rushing to open the door for them.)
Paul’s own favourite Jimi Hendrix story is at the Saville: Jimi playing the title track of Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band:
It’s still obviously a shining memory for me, because I admired him so much anyway, he was so accomplished. To think that that album had meant so much to him as to actually do it by the Sunday night, three days after the release. He must have been so into it, because normally it might take a day for rehearsal and then you might wonder whether you’d put it in, but he just opened with it. It’s a pretty major compliment in anyone’s book. I put that down as one of the great honours of my career.
More generally, they were hanging out and having a good time. Roger Mayer, Jimi’s guitar engineer, recalls Paul regularly dropping in to see Jimi at his flat or in the studio. And journalist Sharon Lawrence remembers:
the delight in Jimi’s voice as he recounted how he’d admired a custom-made jacket McCartney was wearing and that the Beatle had insisted Jimi should have it. ‘It even had his initials inside!’
But Jimi and the Experience still had to crack the US. As Jimi put it:
Paul McCartney was the big bad Beatle, the beautiful cat who got us the gig at the Monterey Pop Festival. That was our start in America.
Chas Chandler went into more detail:
You gotta remember how huge the Beatles were in them days. They were just a colossus. And when the Mamas and the Papas and John Phillips and them come up with the Monterey thing, they asked Paul to be part of the board that was set up in front and would guarantee the Monterey festival. Paul just basically said, ‘I’ll join the board at Monterey if the Jimi Hendrix Experience are on the show’. That was his condition on joining it.
Around the same time, Paul invited Jimi to take part in another project. Jimi explained:
We were supposed to be on The Magical Mystery Tour. The Beatles used to come and see us sometimes, like at certain concerts like the Saville Theatre, and Paul McCartney told me about this little scene he had. They were planning to do a film and he wanted us to be in this film. We weren’t known then when McCartney asked us. He was trying to help us, but we got a nice break before they got the movie together.
This means Paul nearly got the dream combo of a band, a bus, and Jimi Hendrix. He would have been so happy.
Paul and Jimi did work together once, on Mike McCartney’s McGough & McGear album (1968). Jimi was also friends with Linda, his favourite photographer (he wanted her pictures on the cover of Electric Ladyland, and was angry when the record company substituted the cover with all the naked ladies.)

Jimi and Paul at the launch party for Mary Hopkin’s album Postcard, 13 February 1969. This seems to be the only photograph of Jimi and Paul together - which is strange, given that they were friends, and that Linda loved both of them. Maybe Paul is sitting on an unreleased archive of pictures?
And there’s one more near miss, this time with Jimi asking Paul. A telegram sent on 21 October 1969 invites Paul to join Jimi and jazz trumpeter Miles Davis on a new recording. Peter Brown, curses be upon him, sent a reply that Paul was on holiday - he and Linda were in Scotland, retreating from Paul Is Dead and the breakup - and Brown seems not to have passed the message on. Maybe it wouldn’t have happened (Miles withdrew from the session with Jimi - allegedly over fees). Still, even if the message didn’t get through, it’s very sweet to think of Hendrix offering Paul a helping hand when he was at his lowest.

#jimi hendrix#imagine jimi on the magical mystery tour bus#or would he have been a wizard?#given jimi’s excellent taste in jackets I’d love to know which one he got from paul#i love john taking a tape recorder around and silencing restaurants so he can play his own recs#john tended not to hang out in clubs watching live music#so jimi was one of his exceptions#i love it when the beatles go into fan mode#once a music nerd always a music nerd#it's so sweet#by the way the wind cries mary was written in ringo’s flat#beatles sharing clothes#magical mystery tour#monterey pop festival#noel redding#chas chandler#paul and jimi#long post#tag for mine or my addition#paul mccartney#john lennon

