A Sole Survivor based off of myself, lmao.

Not much to say about her, I always have at least one character based off myself. So a lot of things about this SoSu, are basically about myself. Born in Malden, grew up in Revere, lived around Salem (Beverly/Danvers doesn’t seem to really be mentioned in the game) for a few years and moved to Sanctuary shortly after meeting her ‘Nate’.

I changed Dogmeat in this game into a Golden Retriever, as I have one in real life.

Day seven of OCtober!! Holy crap, i never thought i would get this far!!! Anyway, can't believe i done my first week, but here's me oc-ified. is that the right word? idk

Goth: You seem nervous, Zak.

Zak: N-No, no, I’m…I’m not nervous. I’m just…a little surprised, is all.

Goth: Hmm, about what?

Zak: I guess I just never expected…this with the two us. I mean, after what happened back in the north. What happened between us. What I did to you. When all you wanted was to find your way back home. You’ve been through a lot.

Goth: I went through some many events, yes. But that’s still no excuse for me to have treated you the way I did. My mind wasn’t in the greatest of places. I’ve moved on from that. I’ve had time now that I’m back in my homeland. These past few months, I’ve…been thinking. Thinking about you, really.

Zak: About me? What…what’ve you been thinking about?

Goth: I keep thinking about how strong you really are. Your survival instinct. Your will. The way you persevered through what I’ve done to you. How you bested me not only once, but twice. Nobody has ever done that before. You are the first. And…by Zotz, I love that about you. I admire you. And I still do now. Zak…what I’m going to say next may sound very forward. And maybe even unbelievable. But I’ve been waiting to say this for some time now.

*Goth closes his eyes takes a deep breath, as if bracing himself for something, before opening them and looking back down at Zak with a blush on his face. Before the Greywing can make a reply, Goth closes the distance…and kisses him. Zak doesn’t resist, only closing his eyes after a brief moment of surprise and melting into the kiss. They separate only after several seconds of silence, only the sounds of their own breathing accompanying night, Goth looking at the male below him with a newfound love in his eyes.*

Goth: I want you, Zak. Ever since we first met and fought, both times being bested by you, I’ve fallen for you. I love you. I…want you to be my mate. If you’ll have me as yours.

*Zak doesn’t answer for a moment, seemingly still in a slight daze from the kiss, before getting his bearings back. His light brown eyes gaze right into Goth’s own emerald green, before he gives a small smile.*

Zak: Goth, I…yeah. Yes, I…I’d like that. I’ve never…been in a serious relationship before. You’re my first partner, actually. My first kiss.

Goth: Well, I’m honored to be your first ever mate, Zak. How was your first kiss, may I ask? Was it how you imagined it to be?

*Goth grins warmly, earning an unsure look from Zak, before the Greywing gains a playful glint in his eye and smiles.*

Zak: I don’t know. I think I might need a…second test run, for a final opinion.

*Goth chuckles and lowers himself closer to Zak, the smaller male not hesitating to wrap his arms around his neck with a smile of his own, their lips brushing and their respective goatees tickling each other’s chin.*

Goth: I’d be happy to provide, mi amor.

Looks like the night is going to be well-spent between these two. ;3c Heart

Gosh, so, I feel really proud of this piece! I genuinely enjoyed writing out the dialogue up above, too. I love imagining how the moment Goth professing his love for Zak would go, and what he would say that signals how and when he started falling in love with the former human.

And, also, I adore the idea that Zak would be sly and playful about the first kiss, saying he needs another one to state his final opinion. Love

Anyway, ta-dah! Hope y’all like this just as much as I do! Expect to see more of these two, ‘cause I know I’m still thinking over some lovely ideas with my favorite selfOC/Canon ship. :3