hello! i found your blog via a reblog talking about fanon vs canon drarry and i really liked reading your interpretation of them, in fact i thought it was super refreshing. i was wondering, do you have any fic recs that you feel respect their canon selves and evolve their relationship accordingly? or even just fics where the two of them aren't changed too much to fit fanon? thank you in advance!
Hello !!
Thank you for your comment! Honestly, most of the things I say about drarry are what I find in the books so it's not a novelty but it's nice of you 😊
Though, I know some fics which I reckon portrays Harry and Draco almost exactly how they are in canon (both in their personalities and dynamics):
- Eclipse by Mijan (my fav): https://archiveofourown.org/works/327164/chapters/527529
- Only Your Shadow by Mijan : https://archiveofourown.org/works/328081
- Friendly Fire by Alissia: https://archiveofourown.org/works/62049574
Fics with slightly different interpretation of Harry and Draco but not much ooc :
- the series Summer 2009 (Poppiholla/Hoppipolla) by Moonflower_Rose : https://archiveofourown.org/series/2614666
- A Szerelem Labirintusa by Viridescence (smutty) : https://archiveofourown.org/works/394307
- Nothing, Everything by SasuNarufan13: https://archiveofourown.org/works/11089860
Full smut (I'm a bottom Harry enjoyer 🤭):
- Sleep Is For The Weak FightFireWithFire: https://archiveofourown.org/works/57197515
- Fuck or Die by Rubygreene (series): https://archiveofourown.org/series/4410379
- Go Fast Go Slow by gracerene: https://archiveofourown.org/
On going fic (not finished but the author is working on it and Harry and Draco are quite different from most fics which is👌🏻) :
- A Marriage Contract: The Perils Of Falling In Love by FightFireWithFire: https://archiveofourown.org/works/54564007/chapters/138252733
If you're interested in others you can also check out my bookmarks : https://archiveofourown.org/users/Ashtter07/bookmarks
#fic recs#drarry#draco malfoy#harry james potter#There are plenty of others#Their dynamics are more or less canon-like but everybody likes to twist things here and there to add a bit of originality#Props to all of them by the way their fics are excellent 🫶🏻#there are other incredible writters though !!#props to them too 🫶🏻#they inspire me so much for my fic#dmhp

Unwind by Neal Shusterman? I really liked it at least
hmm I've never even heard of this one-- JESUS THAT'S A PLOT
OKAY yeah colour me intrigued on that one
and I've been really appreciating all the book recommendations I've been getting! Thrilled to look up ones I've never heard of, I love seeing what sort of books stick with people enough that it's a go-to recommendation! There's a few I've already put on hold at my library :3
#i couldn't tell you why exactly but this book is making me think of The Marrow Thieves#though that might just be because all ya dystopia makes me think of The Marrow Thieves#which is a highwater mark for the genre imho#also the people who recommended me Disabled Tyrant's Beloved Pet Fish and Murderbot Diaries - you understand me on a fundamental level u.u#excellent taste i am shaking you by the hand#also had two discrete people recommend the httyd books which amused me#anyway if anyone else has a book rec for me throw them my way i've been reading nothing but duds lately#i really need something GOOD to break this funk#bene speaks

webcomic rec of the day:
Kill the Villainess

Plot: I reincarnated in a novel inside the body of a villainess named Elise who poisoned herself when her fiancé, the prince, married her childhood friend, the maid Helena. From the moment I realized this, I had only one goal. Escape from the world in this novel. To succeed, however, I must play the part of "Elise" and die her foretold death, even as the events of the novel start to change.
Comment: Oh, man. I've heard many good things of this webcomic to the point where I was annoyed and refused to read it out of spite. However, one day spite was not enough to keep me away and I gave it a try and now I have to admit, yes, it more than deserves its praise.
In a genre full of villainesses turning out to be good guys, getting the man and the happy ending in their new world, this story breaks convention. It doesn't just linger on the passing trauma of transmigrating into a new world, it makes it the core theme. On top of that, without spoiling too much, this story never loses sight of its start. Too often these stories get caught up in adding yet another villain and conspiracy, shifting the goals ever so slightly, but Kill the Villainess says this is a story about death and holds to its promise. This, of course, doesn't mean there isn't a happy ending.
Also, I'd die for Anakin and not just because he's called Anakin. In a world of golden haired red eyes Male Leads, he's a knight in shining armor.
#letters webcomic adventures#webcomic recs#kill the villainess#do you guys want more of these webcomic recs?#im mostly writing this to justify my excel sheet reaching the 90s of webcomics I've started#and if i tell myself im doing this for writing reviews#it feels less like wasting my time#and more like doing sth productive

Pasta! Pasta! Pasta! I think you mentioned that you were currently reading through Daredevil comics. Is there any you recommend as a must read?
I DID! I've gone through a decent amount of runs now, working my way through the Big Rec'd arcs, and it is wild to see all these bits and pieces that I recognize as contributing to the show that really got my love for Matt started, there's some really good shit here.
I'd say Frank Miller's classic The Man Without Fear, and Born Again runs are the biggest Must Read! Having read through some of the arcs that came out before Miller's runs, I get now why people say Miller changed the game with Daredevil. These runs are foundational to all of our modern depictions of Matt, and a huge part of Daredevil's history and development. Miller's arcs aren't necessarily my favorites in terms of pure enjoyment, but they're top of the list because you just get so much of who modern Matt and Daredevil is, distilled down into its purest form.
The Brian Michael Bendis + Alex Maleev run is so gut-wrenching (and somewhat heartbreaking, but what else is new with Matt) in a stunning way, and fleshes out the world around Matt so gd well. The tonal darkness Netflix pulled a lot of its vibe from is on full display, and I loved the importance of characters like Ben Urich. I can see how this run inspired writers that came after, this was another foundational run for Matt. (I'd continue with Brubaker's run immediately after this since it continues the story!)
I know Matt's whole thing is depression, but I feel like Mark Waid's run was a really solid amalgamation of Matt's lighter tone earlier on and the more serious vibe he gets later. This is both a fun read and a solid one, allowing us to kind of see a bit more of what Matt's like when his life's not spiraling from tragedy to tragedy even if he's still taking things seriously when necessary. And damn was this a breath of fresh air. It's on my Must Read list because what's the point of following Matt if we never get to see him happy? This might be my personal enjoyment favorite.
Kevin Smith's Guardian Devil run, not necessarily because I think it's the best but because we really dig into Matt's catholicism here in a way that ends up influencing a lot of what comes later. Must Read for this take alone, since Matt's faith has become a big part of who he is as a character, even if parts of this run are a bit rough (there is sometimes waaay too much text on the page, which from what I understand Smith has acknowledged).
That's what I've got so far! I still have a TON on my list I want to get to (Soule's the next one I'm eyeing) before fully diving into Chip Zdarsky's current run (which I am very excited about), but these are the Big Reads that I think give an excellent sense of who Matt is as we understand him, his history, and how he's developed over the decades. ❤️
#daredevil#waid might be my favorite run so far for personal enjoyment#but these were all excellent runs tbh for understanding our Matt on a fundamental level#and understanding where it is he COMES from. all these important pieces writers have added that are built on later.#my reading order is a bit chaotic because i didn't follow the reading order guide someone had directed me to BUT#the frank miller runs are def first to read i think#then probably Smith's run and then Bendis's run#i have no idea where this all stands on comic!matt discourse cause I'm not plugged into that but those are my personal recs!

“Computer, end message,” said the younger Julian Bashir, as flushed with embarrassment as his counterpart had been flushed with arousal. “Computer, belay that order,” said Garak.
Fanart of one of my favorite moments from the amazing fic A Bag Full Of God by @vermin-disciple (The whole series it belongs to is also so so good, please do yourself a favour and check it out if you haven’t already!)
The mental image of a deaged Garak — with his heart full of murder and inadvisable devotion to Tain and Cardassia yet untempered by time and Julian Bashir — still being like ‘no no let’s hear him (you) out we don't know where he's going with this’ as he watches his husband-to-be-in-like-fifty-years perform a loving Space Zoom striptease, while a deaged Julian goes 😳 next to him at the mortifying ordeal of witnessing his future slutty dilf self cheerfully sending nudes… *chef’s kiss* I was laughing so hard that I was wheezing

What I've been reading May 2025
January • February • March • April • 2024
I read 'only' 2.4mil words in fic this month, lowest that's been in ages, even though I had a lot of free time! I think I read less because I actually wrote a lot these past weeks for a prompt event!
In addition to fic I also read seven Yoko Tsuno comics, and I continued reading the bird non-fiction by Jennifer Ackerman, I'm now on page 228 of The Bird Way and have read about bird sounds, their 'work', their use of tools (one page precisely describes what's happening in this video!) and how they can be playful :)
Coming to the fic recs of the month (over 80! wow, I've read a lot of good stuff this month!), I've actually mostly got femslash on there this month! Well, the ship I've got the most for is Stucky because basically all of the slash I read was for that ship with just a handful of 00q, Geraskier, and one Poirot, while for femslash it's pretty evenly split up into Bering and Wells and Berena, and I've also read some Avorah and Khany/Yoko. The links are to the fic recs on Ao3, do check them out :)
My absolute fav fics of the month are:
Stucky:
My favs definitely have a theme, lots of fics about Bucky and/or Steve getting out of the fighting business and settling down somewhere :)
From What Seemed Like A Ruin by @artgroves and @rohkeutta, 50k T-E, Bucky centric
an irrevocable condition by @wrenaspun, Bucky centric with lovely OCs, 14k T
The Things That Unlocked Him by @sadbi-hours and @norelationtoatticus 143k E, modern!Steve canon!Bucky BDSM and plot
Where the Need is Greatest by @princessniitza, Steve joins Doctors Without Borders instead of SHIELD, Bucky finds him anyway. 20k T
oh my love, my love, Steve and Bucky from 1939 to 2015 as seen through Steve's quite poetic journal entries, I made a podfic of this! 20min/3k words, T
And my absolute fav 360k monster that I'm still slowly working my way through, Operation: Gros Michel by @norelationtoatticus, "In which Steve learns to surf, Bucky becomes a gardener, and they both begin to heal.", ft. current politics and social justice, dealing with trauma, wonderful OCs, and a move to Florida, rated E.
Berena:
Mistletoe, a 24k G series which @squishmittenficfan wrote for me for a gift exchange, loved the re-read! Elinor lives and meets Charlotte at university, cue Family holiday fluff.
The Move by @sassyrequin, "Serena moves to Nairobi to be with the one great love affair of her life". 40k M
'Appy' Christmas by robliz, Serena vs. the world of dating apps, 13k T
Warehouse 13:
Appeal by @purlturtle, Helena is an opera singer and Myka spontaneously ends up on stage with her, inspired by a fic idea I had :) 10k T
Christmas in Clement by @birdofdawning, here they are "the jilted other people in a Christmas romcom", 9k rated G
Also by @purlturtle, Sometimes dæmons change, a really emotional little daemons!AU/canon-divergence, 6k words, rated G
Warehouse 13 reimagined by @sparklyjacquelee, an all female Warehouse world! 3k + series note, G
My own fake married fic, I had so much fun with this! Artifact hunt shenanigans, 10k words, rated T
Misc:
Right here on tumblr, this fun little LotR bit about Eowyn and Glorfindel by @tanoraqui (900 words, G)
My own first Mirandy fic The Mystery Stranger, re-read it for podfic purposes and honestly, slay! I love coming across old fic of mine that I still enjoy :) 6k words, T
And a gen fic I beta read despite knowing absolutely nothing about the fandom (Fallout) bc I know the author from a Star Wars discord: She Had Herself by LambdaGnome, there are currently 4k posted but the entire 30k fic is finished and will presumably update regularly now, and it's such an interesting story, I can only recommend you check it out, whether you know the fandom or not!
Shoutout also/especially to @squishmittenficfan (squishmitten on Ao3) @purlturtle (NuMo on Ao3), @odsbodkins (Ao3), sevtacular, @princessniitza (niitza on Ao3), @wrenaspun (spinawren on Ao3) @enemyofrome (Ao3) @sparklyjacquelee (jacquelee on Ao3), @sassyrequin (requin on Ao3), @amnesiaguy (ftmsteverogers on Ao3), the most fics I read this month were from you guys, so thank you for giving me so much great reading material :D
Tagging everyone tagged above and everyone else who sees this to make your own rec list on tumblr and/or update your Ao3 bookmarks with some fic recs :)

been slowly rereading kmky and it's so weird to feel nostalgia while reading it instead of the familiar anticipation for the next chapters😭😭 also recently discovered the mess inside by the mountain goats and no joke CRIED because of how much it reminded me of the post-breakup billford from your fic specifically. like a friend by pulp and goddes by laufey are also great billford songs if you're looking for some recs:)
and basically thank you for your precious writing and for making every readers' life better with your works!!!
The mountain goats are so good I feel like I have five of their songs on my playlist already but oop there goes another one!
So many good lines in those songs. I see the pulp song as the anger throughout the multiverse and the laufey song as Bill's betrayal after chapter 34. These song recs slap 🥳😍🥳🥳
I've been listening to a lot of old songs for the sequel BC I've had the mental image in my head of Ford watching Bill dance to Quando Quando Quando by Engelbert Humperdinck when he thinks Ford isn't watching and the light is shining through the window, and Bill has no idea Ford is there he's just in his own element and so relaxed and happy and Ford is just standing there wrestling with his own burning want after so many years of convincing himself this is the last thing he should want, but he doesn't care. It's like they have their old selves back in this stolen sliver of time and his heart is up in his throat and he wants to be happy with him so badly. Ugh!! I have the brainrot! These two assholes drive me crazy in the best way!!
I hope you have fun on your reread ❤️

Hey, the mythology anthology I organized just made it into a promo sale at Kobo!
(Side note to appreciate that tongue-twister of a sentence that I'm glad I don't have to say out loud.)
Anyways, who wants a quality ebook for Mother's Day? Perhaps your mother is intrigued by mythological re-imaginings? Gods and sci-fi? Legends and noir? There's a lot to like here.
(The sale is May 8th-12th, 2025, but the book's good anytime.)
#book recs#the first year's profits go to Doctors Without Borders#and there is some excellent fiction in here#hard to go wrong#my writing#my friends' writing#go team#Shatterlore: Myths of Past and Future
